The knitted gnome at Christmas is especially popular. Little bearded creatures in red hats look like Santa Claus. With all their appearance, gnomes suggest that you should always believe in miracles. Crocheted, knitted or sewn from felt, wool gnomes - they all look cute and funny.
Who are the gnomes
To make your craft beautiful, with soul and mood, you should learn a little more about fairy-tale characters. The traditional New Year's interior decoration came to us from Norway. On New Year's Eve, you can find a gnome here in every souvenir shop. Gnomes appear on the Christmas trees, on the shelves above the fireplace, next to the Christmas candles. Many gnomes do not happen here on New Year's Eve.

- And with the help of white acrylic and elongated loops, we make “gray” hair along the lower edge of the cap, which will also be the beard of our New Year's gnome.
- After the nose is sewn on and the body is filled with padding polyester, do not forget to insert the cardboard base. So our gnome can confidently stand under the Christmas tree.
If you want to hang a crochet toy on a Christmas tree, make a loop at the top of the headdress. The gnome will turn out even more original if we separately knit long legs for him in striped pants or golfs. To do this, knit two striped tubes, alternating white and red thread. And black boots are knitted at the end. The legs are sewn to the body.
According to this description, you can impose a lot of gnomes and decorate the entire Christmas tree with them. Your crochet gnomes don't have to be red and white. Suitable blue, yellow green color. The main thing is that the cap is high and the beard is fluffy.
The size of the toy can also be completely different. It is convenient to hang little gnomes on a spruce tree or decorate the interior with them. A large dwarf can play the role of a gift keeper and can be placed under the Christmas tree or on the fireplace.
