• Decorate the hairpins. DIY copper hairpin. To make such elegant jewelry with your own hands, we will need

    03.01.2024

    In spring and summer, every girl wants to be attractive. Not only the image as a whole plays a big role, but also individual details: shoes, elastic bands, invisible ones. To keep your hair always in order and your hairstyle to look neat, you should use not only hairpins, but also hair clips. It's not difficult to make them with your own hands. The process is fun and does not take much time.

    Little children enjoy making beautiful hair clips with their own hands. This is a great way to stand out, because you won’t find similar products anywhere else. There are many ideas and ways to make hairpins. The task is simplified by modern materials, which are presented in a wide range in stores.

    Types of hair clips can be different. Satin, velvet, light chiffon, and crepe-satin are suitable for the creative process. A twister for a hairstyle or bun should be made of dense, soft material. Fabrics with prints look interesting: flowers, figures. It is necessary to choose threads that match the color of the product, otherwise the design will not look beautiful. You can buy ready-made ribbons at a fabric store. They are easier to work with: they are already processed around the edges.

    A base will also come in handy. It is better to take metal left over from old products.

    The decoration itself will be applied to it using special glue. Invisibility designs are also suitable. You can even use regular hairpins.

    From fabric

    Children's hair clips made from ribbons are the fastest way to stand out and add charm to your look. You will need:

    • ribbon 5 cm wide in one color;
    • ribbon 2.5 cm wide in a different shade;
    • threads, needles;
    • bead;
    • automatic base;
    • glue "Moment".

    Now you can begin the process itself.

    Instructions

    A hair clip is made from satin ribbons. Now you can safely wear it. There is another option.

    From grosgrain ribbons

    They have a suitable structure and a wide range of colors. Products with bright shades are suitable for children: they look original and do not tangle the hair.

    You will need:

    • tapes 10 mm and 22 mm long. It is better to take them in different colors;
    • scissors, thin fishing line, thread, needles, lighter;
    • basis for the product;
    • strong glue.

    Instructions

    1. First you need to decide on the designs. To do this, the ribbons should be folded in the shape of a flower or a bow. Then you need to choose the size. The length and width of the entire structure depend on it.
    2. Once the dimensions have been selected, you need to cut the ribbons. In this case, it is advisable to leave a margin of 2-3 mm. The edges must be burned using a lighter or match.
    3. The ends of the ribbons must be connected using fishing line and a needle.
    4. Carefully secure the thread in the center and wind the tape well with it. You will get a bow.
    5. Then you need to take another smaller tape. It is wrapped over the base. Anything unnecessary should be removed.
    6. You can glue or sew rhinestones, a bead, or a button into the middle. Then the entire structure is connected to the base.

    From scrap materials

    You can make beautiful bobby pins for your hair or bun using available tools that are always available in any home. Even bumpits can be made this way. Below are some popular and unusual options.

    For high styling

    Formal hairstyles require special decorations, so ordinary bobby pins will not work here. You need bumpits for volume hair, as well as wedding clips for a spectacular hairstyle. If you show your imagination, you can create an original hairpin that no one else will have.

    So here's an unusual option. Suitable for both bun and other styling:

    1. You need to prepare materials: fabric that can hold its shape, flexible and elastic fishing line, dry glitter, glue, threads and needles, a base for the invisible.
    2. It is recommended to use a hard standing fabric, otherwise the invisible petals will lie unsightly. You need to cut several of these petals. Each of them can be processed along the edges so that the fabric does not fall apart.
    3. It's fun to create pieces of fishing line with glitter. To do this, each piece needs to be dipped in glue, and then in dry glitter. Only the tip of the fishing line needs to be dipped in glitter. The ends of the wire should be shiny. You need to cut several of these pieces.
    4. Now the fishing line and petals need to be securely connected to each other. To do this, pieces of fabric are sewn or glued onto the base, and pieces of fishing line are inserted into the middle. This can be done in several ways, but it is better to make a ring at each end of the fishing line, which is then easily sewn to the workpiece.

