The old mechanical sewing machine broke down, and I wanted to replace it with a new, electric one from China. And without knowing it, he took for review "the one from the Teleshop on the couch."
What came of it, read the review.

At first I wanted to take the most sophisticated one with 7 types of stitches, but the manager replied that it was not available and suggested the simplest one. Following the proverb “even a tuft of wool from a thin sheep” agreed.
I boasted to my brother about the upcoming acquisition, and here for the first time I heard about the advertisement of the typewriter from the Teleshop. It sounded pretty troubling to me.
Dispatched pretty quickly. After 20 days I received the parcel by the post of the Netherlands.
The box is quite normal. A little wrinkled along the way.
    Dimensions 23x21x13.5 cm.

The kit includes: a spare needle, a needle threader, two empty bobbins and two with threads - black and white.

Also included with the machine big instruction in English.

There is a possibility of control by means of a foot pedal.
The pedal itself is quite small, 88 mm long, 57 mm wide.
The cable length is 150 cm, the plug is very similar to an ordinary 3.5 mm minijack.

Powered by either four AA batteries or mains power.
    Power adapter with European plug.
    Cable length 110 cm.

    Claimed characteristics.

Both adapters are connected to the corresponding ports on the stern of the machine.

The photo above shows my first disappointment. We get the cars out of the box and it is immediately clear that it is cheap. Flimsy plastic. Gaps between parts, etc.
The length of the machine is approximately 19 cm, the height is also 19 cm. It weighs only 640 g without batteries.

    Width 97 mm.

At the bottom is a compartment for batteries.

Now let's get acquainted with the control of the machine.
    Power button.

To the left of it is the operation speed switch, Low-High, respectively.

At the top of the back is the flywheel.

In the middle of it is a peg for winding the thread on the bobbin.
The hairpin is put on the peg, and the coil on this retractable rod.

Then, throwing the thread over your finger or pencil, you need to start the machine idle and you can wind the thread.
There is a bobbin holder on the front.

From it, the thread goes to the upper thread tension regulator.

The presser foot lifter lever is located on the back of the machine. Made of plastic and quite thin, there are big doubts about its reliability.

On top of the front of the machine is a small light bulb.

And also a small blade for cutting the thread.

The hole in the needle plate is small, oval in shape.

The lower bobbin is hidden under the translucent cover.

It is held in the recess with a weak magnet.

I didn’t manage to disassemble the machine, since the screws are at the bottom of deep “wells” and I needed a long screwdriver.
After receiving and inspecting the machine, I decided to read the instructions, but I did not want to translate from English.
I started searching for information on the internet.
I did not find the instruction in Russian. But I found that this machine is sold under many different names - Tailor, Sinbo, Irit, Fanghua FHSM-203, etc. And almost all the feedback from users was negative.
Then, in search of instructions, I went to Youtube. The program “We destroy the sewing machine from the TV store - Advice from Everything will be kind - Issue 407” did not leave a stone unturned from hopes for high-quality sewing. And the last nail in the coffin is the ROSTOV. The Truth About Mini Sewing Machines by a Master Sewing Machine Repairer.
The information that everything inside is plastic and cannot be repaired frankly did not please.
But still, the opinion of strangers is one thing, and your own is another.
Let's check the machine in action.
I don’t see the point of inserting batteries inside, so I connected it to the network. Used to control the pedal. Quite normal, only it is small - I had to literally thumb press your feet.
The backlight is not very good.

Let's start with a simple thin fabric. I found an old cotton shirt sleeve.

Seems not bad. Only the seam pulls the fabric, it is necessary to adjust the thread tension.
    Front side.

    Reverse

    Stitched fine.

Tried to stitch the cuff. The machine stopped and the thread flew out of the needle.
Now a piece of knitted T-shirt. Look at the backlight at the same time.

On the front side, just a loose seam. Note that the fabric does not pull.

But on the other hand, a complete failure.

It is necessary to adjust the tension of the lower thread, but the device does not have such an opportunity. Missing.
And finally - the control shot. Two layers of heavy denim.

The front seam is small, looks good.

But on the reverse side, the thread is just straight, it cannot even be called a seam.

