    Progress of the lesson:

Introductory part: Letter from brownie Kuzi.

Educator: Guys, this morning the postman brought a letter from our friend Kuzi the brownie, let's read it.

    Letter:

    Dear Guys!

Writes to you, little brownie Kuzya! I am a little fairy-tale man. I am very small, no bigger than a doll. I live in a village. It's very beautiful here. There is a river, a lake, fields and forests.

Once I heard it said on the radio that there are large seas and oceans in the world and marine animals and marine life live there. So I'd like to see and learn more about them.

Help me please draw them. Send your drawings to me at this address. Address on the envelope.

Educator: Guys, can we help Kuza?

    Children: Yes.

Educator: In order to help Kuza, we need to go on a journey through underwater world.

Can you swim? Well, it’s okay that not all of you can swim. We won't have to dive ourselves. And of course we won’t have time to get to know all the sea inhabitants. While we travel, we will get acquainted with the magical properties of wax pencils and watercolors.

    Main part

Educator: And now please sit down in the empty seats of our submarine, submarines.

(On the screen there are photographs of sea inhabitants: starfish, sea anemone, seahorse, electric stingray, dolphins, jellyfish, algae).

Educator: The depths of the ocean hold many secrets. Scientists discover hundreds of new marine animals and plants every year. But we will certainly get to know and meet the most interesting ones. Look how mysterious they all are. There are starfish, sea anemones, seahorses, electric stingrays, dolphins, and jellyfish.

    Physical education for a minute:

    The fish splashed happily

    In clean, fresh water.

    They will bend and unbend.

They will bury themselves in the sand.

    We squat so many times

How many fish do we have here?

How many seagulls do we have here?

    We'll jump that many times.

    2-3 slide (starfish shot)

At the bottom of the sea star lies

    Not moving - probably sleeping.

That star has five arms -

A star can eat with its hands.

And for her a crustacean, a shrimp -

It's like candy for the guys!

4-5 slide (shot of a seahorse)

With your tail wrapped around a blade of grass,

Not beyond the edge, beyond the middle,

    For a coral stump,

The horse wants to sit in the water,

    But it doesn't work:

    Everything in the water sways.

    6-7 slide (frame of dolphins)

    Everyone knows about dolphins -

There are no more interesting animals:

    Sharp mind, dexterous movements,

    And easy to train.

8-9 slide (shot of an electric ramp)

In the sea they call it a stingray

    All by His Majesty.

    Well, and those who forget,

    He hits with electricity!

Educator: Guys, look at these strange saucers with crosses. What could it be?

(frames with different types of jellyfish change)

Educator: Yes, these are some kind of floating mushrooms. They themselves are transparent and similar to vintage kerosene lamps. How do you figure out what it is?

Yes, that's right, these are jellyfish. (jellyfish shot)

    Under the water

    In transparent blouses

    Jellyfish swim important.

    Slowly, leisurely,

    To look beautiful.

    These are the fashionistas

    Fashionistas - submariners.

Yes, these are jellyfish - mysterious and incredibly beautiful inhabitants of the seas and oceans of our planet. Free-swimming marine organisms with a gelatinous, round body. They come in different sizes, from the smallest to the largest, which reach 2.5 meters. Tentacles extend from the edges of the body, the length of which sometimes reaches 30 meters. It is not advisable to catch jellyfish, as you can get severely burned. If we don't swim up and touch the jellyfish, they are not dangerous. Jellyfish swim calmly in the water column. Jellyfish are of great benefit; they filter and purify sea water. They are often used in medicine. They help fight stress. In Japan, jellyfish are bred in aquariums. The smooth, leisurely movements of jellyfish calm people. They are also used for making salads, jellyfish cut into thin strips, mixed with vegetables, herbs and poured over the sauce. They have lived in the world's oceans for more than 600 million years. They are representatives of the most ancient life forms on earth. And they have hardly changed during this time.

During a storm, 1000 jellyfish end up on the shore, lie in the sun and melt like jellied meat.

What do jellyfish look like? (on open umbrellas, bells, lanterns, lamps, etc.)

