• Who suits orange lipstick? What to combine orange lipstick with Orange lipstick on lips

    29.06.2020

When I look at the color combinations in traditional Japanese interiors and outfits, I clearly understand that I have big artistic gaps. From the outside I can appreciate how the shades emphasize the beauty of each other in combinations, but I myself cannot put them together or incorporate them into myself - alas! And that’s what’s good about the Japanese experience - they not only have a great sense of color, a little in their own way, with a love for simple and implicit faded tones, but they also carefully lay everything out on the shelves. And in Japanese beauty magazines, you always need to carefully look at how decorative items are clustered in the photographs - they are selected not only according to the advertising department’s rates, but also in accordance with complete artistic harmony.

I don’t know about you girls, but I rarely really match eyeshadow and lipstick. Out of curiosity, I can’t buy the entire collection; I’m always drawn to different things from different lines. And most often, even if there is something interesting in front of my eyes, I paint my lips with a neutral gloss or even apply only a balm. But I feel that the makeup could be more beautiful, and the use of the entire arsenal of decorative items could be more meaningful. And now, you won’t believe it, for the first time, a guide to color combinations of eye shadows and lipsticks resonated with me so much that I clearly understood what I was doing wrong and what I was missing. Take a look too, maybe it will be useful to someone. This is an insert from Voce magazine for March, 10 trendy shades of eyeshadow are discussed here (among them, in general, there are timeless classics: warm and cold brown, lilac, khaki, blue, gray) and for each - 8 shades of a suitable range of lipsticks. Most of the lipsticks, by the way, are from European luxury brands. The pictures are clickable.

And I realized that I urgently need brown and orange-red))

If you still doubt that orange everywhere is a big trend, then look what the designers think about it at the spring-summer 2011 shows.

Orange wasn't just everywhere, it literally filled the runway. It must be said that it did not always look good – and often it was also practically unwearable.

I probably won’t be mistaken if I say that most girls don’t have eye shadow or orange lipstick in their makeup bag (polish, no matter what, in the summer we can afford everything!). Orange is a bright, sunny color, but not everyone can imagine themselves with such makeup. This is especially true for eyelid makeup - orange in this area is simply scary or evokes memories of some serious liver disease, which is why there is all sorts of talk on blogs about the Givenchy promotional picture.

So how can you tame orange on your face?

    1. The simplest option. To tame it not on the face, but on the nails, fortunately, the catwalks were full of such options.

If you are afraid of an unfortunate combination of orange and your skin tone on your hands, paint your toenails with it. A little tan - and you are already creating a chic summer mood around you.

It is worth noting that the varnish may not be pure orange, but with variations. Most variations on this theme in the spring collections are in peach tones. For example, Vernis Please in Candide Peach from the same Givenchy collection is very wearable. It will not scare you with its brightness on the still gray February days.

    2. A slightly more complex option. Let's try to tame it on our lips.

Bright orange lipstick is essentially the same as red, so it requires the same approach. Namely:

Perfect tone. If your skin doesn't look good enough, bright lipstick will look completely out of place on it. Pay maximum attention to applying the primer and foundation and masking flaws.

Don’t forget about the skin around your lips - you can even completely cover your lips with tone and apply lipstick on top, so the tone will be closer to what’s in the tube and will last a little longer.

Everything else on the face should comply with the Keep It Simple principle - or the bare minimum. For me it’s light shadows and neat eyeliner.

Really well chosen shade of orange lipstick will do Almost any girl (like classic red lipstick) - both fair-skinned and dark-skinned.

But bright orange is not the only option! Try coral lipstick - they come in both very delicate translucent shades and a little richer shades. Wear these with lilac or gray shadows - here you can emphasize your eyes more expressively than in the first case.

A peach or orange blush will balance out the lipstick on your face.

    3. The most difficult option. Let's take a closer look at the shadows!

Orange shadows still work best dark girls with dark hair - it looks more natural on their skin. They can also wear bright orange. For those who have very fair skin, you need to choose a shade that is completely pure and preferably light, for example, a delicate, delicate peach, perhaps with a light shimmer (if the shade goes darker or is not completely pure, you will get the feeling that you have dirt). However, if the soul asks for brightness, why not? Only it should be a “pulsating” color, like at the Derek Lam show.

