    23.07.2019

    Hello dear readers!

The New Year is just around the corner and I won’t get tired of repeating this. Because I really miss you and want a lot of white snow as soon as possible. And, in order to bring me closer and raise my pre-holiday mood, I try to write articles only on New Year’s topics. And today is no exception, we will talk about colorful postcards. Which each of you probably wants to receive. So, in order not to wait for anyone, I suggest you start creating yourself.

The most popular materials for making postcards are cardboard and paper. Do you agree with me? Who owns these items the most? Of course, our children, their imagination is a hundred times richer. This is exactly what we need. Let's combine our strengths and the result will be great work. which will become the perfect gift, as for loved one, and for a work colleague.

I remember that in the previous article we already discussed the topic. Therefore, if you are planning to create souvenirs with the symbol of the year, then go. And if you are interested in beads, then there is a job for you. Made in this style, they will become a wonderful home decoration. There are many options, the main thing is not to be lazy and start now.

This note was written specifically for our kids. What I mean is that you shouldn’t leave them aside. Be sure to involve them in your work. You will see this activity will be much more exciting for parents and their children.

New Year cards for 2019 pigs (templates)

I think we should start our selection with classic ideas. Although from my own experience I will say that each job is unique. Despite the step-by-step scheme, each of you will put something new into your work. Someone will add decorations or change the decoration. Here's how your fantasy works. In any case, a handmade postcard turns out a hundred times more beautiful than a purchased one.

Let's look at two options. You will decide and choose the appropriate one. Or maybe you should take note of both. Here the choice is only yours.

And here it is one of the first works. As you can see in the picture there is a bear. But as it approaches us coming year Yellow Earth Pig, then a pink pig will look perfect against this background.

Let's prepare the necessary material. We'll need a little of it. And you will probably find it in your home.

    We will need:

    • A4 cardboard
    • Acrylic paint or gouache white
    • Markers

    For decoration:

    • Jute thread
    • cinnamon pod
    • Sweet lollipop
    • Decorative sprig of rowan

    Manufacturing technique:

    1. Take a sheet of cardboard and bend it exactly in the middle. To make the fold line more stable, walk along it with a wooden skewer or knitting needle. Now we apply a drawing to one of the front sides using a simple pencil. The movements should be light, do not display the picture too brightly. Please note that in the future we will paint it white.

Decide on a design; it can be absolutely anything. You can draw a pig for the coming year.

2.Now that your sketch is ready, you can start painting. Take a brush with a fine tip. Make sure that the “hairs” of the brush point in one direction. It is advisable to use acrylic paint; you can use gouache, but in this case it should be quite thick. We decorate the figure of the bear.

We will draw the eyes and nose using a black marker or felt-tip pen. We draw patterns in the same way. You can outline the drawing, thereby making it a little brighter.

    3. To give our postcards Christmas mood You can apply small dots in the form of snow. Thus showing them in the form of snowflakes. Well, now we can start decorating. For this we need a decorative sprig of rowan, sweet caramel and cinnamon. Tie all the presented material with jute thread. Then wrap it around the card, securing the ends on the wrong side.

You can do it a little differently. Prepare the decor, secure it with jute thread, and then attach it to ready-made postcard using hot glue. And then you won’t need to wrap all the work. Ready product will be in the public domain for discovery.

This is the kind of work you should get in finished form. Feel free to get creative and add a little more decoration.

Time to move on to the second option. We will make a postcard from cardboard and add more decorations. By the way, we will use the shape of a deer as symbols of the New Year. Which can be replaced with any other. Perhaps it will be a piggy.

    We will need:

    • Black cardboard
    • Silhouette of a deer in white
    • Rhinestones and sequins
    • White gouache
    • Brush
    • Transparent oilcloth
    • Scissors

    For decoration:

    • Cinnamon
    • Sweet lollipop

    Manufacturing technique:

    1. First of all, you need to make a basic form from cardboard. To do this, we cut out the cardboard so that if we fold it in half we get a square. Then carefully select the core using a knitting needle or other sharp material.

Now open the resulting form. And on one of the inner sides draw two lines diagonally. Our task is to find the very center. Found it? Insert the tip of a compass into it and draw a circle.

Then change sides of the compass. Place it in the center with a pencil, and with the tip, go around the circle several times. This way we will achieve the desired effect and can cut out a circle using a stationery knife.

