    Fairytale story “Wise Advice” with a master class of volumetric illustration with step by step photos

    The work was made using the paper filigree technique.
    Tikhonova Yulia 8 years old.
    Supervisor: Kozyreva Lyudmila Aleksandrovna teacher additional education MBU DO "House of Young Technicians" in Korolev, Moscow Region.
    Master Class designed for younger children school age, will be useful to teachers, additional education teachers, and parents.
    Purpose: Illustration for fairy tale story, present.
    Target: Introduce seasonal changes appearance animals, make three-dimensional figures characters from corrugated cardboard.
    Tasks: 1. Talk about seasonal changes in the appearance of bunnies.
    2. Develop fine motor skills, design abilities, imagination.
    3. Cultivate curiosity, love of nature, kindness.

    It was a hot summer day. A hare sat near a tree stump and thought: “Why did it become difficult for me to escape from the fox, wolf and bear?” Then an owl flew in and sat down on a tree stump. “Why are you so sad?” - she asked. The hare told about his trouble. And the owl gave it to the hare wise advice: “Change your white fur coat for a summer gray one, bunny.” The bunny said: “Thank you!” - and ran to change clothes.

    Creative workshop: Now we will make three-dimensional figures of a bunny and an owl.
    1.For this we need tools and materials: strips of corrugated cardboard (you can buy ready-made ones or cut them yourself from corrugated cardboard 1 cm wide); PVA glue; paper rolling tool; hemisphere template; colored paper; decorative eyes.

    2. Glue together the required number of corrugated strips in length, twist them into tight disks by hand, and secure the tip of the strip with PVA glue. Let's make two disks from three glued strips white and two disks of five white stripes for the head and body of the bunny. Let's twist two parts from two strips Brown, one piece of three yellow stripes and one piece of three brown stripes.

    3. Using “hemispheres” or your fingers, bend the disks into a hemisphere shape.

    4. Use your fingers to give one of the hemispheres the shape of a cone.

    5. We will get two hemispheres for the bunny’s head and one hemisphere and a cone for his body. For the owl, you will get two brown hemispheres for the head, one brown hemisphere and a yellow cone for the body. Coat all parts from the inside with a brush with glue and let dry.

    6. Glue together the parts of the head and body of the bunny and owl.

    7. Seal the junction of the parts with a strip in one layer.

    8.For a bunny, twist two circles from one strip and, pressing with your fingers on one side, give the shape of droplets - these are the legs. We fold the upper legs of the bunny from one strip each. We make the bunny ears out of half a pink strip and half a white one. One white stripe cut in half lengthwise and twist them into circles, slightly shaping them into droplets - these are the bunny’s cheeks. From red stripes we will make up the details of the wings and tail for the owl, the wings from full stripes, and the tail from halves. We will make the legs for the owl from full strips and give them a teardrop shape. From yellow cardboard we cut out two teardrop-shaped pieces for the owl's head. We will select decorative eyes that are suitable in size.

    9.Glue all the details and eyes to the head and body of the owl and the bunny.

    10. This is what they look like in profile.

    11. And this is the rear view.

    12. Now let’s create a clearing. Let's start with the stump. Cut the bushing in half toilet paper. Let's put it on beige colored paper and trace it along the outline. On the outside of the resulting circle, draw another one at a distance of 1 cm. Let's draw lines where the cuts should be. Cut out the circle along the lines.

    13. Prepare paper to simulate bark. It is very easy. Paint a sheet of writing paper with gouache mixed with PVA glue in a beige color. When the paper is dry, crumple it into a small chaotic accordion and slightly straighten it. Mix thick brown paint with glue. Using a foam sponge, move it lightly across the accordion folds and paint over the protruding surface. You need to put a little paint on the sponge; it should be semi-dry.

    14.Draw annual rings on a round cut-out blank for hemp using a colored brown pencil.

