    1. We cut out paired parts for the two halves of the bag:

    According to the template A - 2 pcs., B - 2 pcs., C - 2 pcs., D - 4 pcs.

Seam allowances are not added. But if you make allowances, keep in mind
that the bag will be slightly bigger size. Handle length - detail D -
cut as you wish: for example, 23 ... cm, if you wear in
hands, and 33 ... cm, if you want to hang on your shoulder (before cutting, try on
the desired length of the handles).

    2. We first sew parts A and B.

We smooth or smooth the allowances (it depends on the thickness of the selected
tissues). Then we sew part C and part D. Iron the seams. So
Thus, we get two patchwork halves of the bag in the mirror
    display.

    3. We put each half of the bag on
strengthening material (I have a dense non-adhesive padding polyester) and, as
stencil, cut out along the contours, leaving small margins. If
the surface of the material is adhesive, iron-glue it to the patchwork
    inside out.

If the material is not adhesive, sweep, chip or spray
special adhesive spray. Decorative stitching along the contours of the seams
between the details or we quilt a patchwork surface - this is
decorate and seal the details of the bag.

    4. Now we cut off the excess padding polyester and
cut out the lining to the contours of the resulting patchwork parts. Can it
cut about 1 cm less (excluding handles). But I do
like this: I cut out the same size with the patchwork part, and then, when
I grind the halves of the lining, then I increase the seam allowances to a little
more than 1 cm and, if the fabric is loose, I don’t cut off the excess - it’s more reliable.

At this stage of assembling the bag, you can sew on pockets, if this is provided for in your model.

    5. On the patchwork and lining parts, we outline tucks. Let's build them up.

    6. Fold the parts of the bag facing each other, cut off and sew together only along the lower arc of the bag.

At the same time, we lay the tucks so that there is no double thickening: on
one half of the bag, for example, to the right, on the other - to the left.

    7. We sew tucks on the halves of the lining.

We fold them facing each other and grind together only along
bottom arc. We straighten the tucks in the same way, but at the same time between
darts along the lower cut leave an unsewn part for eversion.
Let me remind you that if we cut the lining the same size as
patchwork part, now we leave about two times on the allowances
more than on the patchwork details of the bag.

    8. We put the lining inside the bag, combining their front sides inside.

We join together all the details of the upper part of the bag and sew everything that remains unconnected: “neck”, “shoulders”, handles.

On the allowances of the handles, you can cut off the thickening of the synthetic winterizer if it is too
you tight. You can also cut off the corners from the allowances. Do not forget
cut allowances on curved sections before eversion.
Turn the entire bag inside out through the hole at the bottom of the lining. We iron.
Lay the hole allowances on top of each other and sew with a blind seam.

    9. Now we manually connect the halves of the handles and then on the typewriter we sew the upper part of the bag, the handles.

This will give shape and strengthen the connection of the handles. And, of course, decorate your new patchwork helper!

    10. In conclusion, you can sew a loop
with a button as a fastener, and come up with other additional
    decorative highlights.

I added wo-woo flowers and self-adhesive pale green
rhinestones. The model of this bag is not only convenient, but also truly versatile.
for all styles! Whatever combination of fabrics you choose - the result
will be harmonious. And from simple cheerful cotton fabrics, and in
refined Victorian style, and in strict black and white / black and red,
and from silk-satin with braid and embroidery, and from the remnants of denim ... Model
will change beyond recognition, but always retain grace and
    style match.

I think you will like this tutorial, and it turned out to be easy to sew.
You can somehow decorate them, it would be just as interesting
sew such handbags-boxes from felt or leather, for example.

    1. fabric for both sides of the bag and lining fabric (so that the box itself is stable and retains volume);

    2. lightning;

    3. threads;

    4. scissors;

    5. Well, and a sewing machine, respectively.

Under the cut, the technology itself, I hope everything will be clear to everyone. By the way, for the holidays you can make yourself such a gift. Clickable.

    1) We select the fabric
cut off the flaps of a rectangular shape (approximately the size of a simple
notebooks). We collect two halves of the future handbag from three layers (you can
of the two, if the fabric itself is dense).

