• Burgundy trousers. Women's burgundy jeans as an element of variety What shoes go with burgundy jeans

    08.12.2023

    How to diversify your wardrobe? Many women ask this question, but each chooses an individual path for herself. Some rely on throwaway items, while others, on the contrary, diligently form a basic wardrobe of good-quality items, adding novelty through colors and styles. Multi-colored jeans are a great way to try something new while staying within the chosen style, but it's not always possible to combine jeans in non-traditional shades with tops, shoes and other clothing.
    We've already figured it out “Red jeans: who should wear them, when and with what? A selection of images and tips", and today it’s time for burgundy or wine-colored jeans.

    It seems that Evelina Khromchenko in one of her speeches compared red with a challenge, and burgundy with a reasoned opinion. This characteristic very subtly reveals the essence of burgundy shades. They are less aggressive and assertive than red tones, but more subdued and noble. What red emphasizes and enhances several times, for example, the brightness of gold or the unbridledness of animal prints, burgundy presents delicately and without “strain.”

    It seems that here it is, a universal and original solution for all occasions, when blue or light blue jeans are mortally boring, and the internal barrier does not allow you to flaunt in red or pale yellow ones, but no! “Danila the master’s stone flower doesn’t come out!” It’s not always possible to combine jeans in today’s current wine shade beautifully and harmoniously.

    Burgundy jeans, who should wear them?

    In general, almost anyone, although the advantage, as always, is with slender young ladies with narrow hips and long legs. Burgundy jeans, if they optically plump the figure, do so only slightly. These jeans go well with clothes in achromatic colors - black, white and gray, as well as a palette of brown, sand, beige and blue tones, if we are not talking about too dark shades of brown and blue.
    However, delicate burgundy has one not very good quality - it is inactive. If in order to break the proportions when putting together an outfit with red jeans you need to try very hard, then with burgundy jeans everything is completely different: black, as well as dark shades of gray, blue, green and brown, completely clog the inactive burgundy and visually distort proportions.

    The girl is slender, her hips are narrow, but her legs still seem a little short. It's all about the oppressive black.

    In this photo, the situation is smoothed out by the optical vertical hat-boots

    The solution seems obvious - to combine burgundy jeans with light-colored clothes and shoes, but not everything is smooth here! Such sets seem to be washed out and can be visually filling.

    Mistakes when creating looks with burgundy jeans.

    The most important mistake when combining burgundy or wine jeans with blouses, shirts, jumpers, sweatshirts, outerwear and shoes is choosing only black clothes to accompany them. Part of the logic here is clear: if burgundy belongs to the red group of colors, then it simply cannot but be combined with black! This is all true, but in practice, a figure in burgundy jeans, complemented by a black top and shoes, always looks disproportionate. This happens because the brightness or activity of burgundy is not enough to compete with black. Black seems to hang over burgundy and visually absorbs it. Looks especially disastrous where burgundy jeans are accompanied by solid black boots or ankle boots without any glimpse of bare skin on the legs and a black or dark gray/blue sweater. A black jacket or other outerwear will further enhance the picture.

    To avoid such incidents (who wants to look short-legged with a long torso?), you need to:

    Combine burgundy jeans with a top in light tones of beige, gray, blue, sand and other similar shades.

    A good technique for creating a harmonious look with burgundy jeans is layering. Multi-layering makes it possible to build color boundaries in such a way that you can correct figure flaws and elongate the silhouette.
    For example, the first layer is a light shirt or blouse, then a light gray jumper, and on top you can add a black jacket or cardigan.

    A simpler option: combine burgundy jeans with a light shirt or T-shirt and a black jacket/jacket. The trick is that there must be a light spot inside the dark spot.

    Another way to complete the vertical is to pair your burgundy jeans with a matching shirt or jumper to create a monochrome denim/top line.

    If you still choose a black jumper or shirt to go with burgundy jeans, it is better to roll up or raise the sleeves to a height of ¾ and be sure to wear either light shoes - beige, gray, then the model is not very important, or, if you only have black shoes, choose shoes with deep neckline or sandals to lighten the bottom of the bow.

    Not the best example, the top still weighs heavily, but the shoes (bare ankle) save the situation.

    In summer, black tops with short sleeves or no sleeves go harmoniously with burgundy jeans.

    If black is imminent:

    You can lighten and, as it were, lighten up the black mass of the top if you add a light scarf (gray, beige, blue, with an animal or other print) to the look.

    Several factors worked here: the girl is slender with narrow hips, the rivets on the boots lightened the bottom, a T-shirt with white lettering lightened the top + a gray scarf.