What shape are they (triangle, semicircle).

What color are jellyfish? (pale blue, orange, pink, purple)

    Physical education for a minute:

    Transparent blue umbrellas float

Swaying gently, they lead their round dance!

Now sinking low, now rising up,

They sparkle in the sun and make us all happy!

Educator: Guys at our table lie: a sheet of paper, wax pencils and watercolors. Brownie Kuzya asked us to draw for him underwater inhabitants. Shall we draw?

    What animals will we draw?

What will your jellyfish be like?

What color pencil will you use to color the jellyfish?

What color of watercolor paint will you choose?

(children paint jellyfish with a wax pencil and then paint over them with watercolor paint).

    Final part

(drawings are hung on the board)

Educator: Guys, look at what wonderful, simply magnificent drawings you have made. What mood were you in when you were drawing, and when you saw your drawings with jellyfish? What are your jellyfish doing?

Well, guys, it's time to go back, the journey is coming to an end. Our submarine will take us all the way home. (music sounds).

Today we learned a lot of new things. What do you remember most about our trip? What did you like most?

We will definitely travel with you again and again. In the meantime, it's time to say goodbye to our new friends.

    Goodbye!

    Equipment:

Audio recording (sea noise), imitation of the sea, magnetic board, image of fish, models of sea creatures, cones, fishing rod, fish puzzles, easel.

    Progress of the lesson

The teacher plays an audio recording with the sounds of the sea - splashing waves, surf, children entering the hall.

Educator: - Guys, listen. What do you hear?

Children's answers: the sound of the sea, the waves splashing on the shore...

Educator: - That's right, it's the sound of the sea. The waves splash on the shore, hitting the rocks...

Educator: - Oh, please tell me, what can you use to travel by sea?

Children's answers: on a ship, on a yacht, on a boat...

Educator: - That's right, people can travel by sea on a ship, boat, sailboat, yacht, steamship, motor ship, cutter.

Educator: - Guys, would you like to take a trip to the bottom of the sea? But not just anything, but into the very depths of the blue sea?

Children's answers: - Yes! We want!

Educator: - Let us now sit in the boats and sail on a journey through the waves.

    Game: "Boats".

    Game description:

I’ll press my two palms and swim across the sea.

Two palms, friends, this is my boat.

I will raise my sails and sail across the blue sea.

And fish swim here and there on the stormy waves.

Children press both palms together without connecting their thumbs. Imitates the movement of a boat.

Children, to the sound of music, swim to the “sea” (walking like a snake between supports on which sea creatures are depicted).

Children approach the “sea”, where marine life is located (there is an imitation of the sea on the floor).

    Children sit around the “sea”.

Educator: - Guys, you and I found ourselves in the underwater world. Let's see who lives here?

(discussion of marine life, showing visual material).

Educator: - And now, let each of you become a sea dweller.

    Outdoor game “Find your house”

    Game description:

Learn to find your house, run without touching each other. Perform actions when signaled.

Educator: - Well done, you did it!

Educator: - Guys, look, what is this? (they find the chest). I wonder what's inside? And to find out, you need to solve the riddle.

    Making a riddle:

She lives in the water - she has no beak, but she pecks.

Its clean silver back shines in the river.

Educator: - Now let's see if you guessed correctly. (The teacher takes out a fish figurine).

Educator: - Let's take a close look at her. Here is a fish's body - elongated, long, with a head in front and a tail behind. The fish always has a back on top and a belly on the bottom. There are fins on the back, belly and tail.

    Why do fish need fins?

    Children's answers: swim...

To move. And the caudal fin is the main organ of movement; it acts as a rudder, especially during sharp turns.

The fish has eyes on its head. Why do we need eyes?

    Children's answers: to see.

Right to see. The fish sees everything around it with its eyes, just like you and me. What else is there on the fish’s head?

    Children's answers: mouth.

    Educator: That's right.

Why does a fish need a mouth?

    Children's answers: To eat.

Fish also have gills with which they breathe.

Fish swim very fast and even sharks find it difficult to catch them.