Thus, the machine can sew, but needs to be adjusted, but there is no such possibility. thin fabric pulls. When sewing on thick fabric, there are problems with the lower thread, and sometimes the machine just stops, cannot sew.
As they called it in the program - a machine for handkerchiefs.
It could be recommended for very undemanding users, if not for the price. For this money, the machine will not work either for handkerchiefs or for a child to be pampered.
Once again, the goods from the Teleshops have shown their unsuitability for use. Bypass them.
    That's all.
    Thank you for your attention.
update. It turned out that the upper hairpin with a thread was installed on the contrary.
Turned over, tried to adjust the thread tension. It only got worse. Now the thread flies out of the needle all the time. The machine does not sew.

The product was provided for writing a review by the store. The review is published in accordance with clause 18 of the Site Rules.

Sewing machines can seem intimidating to those who don't know how to use them. Be that as it may, do not let the fear of unknown operations and skills necessary to use sewing machine, stop you in creating textile wonders! Use this step by step instructions describing the installation mechanism and operation of the sewing machine so that you can start creating things with your own hands.

    Steps

    Sewing machine parts

Find the power button. It may sound silly, but locating the power button is the most important step! She may be in different places, depending on the model of your sewing machine, but most often you can find it on right side sewing machine.

Find a reel seat. This small plastic or metal stick that sticks out on top of the sewing machine is designed to hold the spool of thread.

Find the thread guide. The thread guide guides the thread from the spool attached to the top of the machine to the bobbin winder. This is the geometric metal section that sticks out on the top left side of the sewing machine.

Find a bobbin winder. To the right of the reel seat is another, even smaller, metal or plastic pin, next to which is a small horizontal wheel. This is a reel-winder and its limiter. They work together (together with the bobbin thread) and are designed to wind the thread onto the bobbin before sewing.

Look for buttons that allow you to adjust the stitches. They may be in different places depending on the model of your sewing machine, but they usually look like small picture buttons and are located on the front of the sewing machine. These buttons allow you to change the type of stitches you can use, the length of the stitches, as well as their direction (forward and backward). Check the instructions for your sewing machine model to find out the purpose of each button.

Determine the location of the thread take-up. When you are ready to thread the sewing machine, begin to draw the thread from the spool from above, through the thread guide, and then into the thread take-up. This is the lever (with two cut grooves) located on the front left side of the sewing machine. Usually next to it you can see printed numbers and arrows explaining how and in what order to thread the sewing machine.

Find the tensioner. The tension dial is a small dial with numbers next to the thread take-up. It controls the thread tension during sewing; if the tension is too high, the needle will bend to the right. If the tension is not sufficient, the thread will tangle on reverse side the fabric you are sewing.

Locate the needle holder screw. This is a metal tool that holds the needle while sewing. It is located under the sleeve of the sewing machine and is very similar in shape to big nail. It is attached to the right side of the needle.

Find a paw. This is the metal part under the needle holder that looks like tiny skis. When you lower the foot, it holds the fabric in place and guides it as you sew.

Locate the presser foot lever and practice lowering and raising the presser foot. It should be behind or to the right of the needle holder and needle. To test the lever, push it down and lift it up.

Find the needle plate. The needle plate is the silver plate directly below the needle. Very simple, right?

Find a transporter. The feed dog is a small metal guide that sits on the needle plate, under the presser foot, and guides the fabric as you sew. Pay attention to the two metal rows under the foot - this is the conveyor.

Locate the spool stop and spool release. The spool is the small spool of thread that sits at the bottom of the sewing machine and feeds the second thread to the needle, which is needed to create stitches from the inside. Under the metal plate is the coil stopper, and there you will also find the button or lever that releases it. You will need it to secure the spool before sewing.

      Setting up the sewing machine

      1. Place the sewing machine on a stable table workplace, desk or a special stand for the sewing machine in front of you. Sit in a chair that is the correct height for the table you are using. The sewing machine should stand in such a way that its needle is on the left, and the rest on the right, relative to you. You will have to check a few settings first and get to know the sewing machine a bit, so don't plug it in at this stage.

Insert the needle securely. The needle has a flat side, so it can only be inserted one way: the flat side must be facing backwards. On the other side, there is a groove at the bottom of the needle, usually located opposite the flat side of the needle. This groove always faces the direction of the thread (the thread passes through this groove as the needle is sewn up and down through the fabric). Insert the needle as described and tighten the screw holding it securely.

