1. First of all, let's make three pom-poms. We make two larger ones - this will be the body and head of the animal, and one, of a different color and smaller, will be the muzzle of a poodle. Make two circles with a hollow core from cardboard. The diameter of the circles depends on the type of pompom you want. Next, we apply the circles to each other and begin to wind light threads. The circle must be filled tightly. Next, slide the blade to get between the two cardboard circles and continue cutting until you reach the cardboard. Next, spread the circles a little and rewind the threads tightly, tying a strong knot. Now you need to remove the cardboard circles and make a second pompom. For the small dark ball, make a small cardboard base and repeat the same steps for making larger pompoms.

Attention!! Do not cut off the long threads that tie the pompoms together in the center.

2. Take the pompom that will be your head and separate some of the threads, tying them. This will be the dog's face. Trim off the excess threads and try to give the ball a slightly elongated shape. Untie the threads that separated the muzzle from the rest of the head, now it will be more shaggy.

3. Glue a small pompom to the part of the muzzle with “shaggy” threads.

4. Now you need to twist several pieces of black thread with your fingers, making them into balls. We coat them with PVA glue and let them dry. These will be the eyes and nose. Glue them to the desired places on the muzzle.

5. Using the long threads that we did not cut and used to tie the middle, we connect the head and body to each other, tying the ends tightly. You can coat the joint with a layer of glue.

6. Cut out two long ears from felt fabric and attach them to the head. You can also make a key ring or a string for the finished toy to hang it, for example, on a Christmas tree.

• Dog Pillow

We will need: a large piece soft fabric(plain or checkered); colored flaps for ears and tongue; black, white and beige felt; threads; chalk; cardboard; needle; pencil; padding polyester; scissors.

Manufacturing process:

1. First you need to cut the fabric from which we will sew the pillow. We cut it into two equal rectangles. We make chalk markings for the muzzle, drawing the nose, mouth and place for the eyes. We embroider a convex nose and a smile with black thread.

2. Draw a tongue on cardboard and cut it out, transfer it to fabric and make two identical elements. We sew the tongue and attach it to the puppy’s mouth. Now we draw the eye and pupil on the cardboard. We also cut out and transfer them to white and black felt. Cut out two copies. On beige felt we draw a spot, this is a decoration for the dog’s face, and cut out the element.

3. We assemble the muzzle, for this we sew a spot to the intended parts, and an eye on it, and a pupil on the eye. We also make the dog’s second eye, but without a spot under it.

4. Draw an ear on the cardboard. You need to cut out two elements from black felt and two from bright scraps. Sew them.

5. Lay out two parts of the pillow in front of you: back and front. You need to connect them together; to do this, insert your ears into the junction. The black felt should be at the top. Sew both parts of the pillow to each other from the wrong side, making a stitch on the side parts and bottom, but not all the way, so that you can easily turn the product inside out. Turn the workpiece inside out.

6. Now we stuff the pillow with padding polyester and sew it up. That's all!! Our dog pillow is ready!!

• Dog keychain made of fabric

We will need: felt; bright fabric; buttons, ribbon; threads; padding polyester; paper; cardboard; chalk; fabric glue; scissors; toothpick; key ring.

Manufacturing process:

1. First, save the keychain template, print it and transfer it from paper to cardboard.

2. Cut strips from the tape and fold them in half. Thread the key ring through.

3. Place the cardboard template on felt or fabric, trace with chalk and then cut out two figures.

4. We fold these two elements and sew them together. If the product is made of fabric, then we sew from the inside, and if it is made of felt, then we sew from the front side, and we use contrasting threads. We leave a small cut at the top.

5. Turn the craft inside out. It is convenient to straighten the ears, paws and tail with a toothpick. The figures must be filled with padding polyester. And in the place of the cut we insert a ribbon with a ring and sew the halves together, securing the loop.

6. Now we cut pieces of tape for the collar and attach a button to it, glue it to the puppy’s neck. Our product is ready. You can give such a four-legged friend to your friends.

DIY New Year's crafts made from all sorts of things

Many people, I am 100% sure, have things accumulated at home that are not needed and would be a pity to throw away. Now they will come in handy for us. We will use them to make beautiful elements of New Year's decor.

• Snowman made from a sock

We will need: white sock; filler; small buttons; pins; a piece of fabric; glue.

Manufacturing process:

1. You need to take a long white sock. The bottom part is the cap and the top part of the sock is the torso. Cut the sock so that the cut line passes over the heel.
