    In this master class you will be able to learn step by step the process of creating your product. As you work, you will see how to decorate a bottle with satin ribbons. In this master class with step-by-step photos, both adults and children can handle bottle decor.

    MATERIALS AND TOOLS

    For work we will need:

    • gift bottle (in this case cognac),
    • blue satin ribbon (or green, khaki), 1 cm wide,
    • black satin ribbon, 1 cm wide,
    • white satin ribbon, 5 cm wide,
    • cardboard,
    • scissors,
    • universal glue,
    • decorative stars,
    • tweezers,
    • scotch,
    • iron.

    MASTER CLASS

    Let's start making clothes for the bottle. Cut 12 cm of satin ribbon from the roll.

    Iron the corners of the satin ribbon.

    We fold the tape by 1/3 and iron it again, so it looks like “ shirt collar».

    Cut a white satin ribbon to the size of the neck and glue it to it.

    Glue the collar on top of the tape.

    We tie it from a black satin ribbon tie.

    We put a tie on the neck of the bottle.

    To ensure that the tie does not interfere with the further decoration of the bottle, you need to lift it and secure it with tape.

    We continue to make clothes for the bottle.

    Now we will decorate the bottle with a blue satin ribbon - the future jacket. Cut the tape a little larger than the neck of the bottle and glue the blue tape under the collar.

    Then we cut off the blue tape again and glue it, slightly overlapping the previous tape.

    Thus, row by row we glue the blue satin ribbon. You need to decorate about half of the bottle with blue ribbon.

    Now take a black satin ribbon and glue it to the bottle exactly horizontally.

    In this case, we will not cut the tape, but simply glue it in a circle.

    We coat the bottle with glue and tightly glue the tape to the very bottom of the bottle.

    Let's put the bottle aside and get busy shoulder straps. For this we need a blue satin ribbon, two pieces of 3 cm each.

    On one side we cut off two corners.

    Glue the stars to the tape; regular tweezers are best for this.

    We glue the shoulder straps to the bottle.

    Now let's get started cap. Cut a strip of cardboard 2 cm wide and a circle slightly larger than the diameter of the bottle cap.

    We cover a strip of cardboard with satin ribbon.

    We measure the diameter of the neck and glue the cardboard into a circle.

    We also cover the circle with satin ribbon.

    Glue the two elements together.

    Now we glue the star to the cap.

    This is the bottle we got in military uniform.

    You can give your product as a holiday gift to relatives, dad, or grandfather. Every person will be glad to receive a gift made with their own hands, because you put your soul and mood into the creation process. I wish you success and creative ideas.

    Author: Artist - Anna Sebilkova:Cognac, whiskey, rum - expensive alcoholic drinks are traditionally considered excellent gifts for men. However, in a purchased bottle, no matter how beautifully designed it is, there is no element of creativity and exclusivity... We offer a good gift idea for a man on February 23, an anniversary or New Year - do-it-yourself decoupage of a bottle of alcohol. We will also complement the decor with two-step craquelure and paper decorations.

    To decoupage a bottle of alcohol we will need the following materials:

    Decoupage varnish (glue);

    Shellac finishing varnish (alcohol clarified);

    Aging varnish (bitumen);

    Craquelure varnish;

    Thinner No. 4 (Pinene);

    Acrylic primer;

    Acrylic Art paints: Kaput Mortuum, Neapolitan Yellow, Titanium White;

    Decorative “Decolor” Old Copper;

    Rice paper for decoupage;

    Decorative elements;

    Synthetic hobby brushes;

    Decorative waxed cord, palette, foam sponge.

    Step 1. Preparation.

    The bottle should be cleaned of all labels and glue. Soak the vessel for a while, then peel off, scrape off, and wipe off all wet labels.

    After this, we cover the bottle with a layer of acrylic primer. To do this, use a piece of dish sponge. For convenience, you can grab it with a clothespin. Using jerky tamping movements we achieve a dense layer of soil. Apply two or three layers. This is especially important in the area designed for the decoupage card - in this case, it is the entire front side of the bottle.