Install the coil. Sewing machines use two sources of thread - upper and lower threads. The bottom one is on the reel. To wind the thread on the spool, place the spool on the upper spool holder, which is for winding the thread. Follow the instructions and wind the thread from the thread spool through the thread take-up to the bobbin. Turn on the thread winder and wait until it stops by itself when the bobbin is fully wound.

        • When the bobbin is ready, place it in its intended place, under the needle, at the bottom of the sewing machine. Leave the end of the thread outside to insert it into the needle.
      2. Thread the sewing machine. The spool of thread on top of the sewing machine must be spun and attached to the needle. To achieve this, take the end of the thread and pull it through the thread take-up on top of the sewing machine, and then bring the thread down to the presser foot. The sewing machine should have small numbers and arrows to show you the order of the thread.

Take out both threads. Pass the scissors under the foot to release the ends of both threads. You should have two ends - one from the thread going through the needle and the other from the thread coming from the bottom spool.

Plug the sewing machine into an outlet and turn it on. Many sewing machines have built-in lighting, which will help you determine if it is working and if electricity is being supplied to it. The power button is often located on the right or back of the sewing machine, if there is one at all. Some models of sewing machines do not have such a button and turn on as soon as they are connected to the outlet.

        • Also connect the foot control to the sewing machine. Place the pedal in a comfortable position under your foot.

        Pattern constructor

Keep your sewing machine clean. Daniela Gutiérrez-Díaz, a professional pattern maker and fashion designer, advises: “From time to time, take your sewing machine to a specialized service center for such equipment, for it to be cleaned. It is advisable to do this regularly, especially if you use the sewing machine all the time».

        Sewing with a sewing machine

Choose a straight stitch, medium size. Check the instructions for how to do this on your sewing machine model. On this model, stitches are set by turning the lower knob on the right side of the machine until it clicks. Always set or change the stitch pattern with the needle up by removing the fabric as it can move the needle.

      • The straight stitch is the most popular stitch in sewing. The next most popular is the zigzag stitch, which is used to finish the edges of the fabric and counteract the fraying and fraying.

Practice on bad material. Select plain fabric, not knitwear, for my first experience in sewing. Do not use too thick fabric for the first attempts at sewing machine. Denim or flannel is very hard to work with because of their density.

Place the fabric under the needle. Sew, placing the sewn material to the left of the machine. If you lay the fabric on the right side, it may cause uneven stitches.

Lower your paw. Locate the lever, behind or to the side of the needle, that allows you to lower and raise the presser foot.

      • If you lightly pull on the fabric that is pressed down with the presser foot, you will find that it is being held quite tightly. When you sew, the sewing machine uses a protractor to move the fabric at the correct speed. Therefore, there is no need to pull the fabric through the sewing machine device manually; in fact, pulling on the fabric can cause the needle to bend or ruin your project. You can adjust the stitch speed and size using the buttons on the machine.
    1. Hold the free ends of both threads. For the first few stitches, you will need to hold the ends of both threads so that they do not get tangled in the fabric. After you have sewn a little, you can let go of the ends of the threads and use both hands to control the fabric and the sewing machine.

Press your foot on the pedal. The pedal is responsible for controlling the sewing speed. It's like the gas pedal in a car - the harder you push, the faster the sewing machine will go. At first, depress the pedal very slowly and just enough to start the sewing machine.

      • Your sewing machine may have a knee button instead of a pedal. In this case, use your knee to press it.
      • You can use the top wheel on the right side of the sewing machine to make it sew or move the needle manually.
      • The sewing machine will automatically guide the fabric away from you. You can guide the fabric under the needle in a straight line or at different angles. Practice writing straight and wavy. The only difference is how you bring the fabric to the needle.
      • Do not poke or pull on fabric that is under the needle. Doing so may cause the fabric to stretch or break the needle, or the seam may become tangled in the bobbin. If you feel that the sewing machine is not running fast enough, then press the pedal harder, adjust the length of the stitches, or (if necessary) buy a faster sewing machine.
    2. Find a reverse button or lever and try it out. It allows you to change the direction in which the sewing is going, so the fabric will go towards you, not away from you. Usually this button or lever is held on by a spring, so you will have to hold it down to keep sewing in reverse.

Use the hand wheel to raise the needle to its extreme point. Then raise your foot. The fabric should now be easy to remove. If the thread pulls back when you try to remove the fabric, check the needle position.