    2. Now that you’ve completed one part of the work, it’s time to move on to the rest. Look at this product at this stage you should get it. Let's continue making it. Take a brush and dip the tip into the paint. Then shake it a little over the cardboard. Thus, small “drops” will appear in the form of a starry sky.

    3. Now let's start decorating the circle that we cut in advance in the cardboard. Be sure to go over the outline with white paint (gouache).

Take a transparent oilcloth and transfer the shape of a circle onto it. Use a felt-tip pen to make the outlines clearly visible.

Now in the resulting circle we put our decorative elements. Cover with the other side of the oilcloth. Carefully go over the iron (placing paper under it).

The iron temperature should be minimal. Otherwise the result will be negative.

    4. Now we need to attach the same oilcloth to our postcard. Take cardboard with the center cut out. We put our decorative part on the inside. Please note that in the window that we made before, sequins and rhinestones are visible. Go over the iron again, but this time around the entire edge. Pressing it firmly against the cardboard itself.

Paint the other side black. You can paint it, but then let it dry thoroughly.

You can draw stars on a black background. Or any other image related to the New Year.

Our work is almost ready. All that's left is to add a little decoration, that's what we'll do now. Take cinnamon and sweet caramel. Fasten them together using jute thread. Then secure it to the card itself with glue.

Now we secure the deer by cutting it out of white cardboard in advance. By the way, the shape of the figure can be absolutely any. I will post several templates from which you can choose the appropriate option.

The flying pig option is just super. It seems to me that such a silhouette would look perfect in the picture.

And here is a piggy bank in the form of a piggy bank. Personally, its shape reminds me of this particular item. What do you think?

And finally, a classic pig carcass. Which, it seems to me, decided to have a little snack. So we dealt with this subsection. I think it's time to move on to the next equally interesting title.

DIY New Year's cards made of paper and cardboard

Well, are you ready to create miracles with your own hands? To make the job perfect, I suggest considering several options. Let's start with the most simple ideas. For the manufacture of which we need a minimum of material. But you still have to put in a little effort.

And here is one of the options for works made of cardboard. I think everything is clear from the diagram. First of all, print it out, then transfer it to paper. Carefully cut out and make marks at the folds.

We cut out additional parts and attach them to the prepared cardboard with glue. Choose colors that are more contrasting so that they differ from the main shape. Don't forget to attach the ties; you can use a satin ribbon for this role.

Another idea is “minimalism”. It’s all quite simple: just take white cardboard. Bend it exactly in the middle. On the inside, draw the shape of a Christmas tree. Immediately use a dotted line to indicate the cut points to avoid confusion in the future. Now take a utility knife and cut off the parts marked with a dotted line. By the way, the drawing in in this case could be anything.

Now we open our card and on the side where there is no picture we glue colored paper in a contrasting color. By the way, you can choose a shade that is not a single color, but stick to the New Year’s version. The picture shows one of the symbols of the New Year.

For example, this picture in this work seems to me to look much more interesting. These bells and snowflakes will give the finished work a festive look and lift your spirits. Here are a couple more ideas that your kids will surely like.

Deer is another symbol of any new year. It doesn’t matter in what form it is depicted in a single or harnessed state. In any case, their image alone already tells us about the upcoming winter holiday.

No less interesting option background template. Made in green with the addition of Christmas trees and snowflakes. And these multi-colored circles are like festive balls fallen from a thorny tree.

Look, the work seems to be similar, but thanks to a different design, it looks a little different.

Let's move a little away from this postcard. I think with this work everything is more than clear. Let's move on to the next product, made similarly from cardboard.

Do you want to make beauty like this with minimal time? Just try a little and you will definitely succeed.

Have you prepared the cardboard? Yes! Then let's get to work, no complex template. Thanks to which everything will definitely work out. We make notches in the fold areas. To make these folds more precise, go over them with a knitting needle or something else sharp.

Be sure to pay attention to the size. If you follow the diagram exactly, then there will be no inaccuracies in manufacturing.

Here's what your finished work will look like when expanded. By the way, you can change it a little appearance. And words of congratulations can be completely different. Think about this moment.

For decoration you can use beads, rhinestones and even sequins. They should be attached with hot glue to be more sure that they will not fall off.

A slightly similar option to the previous one. But the congratulatory part will be inserted. That is, if necessary, it can be removed and put back in place. By the way, you can play a little with color. To make it brighter, then the color of the ribbon should be chosen appropriately.

