Working together with children on origami helps not only develop their pens and memory, but also usefully spend time and create new toy to the next tale of dragons.

To create such a dragon, you will need a double-sided square sheet of colored paper and a little time!

Assembling a simple crane. Fold the sheet diagonally, vertically and horizontally. Fold along the marked folds into a double square.

The next step is to fold the side edges of the square towards the center. We do this twice on both sides of the square, we get a rhombus. Next, we bend the ribs back. Along the marked folds, carefully lift up the lower part of the diamond. We do this on the other side as well. We get a thin, sharp rhombus, the top of which we lower down.

Following the step-by-step photographs, we make a square at the top of the rhombus and bend it inward. To get a flat cut at the top, you need to slightly bend and lift up the sharp edges of the diamond. And fold it in half inward.

We create a blank for the wings by folding the points of the rhombus into different sides and folded in the center, as in the photo. This must be done on both sides.

Now let's create the basis for the tail and head of the future origami dragon. We fold the remaining two sharp corners slightly inward so that they become parallel to the wings.

Let's add realism to the dragon and make his hind legs, following the photographs.

Let's finish forming the tail. First, let's make it flatter, outline the folds and manually add volume and shape, bending it slightly upward.

By analogy with the hind legs, we will do the front ones.

And, of course, the head! The penultimate stage of assembling the dragon according to the diagram will be two folds up and back down. This way we will get the head.

Add volume to the wings (by simply straightening them with your fingers and slightly bending the tips), at this point everything depends only on your imagination.

    Our dragon is ready.

Now children and even adults can easily play with it.

    A ready-made origami dragon for everyone's joy!

Thus, you have in your hands the finished result of your time spent. But the result is more than worthy. Such dragons can decorate your holiday or theme party V oriental style. Dragon- is a character in various fairy tales and myths. Our little dragon is made by technology modular origami using . Fictional fiery red dragon, consists of paper, which means it is afraid not only of water, but also of fire.

Modular Orgami: "Dragon" consists of 767 triangular modules: 99 yellow, 421 red, 48 green, 104 orange, 95 black. In the photo below you see general scheme dragon assemblies. The dragon's tail consists of 88 triangular modules, each link in the body also includes 88 modules, the body of the dragon will require 528 parts, the head contains 119 modules, and one of the four legs will require 8 parts.

For example, let’s take this ornament for making a fiery red dragon shown in the colored diagram. You can use your imagination and come up with your own ornament..

Modular orgami: "Dragon" - assembly sequence:

    Tail

Assembly dragon Let's start with the tail. Let's take 4 modules and assemble them as in the next photo (1st row - 1 module, 2nd row - 2 modules, 3rd row - one module).

The assembled 15 rows are shown in the photo below. Starting from the 7th row, bend all red modules that have a free corner to the side.

Let's finish assembling the dragon's tail 28 nearby. From row 23 the number of modules will alternate. There will be 6 modules in each even row, and 5 modules in each odd row.

    Let's start assembling the body:
A separate link is assembled into the dragon's body (16 rows). Do not forget to bend the free corners of the outer modules to the side. It is required to collect 6 such links. The dragon's body will form rows from 29 to 124.

    Head.

Let's start assembling the head without the mustache. Modules in rows: row 125 (first in the head) – 5 modules, add one module to each next row until the number of modules in the row (131 row) reaches 11 modules. From the 132nd row, the number of modules decreases by 1 per row. Therefore, in row 141 (the last one in the head) there will be 1 module.

Let's add a mustache on the dragon's head. In rows 136, 137, 138 and 141 we will add modulo and bend the free corner. Add mustaches on both sides of the head.

Let's collect the dragon's paws. The photo shows paws with 6 claws (possibly 4 or 5), assembled from 8 modules. Collect 4 of these paws.

Let's combine all the details of the dragon into one whole: tail, body and head.

Put the finished paws aside for now and let’s start giving the dragon its shape. Let's bend the neck like the letter "S". The rotation of the modules is done evenly along the length of the neck. Pressing the dragon model near the tail, bend the workpiece into its final shape.

Collect dragon made from origami modules, and you will understand that this hobby is available to every adult and child. Crafts from paper triangles They always turn out unique and beautiful.

The presented dragon is going in an accessible way in one evening if you prepare the modules in advance. How to make them. In total you will need a little more than two hundred parts. You can make your own changes to the model and add something new if you really want.

Even a child can handle this craft school age. By the way, this good way instill useful hobby, instead of constantly sitting in front of a computer monitor or tablet.

Assembling a dragon from modules using origami technique

Start with preparation necessary materials. You will need:

    • 10 purple parts;
    • 9 black triangles;
    • about 200 pieces red;
    • glue.

For modules, I take leaves measuring 4x6 cm. Your size may be different. For a dragon, a flat and thick option is suitable. The first one differs little from the second one. One of the inner sides is incomplete.

Be sure to use glue in this model, otherwise the dragon will fall apart before the assembly is completed.

    Torso

Start with the torso paper dragon. Once you've completed the biggest detail, you'll know what to do next.

Take one red module and connect it to the other two by inserting long ends in pockets. Next, put on 3 triangles, then 4 pieces.

From the 5th row, alternate 5 and 4 modules until the 23rd row. In rows with five parts, leave the extreme ends of the modules free, and where there are four triangles, tuck them completely into the pockets.

24th row: 3 red mods. 25th: 2 mod. Then put one on and two more on its long ends. The dragon's body is ready.

    Paws

Make two front and two hind legs from the red parts. The claws are black at the ends.

The forelimbs consist of 10 triangles inserted into each other. Place two black ones on the last red module. Collect two identical paws. The rear ones consist of 7 red modules each. There are also black claws at the ends. The assembly method is similar to the front ones.

Now you will need glue. Glue the limbs on the side of the body. I couldn't figure out how to insert them, so they are glued on the outside. Perhaps you will find another way. Share it in the comments.

    Dragon head

While the paws are drying, proceed to the head and neck. The first row consists of 2 modules, the second of 3. Repeat 2 and 3 again. Then alternate 1 and 2 until 21 rows.

At the free ends of the modules of the fourth row, make horns by putting 4 red triangles and 1 purple triangle on both sides. Form a curve in the neck and attach the head to the body by inserting the center ends of the modules into the pockets of the first row of the body.

    Tail

For the tail, thread 12 red triangles into each other. Then put 2 more in the pockets of the last module and finish with one.

The tip consists of 5 purple parts and 1 black. It is assembled as a continuation of the tail: 3, 2 and 1 module.

Attach the finished tail to the back of the body by inserting the pockets of the first triangle into the two central ends.

The dragon made from modules using the origami technique is almost ready. All that remains is to add the top prickly growths. Take three purple triangles and glue them to the back in a random location.

The craft is ready! The dragon looks a little scary and majestic. As you have seen, there is nothing complicated in making it.

I wish everything works out for you! If you liked it, do it. The manufacturing method is similar.