    We will use decoupage card on rice paper.

    We try on the part of the image we need on the bottle.

    We trace the contours of the bottle with a simple pencil on the back of the rice paper.

    Carefully tear out the required fragment.

    If the image is large and the bottle has curves, feel free to tear it into several parts to avoid unpleasant folds when the card bends to the shape of the bottle.

    Now soak the paper in water for a few minutes.

    At this time, coat the area of the bottle under the image with decoupage glue varnish.

    We take the card out of the water, let the excess water drain and attach the image to the bottle.

    Smooth out the folds.

    And again coat the top with varnish.

    Carefully glue the additional torn out fragments, joining them with the main image.

    Smoothing out the wrinkles...

    We also cover small pieces of napkins with decoupage varnish and leave the bottle to dry.

    Step 3. Background.

    Place 3 colors on a plastic plate. Neapolitan yellow, Kaput mortuum and titanium white.

    We put paint on a sponge and begin to stamp on the white background.

    We spread the paint with a sponge, adding more Neapolitan Yellow or Kaput Mortuum. Let's dry it.

    Don't forget about coloring the bottom of the bottle.

    Step 4. Craquelure.

    First, apply four layers of shellac varnish. (The more layers of shellac varnish, the larger the resulting cracks). Drying of each layer of varnish is about 15 minutes.

    Afterwards, all that remains is to wipe the cracks with bitumen varnish.

    To do this, you need to apply bitumen and wipe off the excess.

    To smooth out the sharp transition, lightly tamp the sides of the bottle with bitumen varnish. Leave to dry again.

    Step 5. Varnishing.

    We cover the entire bottle with a layer of shellac varnish.

    Step 6. Additions.

    We cut out tags that match the theme from scrapbooking paper.

    We make holes with eyelets.

    Starting from the neck of the bottle, we wind a waxed cord, string tags on it and beautifully complete the composition. The result is a sincere gift for a loved one or a stylish present for a business partner.

    Men, as you know, are the stronger sex, not without their little weaknesses. And they love receiving gifts no less than us girls. Therefore, on the eve of the main men's holiday on February 23, each of us thinks about the question of choosing a suitable gift. After all, you want to give not just a present, but something original, exclusive and useful. No man would refuse to receive a bottle of elite alcohol (for example, whiskey or cognac) as a gift. But he will be doubly pleased if you decorate this gift in an original way with your own hands, because a piece of your soul will be put into the handmade product! How to design a bottle will be discussed in this article.

    A beautifully designed bottle will be an excellent gift for your beloved man or work colleague.

    There are many decoration options. We will look at the following:

    1. Bottle decor for February 23rd in leather.
    2. Decorating a gift bottle for February 23 with ribbons.
    3. Decoupage bottles for men.
    4. As a bonus: a castle with a “window” using the decoupage technique.

    A bottle decorated with leather looks very original and elegant. The design process is not complicated, but it is better to prepare the gift in advance, since the product will take time to dry.

    It is not at all necessary to use genuine leather for decoration; an artificial substitute also looks good

    After removing all labels from the bottle, degrease it with alcohol. Then we apply glue to the bottle and the skin, glue the skin so that a beautiful relief and folds are formed on it. It is better to choose natural, fairly thin leather. “Moment” is suitable as glue.

    The skin quickly absorbs the glue, so we quickly apply the pieces to the glass, simultaneously stretching and fastening the ends

    At the same time, you can attach elements of thematic decor to the skin: stars, laces, at your discretion. Decorate the cork using the same principle, adding stars or decorative cord.

    A decorative element is attached to the center of the composition

    You can leave a free space on the front side of the bottle, apply putty on it and leave everything to dry for several hours, or better yet, overnight. When the putty dries, we make an inscription on it with words of congratulations, scratching the text with some sharp object.

    We also use leather to decorate the cork.