    Another slender young lady, color vertical hat/shoes and layering

    - wear a light sleeveless coat or vest over a dark jacket (still relevant today).

    - choose outerwear with light lapels that form a light spot at the top of the bow.

    - when combining burgundy jeans with black blouses, try to choose models from translucent or lace fabrics, which will also lighten the top of the look.

    Burgundy jeans, what to wear with them?

    When the principle of creating a harmonious image with burgundy jeans is clear, answer the question “what to wear with?” it won't be difficult.

    Blouses, T-shirts, tops and jumpers in beige, light grey, blue or white.

    - with jackets, jackets and coats in monochrome and beige colors.

    - with striped jumpers, cardigans and sweatshirts.

    - with light shoes if the top is dark, and dark shoes if the top is light.

    Bad option: light top and beige ballet flats

    Left: successful example, right - unsuccessful.

    Styles that go well with burgundy jeans:

    Boho and hippie, due to the abundance of burgundy shades in the palettes of ethnic patterns.
    - urban style, casual.
    - glam rock, grunge and similar styles.

To “revive” it, just add a few accessories, for example, gold jewelry, shoes or a leopard print handbag, and the outfit will immediately sparkle in a new way.

    Burgundy Pants (Jeans) + Black and White

The main thing is that the top of the set consists of these two colors. This monochrome top allows you to make burgundy trousers (or jeans) the main thing in your outfit; they will become the main accent.

    + Gray

    An emerald blouse or sweater will harmonize well with burgundy trousers or jeans; shoes can be chosen in black.

    An emerald jacket can be worn over a white or burgundy blouse.

    + Burgundy

    Interesting outfit options are obtained by combining several burgundy-colored items in one set, for example, trousers + a burgundy blouse. Items of the same shade will also look good, as well as when the trousers, for example, are a lighter shade of burgundy, and the jacket or blouse is darker.

    Modern fashion does not stand still and every day designers come up with various ideas for combining different colors. Bright burgundy jeans are becoming one of the stylish wardrobe items; what to wear with such items of clothing, how to combine them correctly with a top is a question that interests many fashionistas. A few of the most effective design tips will help every girl combine this shade in an interesting way.

    Only a true fashionista can afford to use burgundy color and its shades to create a stylish look. A rich, but at the same time dark color is not suitable for every girl, and its combination with other shades requires compliance with certain rules. Burgundy gives the image elegance, severity and elegance at the same time. Only those people who are truly confident in themselves can choose this shade.

    Another name for burgundy color is burgundy.

    Despite some peculiarities of using this shade, it can perfectly slim a girl. Therefore, if a lady has a less than perfect figure, you can hide small imperfections thanks to the burgundy color. In addition, it will help elongate your figure, which will further attract the attention of men. Do not forget that excessive use of burgundy when creating an outfit is not recommended. This combination causes a feeling of congestion and arrogance. Not only will it not add attractiveness, but it will also alienate people from the girl.

    To understand where it is better to wear burgundy jeans, it is recommended to consider several main features of this color:

    • complexity - if we consider it from a psychological point of view, this color is formed from two main shades - red and brown. Each of them imparts certain qualities to Bordeaux. For example, red gave burgundy his willpower. Therefore, a woman wearing an outfit with burgundy jeans will seem headstrong. The brown color endowed him with a penchant for deep reflection, which adds thoughtfulness and wisdom to the image;
    • relevance - burgundy color is not suitable for every woman. This shade option will be optimal for young ladies with dark skin color. If we talk about ladies with a pale complexion. So you shouldn’t refuse to use this shade in outfits. In this case, it is worth giving the burgundy color a small place: for example, in accessories, belts and other details;
    • versatility - burgundy goes well with a large number of other shades. For example, it looks great in combination with black, white and gray things. Knowing this color feature, you can choose a beautiful outfit yourself.

    The main nuances of this shade allow us to highlight a number of tones that burgundy color has. These include ruby, carmine, wine, cherry and marsala. Each of these options also has its own characteristics:

    • wine looks great in dresses for everyday use, as well as in business suits: it adds versatility and nobility to the created image;
    • cherry is distinguished by its richness: it beckons to reveal itself to the world with all the colors of burgundy, so it looks elegant in any outfit;
    • the ruby hue adds royalty to the image, because it was during the monarchy that this color was considered a sign of wealth, luxury and prosperity;
    • the carmine shade is more reminiscent of a bright red color, so its use is similar to the use of red shades in clothing;
    • Marsala - a color with this name can be described as a transition between dark burgundy and red. Marsala is widely used to create youth bows, as well as for clothing made from light fabrics such as satin and silk.

