    All parents with primary school children have to do this with them DIY crafts for school. You can be annoyed by this, so you have to spend free time, which is always missing, but you can take it with joy - after all, this is a wonderful reason to communicate once again with children, break out of everyday life and get creative. Nothing brings you closer together than joint work, especially when doing something requires manifestation creative thinking. Topics, techniques and materials can be very different. Usually they do it for all holidays themed crafts. Behind New Year when we were making gifts for family and friends, Christmas tree toys and decorations. Ahead is Defender of the Fatherland Day, March 8, Easter. Let's think in advance what we can do together with the children.

    Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is postcards. The technique used to make postcards varies, but most often it is appliqué. Irisfolding, also a type of appliqué, is popular, but cards made using this technique have greater expressiveness and volume. Children can easily do such work with minimal help from you.

    The main thing is accuracy. Although even the most ordinary applique is good if you take material with different textures or patterns. Volume finished product Thickened double-sided tape will also create. Origami and quilling will also make your crafts more interesting and expressive. Feel free to combine in one product different techniques. For example - a postcard in the form men's shirts- the topic is not new, but it’s very good. A striking example how expressiveness is achieved with small means. Postcards with pics. 2 made even simpler. The pocket is glued only along the bottom contour; the congratulations are written on a separate card and inserted into the pocket. An origami airplane can serve as a postcard. You can write a congratulation on his wings.

    Postcards for March 8th are made using the appliqué technique. In Fig. 5, some of the flowers are made using the technique. Very simple but beautiful card in Fig. 6. Flower petals in the form of circles, cut out using a stencil from colored paper, are glued pointwise at the center of the flower.

    The stem can be made from a stick from ear cleaners or a piece of used rod from ballpoint pen. A ribbon bow really decorates a simple picture. On the checkbox you can write short congratulations: "Congratulations!" or “Happy March 8!”

    If you have a printer, print the text or write it by hand. For the flowers from the postcard, Fig. 7, you need to make a petal stencil. Cut out the petals from colored paper and line the edges with a dry piece of foam rubber, only lightly dipping it into the paint.

    The paint should match, but darker than the flowers themselves. Only the bases of the stems are glued together with the greeting card. Bow made of colored braid. In Fig. 8 butterflies are made using the 3D applique technique. The body is made of sequins.

    The spiral design can be applied with a felt-tip pen using short strokes. Easter cards usually depict flowers, eggs, and chickens. It is not necessary to stick the applique on. You can make a two-layer card with a cutout at the top, and place a piece of fabric or paper with a pattern under the cutout.

    Now it will be easier for you to do DIY crafts for school, photo finished works will help with this. It is not necessary to copy, just understand the manufacturing principle and make something of your own. Using the same technique that postcards are made, you can make a wall panel. But in this case, you will need to take care of the frame so that the work looks complete. A ready-made wooden frame will do. And if it doesn’t exist, make it yourself from thick paper or cardboard, decorating it to your liking. Of course, postcards or panels are not all that you can make with your own hands. Plasticine, thermoplastic, salty dough- excellent materials for three-dimensional crafts.

    DIY crafts for school ideas

    It just so happens that we don’t have a holiday for men like March 8 or Mother’s Day. All these functions are performed on February 23. Therefore, on this day they congratulate both adult men who served and are serving in the army, and boys - future defenders of the Fatherland.

    Girls can congratulate not only their fathers and grandfathers, but also their classmates. For them, both postcards and small ones would be appropriate as a gift. Gifts for dad or grandfather can include more than just military themes. Play up the profession or hobby of the person for whom the gift is intended. Look at interesting works made of plasticine or thermoplastic in Fig. 13, which are volumetric applique. Using this technique, you can make small panels on cardboard, plywood or a piece of thin plastic.

    Figures 14-16 are just right for such work. If their size allows, they will also make cute magnets. You can use the same technique to make holiday medals. Figures 16-20 are suitable for Easter work. They can also be done as paper applique. Flowers made using a wide variety of techniques are appropriate for March 8th.

    A home decoration that has become popular is a wreath, which is traditionally made for Christmas. But the idea is so good that the wreath can be made for Valentine’s Day, March 8, and Easter. Just choose the appropriate attributes for each holiday. Flowers are suitable for any of these holidays. You can add hearts for Valentine's Day.

    You can decorate the entire wreath with just hearts, just make them of different sizes and several shades of red or Pink colour. For Easter, you can add eggs, chicken or bunny figures to the flowers. The simplest base for a wreath is a circle made of thick cardboard.