Prepare the base for the card by folding the cardboard in half. Measure the length of the front part. Now we cut out strips of the same length from colored paper. Then we glue them to the front of the future card.

For decoration we will use a Christmas tree. To do this, cut out the shape of a Christmas tree from thicker cardboard. Then we connect four threads of different colors into one and wrap our workpiece. We secure the beginning and end of the thread with hot glue.

Now we attach all the decorations made to the postcard.

Like these ones great ideas we have considered it with you. I don't think we should dwell on this. Let's gather our strength and move on.

Making a postcard with children from colored paper (master class)

So let's start making the next work. I promise your children will like this work. We will make it from colored paper and cardboard. Of course, we will also need glue and scissors. The color of the postcard should be decided in advance.

So for starters, let's choose suitable color cardboard Then let's put it in two. This way we get two equal parts. Using a ruler you can measure again.

Now let's start making parts. By adding them up in the future we will get a pig. We will cut out the parts according to the template.

Be sure to indicate dotted lines on the blanks. So as not to confuse the fold line in the future.

We attach the cut out templates to colored paper, in our case yellow color. We trace along the contour and then cut it out. Now attach the yellow blank to the template. And using a ruler, bend it along the dotted line. You can see it more step by step in the photo below.

We do the same with all the details. If for anyone, it’s not entirely clear, I’ll repeat it again. We take in our hands a cut-out blank made of colored paper. Then connect it to the template (where the dotted lines are indicated). And you bend two parts folded on top of each other along these lines.

Please note that the ears are on both sides. And this means that the direction for both is different. Therefore, do not confuse the templates when you transfer to colored paper.

You probably have all the parts already prepared, I suggest moving on to the next stage. Let's start creating a postcard with you. We take the cardboard in our hands, which we initially folded into two equal parts. We open it and get to work, we will fasten the prepared parts directly in the center. We'll start with the piggy's legs. Fasten so that the convex part is on the outside.

Now let's start attaching the remaining parts. The method is basically the same, no different from the previous one.

For greater stability, it is recommended to fasten all parts with glue.

Now all that remains is to add a patch. Cut out a circle from yellow colored paper. Draw an outline of a more contrasting color. And we draw small holes with a black felt-tip pen, which is typical for any nose.

We attach it tightly to the main part of the card. Make sure that the fold line of the workpiece coincides with the center of the product.

You can put something under the patch so as not to stain the base made in the shape of a pig's head.

Now we attach the eyes using the same glue. We decorate the card with flowers and balls, cutting them all out of the same colored paper in advance.

Our work is ready, now we are thinking about who will become the owner of such beauty. By the way, the front side can be decorated with the same colors. Or maybe someone will want to write congratulatory words.

New Year card ideas for children 3-4 years old

Well, we got to our kids. As I promised, we will not stop them aside. I propose to consider the most popular ideas for making cards for children aged 3 and 4 years. To be more precise, preschoolers.

Whose kids love to create with their hands? I think each of you will answer this question positively. And when the holiday concerns the New Year, Santa Claus and even a gift. They are ready to make something funny and interesting with double strength. And you and I, as parents, must definitely help them with this.

You probably know that many children at this age can be very restless. That's why I think I'll start with the fastest jobs. Which can be done in one go and, by the way, with minimal consumption of material.

And here is one of the first options. We make the main part by bending A4 size cardboard in half. And then we start decorating the front part. By the way, such a product can be used in the form of a letter from Santa Claus. By writing something on the inside.

Here is another job done quite easily by the way. In this case, strips of various widths and lengths are cut out and then attached to the base. Parents' help will be needed here. Since not all children at this age are able to work with scissors.

I’ll tell you a secret that all children like this card. To be more precise, they treat the image of the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus with great trepidation. And in general, any product made by hand is for them a whole job. It’s great when such beauty can be created from improvised means. As you can see, these are cotton pads, plasticine and ordinary threads from which the braid is made.

Did you know that you can make a 3D postcard with kids? By the way, such work will take you a minimum of time. And as a result, we will receive maximum positive emotions.

In this work, you can use napkins of completely different colors. And for decoration, use sequins or rhinestones, thereby imitating christmas balls.

And in conclusion, I would like to present to your attention another postcard in 3D style. By the way, attached to it is a detailed step by step description. Therefore, questions should not arise at this stage.