    2) By long side sew 2-3 mm from the edge
each half. We bend these stitched edges by about 5 mm and
    we attach the lightning itself.

    3) Turn inside out, fasten, sew a few mm.

    4) Now we sew along the short side, cut off the excess lightning.

Well, that's all, turn it inside out ... you can even fold the sewing tools

If you decide to make the bag lined, which is even better, then you need to sew the lining in the same way as the body. Turn the lining inside out, put it on the main part, connect the top seam, leaving a small area open. Turn the bag inside out through it, tuck the lining inside, manually sew the incision and sew on the handles.

    Bags for every day

Sewing an everyday handbag from fabric is quite simple, but from leather or leatherette, as well as other dense materials, it is more difficult, since a special machine is required.

A casual bag is different in that it always has more pockets - both outside and inside. It is usually made of durable materials; more decorations and accessories are used for its decor.

Therefore, before sewing a bag, it is necessary to draw a sketch, build a pattern, outline on the pattern where pockets, jewelry, accessories will be sewn, and take all this into account in further work.

The technology of sewing a casual bag, especially if it is supplemented by all of the above, can be quite complicated, therefore it deserves a separate article or even a master class. We offer you options on how to sew a bag for every day as easily and quickly as possible: a bag

Different bags are needed, different bags are important. It is with this phrase that you can continue the theme of bags on our website, because girls try to carefully select this accessory for each of their images.

The over-the-shoulder model firmly occupies a leading position in the ranking of the most comfortable bags.

How to sew a shoulder bag and what pattern? This is what our article will be about.

    Pattern

Baggage with a shoulder strap may have different shape: square, semicircle, rectangle. The following patterns will allow craftswomen to sew a model, taking into account their desires and preferences for the color of fabric, leather and other details.

You can choose the most diverse material for sewing bags: natural and artificial leather, jeans, velveteen, tarpaulin.

Long strap clutches look great in satin and velvet.

    Model #1

    Model #2

Luggage with one-piece handles. This pattern will come out good Beach bag. A big advantage when creating a model will be the absence of a separate tailoring of handles. One-piece handles are sewn simultaneously with the main details.

    Model No. 3

According to the scheme, you can sew a saddle bag made of leather or leatherette. The style attracts attention with its folding part, to which you can attach a magnetic fastener.

    Model No. 4

A cute clutch will allow you to keep all the necessary little things at hand if the girls have planned a walk in the park or a meeting with friends. The chain strap will make it stylish and spectacular.

    Model No. 5

The photo shows three styles of the product at once. Each pattern has its own advantages.

    1. The shape of a banana resembles sports bag suitable for sports.
    2. The pouch on the lace-strap consists of several wedges and a long shoulder strap. You can sew such a pouch with or without a lining. In the first case, it is worth choosing dense fabrics that will keep the shape of the luggage well. For a lined bag, any lightweight materials will do.
    3. The third option resembles a saddle bag. Its shape allows you to choose any finish: appliqué, patch, embroidery and other decor.

    How to make a strap?

The strap allows you to carry hand luggage on your shoulder. Everyone has long been accustomed to the fact that the length of the strap should be adjustable. So let's get down to business.

    Required:

    1. Belt material.
    2. Carbine.
    3. Interlining or felt (if the belt is made of leather).

The sewing steps are as follows:

    • Cut the strap to the desired length and width. The size of the width is taken arbitrary, but in the finished form the strap must match the width of the buckle. Take double the width of the belt when cutting. The buckle will allow you to adjust the length of the belt.

    • The length of the strap is taken taking into account the adjustment in the finished product.
    • Cut the interlining with a length equal to the length of the belt and a width reduced by 0.5 mm. This will make the shoulder strap smooth and beautiful when sewing.
    • Insert the interlining inside the belt, fold the belt and lay the machine line.
    • Now you need to insert the buckle into the belt for adjustment.

On the video you can see how to insert such accessories correctly.