    You can add volume by laying foam rubber or padding polyester on cardboard and wrapping it with regular or construction tape. In Fig. 21-22 base of newspaper tubes wrapped toilet paper, then you can secure everything on top with double-sided tape. A decorative layer is applied to the tape, which in this case will lie more tightly.

    In Fig. Figure 23 shows the base for a heart-shaped wreath. A corrugated pipe is put on the cardboard heart. The edges of the pipe must be cut obliquely and secured with glue, thread or wire. In Fig. 24, the cardboard circle is given volume by wrapping it with crumpled paper and thread. Of course, a base made of rolled twigs is very appropriate for spring wreaths, but not everyone has the opportunity to make it. For Easter, thin willow branches with seals are suitable. Fresh branches need to be bent into a ring and tied. At room temperature they will dry fairly quickly and retain their shape. If you have a piece of thick hose, you can roll it into a circle and connect it to a cardboard cylinder, which is inserted inside both ends (another option is a plug or a piece of tube of suitable diameter). You can connect them with glue and tighten them with wire for reliability. You can decorate it with colored threads, satin ribbon or a strip of fabric, burlap (Fig. 25, 27).

    Very interesting option- cover the base with peas, as in fig. 26. Colored semolina or rice will also work. Moreover, it’s better if you mix the grains different shades. The cereal is poured into a bowl with a diameter larger than the diameter of the wreath. The base is smeared with glue using a brush and lowered into the container. Distribute the sprinkles evenly with your hands. On ready-made base stick on whatever you see fit: flowers, hearts, eggs, etc. Flowers can be one of the most different materials: paper, fabric, felt, napkins. You can take quail or chicken eggs. You need to pour out the contents by making two punctures at opposite ends. You can paint them with acrylic paint or decorate them in another way. On March 8, you can make a wreath in the shape of a figure eight and decorate your home or classroom with it. With your help, children can easily make DIY crafts for school, ideas which were presented here.

    The simplest and most affordable material that can be used in the production of various works is paper and cardboard. Sometimes you don't even need to buy them. After all, in any house you can find packing boxes, cardboard inserts, cylinders of used toilet paper or paper towels, old magazines and newspapers, egg trays. If we add to this plastic bottles, then an immense scope for creativity opens up. Typically, DIY crafts for school made from paper are most often represented by appliqué. Even a regular applique looks more attractive using the iris folding technique (Fig. 41-44). Choose a drawing for your child, print it out, and if you don’t have a printer, you can simply redraw it by placing a sheet of paper on the monitor screen. All that remains is to select colored paper and cut strips. This technique is not at all difficult and requires only accuracy. The result is wonderful. You can make flowers from paper.

    Look what a beautiful sakura branch we made from napkins (Fig. 33-36). The child will be happy to cut out flowers. The basis of the craft is an ordinary branch that can be cut in a garden, forest or park. If you are not satisfied with the appearance of the bark, paint it with acrylic paint, but this is not at all necessary. Glue flowers from 2-3 layers using a gun or regular glue. The main thing is that it is not too liquid so that the napkin does not blur from it. Roses and carnations are made from napkins. If you make the stems from wire, which can also be wrapped in a green napkin or covered with plasticine, you will get a wonderful bouquet.

    DIY crafts for school from cardboard can be very diverse. These are, first of all, toys and panels made in various techniques. It would be so nice to decorate the walls of the nursery, and not only that, with the works of our children. But sometimes there is some incompleteness. It will help make the work more attractive and complete (Fig. 37-40).

    In the simplest case, it can be made of thick cardboard, covered with paper or painted to match. But frames decorated with grains, cereals, shells or even buttons look much more attractive. All this is glued onto a cardboard base. Various pasta products are great; this frame can then be painted with spray paint in the desired color. Old magazines will also be used. Tubes made from magazine sheets rolled up using a thin knitting needle are good without painting, but if desired, they can also be painted. The cardboard can be wrapped with colored threads and decorated with applique in the same style in which the main work was done.

    Corrugated cardboard itself is very interesting material. An example of this is the frame in Fig. 40. Narrow strips are cut from packaging material for refrigerators and televisions. Located on the edge, so that the texture of the material is visible, they do not even require painting. The frame is enlivened by additional decorative elements- butterflies and flowers, bright appliqué, which look very fresh against the brownish background of cardboard. Frames are a wonderful gift. You can insert photos or works done by children into them. The main thing is that the frame is in harmony with the craft and serves as a background, and does not distract attention from it.