Working with scissors again, please don't leave your children unattended. Working with these metal objects is very dangerous, especially for such small ones.

Well, now for those who like something more serious. We will make the product in a more complex style. Which one, you will find out by going a little lower.

The tradition of giving cards on occasion of significant events and holidays dates back more than two centuries. Despite the fact that modern information technologies have entered our lives: mobile communications and the Internet, we still rejoice when we receive a gift from loved one colorful postcard for the New Year with your own hands.

However modern cards look completely different from those we received twenty years ago. We no longer want to congratulate each other with the faceless products of the printing industry, which churned them out in unlimited quantities.

Boring standard cardboards were replaced by postcards, skillfully made on their own, into which the person who made them put a piece of his soul, warmth and care. One of our favorite holidays has always been the New Year: it is with it that we associate our dreams and hopes for a better future, and exchange gifts with people close to us.

A handmade card can be a pleasant addition to a gift. It is not at all difficult to make, since the materials for its manufacture ( colored paper, cardboard, satin ribbons, bright shreds, beads, sequins, braid) can be found in every home. The task will become even easier if you purchase a special scrapbooking kit in the store (this is what the art of making postcards is called).

In addition to materials, we may need a figured hole punch, openwork or zigzag scissors, and a set of decorative stamps.

An original postcard for a man can be a pocket in which New Year's greetings are inserted. IN last years appeared fashion trend It is imperative to link the congratulatory text with the patron saint of the coming year - one of the twelve animals of the Chinese horoscope.

Having found a suitable poem on the Internet, we add everything that we want to wish to our dear person and print the text on a home printer. Of course, for this we need a piece of thick cardboard, the edges of which can be tinted acrylic paints and decorate with ornaments using suitable stamps.

How to make a pocket postcard?

    For this we need:

    • A piece of thick gift paper with a “masculine” design.
    • Small details (maybe some knightly paraphernalia taken from a children's game).
    • Several sisal fibers.
    • Small snowflakes.
    • Cloves (spicy, a few pieces).
    • A string of artificial pearls.
    • Artificial berries and imitation spruce branches.
    • Silver ribbon bow.
    • Silver braid.
    1. We model and glue an original pocket envelope from gift paper.
    2. We carefully cover the edges of the pocket with narrow silver braid.
    3. In the lower left corner of the pocket we create a beautiful composition from sisal fibers, beads, berries, snowflakes and a spruce twig. It is advisable to place fragrant carnations among artificial pine needles: they will imitate fir cones, while simultaneously scenting the card.
    4. In the foreground of the composition we attach small details (an imitation of a weapon, a shield or a fragment of knight’s armor).
    5. At the top of the congratulations sheet we attach a small but effective bow made of silver braid, decorated with a snowflake and a bunch of artificial berries.
    6. We put a beautifully designed congratulation in the finished pocket.

    4. Paste on a beautiful winter landscape (it will be visible from the window).
    5. From strips of ceiling tiles or thick felt we make an imitation of a window frame and paste it on top of the winter landscape.
    6. We make a lambrequin from a piece of ribbon lace and attach it to the top of the frame.
    7. We make curtains from scraps of tulle or guipure, glue them to the sides of the window, tie them with a narrow braid and tie it with a bow.
    8. Under the window we place a strip with a beautifully executed congratulatory inscription. It can be printed on a printer or cut out from old postcard using curly scissors.

Even the most simple card with an applique made by a child’s hands will be a very expensive gift for his mother.

Give your baby a sheet of cardboard folded in half and a leaf of fern (or any dried plant whose leaves are shaped like a Christmas tree).

    • Glue the leaf on the front side of the card: this will be the basis of the New Year tree.
    • We decorate the Christmas tree with ready-made sparkles or circles of confetti, which the child can independently make from colored foil or pages of a glossy magazine.
    • Taking a thin brush and white gouache, you can depict snowflakes swirling around the Christmas tree.
    • We make imitation snowdrifts from pieces of cotton wool and glue them under the Christmas tree.
    • The congratulatory inscription (if the child can already write) can be made by hand.
    • The same applies to the text of the congratulation: made with touching children's doodles, it will warm any mother to the depths of her soul.

