I work at home on J's couch. I knit for people. Maybe someone will find it strange or incomprehensible why I’m doing this, that you can’t earn much money by knitting.
But every business requires talent, my work also requires a creative approach, knowledge of the basics of clothing design, always following fashion, knowing whether a particular model is suitable for a particular person or not. I meet a person and ask what he wants: a sweater, a scarf or a hat, a dress, and so on. One can only dream of my comfort. If I wish, if it’s cool, I can sit comfortably on the sofa, covering my legs with a blanket (by the way, knitted with my own hands and therefore warm and beautiful).
When I want, I can drink tea/coffee, eat lunch or just have a snack. I don’t have to report to my superiors, since I am my own boss. And how comfortable it is for me to work depends entirely on myself.

What I like most is that my work brings me pleasure. Because I really like to knit. And at first it was just my hobby, which later turned into my work, which brings joy to people when they really like something, it fits and fits perfectly. At the same time, it becomes very pleasant in your soul when you see joy and a little happiness on their face, how their eyes begin to glow at the same time. You immediately stop thinking about the sleepless nights you had to spend finishing work to meet deadlines.

Sometimes I miss communicating with people. After all, when working from home, I am not in a team; of course, I communicate with clients, but this does not happen every day and for a short period of time.

I think that every person can be satisfied with his salary level for a certain period of time, and then he wants to grow and for his income to grow. So it is with me. Unfortunately, people are not yet ready to pay the kind of money that suited me, but which is worth the effort, self made which I am doing.

Alas, I don’t have a team, I work for myself and for myself.
The only thing is that sometimes I turn to assistants - other knitters, if I have collective orders and a large amount of work that I cannot handle alone by the agreed deadline. These knitters have been working with me for some time and have been tested.

For me, patience and the ability to find an approach to each client are important, because not every person understands that this or that thing will not suit him.