    Easter Cockerel in Fig. 45 is made of paper, cardboard and egg trays. The container can be made by covering an inflated balloon toilet paper or newspapers soaked in PVA glue or regular starch paste. Pieces of paper or newspapers need to be glued in several layers until you achieve the desired thickness. Just remember to lubricate the ball before using any thick cream. When the paper is dry, the air is released from the ball. The dried product is cut in half lengthwise using a breadboard knife.

    Next, make petals from egg trays. The technique is similar to making flowers. They make a head and paws from them. For paws you will need an outlet for each. The head starts with one rosette, 4 rows in total. In each subsequent row the number of petals increases. For wings, glue the petals in rows onto cardboard in the shape of a wing. The beak is rolled into a cone from cardboard, and the comb and tail feathers are cut out. The finished work is painted with acrylic paint. All that remains is to fill out original vase Easter eggs.

    While some parents buy their children a huge amount of notebooks, pens and pencils, other parents manage to save money by creating some of the school supplies with their own hands - such stationery is cheaper, more unusual, and much more beautiful than standard ones. In this review there are three sites where you can learn how to make stationery delights at home for primary and secondary school students in the “Back to school” style.

    From bookmark to diary
    http://kaboose.com

    A student, regardless of age, needs a properly organized space: everything is at hand, nothing gets lost, if something needs to be written down urgently, there is always a paper surface and a pen. On the website kaboose.com you can get a lot of ideas for rational organization of space. So, for example, there is detailed instructions for making a writing board for notes, a pen holder, a cute craft pencil case and many other useful things. Like most of the sites I write about, most things can be created from scrap materials.

    The website contains an excellent selection of tips for practicing handmade crafts with students high school. Here you can learn how to make a lapma with a silhouette portrait, like in an 18th-century boudoir, handmade Christmas garlands, a homemade hula hoop, a file cabinet for school records, or a unique tea bag.

    The DTK website has a lot of craft ideas for younger students. Basically, this is what parents most likely did themselves in childhood, but over time they forgot all these “little secrets.” For example, how to make a decoration for an ordinary ballpoint pen from fluff and feathers. When you figure out what to teach your child, you remember what you once were like.

    The good thing about playing with dolls is that it is never monotonous, because you can constantly come up with new stories and conditions, fantasize and gush with ideas, bringing the dolls to life and creating for them a huge world similar to ours.

    Therefore, in addition to doll clothes or shoes, for a full-fledged game you need a lot more, for example, all kinds of school supplies, if your favorite toy is going together with first-graders on a trip for knowledge.

    Since there will be a lot of plots for the game, do not rush to buy things and accessories for dolls, because most of them can be made quite simply and quickly from available materials with your own hands.

    Collecting a doll for school

    Every student knows what things to carry with them to school, so even a month before the start school year Everyone is trying to make huge purchases of necessary school supplies. We will do an equally important task - we will prepare school supplies for dolls with our own hands.

    If your child is a fan of the now popular toys, then you are probably familiar with Monster High dolls. This is a whole line of dolls - children of the most famous monsters and monsters in history. All their offspring have gathered together and are now studying at Monster High.

    It is for these toys that today a huge number of additional parts, accessories, furniture, wardrobe items, etc. are created. And fans invent and make a lot of things for them on their own and with their own hands.

    So, what can you do for Monster High students using school supplies:

    • first of all, the doll will need a briefcase or a backpack - it can be made, in fact, like a standard backpack in sporty style or casual style and on straps, or you can make it in the form of a serious and stylish leather briefcase with a handle, which is carried in the hand;
    • for studying you will also need notebooks and books - it is better to make more notebooks so that you have them in stock, and make books that you want your doll to study with, that is, based on the necessary subjects;
    • further, a diary is a very necessary thing;
    • do not forget about all kinds of stationery - pens of different colors, a simple pencil and colored pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, a ruler, scissors, glue and other school supplies - everything you have enough patience and imagination for;
    • if your Monster High doll likes to draw, you can make an easel and a paint palette for her;
    • for particularly advanced monsters you will need a laptop or at least a laptop;
    • if you plan to make an entire classroom at Monster High, you will need a blackboard, desks with chairs, and other school furniture - racks or shelves, a teacher’s desk, bookcases, etc.