    2. We mark out the future card and decide on the size of the Christmas tree.
    3. We cut scrap paper into rectangles, roll them up and glue them into tubes. The length of the tubes should be different, corresponding to our preliminary markings.
    4. Having made a sufficient number of tubes, we begin to glue the Christmas tree onto the cardboard. We place the longest pieces down. With each new tier their length should decrease. We glue the tubes together.
    5. We decorate the finished Christmas tree with ready-made sparkles, beads and seed beads.
    6. Together with the child, we write congratulations to our beloved dad.

    3. Cover the window with a piece of silver metallized cardboard.
    4. We decorate the edge of the cut window using paper napkin with lace edges (we cut out the middle of the napkin to the same diameter).
    5. We make the volumetric edging of the window from thick felt: having made the necessary markings, cut out a ring and glue it on top of the paper lace, like a frame.
    6. The edges of the felt frame can be decorated with gel with silver glitter.
    7. Place a snowflake in the center of the window and glue it to silver cardboard.
    8. At the top of what we got Christmas ball we glue an imitation of a metal fastener, made from the same silver cardboard.
    9. On both sides of the “mount” we strengthen paper spruce branches (ready-made or cut out ourselves).
    10. We decorate the center of the “fastening” with a bow made of silver ribbon.

    Necessary materials:

    • A piece of thick cardboard.
    • Cardboard with silver letters.
    • Picture with the image of the Snow Maiden.
    • Gel with glitter.
    • Wool yarn.
    • Finished silver snowflakes.
    • Satin braid, strip of floral mesh, beads, sequins.

    Execution sequence:

    1. Fold the cardboard in half. To the front side using sewing machine We attach a piece of beautiful thick cardboard with silver letters. Thanks to this application, the postcard will be both stronger and more solid.
    2. Using a simple pencil, we mark the round window (the edges of the circle can be made curly). Cut out the window using a utility knife.
    3. In order for the postcard to acquire an original look, you can select the window using beautiful frame. To make it, take a beautiful cardboard and make a free-form edging. Glue it using Titan glue.
    4. We will outline the outer and inner edges of the frame with gel with silver glitter.
    5. Let's decorate the frame on one edge with snowflakes, an elegant bow made of braid, wool yarn and floral mesh.
    6. We cover the inside with light paper and write New Year's greetings.

For your beloved son, you can make a postcard using the now popular quilling technique. Skillfully made mittens will clearly demonstrate how great a mother’s desire is to please her child.

    Necessary materials:

    • Blue cardboard.
    • Narrow strips of red and white paper.
    • Beads and sequins.
    • Satin ribbon.
    • A congratulatory inscription printed on a color printer and cut out with curly scissors.

    Execution sequence:

    1. We make the base of the card from blue cardboard.
    2. From thick white cardboard we cut out images of a pair of warm mittens and tightly fill them with red paper ribbons twisted into spirals. The edges of the mittens are made of white stripes, and their middle is decorated with sequins.
    3. We place the finished mittens in the very center of the front side, connecting them with a satin ribbon and tying it with a bow.
    4. We decorate the upper corners with elegant white flowers imitating Frost patterns. Glue glitter in the centers of the flowers.
    5. In the lower corners we make “frosty” curls, decorated with transparent beads.
    6. We attach a congratulatory inscription under the mittens.

A voluminous postcard for the New Year of the Goat (sheep) is a wonderful reason to please your beloved girl by giving her a talisman postcard depicting a cute sheep - the patron saint of the coming year. To make it you will need no more than half an hour and a modest set of materials. So, we need:

    • A sheet of white and thick textured paper.
    • A piece of black half-cardboard.
    • Ready-made eyes for toys.
    • Scissors: simple and curly.

    Manufacturing sequence:

    1. Fold white textured paper in half and draw a circle on it using a compass or any round-shaped object.
    2. We cut out the circle with curly scissors, leaving a small piece of the fold untouched so that the card can open.
    3. From scraps of white paper we make an oval hat and a small round tail.
    4. On a sheet of black cardboard we outline a muzzle, a pair of ears and four legs. We cut out all the parts using regular scissors.
    5. Before assembling the postcard, we lay out all the details, achieving the greatest expressiveness of the image. Our card will stand, so we need to position the legs so that they match.
    6. Carefully glue all the parts, promptly removing excess glue with a soft cloth.
    7. Our amulet card is ready. You just need to write the most nice words inside and give it to your beloved girl along with a New Year's gift.