    • The carabiner will allow you to unfasten the belt. If the luggage is made of fabric, the carabiner must be slipped through the ends of the belt and sewn on. Rings or small loops must first be inserted in the bag, for which the carabiner will cling.
    • On a leather belt, a carabiner should be fixed with a holniten. Insert the carabiner into the leather strap blank on one side.
    • Bend the edge, punch a hole under the holniten and insert the part. Holniten can be inserted by itself using a machine tool or a hammer. The bag repair shop will definitely help solve this problem.
    • The second edge of the belt is processed by analogy with the first.

A master class on making one of the models is in the next video.

How to sew a cross-body: master class

Cross-body has long been used by girls in Everyday life. The sequence of all sewing operations on how to create a cross-body made of fabric is disassembled point by point.

To make a crossbody you will need:

    • Textile;
    • Pattern;
    • Carbine;
    • Threads;
    • Magnetic button;
    • Half ring.

    Such drawings will be required:

    • 2 rectangles, size 20x24;
    • Belt: size 7x110 cm, short belt 7x10 cm;
    • Valve: 2 rectangles (17x20 cm);
    • Large inner pocket: size (20x17 cm);
    • Small inner pocket (20x13 cm).

    Let's start sewing:

    • At pockets, process the entrance: tuck the fabric 0.5 cm, then another cm. At a smaller pocket, tuck the bottom edge.
    • We tack the small pocket onto the front side of the large pocket and sew it in the center, we get 2 pockets. We fasten the sides of the pockets with a basting.
    • We pin the pockets on the wrong side to the front side of the lining and baste.
    • We fold the parts of the valve with the front side inward and sew on the machine on three sides. We turn the valve inside out and lay a straight line along the edge of the part. Sew on one part of the magnet.
    • Fold the long belt and two short ones in half and sew on the machine.
    • The lining is folded face inward and stitched on 3 sides. Turn out the finished lining.
    • How to get the bottom of the bag? We fold the bottom with a corner as in the photo (the bottom and side seam should be visible). We retreat 2.5 cm from the edge along the side seam, draw a straight line and sew along it.

    • Cut off excess fabric, leaving a 1 cm allowance.

    • Similarly, according to the 2 previous points, we create another corner. Leave the lining on the wrong side.
    • We fold the main parts of the bag with the wrong side out and sew. The corners should be processed in the same way as on the lining, and the bag should be turned inside out.
    • Luggage assembly: attach the valve with the outer side to back wall bags, lay a basting at the top.
    • Baste the main strap to one of the side seams. Fold the shorter belt in half and tack to the other side.

    • Pull the lining over the base of the bag face to face, pin it with pins and sew on the sides and bottom.

    • Turn the product through the hole left on the lining, iron it and lay the machine line in a circle.

    • Insert the carabiner into the strap, solve the issue of length and flash.

    • Lower the valve, make a mark for sewing the second part of the magnetic button.
    • With hidden stitches, sew up the gunpowder, through which it came in handy for eversion of the product.

    Felt or felt clutch

Such an original clutch will turn out according to a one-piece pattern. Felt and felt do not crumble, so this material will be the most convenient for creating a masterpiece.

The future clutch will require a two-way zipper. Followed by:

    1. Make a measurement according to the finished pattern.
    2. Cut out 1 piece and sew on a zipper.
    3. The handles can be finished with buttonhole stitching.

    Tablet bag

Such a bag attracts attention with good capacity. In this model, you can put a netbook and, of course, a tablet. The bag is disguised as an ordinary female luggage. She will replace the usual bag for computer equipment, and will delight her mistress with a bright fashionable print.

A tablet bag is similar to a crossbody. Using detailed instructions to create a cross-body, you can sew a bag-tablet.

    Women's fabric

All of the above models are sewn from fabric. Any material is inferior in practicality to products made from natural and faux leather. But! In life there will always be events where to create full image you will need feminine and original reticules, seductive pouches or attractive small clutches.

If girls have basic knowledge in sewing and certain skills, then, relying on any master class, you can create a bag according to any pattern.