    Many fashionistas are constantly looking for ways to transform their hair jewelry. One of the best starting materials for this are regular hairpins. Using them as a base, you can create a lot of interesting and original jewelry, both voluminous and miniature. We offer you six illustrated mini-lessons on how to implement various ideas of this nature.

    From foamiran

    To decorate an old worn hairpin with foamiran flowers you will need:

    • white and green foamiran;
    • stamen preparations;
    • pastel blue, cyan and violet;
    • an old hairpin or hairpin attachment;
    • scissors and stationery knife;
    • wooden skewer;
    • pencil;
    • ruler;
    • iron;
    • glue gun;
    • brush.

    First you need to make two stencils for the petals and leaves. Draw a rectangle measuring 2 cm by 2.5 cm on cardboard and draw the outline of a petal on it, as shown in the photo.

    Then draw a square with a side of 4 cm and diagonals that will become guides for the leaf petals. Draw the leaf template the same way as in the photo. And cut it out.

    Using a wooden skewer, trace cardboard stencils on foamiran, petals on white, and leaves on green and cut out. To create three flowers you will need six flower petals and one leaf blank.

    Of course, to create flowers, you can take sheets of foamiran of different shades, but in this master class we suggest painting it yourself in the desired color. For this you will need pastel. Take blue, blue and purple pastels and crumble them using a utility knife.

    After slightly moistening the brush, dip it in the pastel and rub the petals on both sides with it. If desired, this can be done with your fingers. The main thing is to wash your brush and hands well before changing the color of the pastel.

    In addition to the prepared green leaves, you need to cut out a few more sheets that will be attached under the flowers and will help close the fastening of the hairpin. Their shape can be arbitrary, and several small cuts need to be made on the sides.

    After tinting, the petals should be shaped. To do this, heat the iron to medium temperature and place the petals on the iron one at a time for a few seconds. Then, placing the heated petal on your palm, press its center with your finger and pull it down a little.

    This action will help make the petals more voluminous and their edges more prominent.

    Green leaves will also take the desired shape when they come into contact with the iron. Additionally, they can be twirled in your palms or rolled into flagella.

    For each flower you will need two stamen blanks. Fasten them together with a glue gun.

    Then carefully connect the first petal with the stamens as shown in the photo.

    Glue all the petals sequentially in a circle so that there are no large gaps between them. It is necessary to apply glue strictly to the edge of the petal, then the flower will turn out more voluminous. Use this method to collect three flowers.

    To ensure that the leaves stick tightly to the base of the flowers, the protruding ends of the stamens must be trimmed.

    Now let's move on to the design of the hairpin. First, stick all the green leaves on it, carefully hiding the entire surface of the pin.

    Then place the flowers on the hairpin, one exactly in the center, the rest on the sides at an angle.

    From satin ribbons and flowers

    To create a delicate, elegant hairpin from artificial flowers and ribbons you will need:

    • a sprig of roses and ruscus or any small flowers and greenery;
    • pruning shears and scissors;
    • satin ribbon;
    • glue gun;
    • a piece of cardboard;
    • hair invisible.

    To create the base for the hairpin, cut a small strip of cardboard, bend it in half and add a bobby pin to it as shown in the photo. Glue the resulting structure with hot glue.

    Fold the tape into a loop and secure with glue. Next, form a second loop from the tape and secure it with glue on top of the first, moving it slightly obliquely. Then continue folding the loops in the same way until you get a full circle. Cut off the rest of the tape.

    Glue the resulting bow to a cardboard base with a bobby pin.

    Using pruning shears, cut the stems just below the flower head and divide the greens into individual leaves. First, try out how to place the flowers on the base, and then, applying a generous amount of glue to the base of each element, begin attaching the flowers and leaves to the pin.

    From polymer clay

    To create a set of stylish autumn decorations from polymer clay, you need to take:

    • polymer clay of red, orange, yellow, dark yellow colors;
    • stencil for polymer clay;
    • brown beads;
    • fishing line 3 mm;
    • chain and lock for a bracelet;
    • crocodile clips - 2 pieces;
    • Super glue;
    • brush;
    • scissors;
    • toothpick;
    • acrylic lacquer.