It’s quite possible to make a postcard for your brother to a small child. Of course, if an adult family member helps with the work. Let's find out how to make it using a fashionable technique called cardmaking.

Our postcard will be a bright picture with edging made of base cardboard. To accomplish this we need:

    • A sheet of very thick cardboard (21/15 cm in size).
    • Set of colored velvet paper.
    • Double-sided bulk tape.
    • Star sequins.
    • Metal chain (22-25 cm long).
    • Several acrylic or metal pendants and rings for attaching them.
    • Sintepon or cotton wool.
    • Titan glue or glue stick. In extreme cases, regular office glue will do.
    • Regular scissors and zigzag scissors.
    • Special press eyelet and three eyelets.

    Execution steps:

    1. Using zigzag scissors, cut out a rectangle measuring 18/11 cm from blue velvet paper and glue it to a sheet of white cardboard: this is the background of our postcard.
    2. Using the same scissors, we cut out a triangular (with sides 6/9/9 cm) Christmas tree from green velvet paper. We decorate it with star sequins.
    3. We attach strips of bulk tape to the back of the Christmas tree and place it on the card.
    4. We make two New Year's boots for gifts from red velvet paper and secure them with the same tape.
    5. In the same way we cut out and glue the house.
    6. We make holes in three places using a grommet press. Using detachable rings, we attach a chain to the card and decorate it with funny pendants.
    7. To imitate a snowball, we use lumps of cotton wool, attaching them to the roof of the house, boots and at the base of the Christmas tree.

A very delicate and original card made of beads can please your beloved sister. It will take no more than a quarter of an hour to make, but the result will be a very nice addition to the gift.

    Required materials:

    • Thick blue cardboard.
    • Three pieces New Year's paper with a pattern of similar colors.
    • Pearlescent white beads of different diameters (preferably three sizes).
    • Flat double-sided tape.
    • Narrow nylon ribbon.
    • Hot glue.

    Sequence of work:

    1. We make a square postcard from cardboard.
    2. We decorate the front side with squares and rectangles of New Year's paper, placing them randomly on cardboard and gluing them with double-sided tape. The most important thing is that the composition is original and harmonious.
    3. Using a simple pencil, make a light sketch of the silhouette of the Christmas tree and begin gluing the beads of the bottom row using hot glue. During the gluing process, we alternate the beads by size, trying to place the smallest of them in the upper tiers of the Christmas tree.
    4. Having glued the Christmas tree, we make an elegant bow from translucent nylon tape at the bottom of the card. To do this, use a sharp utility knife to make a small cut in the fold, thread a ribbon through it and tie a bow.

In stores today you can find New Year's cards for every taste. But the editors website believes that homemade ones are much warmer. After all, when we make something for someone with our own hands, we put our love into it.

Below we have collected ideas for beautiful, original and, most importantly, “quick” New Year’s cards, the creation of which does not require any rare materials - beautiful paper, cardboard, and colorful ribbons and buttons lying around the house.

    Volumetric Christmas trees

Volumetric Christmas trees made of white and colored paper are so simple to make that you can make them at the last moment. Read more on the Bog&ide blog.

Making 3D Christmas trees even faster. All you need is a ruler, sharp scissors and cardboard. This blog shows you how to cut them.

    Penguin

We really liked this penguin, well thought out. You will need black and white cardstock (or White paper), a triangle made of orange paper and 2 miniature snowflakes, which we all know how to cut out. The eyes are, of course, the highlight of the postcard, and you will have to look for them at a hobby store (or tear them off from an unnecessary children's toy, with the consent of the children, of course).

    Gifts

This cute and simple card requires 2 sheets of cardstock, a ruler, scissors and glue. And also pieces wrapping paper, which you have left over from gift wrapping, ribbon and ribbon. The manufacturing principle is very simple, but for those who want more details, we recommend taking a look at this blog.

    Santa Claus

A friendly Father Frost (or Santa Claus) can be made in just half an hour. The red hat and pink face are strips of paper pasted onto a card or gift bag. The fur of the hat and beard are made like this: you need to take drawing paper and just tear off the strips the desired shape to create jagged edges. Place on the card over the red and pink stripes. And then draw two squiggles - a mouth and a nose - and two dots - eyes.

    Simple drawings

An irresistible idea in its elegance - to draw with a black gel pen Christmas balls with patterns. The main thing here is to draw the correct circles and mark the lines for the patterns. Everything else won't be difficult - stripes and squiggles that you draw when you're bored.