    The entire bottle is then painted with dark green or brown paint. As soon as painting is completed, wipe the bottle with a cotton swab soaked in solvent so that the paint remains only in the folds of the skin. You can also add a little shine to our bottle by using gold paint, applying it in a light layer into the folds of the skin. All you have to do is wait for the entire composition to dry and you can present it to the recipient!

    Even without painting, this bottle looks very beautiful and stylish.

    Decorating a gift bottle for February 23 with ribbons

    Decorating a bottle with ribbons is very popular today. If you approach the matter creatively and with imagination, you may end up with not just a beautiful thing, but a real designer gift for your man. So let's get started!

    Flattened bottles are better suited for this decor option.

    To decorate the bottle, use ribbons 2.5 cm wide in white, black, green. Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the sides of the bottle. Start decorating the bottle with white ribbon to imitate a collar. We move from the neck to the bottom. Glue small pieces of tape in the shape of a triangle, pressing the ends to the tape so that they do not intersect. We glue each new piece of tape slightly lower, parallel to the previous one.

    The process of decorating a bottle with ribbons does not require special abilities

    Having reached the “shoulders”, we begin to wrap the bottle horizontally with a khaki-colored ribbon - this will be our jacket. When half of the bottle is covered, you need to change the color of the bias tape to black to imitate trousers (you can use ribbons 3 cm wide).

    We complement our souvenir with decorative details of the “military uniform”: stars, shoulder straps, belt - at your discretion. Place a “tie” made of black ribbon 0.5 cm wide on the neck of the bottle. The cork can be decorated with a “cap” cut out of cardboard and covered with fabric or ribbons of the desired color.

    Shoulder straps can be easily made from cardboard by covering the blanks with a suitable fabric

    For a cap, you can use scraps of thick fabric

    Decoupage bottles for men

    To decoupage a “man’s” bottle, you should use images of the appropriate theme and color scheme: cars, hunting, sailboats, travel, weapons... Choose a design theme based on the interests and hobbies of your man. The materials are also varied: napkins, rice paper, fabric, clay. Shells, laces, stars and much more are used as additional accessories.

    Materials for decoupage bottles

    Before starting work, you need to remove all stickers and labels from the bottle, and also degrease the surface of the vessel using glass detergent.

    Thoroughly degrease the glass surface

    Then we paint the bottle tightly with acrylic primer. This can be done in several layers.

    It is more convenient to prime with a piece of sponge clamped in a clothespin

    When the soil is dry, try on the image on the bottle

    We trace the contours with a pencil on the back of the paper

    We lower the paper, napkin or fabric with the image we need into water for one to two minutes.

    Soak the paper in water

    In the meantime, treat the bottle with glue varnish.

    Using a brush, apply decoupage varnish to the area of the bottle under the image.

    We take the image out of the water and wait for the excess liquid to drain. After this, apply it to the surface of the bottle. We do this carefully so that folds do not form.

    Carefully smooth out the wrinkles

    We again treat the surface of the bottle with varnish. If there are separate torn out pieces of the image, carefully join them with the main fragment and also treat it with varnish.

    Carefully glue the missing fragments of the picture

    You can complement the decor with bronze or golden pigment, as well as tags that match the theme.

    The part of the bottle where there is no picture is covered with beautiful paint.

    After the paint has dried, cover the entire bottle with a thin layer of bitumen varnish.

    We prepare suitable tags

    Attach the tags to the neck using laces

    As a result, we get a beautiful and stylish gift

    Castle with a “window” using decoupage technique

    Another handmade gift option is a bottle lock. This gift looks very original, and the process of making it will not take much time.

    You should start decorating the bottle by removing all stickers and labels. Degrease the glass surface with alcohol or detergent.

    First, we prepare a window for our castle: we cut out a frame from cardboard and glue it to the bottle. On the wall opposite the window, you need to perform “reverse decoupage”: glue a suitable pattern with the image inside the bottle.

    Bottle with a cardboard frame and a picture glued to the back

    Cut out bricks from cardboard and glue them onto the bottle

    To create texture, we treat the castle walls with glue and sprinkle with semolina, and fix everything with hairspray. After drying, we treat the walls with a mixture of paint of a suitable color and PVA glue.