Educator: - would you like to turn into a shark and try to catch a fish?

Let's play the game "catch the fish" now.

    Outdoor game “Catch a fish”

    Game description:

The players stand in a circle, at arm's length, facing the center.

The teacher is in the middle of the circle. He holds in his hands a fishing rod (1-1.5 m long) with a fish tied on a cord (0.5 m long). The teacher circles the fishing rod (circles the fish) slightly above the heads of the players. When the fish flies overhead, the children jump up and down, trying to catch it. The one who grabs the fish says: “I caught it.” You can only catch fish with both hands and jumping on two legs

    Well done, you did it!

Educator: - While you were fishing, other sea inhabitants swam away from you. And in order to find out who you missed, you need to divide into two groups and assemble a whole image from the pieces.

    Didactic game “Collect a fish.”

    Game description:

It is necessary to correctly assemble the whole image of the fish from individual pieces.

    Well done!

Educator: - find treasure in a sunken ship (get coins).

Phys. hands: - our journey has come to an end, it’s time for us to return to kindergarten. Let's get our boats ready and sail back (snake walking).

Did you enjoy the trip? Where did we travel? Who did you meet along the way? What did you like?

    Introduction

On modern Earth, four environments of life are clearly distinguished - aquatic, land-air, soil and living organisms. Water became the first medium of life. It was in it that life arose, which then spread to the ground-air environment. The aquatic environment is rivers, streams (watercourses), oceans, seas, reservoirs, ponds, lakes, swamps (reservoirs).

Scientists, being observant and inquisitive people, have long noticed a peculiarity in the distribution of aquatic animals at different depths. They found that animals living nearby, although they are not relatives, have similar features in both body structure and lifestyle. To understand how this happened, you need to imagine a reservoir in the form of a two-story house inhabited by aquatic inhabitants. The bottom will be the first floor, the thickness of the bottom soil will be the basement, the water mass will be the second floor, and the surface film will be the roof (water mirror) and the attic (under the mirror).

Each floor of this house has its own special living conditions, its own characteristic properties. So, on the first floor there is little light and oxygen, but there is water all around, there is reliable support under your feet, there is no wind, and there are no strong temperature changes. There is a lot of light and air with oxygen to breathe on the roof, but at the same time it is cold at night, hot during the day, the wind blows, and there is water only under your feet. On the second floor there is more oxygen and light than on the first, but incomparably less than on the roof, and there is not even such a support as a film of water tension.

In order to live and survive on a particular floor, its residents had to adapt to the conditions existing there. And as a result of a long process of adaptation (i.e. adaptation) to a particular habitat, organisms that were very distant in origin developed similar features in structure, life cycles and behavior. Based on these similarities, scientists grouped animals into groups and gave each their own name. Let's look at what is typical for some organisms.

Target: Expand and enrich children's horizons about aquatic inhabitants and their overview of life.

    Tasks:

Educational : Form ideas about the underwater world and its inhabitants. Learn to recognize aquatic life

Developmental: Develop cognitive interest, speech, memory, thinking.

Educational: Cultivate a caring attitude towards nature, teach to show friendliness, a sense of responsibility in collective work and feelings.

    Methodological material

To conduct this lesson, it is necessary to create a certain atmosphere - an atmosphere of mystery. After all, water hides great secrets.

    Equipment:

      Computer, screen, projector.

      Presentation "Underwater World".

      Phonograms of songs.

      Puzzle cards.

      Task cards.

      Exhibition of applications.

      Map of the hemispheres.

    PROPS

    1. A chest tied with multi-colored ribbons.

    2. Matches.

    3. Seafood (prizes for winners)

    Main part

    2.1 Organizational moment

Teacher: Hello guys! Today in class we will learn a lot of interesting and educational things. First, let's see how prepared you are for this. There are cards of different colors on the tables in front of you. Please think about what mood you came to class in today? Now choose a card that matches your mood (red card - good mood, blue - sad, yellow - normal). Children choose cards and show them to the teacher.

Teacher: We are all different swamis, so we all have different moods. Let's try to keep it that way for those who are in a good mood, and let's try to lift it up for those who are in a sad mood.