    15. Glue the workpiece onto the sleeve, bending the allowances.

    16. Cut out a piece of imitation bark paper 6 cm high and 15 cm long. Glue it onto the sleeve, and make triangular cuts on the resulting allowance at the bottom; they will imitate the roots of a tree.

    17. This is the stump we got.

    18. Cut out circles with a diameter of 5 and 8 mm from orange paper, make a cut on each one to the center and, slightly moving the sections, glue light cones to make mushroom caps. Twist thin and short strips of paper with a string to create mushroom stems. All that remains is to glue the caps to the legs.

    19. Glue the mushrooms onto the stump.

    20. Cut small triangles from green paper, glue them together in several pieces in the form of tufts of grass, and make a fold at the bottom at a right angle so that it is convenient to glue them to the base.

    21. For the clearing, cover a small box with green paper and glue a stump and grass onto it.

    22. Using a tool or a toothpick, twist thin colored strips into tight circles and secure the tip of the strip with glue. From these circles we will glue small flowers and decorate the clearing with them.

    23. A sad bunny is standing in a clearing, and a wise owl is sitting on a tree stump.

    Corrugated cardboard is a very convenient material for creating children's crafts: it can easily curl and crumple without additional effort. Therefore, crafts made from corrugated cardboard can be used in joint creativity with children younger age.

    Quilling crafts made from corrugated cardboard

    A special place in the creation of crafts from corrugated cardboard is occupied by such a technique as quilling - rolling a strip into a spiral, and depending on the effort applied, the density of the winding can be adjusted.

    There are various types of twists: tight spiral, curved drop, semicircle, free spiral, bird's foot, leaf, arrow, triangle, cone, crescent, rhombus. This technique is successfully used to create three-dimensional flowers.

    Corrugated cardboard applique

    To coincide your craft with any holiday, you can make cards and flowers from corrugated cardboard.

    The simplest, easiest and beautiful crafts made of corrugated cardboard - these are flowers.

    It is necessary to prepare materials:

    • corrugated colored cardboard;
    • ordinary cardboard;
    • small wooden sticks or a toothpick;
    • scissors;
    • glue.
    1. Draw a leaf on colored cardboard. You need to draw at least 15 leaves and then cut them out.
    2. We cut out two strips of at least 50 cm in length from brown and yellow corrugated cardboard. We twist them together to form a dome.
    3. From ordinary cardboard we cut out a circle of small diameter (no more than 5 cm).
    4. We glue a stick or toothpick along the radius, and petals around the circle.
    5. We glue the second row of sheets on top, moving each sheet slightly.
    6. Take green corrugated cardboard, trace two leaves and cut them out.
    7. Glue the leaves to the stem. The flower is ready.

    The most popular activity among children is the creation of postcards. The following material will be required:

    • corrugated cardboard;
    • scissors;
    • colored paper;
    • glue;
    • marker
    .

    Such flowers can be presented as a whole bouquet. However, this requires perseverance and attention from the child, since creating a bouquet takes a lot of time.

    Cards made from corrugated cardboard are distinguished by their beauty and design, depending on the child’s imagination.

    Volumetric children's crafts made from corrugated colored cardboard

    Older children, with the help of their mother, can create three-dimensional crafts: animals, vehicles, cartoon characters.

    Due to the fact that corrugated cardboard is dense, crafts made from it are large, reliable and do not fall apart over time. That's why it's so well suited for creating volumetric figures.

    But since the technique of creating three-dimensional figures is quite complex, such crafts are not suitable for young children. But with a preschooler, you can have a fun time creating such a work.

    Corrugated cardboard

    The history of using corrugated cardboard goes back more than a hundred years. Its appearance was associated with the need to create a material that would protect goods from mechanical influences. The possibility of using corrugated paper for packaging was first identified by the American, Albert Johnson, who was looking for a suitable material for packaging glass flasks and bottles. The first patent for the use of this new material was registered on December 19, 1871. A decade later, in 1881, the first mechanically driven machine for producing two-layer corrugated cardboard and winding it into rolls was released in the USA. It is thanks to its simple design that corrugated cardboard remains the most profitable modern packaging material from which containers of any configuration, strength and finish can be created. This versatile material is in demand in many areas of industry, and is also widely used in creativity.

