The length of the doll is 33 cm. The proportions of the doll are as follows:

Sequence of work

Step one.

Let's make the head. From a piece of padding polyester we form a ball with a diameter of 7 cm.

We sew it with thread and a needle on the back of the head so that the ball holds its shape.

Step two. Neck.

From a piece of foam rubber, roll up a neck with a diameter of 2 cm and sew it with thread. Sew to the head.

Step three. Torso.

Take a piece of padding polyester measuring 15 cm in height and at least 20 cm in width. Sew it along the height with white threads. Next, we tightly fill the inside of the body with padding polyester. Now we need to attach the head and neck to the body. We tighten the edge of the body with a needle and thread around the neck. When you do this part of the work, visually check how the doll’s body looks; if you are not satisfied with something, then immediately try to correct it. Maybe hem something, tighten it up so that everything is even.

Step four.

Place the tights with the toe on your head. The stocking should fit snugly to the uniform. If the fit is not tight, then we sew it up along the back side with brown threads, pulling the stocking tighter. The seam will be made over the edge. Keep the stitches short and neat.

Measure the stocking according to the length of the torso and future legs. Cut off the excess.

Cut the stocking lengthwise to the body into two equal parts.

Step five.

We draw the face of the doll. It’s more convenient as long as the other parts don’t get in the way.

First, use a pencil to mark the position of the eyes. Very important! The eyes are located above the middle of the face. The distance between the eyes is equal to the length of the eye. My doll's eyes are located at a distance of 4.5 cm from the lower edge of the face and the eye size is 1.5 cm. The opening width of the eye is 7 mm. Eyebrows 1 cm above the eyes.

We denote the tip of the nose with a short line. Mouth. The corners of the mouth are up so that the doll smiles a little. Don't make your mouth long. The corners of the mouth are located at the level of the inner corners of the eyes.

The way you draw the doll’s face will determine its corresponding expression. Make her kind and beautiful!

Now take the corrector and carefully paint over the inside of the eye with white. Let's wait until it dries and draw the pupil with a blue felt-tip pen. Outline the entire eye with black and draw eyelashes. Place a black dot in the center of the eye. Very carefully add a sparkle to the eyes with the corrector. Draw short eyebrows. We round the lower part of the nose with a short stroke of brown. We outline the lips with brown and then tint them with red. We apply makeup on the cheeks. You can use a red pencil or whatever pink cosmetics you have.

We do the same with the corners of the mouth. I go around the nose with a button, using very small stitches, slightly pulling it up! Do not overdo it!!!

Done with the face!

Step six.

Making hair. Yarn Brown I distribute it into strands. Strand length as desired. I made the longest ones at 24 cm. Then you can cut it! We gradually sew the strands onto a strip of fabric with a backstitch to the needle.

We try it on, if the head is completely covered, then we sew the strip to the head in the middle along the same seam. To keep the hair on the sides, you need to sew around the circumference a couple of times, reaching eye level. Then we sew the second layer of strands on top. See how you do here. I did a lot, but I like it that way. After sewing the hair, we make a haircut.

We shorten it and make bangs. Imagine that you took your daughter to the hairdresser, and you do fashionable haircut!!

Step seven. We sew the legs. We roll the padding polyester with a roller and sew it along the back side with white threads. Here you need to shape the foot. We add padding polyester by sticking out the toe. We sew with a needle, making the desired configuration of the leg. The legs are divided into two equal parts at the knee. We tighten the padding polyester at the knee so that the leg looks like two sausages tied together.

We attach the finished legs to the body and sew them tightly. We dress it in nylon and sew it up on the outside with small stitches along the inside of the leg. At the toe we tighten the excess and cut it off.

Step eight. We sew hands. The principle of formation is the same.

Tightenings on the elbows and palms. We prepare nylon according to the thickness of the arms and length. We sew it on the wrong side with brown thread, following the configuration of the hand. Turn it right side out and insert the handle inside. The seam should be on the elbow side, at the back.

Sew to the body. Here I sew with a thick thread so that the needle (large!) goes from one side to the other and back as well. It turns out to be a double mount, making it possible to move the handles.

We stitch the fingers on the palms. We make tightening on the elbows and hands.

That's it, the doll is ready!

Step nine. We sew clothes. We take measurements from the doll. Dress with a seam waist. Flashlight sleeve. Dress sizes:

• flap for skirt = 12*34
• for the top of the dress = 9*19
• for sleeve = 6*12

We cut out the skirts and collect the top with a thread, align it, pulling it up along the width of the blouse. Hem the bottom of the skirt. We sew on the lace at our discretion.

I'm cutting a blouse. Cut the shoulder line obliquely. Cut out the neck. Sleeve openings: 4 cm = armhole depth and width 3 cm.

We sew a blouse with a skirt at the waist. At the back there will be a seam in the middle of the back. We sew this seam from the bottom of the skirt and leave 5-6 cm unstitched to the top, since there is a slit for fastening and freely putting on the dress.

We sew the sleeve, bend the bottom of the sleeve (5 mm) and sew it to the armhole. Align the bottom point of the sleeve at the side seam. Carefully sew the needle back with small stitches.

We process the neck with a narrow strip of fabric or braid.

The dress is ready! We dress the doll.

Step ten. We crochet shoes from iris. Shaped like footprints. We decorate the top of the shoes with a flower.

Moreover, if your hair is bristling, grab it with braid around the circumference of your head and flowers from the braid. To make a flower, we gather the braid along the edge onto a needle and tighten it.

The narrow lower side is not sewn up; stuffing is done through it. The edge of the sleeve is folded inward and the palm is glued to it. The suit is made from scraps. The main part of the costume is the skirt. Cut out a circle with a hole in the center and gather the edges of the hole with a thread. On the front side of the skirt, the head and handles are glued, which can be frameless or on a wire frame.

The back of the head is made of padding polyester and trimmed with a circle of knitwear so as to give the head anatomical correct form. At the moment of stitching the face and back of the head, the head is connected to the finished body.

The seam is hidden under the wig and disguised by the hairstyle. It is important to maintain the proportions of the body and head. If you are making a child toy, then the ratio of head size to body size should be from 1:3 (proportions of a baby) to 1:6 (proportions of a six-year-old child). For an adult, this ratio will be 1:8.