    To decorate the neck, you can take stockings, glue them with PVA glue and cover them with paints

    Any options are suitable for roof decoration: covering with fabric, leather or salt dough. Polymer clay will also work. Don't forget to paint the roof to match the castle walls or a little darker.

    You can color this bottle to your liking.

    As you can see, there are many options for decorating a bottle with your own hands as a gift for February 23rd. Use your imagination and you will succeed!

    The art of gift making is actively developing, thanks to individual enthusiasts with high aesthetic demands and excellent taste. They often share their masterpieces in photos and master classes in videos on the Internet.

    At first glance, it seems that such a design can only be done by an experienced needlewoman. There's really nothing complicated here

    There are many interesting ideas on how to decorate a bottle of cognac with your own hands for a man’s birthday or February 23rd. It is not necessary to completely copy this or that sample step by step if you want to do something similar. Use your imagination and work in the technique that seems most interesting and accessible.

    What to give to a dear person or an accomplished man who needs nothing? The designer decoration of a bottle of cognac as a gift for a man is often the only way to surprise a wealthy man who has everything with his inimitable gift.

    A good cognac will be an excellent present for a birthday or for February 23rd, if the bottle is beautifully packaged

    People whose imagination is limitless do not need to be prompted with good ideas - there are much more of them than the possibilities for their implementation. For most people who like to make something, they need ready-made examples for inspiration, with detailed descriptions and photos of how to do it step by step. Experienced craftsmen do everything in their own way, only after taking a quick glance at the finished result, as in the photo of the design of a bottle of cognac with a candy bouquet.

    Bouquet with alcohol for a man

    For some, multi-layered “packaging” with many elements will seem too complicated. Then you can simply cover the bottom layer by layer of a round cognac bottle placed on a circle of foam plastic, wrapping it in candies or copied banknotes.

    Bag for bottles with glasses

    The theme of the design may vary, depending on the hobby of its future owner. Fans of sea travel, fishing and aquariums will certainly appreciate decoupage with fish, shells, starfish on the theme of a sea pirate. After a birthday celebration, such glass containers can claim a worthy position in interior decor.

    This bottle is covered with everything that was at hand

    A popular theme is the personification of wealth in any form. It could be a mossy bottle from the bottom of the sea, filled with souvenir coins, on which lightning suddenly came apart. A bottle of cognac, symbolizing wealth, is best presented together with other attributes on the same theme, including figurines and chests, bills and coins.

    To imitate a pirate bottle filled with money, you will need napkins, a zipper, coins, glue and paint.

    When starting to design a bottle of cognac for a man, be patient and have available materials and tools.

    1. Knife and scissors with sharp ends For cutting materials.
    2. Ruler, pencil and square For marking templates.
    3. Satin ribbon of the required color Decorate the neckline.
    4. Dark bias tape For wrapping a cognac bottle to match the color of the jacket.
    5. Polyethylene and thin thick cardboard, threads Form the base of the jacket; polyethylene will protect the cognac from glue.
    6. Thematic fittings and decorative elements Select based on similarity to the insignia of the military branches.
    7. Glue, needle and thread For fixation.
    8. The basis A bottle of good cognac or other strong drink.

    Sleeves of unwanted shirts or sweaters can also be turned into gift wrapping

    A little time - and an exclusive gift will be ready for your loved one’s birthday, which will be able to amaze the most discerning company.

    Decoration of a bottle of cognac in a tunic

    The military theme of a bottle with an elite drink will seem interesting to many, no matter whether it contains cognac, rum or whiskey. The main thing is the shape of the glass container, which can easily be shaped into the shape of a man’s torso. To do this, you need a flattened bottle with “shoulders” and a low neck, of which there are quite a few on supermarket shelves.

    A flattened bottle is better suited for decoration

    Decorating such bottles seems most interesting to beginners, since it is easier to imagine the end result - a uniform and cap, as in the photo.