Cut the thread. On many sewing machines there is a notch located on the pin holding the foot. You can cut the threads by holding them with both hands and running them over the notch. If there is no notch or you want to cut the threads more carefully, then use scissors. Leave the ends of the threads in order to continue sewing the next seam.

    3. Practice stitching the seams. Pinch off two pieces of fabric with pins, right side together, right at the edge. The seam will be at a distance of 1.3 cm to 1.5 cm from the edge. You can sew the fabric in one layer (and you might want to do this to reinforce the edge), but since the purpose of most work on the sewing machine is to join two pieces of fabric, you need to get used to sewing several layers of fabric and using pins .

      • The fabric is fastened with the right side to each other so that the seam remains on the wrong side. The front side is the side that will be the outside after sewing is completed. On dyed fabric, the front side is usually the brighter side. Some fabrics may not have a right side.
      • Attach pins perpendicular to the line where the seam will run. You can sew directly onto the pins and then easily remove them from the fabric, but doing so can damage the sewing machine, fabric, or pins. It is safest to pull out the pins as soon as the needle approaches them, because if the needle accidentally hits the pin, it will break and the needle will bend. Be that as it may, prevent the needle from getting into the heads of the pins.
      • As you follow the fabric, pay attention to where the material is moving. The seams can run in different directions, but most sewing projects are trimmed afterwards so that the seams run parallel to the edge. Also, pay attention to the direction of the pattern, if your fabric has one, and lay the fabric so that the pattern runs from top to bottom on the right side. For example, floral or animal prints, or stripes or other designs should go in the right direction.

Each sewing machine has its own instructions different from other brands of machines, but most economy class machines with a swinging shuttle (like the Seagull sewing machine): Brother, Jaguar, Singer, Veritas, Janome, Husqvarna and other brands have almost the same device.
Instructions for use, threading, switching operations, installing the bobbin case, lubrication and maintenance, etc. in the instructions for such sewing machines are almost the same.

The main parts of the sewing machine:
    1. Knob for selecting the type of stitch. With this knob, you set the type of stitch you want: straight, darning, zigzag or offset needle for sewing on a zipper, sewing a buttonhole, etc.
    2. Buttonhole fine adjustment screw. Not every machine has such an adjustment. It is designed to equalize the frequency (density) of the zigzag stitch when sewing a buttonhole. That is, in one of the directions the zigzag will be less frequent, so before making a loop, check it on a trim of the same fabric. And make adjustments if necessary.
    3. Thread take-up lever.
    4. Removable table with storage compartment for accessories.
    5. Upper thread tension dial.

    6. Button for moving the fabric in the opposite direction.
    7. Thread trimmer. A very convenient device, but requires a certain habit. Usually they are rarely used, just forgetting about it, cutting the thread with scissors.
    8. Presser foot adapter assembly.
    9. Presser foot holder screw.
    10. Presser foot.
    11. Needle plate.
    12. Shuttle knot.
    13. Bobbin case.
    14. Combs (rake) of the fabric conveyor.
    15. Sewing needle.
    16. Needle clamp screw.

    17. Shuttle cover.
    18. Rod for installing the coil.
    19. Bobbin winder.
    20. Flywheel.
    21. Pedal socket.
    22. Presser foot lever.
    23. Power switch and backlight bulbs.
    24. Built-in carrying handle.
    25. Thread guide, thread tension regulator when winding on the bobbin.

    Sewing machine accessories and accessories

    1. Buttonhole foot. A special foot with which it is convenient to make buttonholes. The size of the buttonhole depends on the size of the button inserted into it. In inexpensive models of sewing machines, the buttonhole is sewn in 4 steps.
    2. Zipper foot.
    3. Foot for sewing on buttons.
    4. A set of needles.
    5. Double needle.
    6. Bobbins.
    7. Darning plate. This plate replaces the lever that lowers the toast. The plate is simply put on over the rail, hiding the teeth so that the fabric does not advance when the machine is running.
    8. Screwdriver
    9. Additional core for the coil. This rod is required when used double needle, its purpose is to install a second spool of thread.
The accessories listed above are stored in a specially designed case inside the side table. These accessories are designed to make most sewing tasks easier.