    Master Class

    Master Class (MK) - this is the transfer of his professional experience by a master (teacher), his consistent, verified actions leading to a predetermined result.

    To publish a master class, the work must be original (invented and made by you). If you used someone else's idea, you must indicate the author. (The link to the source should not lead to a site containing sales of goods or services, since links to commercial sites are prohibited according to clause 2.4 of the PS).

    Your master class should not completely duplicate the one already available in the Land of Masters. Before publishing, check through a search that there are no similar MKs on the site.

    The process should be photographed step by step (see Tips for photographing crafts) or filmed (see how to upload a video).

    Design order: the first photo is the finished work that is proposed to be completed, the second photo is the materials and tools necessary for the work (or their detailed description), then the stages of MK from the first to the last. The final photo (the result of the work) can repeat the very first one. Photos must be accompanied by clear and competent comments about the process.

    If you have already published your MK on another site and you want to also publish it with us, then you need to follow all the rules for designing a MK described above. In other words: in an entry with the MK type, you cannot simply put a photo of the finished product and a link to a master class on another site.

    Attention: all master classes in the Land of Masters are checked by site assistants. If the requirements of the Master Class section are not met, the entry type will be changed. If the site's User Agreement is violated, for example, copyright is violated, the entry will be removed from publication.

    The question of what can be made from paper or packaging cardboard arises very often. There are several reasons for this. First, such materials are considered accessible. Secondly, making cardboard crafts with your own hands is quite simple. Thirdly, despite various crafts, which are sold in stores, I want there to be special things in the apartment.

    Cardboard cap

    If you start listing what you can make from corrugated cardboard yourself, then a dozen pages may not be enough. First of all, these are unique products, which can include both home decorations (garlands, lanterns, toys, etc.) and important items (boxes, vases, furniture for toys, etc.). TO voluminous crafts cardboard can be used to make figurines of cartoon characters.

    Everyone knows what holidays are, and they are important to all people. This and New Year, and birthdays, and weddings, and everything else. And what is a holiday without beautiful attributes? One of the most fashionable items with which the holidays are associated is a cap., this is especially true for children, although adults also love such hats.

    For people who have decided to add more brightness to their celebration, the question of what can be created from cardboard and paper on their own no longer arises.

    To work you will need:

    • Colored paper or corrugated cardboard.
    • Glue.
    • Sharp scissors.
    • Elastic band or narrow ribbon.

    These materials are quite enough to create a cap, but others will be needed for decoration, depending on the theme of the holiday and the age of the people present at the celebration.

    A sheet of paper or corrugated cardboard measuring 30 by 45 centimeters needs to be rolled into a cone shape, the excess parts cut off, and the edges joined together. In order for the craft to stay well on your head, you need to attach a ribbon or elastic band to it beautiful color, making holes on both sides at the bottom of the cone.

    You can decorate the cap to your taste corrugated paper, rhinestones or different shapes cut out of multi-colored paper.

    Box for home

    Every home has many small things that are often in disarray because there are no different and separate drawers for them. But everything can change after a child or adult learns that you can create an unusual box out of cardboard.

    To do this you will need cardboard, a pencil, sharp scissors, tape, glue and soft fabric. To understand how to make a box, it is worth studying a detailed master class.

    Manufacturing instructions:

    To decorate the box, you can use various appliqués, rhinestones, lace and other decorative elements.

    Applications from circles

    Of course, creating boxes, caps and other useful items can be difficult for a child. Therefore, parents often think about what can be created from cardboard and paper that a child could do.