    An example of designing a bottle of cognac in the form of a jacket

    With the help of such a gift it is easy to imitate any ceremonial uniform:

    • military man;
    • sailor;
    • Ministry of Emergency Situations;
    • policeman;
    • departmental security officer, etc.

    The idea is simple - wrap the bottle with ribbons, but you need to do it beautifully

    If you carefully consider the proposed sample, it is obvious that many fragments are easy to vary, making the main elements with your own hands:

    • jacket;
    • shirt collar;
    • tie;
    • cap;
    • shoulder straps;
    • marks of Excellence.

    Important! Let us remind you that the accuracy of work and the integrity of gift wrapping depends on many factors, including experience in needlework, good tools and means for fixing.

    Before decorating a bottle of cognac with your own hands, prepare
    materials and tools:

    • polyethylene;
    • thin and thick cardboard;
    • satin ribbon of the required color;
    • bias tape (for wrapping);
    • brushes and foam sponges for painting;
    • themed accessories (buttons, stars for shoulder straps);
    • twisted silk thread (for fixing internal elements);
    • sharp knife and scissors with sharp ends;
    • pencil and square for marking;
    • a bottle of good cognac (another strong drink).

    The main material is satin ribbon

    We do it step by step.

    1. Wrap a bottle of cognac in a bag, secure with thread and loosely pack it in a cardboard base and make hangers. Cover the open fragments with pieces of cardboard to suit their size. To make it easier to fix the rounded parts, it is better to decorate the edges with teeth.

      Trying on a white ribbon on a collar

    2. We work with ribbons - the white collar imitates silk satin. The second section goes as the chest part under the jacket. We form a tie from a black ribbon of smaller width and carefully fasten it under the collar.

      It is convenient to use a hot glue gun to secure the tapes

    3. We form a black jacket, starting by wrapping it with bias tape in the neck area, carefully gluing it. After the top is formed, it is better to remove the bag from below. We form the jacket with tape to the very bottom.

      It is important to wrap the bottle tightly

    4. We form shoulder straps and select accessories for the insignia of the military branch, we make a breast badge, a medal from a brocade ribbon.

      Shoulder straps can be made from suitable pieces of ribbon

    5. We design the lapels of the jacket and the fastener, under which it is easy to hide the joints and trimmings of the tape. We fix the medal, badge and buttons.

      Choose the number of buttons at your discretion

    6. Let's move on to decorating the cap from ribbon and cardboard. It is more convenient to fix the visor after cutting the section for fixation with teeth. It can be immediately made from black cardboard or covered with tape. Next, from 2 circles of the required diameter we form a cap, as in the photo.

      For a cap, scraps of thick fabric are suitable

    7. After wrapping it with ribbon, we decorate it with insignia. You can donate!

      This is how the bottle turned out

    Advice. To prevent the edge of the tape from fraying, it is better to make a hot cut with heated scissors (use work gloves) or a soldering iron. You can go along the edge with a brush with transparent silicone glue.

    Gift bouquet with cognac and sweets

    Not long ago, bouquets of sweets and banknotes (or their imitation, printed on a photocopier) came into fashion, and so many interesting ideas have already appeared. Let's consider the most complex manufacturing option - with paper flowers and money symbols, as a hint of wishes for success and prosperity. This is just one of the options on how to beautifully decorate a bottle of cognac with your own hands for a man’s birthday.

    The decor and content of the composition can be different, it all depends on your imagination

    You can decorate the list of elements as you wish, but for the proposed composition you will need:

    • a bottle of cognac of your favorite brand;
    • crepe or crinkled paper of different shades;
    • Styrofoam;
    • glue gun;
    • stationery knife;
    • Double-sided tape;
    • floral ribbons 30 mm and 50 mm;
    • souvenir money;
    • euro and dollar templates;
    • sweets in golden and colored wrappers;
    • chocolate coins in foil;
    • bamboo sticks or toothpicks;
    • glue gun or “liquid nails”;
    • pencil, ruler (square) and scissors;
    • twisted silk thread for fixation;
    • A4 cardboard;
    • decorative twine.