    How to conquer orange?

Completely transparent shadows. Shading, shading, shading! You can highlight your eyes a little along the contour, as in the Thakoon show, or add golden shadows on top. For harmony, you need peach blush and a little coral lip gloss.

We won't be bored this summer. Experiments in makeup are what makeup artists all over the world “prescribe” to us as an escape from boredom, and at the same time from the heat. This time we take the liberty of trying a juicy orange lipstick.

Orange is the new red. At least, this is what they persistently tried to say and show at the past spring-summer shows of Fashion Week in New York. Makeup artists from such brands as DKNY, Dsquared2, John Galliano and others unanimously confessed their love for the color orange. The tones they preferred varied only slightly. The triumphant march of bright lipstick did not end with the podium. On the contrary, it has only just begun to gain momentum. Soon we saw orange on red: orange lipstick on the red carpet, and this is already sure sign that the trend has caught on. If the stars are not afraid to experiment, you can be sure that millions around the world will follow their example.

Wearing orange is certainly not easy. It’s not that it’s completely impossible, but it’s still worth following certain rules. However, any bright shade requires caution. The first thing to remember is that your face tone should be even, because bright lipstick tends to enhance the visibility of skin imperfections. In addition, if sleepless nights in front of the laptop were not in vain and now appear in the form of circles under the eyes, use concealer, otherwise you risk looking tired, and even several years older. Secondly, the shade should suit you. Try and choose, there is no shortage of lipstick in the right shade, so don’t be shy. The most important thing is don’t overdo it! Orange lipstick makes a statement loudly, or rather, very brightly. You should not enhance the effect with additional color accents in the form of, for example, rich shadows. Take an example from the stars who combine this lipstick with neat black wings and delicate blush. Or they don’t combine it with anything at all, leaving orange as an independent accent in the image.

Take dryness and flaking as a cry for help and a plea for moisture. The skin of the lips is extremely sensitive and thin and is the first to react to a lack of water in the body, so instead of spreading lip balm on your lips again, drink a glass of plain water.

Dehydration, by the way, is not the only cause of dry lips. The second most common culprit is saliva, which dries and draws moisture from the skin, so please stop licking your lips.

And finally, dryness can also indicate problems with the mucous membrane of the esophagus and stomach, erosions, and gastritis. The lips are often one of the first to report problems with internal organs.

Cracks along the edges of the lips

Most often, the cause of cracks that form along the edges of the lips are various infections caused by bacteria that appear as a result of improper oral hygiene. This is especially true for those who wear braces or various prostheses. If not properly treated, they are an excellent environment for the development of harmful bacteria. Our advice is to be more careful about your hygiene and visit a dermatologist who will choose the right treatment.

    Color change

If one day in the mirror, instead of beautiful rose-colored lips, you see something blatantly bright or unbearably pale, the first thing to do is rule out the possibility that you ate something coloring - candy, berries or fruit. If you definitely haven’t eaten anything like that, run to the doctor. Changes in lip color can be caused by both liver problems and various allergic reactions. By the way, lip color also changes due to excessive smoking.

    Swelling

Slight swelling of the lips in the morning may mean that your body is prone to excess fluid accumulation. In other cases, swollen lips indicate allergic reaction. In both cases, you better visit a doctor. Moreover, in the second situation, this needs to be done as soon as possible.

    Pallor

Unnatural paleness of the lips can occur for two reasons - illness and lack of sun. If you feel great and don't notice anything suspicious, just try to spend a little more time outside. But it’s better to consult a doctor, most often pale lips “signal” about problems with the gastrointestinal tract, anemia or liver disease.

Cracks in the corners of the lips

Cracks in the corners of the lips indicate a lack of vitamin B2 and a weakened immune system. Change your diet and pay more attention to health. Eat healthy, eat more vegetables and fruits, and it won't hurt to start taking a multivitamin.

    Increased sensitivity

Increased sensitivity, redness and irritation along the edges of the lips can be caused by allergies, including to hygiene products, such as mouthwash or toothpaste. Traditionally, such allergies are also accompanied by reddening of the gums.