The same principle that underlies the postcard with black and white balloons. Simple silhouettes, painted with simple patterns, this time in color - best done with felt-tip pens. Warm and very cute.

    Many, many different Christmas trees

A couple more ideas from the Bog&ide blog. For the first one you will need decorative tape or colored cardboard (with or without glitter - now you can easily buy these at an office supply store or in hobby stores). For the second - elegant straws for drinks and good glue.

This is where patterned paper or cardboard left over from children's crafts or wrapping paper for gifts will come in handy. The Christmas trees are sewn in the center - this is not at all necessary, you can glue them on. But if you really want to, you first need to make holes with a thick needle along a ruler, and then sew with thread in 2 rows - up and down, so that there are no gaps left. Draw a snowball with white gouache.

Laconic and stylish idea- a grove of Christmas trees, one of which is glued to foam double-sided tape (and therefore rises above the rest) and decorated with a star.

This card requires 4 or 3 layers of cardboard (you can do without the red one). You can use paper rather than cardboard as a color layer. In the top, white one, cut out a Christmas tree (a stationery knife will do this well) and glue it with double-sided tape for volume.

A round dance of Christmas trees made from various leftover cardboard, scrapbooking paper, and wrapping paper, tied with a simple ribbon and decorated with a button. Try playing with colors and textures - here you can find an incredible number of options using different colored ribbons, paper and even fabric.

Wonderful watercolor so in the spirit of New Year and Christmas! A simple watercolor sketch can be done by anyone, even those who last painted in school years. First, you need to outline the patterns with a pencil, color them, and when dry, carefully erase the pencil sketches and complete the patterns with a felt-tip pen.

    Winter landscape

For this postcard, it is better to use structured cardboard, but you can get by with regular, smooth cardboard - it will still turn out impressive. Using sharp scissors, cut out the snowy landscape and moon and paste it onto a black or dark blue background.

Another, white-green, option for a winter landscape that will take a little more time. If you find velvety cardboard (remember, back in school they made crafts out of this), it will be great; if not, you can simply color the Christmas trees with a felt-tip pen. Snow - polystyrene foam disassembled into peas. You can also use a hole punch to make circles out of cardboard and glue them to the card.

    Hugging snowman

The author of the blog My kid craft made this snowman with her children. The snowman throws his arms up in joy when the card is opened. You can write your wishes inside. Children will be interested in making an applique (and painting their hands and hat), but for those who want everything to be done quickly, the blog has ready-made parts that can be printed on a color printer and simply glued together.

    More snowmen

Snowmen peering inquisitively into the starry sky will look better if you can find a bright ribbon for a scarf.

For that postcard on the left, You need unpainted cardboard, white drawing paper and foam tape to glue the snowman with. Drifts are made simply: you need to tear off the drawing paper so that you get a ragged wavy edge. Fill it in with a blue pencil and blend it with anything, even with your finger or a piece of paper. Also tint the edges of the snowman for volume. For the second You will need buttons, a piece of fabric, eyes, glue and colored markers.

You will want to keep this card for a long time. All you need are circles made of cardboard, a nose and twigs made of colored paper. All this must be assembled using double-sided bulk tape. Draw eyes and buttons with black paint, and a snowball with white gouache or watercolor.

    Balloons

Balls are one of the main symbols of the New Year and Christmas. These are made from velvety colored paper and ribbon. But the balls are so a win-win, what can you allow yourself to fantasize about: make balls from paper with a pattern, wrapping paper, fabric, lace, cut out from a newspaper or a glossy magazine. And you can simply draw the strings.

Another option is to stick paper with a pattern on the inside of the card, and cut out circles on the outside with a sharp stationery knife.

    Volumetric balls

For each of these balls you will need 3-4 identical circles of different colors. Fold each one in half and glue the halves to each other, and the two outer halves to the paper. Another option is colored stars or Christmas trees.

    Multi-colored balls

Wonderful translucent balls are obtained using a regular eraser on a pencil. It’s worth starting with a pencil to outline the outline of the ball. Then dip the eraser into the paint and leave marks on the paper. Fun and beautiful.

    Cards with buttons

Bright buttons will add volume to the cards, and will also evoke subtle associations with childhood.

New Year and modern world remained among those holidays on which it is customary to give each other cards with congratulations and wishes.