    Conversation:

    2.2Underwater world

    Have you heard about water?

    They say she is everywhere!

In a puddle, in the sea, in the ocean

    And in the water tap

    Like an icicle freezes

A mist creeps into the forest,

    It's boiling on the stove,

The steam of the kettle hisses,

We can't wash ourselves without it,

    Don't eat or drink!

I dare to report to you,

    We can't live without her!!!

So the topic of our lesson today is called -Undersea world.

During the lesson we will learn what the underwater world is, what its inhabitants are like and how they live in the water kingdom.

Let's close our eyes now. What do we see? Darkness, and before there was nothing but darkness, and so it was until a blue sparkling ball appeared. This is our Earth! Open your eyes. Let us look at the map, who can tell me what is shown in blue on the map? (Children's answers).

That's right, all we see is water:

If you look at a map of the Earth,

There is only one third of the earth on Earth.

But a strange question arises then?

The planet should be called water!

But it turns out to be an underwater, there is also land and this land is an underwater bottom.

But water also turns out to be different... There are huge oceans, large seas, rivers and small streams, but what does the water hide underneath? And the water hides its inhabitants within itself. The most numerous are fish.

Did you know that fish appeared during the time of dinosaurs?

And in those distant times, fish had a hard shell. But since then the world has changed a lot, and the fish have changed along with it. Nowadays, the body of many fish is covered with scales.

Do you know why fish need scales?

The body of fish is soft and requires hard scales to protect it! In fact, scales are part of a fish's skin. The scales slide freely over each other, so the fish can move.

Did you know that fish have ears?

Do you know why fish need a tail?

And their tail serves as a rudder. In order to gain speed and swim in the right direction, the tail helps the fish, and fish have fins instead of arms and legs.

    Do fish sleep?

Yes, fish sleep too. Have you ever seen a goldfish lying calmly at the bottom of an aquarium? She is sleeping, although her eyes are open. Fish do not have eyelids, so they never close their eyes. Goldfish sleep at night. But some fish sleep during the day and hunt at night.

But, however, although fish have a lot in common, all fish are very different from each other. Their habits and habits are influenced by the place in which they live. So, let's figure out where fish live. To do this, I invite two children to come out to me and try water from two glasses and say whether this water is similar to each other (the children are offered two glasses of water: in one it is fresh, in the other it is salty). Children's answers.

Just as water differs in glasses, so it differs in water pools.

So, our first body of water, in which we will consider its inhabitants.... it will be a body of fresh water... and we will now guess its name!

It flows, it flows, it won’t flow,He runs, he runs, but he won’t run out.(River)

Let's meet the inhabitants of the rivers

    1. She is the most dangerous in the river,Cunning, gluttonous, strong,Besides, she’s so mean!Of course this is...

Pike – Pike has an elongated body and a long head with a wide mouth. The pike has very sharp teeth in its mouth. After all, pike is a predator. Pike hunts in algae. In color, pike is dark green, so algae hide it well. Pike feed on fish, but pike choose sick and wounded fish. That's why she is called the river nurse. Pike do not like to swim, so they live in calm bodies of water where the water is inactive. Pike are long-lived and sometimes live up to 100 years.

    2. Lives in a river pool,He has a huge mouthHave you heard of this?Well of course it is

Som is a large freshwater fish. Adult fish weigh up to 100 kg. And they reach a length of up to 3m. The catfish has an elongated body, a large mouth with sharp teeth, two long antennae on the upper jaw and two on the lower jaw. With the help of their whiskers, these fish look for food. Having touched something with its whiskers, the fish immediately determines whether it is edible or not. Catfish is a fish that has no scales, its body is covered with mucus. Catfish loves warm, quiet water. During the day they sleep, and at dusk they become active. They eat catfish, frogs, caviar, and dead fish. Catfish live up to 40 years. In winter, the catfish sinks to the bottom and goes into hibernation.