    The listed shades of burgundy can be combined with colors such as gray, white, black, beige and even yellow. A skillful combination of colors will make passers-by stop their gaze at the stylishly dressed lady.

    Which top to choose

    The most frequent survey among girls who have already purchased this item of clothing is: what to wear with burgundy jeans? According to the designers, such a wardrobe item can be combined with any top of a certain color that matches the color combination. When choosing a blouse, top or T-shirt, you should definitely pay attention to the material of the product. Since jeans are considered a universal material, any product made from light or heavy materials is suitable for them. For example, a white satin blouse will look great when combined with burgundy jeans, cream pumps and a small clutch. In this form, you can attend a social party, and replace the clutch with a handbag and go to work.

    Men's jeans can also have a burgundy tint: they are appropriate to combine with black or gray jumpers, as well as with a light-colored shirt for walking.

    A few successful examples of combining burgundy denim pants will help you create your own unique look. In addition to choosing the top, there are also recommendations for choosing shoes, accessories, and handbags in various styles:

    • office style - in order to effectively show up for work, wearing just burgundy jeans with a blouse will not be enough. Therefore, stylists suggest using a combination of burgundy pants with cream-colored blouses. A roomy leopard print bag and black platform shoes will fit perfectly here. It's good if the jeans are a little tapered and shortened. This outfit option can be worn to the office or to school. You can braid a spikelet or French braid on your head, and decorate your jeans with a stylish dark carmine strap;
    • walking - the most popular style of clothing is casual or casual, which can be used for a walk with friends. Since jeans are considered a universal wardrobe item, in this case it is appropriate to combine them with a striped jumper. It is imperative that the stripes are black and white, not blue. You can wear a white short-brimmed hat framed with a black ribbon on your head. As a handbag, you should give preference to a small red travel bag. Shoes should be high-heeled and light in color;
    • holiday - as you know, especially rejected girls, because of convenience, can wear jeans to special events. Such love will not hurt to dress up stylishly and festively. A beige short-sleeved silk blouse printed with small flowers will go perfectly with burgundy jeans. It is recommended to wear a white denim jacket with pockets over the blouse. Black and white high-heeled ankle boots will be an excellent completion of the look, and a leather sand bag will emphasize the femininity of the outfit;
    • romantic meeting - to create a romantic look and give the impression of a stylish but modest lady, it is recommended to combine burgundy women's jeans with a light gray sweater. It should be knitted, and if it’s summer outside, it should be replaced with a knitted T-shirt. On top of the jumper you can wear a short fur coat, gloves and a burgundy hat with white snowflakes. A red shoulder bag and sand-colored lace-up ankle boots will complete the look of a romantic lady.

    Burgundy jeans are suitable not only for casual looks: they are appropriate to wear on holidays, dates and even to the office - you just need to choose the right top and accessories.

    Unsuccessful combinations

    The most common mistake when creating a wardrobe in different styles is the incorrect combination of burgundy jeans with clothes of a different color. We are talking not only about inappropriate shades, but also about the combination of inappropriate materials. Despite the fact that denim material is considered universal, it is not suitable for every type of fabric.

    By following the above recommendations for combining shades, you can create looks in different styles. At the same time, do not forget that natural fabrics are more suitable for office style, and synthetic ones can be used for walking.

    The main mistake when answering the question of what to wear with burgundy jeans is the use of only black clothes. Often girls choose jumpers, sweaters, blouses and tops exclusively in black. This combination is acceptable within acceptable limits. There is no need to decorate the top of the outfit entirely in black. It would only be appropriate to emphasize this shade. For example, choose a black top with burgundy jeans, while it is better to take white accessories for the neck - this will avoid the gloominess of the outfit.

    Several of the most common mistakes of inexperienced fashionistas are presented in the table.

    Bad combination How to fix
    Brown top This combination is considered unsuccessful, because burgundy and brown are too close in color. Wearing a brown blouse with burgundy jeans is considered bad form: the image will be too gloomy. The brown blouse seems to hang over the sophisticated dark cherry color. To remedy the situation, replace the brown top with a beige or burgundy color.
    Using blue shades This combination is also considered unacceptable, since cold shades are rarely combined with warm ones. If blue is your favorite color, it is recommended to use it for accents, such as tying a neckerchief.
    Purple motifs Many young ladies believe that using purple and burgundy is an excellent combination. Designers advise abandoning this combination, replacing it with a light shade of lilac.

    To save the situation, when the image has already been invented, but is not completed, you can divert attention thanks to other details. For example, when choosing a black jumper for burgundy jeans, you should leave the length of the pants shortened to distract attention from the dark top.