    Believe me, making such things is not at all difficult, moreover, it is also not expensive, since you can make it from anything, using any waste materials. Let's try?

    Let's get down to business

    Let's start with the portfolio. Let's look at the stylish one first. classic version leather or suede model with a handle.

    1. Take the pattern and attach it to the piece genuine leather or suede and cut out the main part of the product.
    2. Sew from the front side, then take a sheet of thick paper cut to the size of the unfolded briefcase, spread it thickly with glue and glue it to the wrong side.
    3. Fold the edges around the paper and stitch along the fold.
    4. Then fold the edges to the wrong side, connect the edges and stitch the four corners.
    5. After this, turn the product right side out and see if there are any protruding corners of suede/leather. If yes, then glue them tightly to the paper.
    6. If you want, you can add a small pocket for your mobile phone.
    7. Attach a handle on top, and also decorate the briefcase with straps or clasps to your liking.

    It can be done much simpler: just cut out a rectangle of leather/suede and fold it, gluing halves of a wide ice cream stick on the sides - you will instantly have a small briefcase, to which all you have to do is attach a button and attach a handle on top.

    A fabric backpack is also easy to sew, the main thing is to choose a pattern. You can also fold a briefcase out of paper.

    Now let's make a laptop.

    1. Find and print an image of an open laptop, that is, a view of the screen and keyboard.
    2. Then attach this fragment to a piece of thick cardboard, trace it and cut it out, cutting it into two separate elements.
    3. Cover them completely with black tape and secure them with a piece of tape of the same color so that these cardboard blanks close and open like a laptop.
    4. Now cut your screen and keyboard and glue it to the inside spread (you can use clear tape).
    5. Add a picture to the screen to simulate a working machine.
    6. You can stick the Monster High school emblem on top.

    If you have basic carpentry skills, you can make a desk and chairs from wood, focusing on the proposed diagrams and dimensions in the master class. If you want a simpler option, then glue together furniture from corrugated cardboard, using ordinary drinking straws or old felt-tip pens as a frame. You can color the products acrylic paints.

    To make the board, cut out rectangles of the same size from corrugated cardboard and plastic, then you will need the following:

    • coat a piece of corrugated cardboard with glue and glue it to a sheet of white paper;
    • cut off half the excess paper, and in the part where the cardboard is glued, cut off only the corners, and wrap the rest under a rectangle and glue it well;
    • Use hot glue to glue a plastic rectangle on top of the workpiece (can be replaced with transparent wide tape);
    • the gluing points can be hidden using strips cut from silver cardboard - this will be a frame;
    • to make a stand for markers, cut out a small rectangle from silver cardboard and draw lines on it at a small distance from each other in width and length;
    • cut off the corners at the bottom and fold the cardboard along the fold lines, then glue the sides and glue the stand to the board;
    • to make markers, cut two pieces from a regular ear stick - one and two centimeters each, then insert a toothpick through the larger piece and try it on so that a small piece fits on it - this will be a cap, cut off all the excess;
    • paint over the protruding parts of the toothpick with a marker of any color, and use it to paint the ear stick cap;
    • There is something to write on the board, but you also need to erase what you have written - take a piece of an old eraser and a small piece of thick soft fabric, glue the fabric to the eraser on one side, and cut off the excess - you will get a nice washcloth.

    As you can see, there is nothing complicated. Same with other accessories:

    • for example, to make an original pencil case, you can use a ziplock bag decorated with decorative tape and a marker;
    • to make colored pencils, cut off the ends of toothpicks and carefully color them and the tips in required colors using markers or colored pens;
    • a simple pencil is made in the same way, just don’t forget to paint a pink eraser and a silver metal clip on its end;

    • the handle can be made from a straightened paperclip or wire with a curved edge - fill the entire length with beads and secure the tip with glue;
    • You can get miniature notebooks if you print out sheets of paper in a small square or line, divide them into rectangles (3.5*5 cm) and make margins in each of them with a red pencil, then cut out the leaves and fold them in half, for the cover take colored paper and staple them together all sheets together with the cover in the middle with a stapler;
    • to make textbooks, make a miniature printout of the pages and cover of the book you need, cut the pages into strips and glue them into one long strip, fold the strip like an accordion, ironing the folds well, then glue the pages from the inside and make a cover from cardboard.

    Hurry up and collect your dolls for school, because it’s not difficult at all, and the first bell will ring soon. Inspiration to you and successful implementation of your ideas!