    3 .He is cheerful, young

    With golden scales.

crucian carp – fishermen call this fish “humpback”. Her back is humped, her body is tightly compressed on the sides, her back is brown, and her sides are yellow. Crucian carp love to live in quiet, shallow pools, where there is a lot of grass and algae. Crucian carp is an unpretentious fish, so it can live in muddy, still water. If the summer is dry, then crucian carp bury themselves in the mud and wait for rain. What do these fish eat? They eat leaves and stems of algae, and can also snack on small animals (beetles and larvae). In winter, crucian carp burrow into the mud and fall asleep until spring.

These are the creatures that live in our rivers.

Now let's go to the salty pond.

    Here you can't look

    Watery, blue space

In it the wave rises like a wall,

    White crest above the wave

And sometimes it’s quiet and calm,

Was everyone able to recognize him? (Sea)

And who lives in our sea?..

    4. Playing and frolicking againIn front of the bow of the ship.Backs flash above the water, -The nimble ones rush...

Dolphin - Slender, with a long beak; The color of the back and all fins is dark, almost black, the belly is white, they belong to the family of toothed whales. The body length of dolphins depends on the genus (from 1 to 10 m), weight is 200-300 kg. These are mammals that breathe through their lungs, but can stay in water for a long time. At different intervals they rise to the surface of the sea to take in air. Dolphins feed on fish and squid; dolphins hold such mobile prey with strong jaws with a large number of sharp teeth. Dolphins sleep underwater, usually at night, and during the day only after feeding. They feed their young with milk.

5 .A block shot up above the water

This is a very angry fish.

    Showed off her fin

    And again she disappeared instantly.

Shark is a large marine predator. The shark has a powerful long body (from 5 to 12 m). The back is dark and the belly is white. Huge, scary mouth, big sharp teeth. A shark's teeth are constantly renewed; if a shark breaks a tooth, a new one grows in its place. Sharks swim, bending their body in waves. These fish cannot live without moving; without movement they suffocate. Sharks sleep in fits and starts, swimming slowly with their tails moving. Sharks feed on fish, plankton and other sea inhabitants. Most sharks are peaceful and do not attack people, but there are also cannibals - the great white shark.

6 Looks like a fish, looks like not -
Sends greetings to everyone with a fountain.
Lying on the waves all day
    Miracle-yudo fish-….
    (whale).

Whale - The blue whale is the largest creature that lives on earth. Its weight, in rare cases, reaches 200 tons, and its length is 33 meters. For todayday listed in the International Red Book and the Red Book of Russia. The blue whale has an elongated, slender bluish-gray body, flat on the side, with gray spots of different sizes and shapes. Blue whales swim in groups of 2 or 3, and sometimes alone. He tries not to swim to the shore.During the day, a blue whale eats about 1 ton of krill (this is a sea crustacean), which is what it mainly feeds on. The whale swallows the krill, along with thousands of liters of water, and then filters it, pushing the whole mass out with its tongue through the whalebone.By the way The tongue of a blue whale weighs more than an elephant and is more than 3 meters thick.

These are the different inhabitants that live in our seas, and they are very different from the inhabitants of rivers. Now you and I will have a little rest.

    Physical education minute!

We will now get up from our desks and repeat the movement with me!

In the morning the dragonfly woke up,

    Smiled, stretched,

Once she washed her face with water

    Two - gracefully twirled

Tri- bent down and sat down

    At four - flew away

    Practical part:

2.3 Competitive game program “Underwater Kingdom”

And now we will move on to the second part of our lesson - we will play a game called “Underwater Odyssey”.

And since the underwater world is an underwater kingdom, what is a kingdom without a king?....and now we meet the ruler of the seas - the king of the sea, with his retinue. Music sounds, the sea king enters with mermaids carrying a chest tied with multi-colored ribbons...

Sea king . I welcome you, earthly inhabitants, to my underwater kingdom. And I announce the following decree: “The team that best demonstrates its knowledge about the life of the underwater world will receive my gift, which is in this chest,” as a reward. And getting it is not easy: the chest is surrounded by various ribbons, each of which belongs to a specific team.

    Explains tape matching.