    Needle Installation Instructions

Before installing the needle, be sure to turn off the sewing machine from the mains. This must be done especially for inexperienced, just beginning seamstresses.
    1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
    2. Raise the needle bar to its highest position.
    3. Lower the presser foot.
    4. If the needle is already installed, remove the needle o by loosening the needle clamp screw with your hand or a screwdriver and pulling the needle down.
    5. Insert a new needle with the flat side facing the rear of the machine, sliding it as high as possible until it stops.
    6. Tighten the needle clamp screw.

    1. For quality sewing sewing needle must be straight and sharp.
    2. To check the straightness of the needle, place it flat side down on a flat surface as shown.
    3. If the needle is bent or dull, replace it. Never try to straighten or sharpen it. The metal from which the needle is made is not intended for this.
    See Do-it-yourself sewing machine repair.

Depending on your work, you may need to replace the presser foot. Turn the power switch to the "O" position.

    2. Release the presser foot by lifting the lever on the back of the presser foot holder assembly.
    3. Place the presser foot on the needle plate with the cross bar of the presser foot under the groove at the bottom of the presser foot holder.
    4. Lower the presser foot lever, and attach the presser foot to the adapter. When the presser foot is in the correct position, the pin will snap into place in the adapter.

    Reverse sewing machine. bartack

To sew in reverse, press the reverse sewing key all the way down and hold it in this position while lightly depressing the foot controller. Release the key to sew in the forward direction. Reverse sewing is used to secure and reinforce seams. You can use reverse feed for decorative stitching and darning of garments.

    1. Place the spool of thread on the spool pin and pass the thread around the thread tension knob when winding the bobbin.
    2. Pass the end of the thread through the hole in the bobbin from the inside of the bobbin.
    3. Place the bobbin on the winder shaft and slide the shaft to the right. Turn the bobbin clockwise by hand until the spring on the shaft fits into its groove on the bobbin.
    4. While holding the end of the thread, gently depress the foot controller to wind the thread around the bobbin a few turns. Then stop the car.
    5. Trim the excess thread above the bobbin, and while depressing the foot controller, continue winding the thread onto the bobbin. Note: When the bobbin is filled with thread, the machine stops automatically.
    6. After the machine stops, cut the thread between the bobbin and the spool, slide the shaft to the left, and remove the wound bobbin from the shaft. Note: When the bobbin winder shaft is shifted towards the pressure roller, the needle bar is stationary, but the handwheel continues to rotate. Therefore, do not touch the handwheel while winding the bobbin.

In this video you will see how to wind a thread on a bobbin using a winder.

Threading the lower thread into the bobbin case

Turn the power switch to the "O" position.
    1. Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the handwheel toward you (counterclockwise), then raise the presser foot lever.
    2. Open the bobbin cover behind the attachment table at the front of the machine, remove the bobbin case by pulling its latch towards you and removing it from the bobbin.
    3. Unwind approximately 10 cm of thread from a fully wound bobbin, and insert the bobbin into the bobbin case. Pass the unwound end of the thread through the slot, then down and to the left until the thread enters the hole under the tension spring.
    4. Holding the bobbin case by the latch, insert it into the hook as far as it will go, then release the latch. Make sure that the bobbin case pin fits into the groove on the top of the hook. Note: If the bobbin case is incorrectly inserted into the machine, it will fall out of the hook immediately after sewing starts.

    1. Raise the presser foot lever using the appropriate lever, and turn the handwheel toward you (counterclockwise) to raise the thread take-up lever to its highest position.
    2. Pull up the spool pin and put the spool of thread on it.
    3. Pass the thread through both thread guides, first through the back thread guide and then through the front thread guide.
    4. Draw the thread down and around the upper thread tension knob from right to left until the thread catches the thread stop spring. Hold the thread and pull it between the tension discs.
    5. Guide the thread to the back of the thread take-up lever and around it from right to left. Pass the thread through the slit, pulling it towards you until it enters the thread take-up eye.
    6. Pull the thread down and pass it behind the thread guide.
    7. Thread the eye of the needle from front to back and pull out about 5 cm of thread. Note: If the thread is not threaded correctly, it may break, skip stitches, or wrinkle the fabric.

If your sewing machine does not have an instruction manual and you do not know how to use it, then you can use this simplified and universal manual. This instruction fit for any economy class sewing machine with an oscillating hook that performs a minimum set of operations.