    The set will consist of a bracelet and two hairpins, decorated with bunches of rowan berries and bright autumn leaves.

    Therefore, first we will make rowan berries. Take a small piece of red polymer clay and divide it into several equal parts.

    Knead the clay in your hands to give it plasticity and roll it into a ball.

    Using a toothpick, pierce the future berry through to create holes for fastening. At the entrance of the resulting hole, using light pressure with a toothpick, make small grooves characteristic of mountain ash. For decorations you will need about 50 of these berries.

    To make autumn leaves, take a little clay of each color.

    Mash it well and mix together.

    Cut the required amount of clay for one sheet and tightly fill a special stencil with it. If you don’t have such a stencil, roll out a piece of clay and shape it into a sheet yourself. To create a texture, you can use a live or artificial sheet by attaching it to the workpiece to imprint the veins.

    You should remove the sheet from the stencil very carefully, as it is quite thin and can be deformed or torn.

    Make several sheets of different shapes and sizes. At the base of each workpiece, use a toothpick to make through holes for fastening.

    Next, place all the prepared elements in a baking dish and place in the oven to bake for 15-30 minutes at a temperature no higher than 130 degrees.

    When the specified time is up, remove the products from the oven, let them cool and cover them with several layers of acrylic varnish. At this stage, the workpieces will acquire strength and shine.

    Now let's start assembling the bracelet and hairpins. For the bracelet, take a chain that is the size of your hand and attach a lock to the outer links.

    Take the beads.

    Start assembling decoration elements according to the diagram below.

    Place six beads on the fishing line, then a rowan berry and another bead and return the same edge of the fishing line back in the same way. Tighten the line, you have your first branch. Using the same method, weave the remaining six branches and connect them with the leaves.

    Unlock the bracelet link and place the first piece of jewelry on it.

    Then make 4-5 more similar decorations and attach them to the bracelet.

    Now, using superglue, glue the largest leaves to the hairpins, and on top of the leaf attach a bunch of berries, collected according to the diagram attached above. Just pay attention, we have increased the number of branches with berries.

    Finally, add the remaining small leaves to the pins.

    From gro-gro tapes

    These hairpins were popular during the disco era. To make such a retro hairpin you need:

    • metal oblong hairpins no less than 5 cm long,
    • gro-gro tapes up to 4 mm wide,
    • glue gun (with hot glue).

    Cut approximately 60-65 cm of ribbon. Fold in half. Attach the middle of the ribbon to the base of the hairpin, then pull one of the edges through the middle, repeat the same with the other end.

    Do this alternation until the end of the hairpin, braiding it with ribbon.

    When you reach the end, tie a knot.

    The tail of the ribbon must be twisted into a tight rope.

    Apply a drop of glue to the base of the hairpin, wind the remaining rope-tape, forming a dense flower.

    Using the kanzashi technique

    To decorate a bow hairpin using the kanzashi technique, prepare:

    • satin ribbon 5 cm wide;
    • candle or lighter;
    • scissors;
    • tweezers;
    • Super glue;
    • rhinestones and beads;
    • a piece of felt;
    • hairpin;
    • feathers.

    To begin, cut 14 squares of tape with a side of 5 centimeters. This number of petals is enough to form one flower.

    Bend each square diagonally.

    Fold the resulting triangle in half again.

    And again in half.

    Make sure that the folds on each petal are made in the same direction. The uneven corner of the product should be trimmed a little, and then scorched over a candle flame and squeezed with tweezers so that all layers of the tape are connected.

    Cut the back of the resulting petal at an angle of 25 degrees as shown in the photo. And scorch it too.

    You should end up with a petal like this:

    While working, be sure to try to singe all sections of the tape so that it does not fray. Otherwise, the product will quickly lose its appearance.

    Glue beads to the seven petals as in the photo.
    These petals will be located in the first row of the flower.

    Cut a circle with a diameter of 4 centimeters from a piece of felt. The flower will be collected on this basis.

    Now we apply the feathers in a circle to the felt base and fix them with glue. First, the feathers must be sorted by size and shape, and if necessary, trimmed or straightened.