There are also knots on the tape; there are exactly as many of them as there are tasks. The team that is the first to untie all the knots on the ribbon will become the owner of this gift. And I will be watching this action with my mermaid. For each victory in the competition, the mermaid and I will untie a knot on the ribbon.

I command you to start the game!

The king and mermaids take their place on the “throne”.

    Warm-up

Mermaid: In order to go on a trip we need to create a team. For this, I prepared a small aquarium containing fish: sea and river fish. Now you will take turns fishing for fish, those guys who have river fish stand on the right, and those who have sea fish on the left (students sort out the cards and divide into teams)

So you and I have two teams, I propose to come up with a name for them and choose a captain.

1 Preparing a ship for a sea voyage

Presenter: Well, the teams have been recruited, but we don’t have a ship yet.

The whole team takes part in the competition.

Your task: to prepare the ship for sailing, and you must build this ship out of matches. Whoever does this faster and more interestingly is the winner. Don't forget to give your ship a name.

    2 Cheerful artist

Sea King: They select 1 person from each team and complete the task with their eyes closed.Take chalk and draw a fish's eye. Make a circle and draw a fin. Sit down and draw the scales. 2 steps back and 2 steps forward, draw the body. Make a clap, draw a tail.

Open your eyes and see how funny the fish are.

    3 Broken words

Mermaid: Quickly put a word together from letters and say in which body of water these fish live.

(raska, alaku, tick, kashchu, mos, definle).

    4 Delicious lunch

Sea King: What do fish eat?

Words are written on the board in two columns, the first column is words denoting what fish eat, the second column is the name of the fish. You need to connect the fish and its lunch with arrows.

    5 Cook competition (for captains)

Leading: Your task is to transfer the water with a ladle without spilling it from the plate into the jar. You need to fill the jar quickly.

    6 Puzzles

Mermaid : There are puzzles on the tables in front of you. You need to collect a fish from them, whose team will collect the fastest and the winner.

7 A good old fairy tale

Sea king :Teams need to remember all the fairy tales in which fish are found.

    8 Underwater kingdom

Presenter: You are faced with not an easy task, you need to make an applique of the underwater kingdom, and your captains will choose what it will be like. The captains go to the leader and choose by lot a piece of paper on which the name of the underwater kingdom is written. (On the participants’ tables there are models of fish, colored paper, scissors and glue)

    9 Riddles

Mermaid: For each correctly guessed riddle, the team is given the right to untie the knot on the ribbon.

    - Name the largest animal in the world. (Whale)

    - Name the smartest sea animal. (Dolphin)

    - Who is called the storm of the seas? (Shark)

    - What is ukha?

What kind of fish is called a river wolf? (Pike)

    - Listen to the riddle: “Parents and children have all their clothes made of coins.” What coins are we talking about in the riddle? (About fish scales.)

    - Listen to another riddle: “At the bottom, where it is quiet and dark, lies a mustachioed log.” What kind of fish are we talking about? (Som)

Sea king (summarizing the general results of the game). When the knots on the ribbon are untied, the team (name) becomes the owner of my gift. Team (name) took second place.

Leading. We congratulate the winning team and thank others for participating. Thank you for your attention!

“Our meeting is over, well done to those who participated!”

    conclusions

The lesson is educational in nature, built on the principles of integration and gaming cognition. The lesson used alternation of various types of activities in combination with a dynamic pause, rational motor activity, relaxation, and video exposure technology. Children gladly accept the rules of the game and actively take part in it, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a fairy tale.

At the beginning of the lesson, to get the children into an emotional state, we introduce the children into an imaginary situation. We aim to learn a lot of interesting things and meet different inhabitants of the underwater bottom. We build the lesson in two stages: an explanation of the topic and a journey game. The entire lesson follows a single plot. Throughout the lesson, work on the development of attention, memory, and speech development is observed. During the lesson there is a change in activity.

An atmosphere of goodwill and mutual understanding was created during the lesson.

The goal of the lesson was achieved.

    Prospects

This lesson scenario can be improved for further study of water spaces, as well as for repetitions of the materials studied. Or use it to develop a script for Neptune’s holiday.

