• How to knit knee socks for girls. Knitted socks, knee socks, leg warmers

    18.07.2019

    (I knitted them for 4 days :)

    Materials and tools:

    • 100 g of LIRA yarn (60% cotton, 40% acrylic, 50g/150m) - one 50-gram skein per 1 golf course,
    • circular knitting needles No. 3,
    • set of double needles No. 2.

    Size 37-38

    Knitting density: 20 p. x 31 r. = 10 x 10 cm

We will knit knee socks from top to bottom.

We start knitting with thicker knitting needles (circular number 3). We cast on 64 loops and knit in a 4 cm circle with a 2 x 2 elastic band (alternating 2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches).

Then we go to the main one:

It will turn out like this:

About 30 cm from the starting row, I switched the knitting to 4 stocking needles No. 2 - 16 stitches each (and knitted with the 5th working needle). Now our golf shoe will become a little narrower at the ankle.

Having knitted 14 rows in this way, we proceed to knitting heels.

Temporarily leave half the loops (32 loops from the 2nd and 3rd needles) and continue knitting in stockinette stitch and on the loops of the 1st and 4th needles (knit rows - knit stitch, purl rows - purl stitch .). We knit 20 rows in stockinette stitch.

We start in the next row decrease heel loops. To do this, we divide the loops into 3 parts (32 = 11+10+11): the side parts are 11 loops each, the central part is 10 loops. We knit the loops of the central part, and gradually decrease the loops of the side parts. We finish each row by knitting together the last loop of the central part (10th) and the first loop of the side (on the front side - 2 knits together, on the wrong side - 2 knits together).

When there are 10 loops left on the knitting needle, we finish knitting the heel. It will look like this:

and on the other hand - like this:

On the knitting needle on which we have 10 loops of the central part of the heel, we will cast on 10 stitches from the edge loops (see photo):

Then we knit openwork pattern loops on the 2nd and 3rd needles set aside. Then we again pull out the edge loops on the knitting needle along the second edge of the heel. We distribute the loops on 4 knitting needles.

We continue knitting on 4 needles (on the 2nd and 3rd needles set aside - in an openwork pattern, on the 1st and 4th - in stockinette stitch).

Having reached the little finger, we begin to make decreases in every second row. To do this, on the 2nd and 4th knitting needles at the beginning of the row we knit 2 loops together, and on the 1st and 3rd knitting needles at the end of the row we make broaches. When there are 5 loops left on each knitting needle, decrease in each row. And after a couple of rows we close and sew the remaining loops.

These are the lace knitted knee socks I got:

PS: It turned out that they were slipping, I would have to sew on elastic bands :)

    Happy knitting.

size 38/39, thread 200m/50g, knitting needles No. 2

Start knitting socks from the cuff (top)

Cast on 64 stitches, distribute onto 4 knitting needles and knit the cuff in the pattern you like. We will consider the middle of the heel to be the beginning of the row (needle 1).
Having knitted required amount rows, we begin to knit the heel on knitting needles 1 and 4.
    Heel wall
The heel is knitted back and forth. It is recommended to knit all stitches from needles 1 and 4 on needle 1 - this makes it easier to knit in reverse rows. Knit for all knit stitches, purl for all purl stitches. At the beginning of the row, remove the first loop without knitting. Work 32 rows in total, ending with a purl row.
    Bottom of the heel
The bottom of the heel is worked in stocking stitch, knit for all knit stitches, purl for all purl stitches.
Row 1 (front side): slip 1 stitch, k15. - (middle of the bottom of the heel), k1, k2 together, k1, turn (no need to wrap loops to turn)
Let's call this loop the last one from which the work turns - (®)
Row 2 (wrong side): slip 1, purl 3, purl 2 stitches together, purl 1, turn.
Row 3 (right side): slip 1, knit. to last stitch (®), k2tog. (knit (®) and the next loop), k1, turn.
Row 4 (wrong side): slip 1, purl. to the last stitch (®), purl 2 together. (knit (®) and the next loop), purl 1, turn.
Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you reach the end of the needle. Finish with a purl row.