    Glue seven petals with beads in a circle on top of the feathers. For greater reliability, the petals can first be strung on a thread and pulled together in the shape of a flower, and then glued on top.

    Attach the second row of petals in the spaces between the petals of the first row.

    Decorate the center of the flower with rhinestones, and glue a clip to the felt on the back side.

    Acrylic coated

    For such hairpins you need:

    • a set of metal hairpins;
    • thin brushes;
    • acrylic paints;
    • a piece of cardboard;
    • artistic varnish.

    First, attach the bobby pins to the cardboard. This will make it easier to decorate them.

    Squeeze the required amount of acrylic paint onto the palette.

    Apply the first layer, let it dry and then move the pins slightly onto clean cardboard.

    Make the second layer more saturated. Let it dry.

    The final layer will be a clear varnish coating.

    What are there

    Hairpins can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are made in a modern version from metal or plastic.

    But the main thing you should pay attention to when choosing this accessory for your hair is the shape of the tip of the leg; in no case should it be sharp. Ideally, the stem should end in a small round ball designed to protect the scalp from accidental scratches.

    Hairpins can be as inconspicuous as possible, or they can be decorative. In this case, they are decorated with artificial flowers, stones, rhinestones, etc.

    How to use it correctly

    Decorative pins, intended simply to decorate the hairstyle, can simply be inserted into the hair in the right places, guiding them with their legs towards the center of the hairstyle.

    If, when styling with your own hands, you use this accessory to secure strands, then the procedure should be approximately as follows:

    • insert the legs of the hairpin into the already fixed strands;
    • pry up the curl that is to be fixed;
    • again run the legs of the device into the secured hair towards the center of the hairstyle.

    Everyday and holiday styling

    It’s not difficult to learn how to do hairstyles with pins with your own hands without leaving home. To do this, just carefully consider the master classes below or use video lessons.

    Flagella

    This interesting styling can be easily done with your own hands, spending just a few minutes. It looks quite stylish, despite the simplicity of execution.

    In the photo of the master class, spiral-shaped pins are used, but this is not necessary. The flagella can be secured quite reliably with ordinary even devices.

    Section your hair as shown in the picture. First, separate the back of the head with a horizontal parting. And then, using an even straight or side parting, divide the upper part into two halves.

    Twist the back of the strands into a tight rope, and then roll them into a classic bun. Secure it with prepared pins.

    Twist the left side of your hair into a rope and place it around the bun. Secure the result. Do a similar procedure with the right side of your hair.

    Please note that the bundles should be laid by wrapping the left side of the strands around the bun clockwise, and the right side counterclockwise.

    Hide the ends of the flagella inside hairstyles Secure the result firmly with pins and fix it with varnish.

    Another interesting hairstyle with plaits is presented in the video.

    Everyday hairstyle in a hurry

    This DIY styling can be done in a matter of minutes. To create it, in addition to hairpins, you will need regular elastic band for hair.

    Separate part of the hair from the back of the head and tie it in the center with an elastic band.

    Please note that around your tail on all sides there should be loose strands.

    Separate a strand from the front part on one side, throw it over the ponytail and secure with hairpins.

    Do a similar procedure with the facial strands on the other side.

    Check that the studs are securely fastened. Spray your hair with a little hairspray to set it in place.

    You may like the hairstyle presented in the video, it is also easy to do it yourself.

    Unusual high bun

    Buns and shells are the most common hairstyles with pins. They can be made in a classic, strict version, or you can get creative and build a real, unique masterpiece with your own hands.

    Ioption.

    Curl the ends of your hair with a curling iron. Lightly straighten the waves with your hands, without using a comb.

    Tie a high ponytail.

    Smooth your hair well and spray it with a little hairspray. Divide the ponytail strands into two parts and tie one or more loose knots. Create beautiful curls in knots and loose curls.

    Secure the result with pins.

    II option.

    Curl all your hair using a small curling iron or roller. Straighten the curls with your fingers.

    Gather your curls with a thin elastic band that matches your hair color into a loose ponytail.

    Secure the curls with bobby pins around the base of the ponytail in a random pattern.