    Multi-colored crumpled paper is best for flower petals.

    The volume of packaging and the amount of materials for decoration vary according to the design of the volume of a bottle of cognac for a man.

    Execution step by step.

    1. Cut out the foam circles in steps and wrap them in crumpled paper to form the base for the gift wrap. The ends of the foam and the hole for the bottle are beautifully decorated as a wavy ruffle.

      We determine the height of the stand as we work: insert the bottle into the cut hole and make sure it is stable. If necessary, add more circles

    2. We lay out the candies not very tightly so that they can be wrapped in paper flowers and placed on the finished base.
    3. We cut petals from crumpled paper of different shades; thick dark green wrapping paper or fabric will be used for the petioles.

      First, cut rectangles approximately 40x70 mm, then use scissors to shape the petals

    4. We form candy flowers in petals, at least 15-17, as shown in the photo.

      The more petals you attach, the more magnificent the roses will look.

    5. We move on to making banknotes based on cardboard; they should be attached to bamboo sticks or toothpicks.

      For money symbols you need thick cardboard and souvenir money

    6. We form a ready-made bouquet of candy flowers, chocolate coins, souvenir money and photocopies of banknotes. We wrap the bottom platform with a beautiful ribbon and tie it with a bow, you can insert a card with best wishes and an envelope with real bills. The souvenir bouquet is ready for giving!

      The composition is ready, you can congratulate the man on the holiday!

    A gift made with your own hands is always better than a “duty” souvenir. It doesn’t matter whether it’s decorating a bottle of cognac for a man with ribbons, chocolates or paper, the main thing is an interesting idea. We invite you to choose something most suitable for your dearest person in our photo gallery.

    Video: decorating a bottle of cognac using decoupage technique

    Have you already decided how you will congratulate your man on February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day? We offer an excellent master class on decoupage bottles of cognac, rum or vodka for February 23rd.

    A favorite alcoholic drink is always purchased for the holiday table. So why not decorate it according to the holiday.

    To decoupage a bottle by February 23 you will need:

    Bottle of alcoholic drink (vodka, cognac, rum);

    A means to degrease the surface of the bottle (window cleaner);

    White acrylic paint as a primer + foam sponge (for washing dishes);

    Napkin for decoupage with a suitable pattern;

    PVA glue, hairspray, decoupage glue;

    Acrylic paint (burnt umber, olive, cream, black);

    Black acrylic contour, glitter;

    Panel varnish.

    Take a bottle of alcoholic drink and remove the paper label from it.

    Before decoupaging the bottle, you need to degrease the surface of the glass with any means suitable for this purpose. Then start priming, for which cut a small piece from the foam sponge and apply white acrylic paint to the glass using wetting movements (Figure 2). You should apply at least two coats of paint, allowing each layer to dry.

    Prepare an image that will be glued to the bottle. In this case, a greeting card was downloaded from the Internet and printed on a laser printer. This image is printed on a napkin (Fig. 3).

    This should be done as follows: take a regular sheet of paper and attach a white layer of colored napkin to it, fold the edges and glue them with PVA glue on the back side of the sheet. Print on the front side, then tear off the paper.

    For best gluing, spray with hairspray and cut out a fragment from a napkin (Fig. 4).

    Try the cut out fragment with the pattern on the surface of the bottle. It is advisable to adjust the size of the drawing so that there is as little excess as possible (Fig. 5).

    Glue it with decoupage glue. A napkin sprinkled with varnish will not get wet and will lie well without wrinkles (you just need to generously soak it with glue) (Fig. 6).

    Wait until the glue is completely dry. And prepare for painting (Figure 7).

    Pour acrylic paint of the previously described colors onto a disposable plate (Figure 8-9)

    Lightly mix the paints and start painting, as if continuing the image. Apply paint over the printed image to hide the color transition (Figure 10).