The underwater world - the world of bright fish and unique algae, predatory sharks and friendly dolphins - occupies children's attention no less than dinosaurs from the distant past or space adventures.

There are many interesting books to introduce kids to the different inhabitants of the sea. Tamara Nazarchuk's funny poems "About the Fish" can be read from a very early age.

Toy books with stickers and cardboard inserts, such as "In the Sea" by Emily Beaumont or "Who Lives in the Water" by Balentier, will help older children easily remember the different types of sea creatures. But “Ocean” by the publishing house “Swallowtail” offers not only to look, but also to hear many interesting things: the song of a whale, the chirping of dolphins and the cries of albatrosses.

Svyatoslav Sakharnov’s book “Who Lives in the Sea” will tell about penguins and crabs, octopuses and turtles in the form of short funny tales. The characters seem to come to life in the realistic illustrations of Nikolai Ustinov. Little readers will be able to travel around the world, from warm seas to the cold Arctic Ocean.

For younger schoolchildren there is a book by Marie-Rene Pimon “Secrets of the Sea”. Colorfully illustrated, containing many interesting experiments and natural scientific information, it provides more complete knowledge about the marine world - for children interested in the world around them. In it you can read about the ebb and flow of tides, how pearls appear, and much more.

And for a useful and fun game, give your child the book “Pere-fish” by the OlmaMediaGroup publishing house. By throwing leaves, you can create a lot of fantastic fish with equally fantastic names - and also learn real representatives of marine fauna.

Do children's writers write about the inhabitants of the sea? Are there any fairy tales - besides the classic "About the Fisherman and the Fish" - that one could read at night and look at the illustrations?

Certainly! And sometimes with very unexpected heroes. "Emil. The Good Octopus" by Tomi Ungerer is a wonderful children's book about an octopus who became a real hero because he really loved helping others. Of course, this is just a fairy tale, and octopuses cannot play musical instruments, but it teaches the most important thing - kindness, the importance of selfless help, and the fact that all good deeds are certainly rewarded. The author's charming drawings make the story especially lively and funny.

Julia Donaldson's tale about the fictional fish Tulka with wonderful drawings by Axel Scheffler is a funny and instructive story in verse. No matter how exciting it is to invent all sorts of incidents, you should always know when to stop, she teaches. And at the same time he introduces you to a wide variety of fish species - flounder, halibut, and starfish! Another story from the same creative duo, “The Snail and the Whale,” tells how even someone small can do a big thing. Donaldson's poems, translated by Boroditskaya, are easy to read: the simple story of how a small snail travels on the tail of a huge whale and helps him in difficult times captivates both children and adults.

"The Seahorse" by Karl Eric is an educational tale about an unusual fish. As you can learn from it, future seahorses are cared for not by mothers, but by fathers! The main character, the father horse, carries caviar in a pouch on his abdomen, communicates with other father fish, shares his experiences... In the sea he has not only friends, but also enemies - dangerous predators, from whom he, of course, hides. The author's original illustrations - painted collages made of paper - seem unusual and airy and in some ways resemble bright children's drawings.

Another educational book, only this time with realistic illustrations by artist Yana Khoreva - “The Adventures of the Little Cod” by Olav Coucheron. In it, we follow a cod named Trond from his very birth: how the baby grows, changes, meets other fish and learns a lot of new things about the underwater world. Serious material is presented simply, clearly and excitingly - in the form of a journey. This is a real little novel of education, full of details of the development and life of various representatives of the underwater world: Trond chats with an eel, and with a stingray, and with crucian carp...

The best stories by Russian writers about sea inhabitants are collected in the book "Fish Passions". V. Bianchi, V. Kataev, S. Sakharnov, D. Alexandrov - their tales are funny and instructive, and their illustrations are bright and kind.

Is fish a friend to man? There is also a fairy tale about this - “A Fish for Misha” by Geraldine Elshner. It raises important questions - about responsibility, about love for the world around us. This story about a boy who saved a fish and settled it in his home, began to take care of it, is touching and truly philosophical.