    A couple of times I was asked to tell how I make hairpins and in particular one of the simple ones - “Green garden”.

    I decided to photograph the whole process so that I wouldn’t have to describe it “by hand.” :-) I hope this will be useful)

    What you will need for work:

    1 – Copper or brass wire 1.5 mm thick for the base and 0.3 or 0.4 mm

    for winding.

    2 - Round nose pliers

    3 – thin-nose pliers (like pliers, but smooth)

    4 – Wire cutters

    5 - hammer

    6 – Flaheisen or anvil

    7 - A needle file or file (I also have needle files, but this file is my favorite,

    it gives a smooth, even edge.)

    8 – beads (can be different)

    9 – liquid for blackening. I use it, although you can use black

    several different ways. :0)

    10 – And the Wig Jig device (you can do without it).

    First, let's cut a piece of wire. I always take a piece of wire with a reserve; it’s better to cut it off a little later. If the hairpin is 12 cm, then I make sure that my length is approximately 40 cm.

    We will bend the decorative part and make waves on the hairpin itself. This length will be used for all our manipulations.

    We find the middle of our segment.

    If we use a Wig Jig, then we make this very simple combination on it and wind three “petals” from the middle part of a piece of wire.

    We remove the workpiece and use round pliers to make curls.

    We try to do everything as symmetrically as possible.

    I usually make waves that gradually taper off towards the end of the hairpin. More, then less and less,

    but whoever likes it.)

    When all the waves are ready, cut off the excess.

    We beat our workpiece with a hammer on a flaheisen or anvil. Do not hit with force with a hammer. You need to practice flattening the wire evenly.

    Let's make one more detail for our hairpin.

    We process its ends with a nail file so that they do not get scratched.

    We beat back

    Let's see in the process that it fits so well.

    And a new stage) now we will braid the hairpin) we will connect the parts. Let's put all our beads in place.

    And we wind it to the place we need like this:

    Add beads - make a turn or two around the adjacent curls of the base and cut the wire leaving 3-4 cm

    We wind two adjacent beads in the same way, only we will not cut the outer thin wires, they will be used to wind the curls.

    Right now we still have ugly scraps of wire sticking out around the central bead. But we carefully, without tightening too much, so as not to tear it off, twist these ends around the wire on which we hold small beads) and cut the wire “at the root” and then press it with needle-nose pliers. There are no endings)

    We continue to wrap our hairpin.)

    We take our separate part and a piece of thin wire (I think it was 15 cm) I always use it by eye and with a reserve) we wind several turns in the middle of the part.

    Then we thread both ends into the openwork bead like this.

    And we drag them through and begin to wind the wire around the part again! We fasten the part to the hairpin :)

    There are many ways to hide the ends of this segment. But I did it like this:

    (pictured is the reverse side of the stud)

    We cut off the excess))) we press what is needed and at the end we process it with a nail file)

    Now you can cover it with blackening liquid, wait a little and polish (you can do this with a cloth and goi paste or special Dursol paste, or you can use an engraver with attachments, if you have one)

    And everything is ready!)))

    Hair clip there can never be too much. It’s beautiful when the hairpins on a little fashionista’s head match her outfit. A flower in the hair always looks very impressive both in a festive and in a simple everyday hairstyle. Making a suitable hairpin is not at all difficult. And you can choose absolutely any material. For example, DIY fabric flower.

    Materials:
    A small piece of woolen fabric (drape, etc. will do)
    Threads with a needle
    Beads, rhinestones, etc. are suitable for making the central part.
    Hair clip (invisible)
    Glue
    Scissors

    First you need to cut out two rectangles from the fabric, slightly larger than a hair clip.

    Then you need to cut a small hole in the center of the top of one of the prepared rectangles. To do this, you need to fold the rectangle in half and make a small cut with scissors

    Now insert one part of the hair clip into the hole you just prepared.

    Then we take the second rectangle and sew them together with the first, trying to make the stitches as close to the hairpin as possible

    Let's cut the resulting workpiece along the contour

    Now to make a flower let's make a petal like this

    You need five petals for one flower. The next step will be to sew these lep