    Lifting wedge
Knit to the middle of the heel. Start knitting again on 5 needles. Now you are at the beginning of knitting needles 1. Knit to the end of the heel. Raise 1 stitch from each slipped stitch along the heel wall. To avoid a hole between needles 1 and 2, pick up an extra stitch between two stitches in the corner. Knit needles 2 and 3 with the selected pattern. Needle 4: Pick up an extra stitch in the corner to avoid the hole, then pick up one stitch from each slipped stitch along the heel wall. Knit on the remaining heel stitches until you are again at the beginning of the circular row.
On needles 1 and 4 knit in stockinette stitch, on needles 2 and 3 knit in the selected pattern.
    Decreases:
Decrements are made in each odd round row.
Needle 1: knit to last 3 stitches, pull through, k1.
Needles 2 and 3: knit with the selected pattern.
Needle 4: knit 1, knit 2 stitches together, knit to end.
Repeat decreasing on every odd round until there are 16 stitches left on needles 1 and 4.
    Sole
On needles 1 and 4, continue knitting in stockinette stitch. On needles 2 and 3, knit with the selected pattern. We continue knitting until the little finger. Toe
When the foot reaches 20.5 cm (21.5 cm), begin to perform decreases for the toes. Decrements are made in each odd round row.
Needle 1: knit. to the last 3 loops, pull through, k1.
Needle 2: knit 1, knit 2 stitches together, knit. to the end Spoke 3: knit. to the last 3 loops, pull through, k1.
Needle 4: k1, k2 together, knit. to end
Knit in this way until there are 5 stitches left on each needle.
Knit to the end of needle 1.
Sew up the toe using a tapestry needle using a loop-to-loop stitch.
Hide all ends of the yarn.

Previously, knee socks were an integral element women's wardrobe. And recently, tights and stockings have replaced them. But fashion is back! Knee socks have again gained popularity, especially among young women and girls. After all, they help create different images: from a hooligan-rebel to tender and romantic. We invite you to knit knee socks with knitting patterns and descriptions presented in this article.

    Openwork white knee socks

The model is designed for size 37/38.

    We will need:

    • mixed yarn – cotton/acrylic (50g per 150m) – 100g;
    • set of toe knitting needles. No. 2.

    What patterns will we knit:

    • elastic band: 2 knits x 2 purls;
    • persons satin stitch: when knitting in the round, knit all stitches; when knitting straight - in faces. knit stitches, purlwise. R. – purl;
    • openwork pattern: knit according to the pattern.

Knitting density: 20p. for 31r. correspond to a square of 10 cm by 10 cm.

    Description

The principle of knitting knee socks is exactly the same as when knitting socks in the classic way. We start knitting knee socks with knitting needles from the top.

We dial 64p. and switch to circular knitting, distributing the loops across 4 knitting needles (16 pieces each). We knit 4 cm of elastic and start knitting the openwork pattern.

Having knitted 33 cm, we begin to knit the heel. We do this using the usual description of classic heel knitting for beginners. We work on half the loops (32 pcs.), i.e. on two knitting needles. We perform knitting with forward and reverse knitting. satin stitch 20 rub.

To round the heel, we divide all the loops (32 pcs.) into three parts: 11 sts + 10 sts. +11p.=32p. We continue to knit only the central 10 stitches, grabbing one loop from the outer parts in each row.

We knit these loops with the outer loops of the central part into one loop. As a result, we will only have 10 points of the central part left.

On the side parts of the heel we lift 10 stitches from the edges on each side. We put the previously set aside loops into work and again switch to circular knitting. Moreover, we knit the faces at the bottom of the product. satin stitch, and the top with an openwork pattern.

Having knitted it to the height of the little finger (it is advisable to try it on), we make decreases on the toe: on both sides we knit the outer loops on the knitting needles two at a time.

Moreover, at the beginning of the row it will simply be knitting two loops into one, and at the end - the so-called. broach: remove 1 p. as the front one, we knit 1 l. and stretch it through the removed st. For one row we decrease in this way 4 sts.

When on each sp. There will be 2 stitches left. We break the thread, thread it through the remaining loops, tighten it, and bring it out to the wrong side. side, fasten. Golfs are ready!

Having formed the heel, after decreasing we get 10 sts on the knitting needle. Along the edges of the heel we raise 14 stitches. at both sides. We make one decrease: 2p. knit in 1 p. Taking all the loops into work, we get 63 stitches on the knitting needles. We knit them in a circle: on the 1st and 4th sp. persons Ch., on the 2nd and 3rd sp. jacquard pattern.

    We make reductions:

    1st: *2l. red, 1l. white* - from * to * repeat three times, ** 2l. red, white broach, 3 l. red, 1l. white** - from ** to ** repeat 7 times, ***3l. red, 2p. in 1l. white*** - repeat from *** to *** 5 times. Total 59p.

In another 1 ruble. - a series of decreases. Break the thread, thread it through the remaining loops, pull it off, bring it to the wrong side and fasten.

If desired, you can roll on the top edge - see photo. To do this, turn the edge under and crochet with purple thread: double crochet at the strand on the wrong side, *4 chain stitches, 1 double crochet between the strands on the front side*. Repeat from * to * for the entire row. The height of the roll is about 1 cm.

For the ties, make cords from thread in several folds. You can crochet a lace from air loops. Pull the lace through the holes - see photo. Tie knots at the ends of the cord.