    Enough exciting activity could be creating an applique from circles. So, you need to stock up on cardboard, plain white sheets, colorful paper, scissors, good glue, compasses or products that can be placed on a piece of paper, traced and obtained into circles of different sizes. First you will need to draw and cut out different paper circles of different diameters, and then, taking a piece of cardboard, give free rein to your imagination and create various pictures and whole figures or their halves.

    For example, if you fold the halves in a circle and glue them to the material, and attach a small circle in the center, you can get a flower. The leaves of this plant can become the same shapes, only in a green shade. The stems can also be folded from very small circles or their halves, and in the form of a pot, take half of a huge circle, gluing it cut side up.

    In fact, you can make many different products, for example, a figurine of a dog, a cat, a house, or even a unique painting with a stand, the main thing is not to be lazy. The most best crafts are created using the quilling technique, so it’s definitely worth trying.

    Attention, TODAY only!

    Corrugated cardboard is a convenient and practical material for crafts.
    Recently it has become very popular, and this is quite justified, because corrugated cardboard is flexible, dense and holds its shape well.
    The child will easily cope with this material and over time will learn to make amazing crafts.

    You can find corrugated cardboard in any specialty store. It's for sale in sheets and strips.

    For crafts in style quilling, that is, rolling paper, it is better to use stripes. They can also be cut from sheet cardboard, but in this case you will be limited by size.

    Corrugated cardboard in sheets Suitable for creating appliques and postcards. Crafts made using both types of corrugated cardboard look extraordinary.

    Crafts made from corrugated cardboard

    Craftsmen quickly realized the benefits of corrugated cardboard and learned how to create amazing things. Incredibly, you can make it out of ordinary strips realistic animal, an adorable toy, an amazing doll.

    The child will certainly be interested in the opportunity to learn this art, especially since it is not difficult to do.

    To make crafts from corrugated cardboard you will need, in addition to the main material:

    • scissors or utility knife
    • glue, brush
    • ruler with geometric shapes(we need circles) – it makes it easier to make identical petals
    • decorative elements (beads, stones, sparkles, etc.)

    Flowers

    For beginners, it is better to start with simple crafts to master the technique. Invite your child to do applique with flowers from strips of corrugated cardboard. Prepare everything for this necessary materials and take a thick sheet of paper or cardboard.

    Stripes will be needed in three or four colors: green - for leaves and stems, yellow - for cores, orange, red, blue (to your taste) - for petals.

    • To begin, take the yellow strip and roll it into a roll to make an even circle.
      Carefully coat with glue the side that will be attached to the base.
      To prevent the circle from unwinding, glue the edge. Press the “core” onto the paper and hold it for a while until it sticks.
    • Take the strip for the petal. Twist it in the same way as the previous one, but do not squeeze it tightly, but loosen it slightly and press on one edge to form a droplet.
      Coat with glue and attach to the base. Make as many petals as needed.
    • Using the same principle, twist a few more flowers.
      Then make the stems by gluing the green strips edgewise.
    • We make petals from the same green stripes. Roll a few ovals and press them around the edges to make them sharp. Coat the underside with glue and place along the stem.
    • As a finishing touch, all that remains is to add a few vignettes. Wind the green strip halfway around the pen or pencil and release. Then glue these vignettes between the leaves.
      The application is ready.

    You can successfully combine corrugated cardboard in strips and sheets in products

    Can be done corrugated cardboard flowers, without gluing them to the base, but creating a wonderful bouquet.

    They are all made according to the same principle - take the desired strip, twist it, shape it, glue it - but in the end the elements are not glued to the paper, but connected to each other.

    Decorate it with beautiful matching beads, stones or ribbons. All that remains is to write your wish inside.
    Believe me, such a postcard will definitely not leave anyone indifferent, and the person will appreciate the effort expended.

    In general, if you like to make crafts and delight your friends and family with original and unique gifts, then you just need to master the art of creating crafts from corrugated cardboard.