Before starting work on the sewing machine, you need to carefully inspect and check the serviceability of its parts. Wherein Special attention should be referred to
    1) serviceability of the needle and coil;
    2) the quality of the threads, the correctness of their dressing and the uniformity of tension;
    3) the condition of the bobbin and the winding of threads on it;
    4) installation of the hook and bobbin case (check if there is excessive swing);
    5) installation and fastening of the needle and foot;
    6) installation of the stitch controller;
    7) machine lubrication.
When sewing on the machine, do not pull the fabric with your hands or push it under the presser foot.
Seams and thickened places need to be stitched more carefully so as not to break the needles.
At the end of the work, the machine must not be left with the presser foot raised. Under the foot you need to put a piece of fabric and secure it with a lowered needle.
The machine must not be turned with the presser foot down when the threads are threaded and the fabric is not underlay.
Insert the bobbin case correctly and carefully check its installation. If the machine starts to knock, it must be thoroughly cleaned and lubricated.
At the end of the work, the machine must be wiped with a cloth and closed with a cover or cap.

    Mini sewing machine.
    4 bobbins with thread.
    2 spare needles.
    Bobbin winder.

Opening the box, we see that the machine is packed neatly, the plastic packaging protects from moisture, which means the machine will not rust, the instruction is in Russian, the text is well-translated, the text is understandable, there are explanatory drawings, which means it will not be difficult to figure out how to thread the thread.
    Length about 25cm.
    Height is about 7cm.
    Width about 4cm.

This machine is ideal on a long journey, in the country or in the household, it is so simple and not whimsical. With it, you can hem trousers, sew on a patch, shorten curtains, sew a bedspread, make an embroidery pattern on fabric, and much more.
Minimum dimensions - maximum results! Mini stitcher works both from batteries and from the mains.

The machine willingly stitched fabrics, among the main advantages I would like to note a very small lower part of the machine, thanks to which it is possible to sew those things that cannot be sewn on a conventional sewing machine, cuffs, thin sleeves, etc.
The mini stitcher will become a great helper at home and in the country, you can easily take it with you by putting it in a women's handbag.
The mini sewing machine is perfect for mending clothes of all levels of difficulty without leaving your home! Completeness: sewing machine, adapter, foot pedal, four bobbins, needle, needle threader, instructions for use.

On top of the body of the mini stitcher is a power or sewing button. The button does not have a fixation, which is generally convenient, since you will not have to sew too long lines on such a sewing machine, for this better fit other machine models. The button can be blocked from accidental pressing, which prevents accidental pressing of the button during transportation, which means that the batteries will not accidentally run out.
On the left is the scroll wheel of the sewing machine, it can raise the needle for threading or fabric, as well as a connector for connecting an external power supply, I remind you that there is no power supply included.

Operating instructions for mini sewing machine FHSM-203 (pdf, 3.7 Mb) The mini sewing machine has two speed modes, the ability to choose the control method: manual or with a foot pedal. A manual sewing machine will replace your thread with a needle when there is a need for decorative trim chain stitch. Portable manual typewriter does not require qualifications and special skills, just read the instructions carefully.

I didn’t have to thread the thread, as the factory took care of it, as well as a small test piece of fabric on which I found about 1 cm of stitching, which was made at the factory for testing.
I insert 4 AA 1.5 V batteries (standard finger-type, the most common). The first preparations are made, now let's talk a little about the main controls.

The characteristics of the power supply are indicated on the connector: 6v and 800 MA - this means that almost any universal power supply will fit, for the test I used the Robiton 1.5 - 12V universal power supply, practice has shown that universal power supplies from 300 up to 1000 MA - 6 V, that is, almost all universal power supplies.
The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the ministitcher, there are polarity indicators, and the last thing is that the needles used are standard and even if all 3 needles that come with the mini sewing machine you use, then you should not have problems with buying new ones.
The mini stitcher fits easily in the palm of your hand and, despite its small size, fits perfectly in your hand, the controls of the machine are in the right places and do not cause inconvenience.
Now let's go directly to using the sewing machine - I press the start button and the machine willingly sews a test piece of fabric, from below, under the foot, there are teeth feeding the fabric that move the fabric forward, but when sewing, it is advisable to set the direction of the stitch yourself, the engine power is easily enough to sew duvet covers and pillowcases , trousers and cuffs.