On stocking needles, cast on 80 (90) 100 stitches and knit for the lapel 2 cm with an elastic band, 18 cm with a pattern with braids. Then turn the lapel over and knit 1 row, evenly decreasing 14 (18) 22 loops = 66 (72) 78 loops (15 (18) 21 loops on the 1st and 4th needles, 15 (18) 21 loops on the 2nd and 3rd needles knitting needles with 18 loops).
Purl 1 row, then purl on the stitches of the 1st and 4th needles, and use an Irish stitch on the stitches of the 2nd and 3rd needles.
After 5 cm from the lapel, decrease as follows: on both sides of the Irish pattern, every 2 cm, knit 2 loops together purl 11 (12) 13 times = 44 (48) 52 loops.
After 33 (36) 39 cm from the lapel, knit the heel.
To do this, set aside the middle 24 loops of the 2nd and 3rd needles, on the remaining 20 (24) 28 loops, knit for the heel wall with straight and reverse rows of 5 (5.5) 6 cm in stockinette stitch.

After this, on the middle 8 (10) 12 loops, knit the straight lower part of the heel along general rules knitting socks.
After this, on the side walls of the heel, cast on 11 (13) 15 loops on both sides and again knit on all loops in circular rows, while knitting the loops of the 1st and 4th knitting needles in stockinette stitch, 24 loops of the 2nd and 3rd knitting needles in Irish pattern.
To decrease the instep wedge, knit the last 2 stitches of the 1st knitting needle together in each 2nd row, and also knit the first 2 loops of the 4th knitting needle together with the knitting needle crossed until 42 (48) 54 loops remain.
After 19 (20.5) 22 cm from the middle of the heel for size 35/36, transfer the 1st loop of the 2nd needle to the 1st needle, as well as the last loop of the 3rd needle to the 4th needle, for size 42/ 42 transfer the last loop of the 1st knitting needle to the 2nd knitting needle, and also transfer the 1st loop of the 4th knitting needle to the 3rd knitting needle = 10 (12) each 14 loops on the 1st and 4th knitting needles, 11 each (12) 13 stitches on the 2nd and 3rd needles.
Then knit the toe in stockinette stitch according to the general rules for knitting socks.

    LACERY KOLFS

The pattern motif - herringbone - alternates with triple diamonds. The golf eraser consists of openwork diamonds and a triangular ornamental strip.

For knee socks you need 250 g of cotton stocking threads, 5 knitting needles No. 1 or No. 1.5.

Sample 5 cm - 16 loops. The largest volume of the leg (lower leg) is 35 cm.

In order to know exactly the number of loops, knit a sample and determine how many loops are in 5 cm, then the volume of the leg is multiplied by the number of loops in one cm.

    For example: (35X16): 5 = 112 loops.

You should also check whether the number of stitches you cast on is divisible by the width of the knee-high pattern. IN in this case 3 different patterns are assumed, so you should check whether the stitches of the patterns are divided by the number of stitches being cast on. For example, the initial motive is divided into 8 (Fig. 425, A), 112:8 = 14 motives; the second motive is divided into 16 (Fig. 425, B) 112:16 = 7 motives; the main motif is divided into 36 (Fig. 425, B), 112:36 = 3 motifs (4 extra), which means that these 4 loops in the purl strip should be reduced throughout the knitting (2 loops on each knitting needle), knitting them purl together.

Since the openwork pattern of the knee socks is very large, the figure shows only the construction of the lace; after each row shown, one knit row should be knitted with knit stitches.

Such a large pattern at the ankle is very difficult to reduce, so the golf is picked up and started to be knitted on knitting needles No. 1.5. On these knitting needles they knit an openwork eraser and once the entire large pattern (96 rows), then knit on thinner knitting needles (No. 1) and, approaching the rhombus, in the widest places they additionally knit 2 loops together with the front one on each side. Another 96 rows are knitted on thin knitting needles and once again in the widest place of the diamond, 2 loops are knitted together with the front one on each side, so reaching the heel, 12 loops are reduced (2 times, in each row there are 6 loops). There are 24 loops left on each needle.

When knitting the heel, you should position the large pattern so that it is in the middle in relation to the heel (the center, which is shown in the figure, is on the front part of the golf).

Just like in previous knee socks, the heel is knitted on 2 knitting needles, the heel decrease is made on the same knitting needles on which the heel was knitted, only in this case, at the beginning of the 4th knitting needle, the first 2 loops are knitted purl, and then 2 loops are knitted together with removal, at the end of the 1st knitting needle, the third and fourth penultimate loops are knitted together, the last 2 loops are knitted purl. The lower part of the foot is knitted in stockinette stitch, the upper part in accordance with the pattern.

On the toe, the loops are decreased in the same way as in the previous case, with the only difference being that this time between the decreases there are 2 purl loops, not knit stitches.