    Bucket bag

Carry-on luggage is convenient to use for trips to hardware and grocery stores. To create a bag-bag, any dense fabric and lining will do.

On the fabric, make the following cut: 2 - main fabric, 2 - lining.

    Next steps:

    1. Combine the main part of the product with the lining face inward, sew the handles on the machine. Make notches with scissors and turn them out. Repeat this step for the second wall of the product.
    2. Combine the two finished parts of the bag inside out, baste and sew on the machine.
    3. Close the open inner sections with an oblique trim.

A large collection of handbag patterns for the girls' piggy bank will prompt them to create charming models with stunning finishes.

For summer, a bright fabric bag is a real find. For a walk, to the beach, to the store, to meet friends - you will have many reasons to "walk" a new accessory. In addition, the "highlight" of this DIY fabric bag is that it easily folds into a compact cosmetic bag and just as easily transforms into a large, roomy bag!

The cosmetic bag, when opened, is the bottom of the bag itself.
It can be round, oval or rectangular with rounded edges.

    Assembled bags

    Cosmetic bag assembly

So, first let's start making the cosmetic bag itself. You will need materials such as:

    • Zipper (at least 10 cm, you can - longer). You can cut the zipper from old trousers, jeans, skirts.
    • Large 40 cm long zipper (again, can be cut from something used, for example, bags).
    • Makeup pattern. One of its details will be from the outer fabric, the other from the lining material, and the third from dublerin.

No seam allowances are needed on dublerin, only a hole for a zipper is needed

The process of assembling a cosmetic bag takes place in several steps.

    1. First, it is necessary to cut out blanks for a cosmetic bag from fabric and dublerin. Then, using an iron, you need to glue the doubler to the wrong side of the outer part, while centering it so that the same fabric edging is obtained on each side.
    2. The outer fabric with glued dublerin and the lining must be folded together right sides. Next, along the long edges of the zipper hole, you need to lay a machine line. All seams at the beginning and at the end of the line - fasten. Make sure these two lines are the same length.
    3. Next, carefully cut the fabric through two layers along the intended line.
    4. The lining must be pulled to the front side through the hole. The edges of the hole need to be smoothed well so that it turns out even.
    5. The zipper should be placed under the hole (under two layers of fabric), stitched along the edges of the hole. Thus we will sew a zipper. It is better to use a special zipper foot.
    6. Now determine where the cosmetic bag will fold in half, and then along this line, lay the seam through two layers of fabric.
    7. This line in the photo is at the top, above the sewn zipper

    8. Turn the wallet upside down. The lining layer is divided into two halves. The half without a zipper should be wrapped over the half with a zipper, this is how you can form the lining of the pocket. To secure the fabric, you need to lay a line close to the edge. The pocket is ready!
    9. Now it's time to attach the long zipper. Again, install the zipper foot on the sewing machine. We turn the cosmetic bag right side up, and the zipper so that its wrong side is visible. We sew a zipper, starting from the middle of the cosmetic bag.
    10. In the photo, the middle is marked with a tailor's pin with a red head.

    11. Make sure the zipper is sewn on slightly tight. This will make it easy to open and close. The pink line is the seam line, it should not go very close to the zipper teeth.
    12. The photo shows that at the very beginning the tail of the zipper is slightly curved - sew the same way.

    13. Sew the zipper along the edge of the wallet carefully, make small cuts on the zipper tape so that it fits well on the rounded edges.
    14. Having reached the other end of the middle line, you need to bend the zipper so that its teeth reach almost to the very top of the middle line, and the rest of the loose zipper is perpendicular to the cosmetic bag.
    15. Now you need to sew a zipper around the second edge of the cosmetic bag. The zipper must be bent symmetrically along the second side, starting from the center line.
    16. We sew until we get to the place where the lightning begins. Next, you need to similarly bend the zipper head so that it is symmetrical with respect to the middle line of the cosmetic bag and secure its end well. Make sure the zipper is sewn symmetrically about the middle!

Makeup is ready! We put it aside and proceed directly to sewing the fabric bag itself with our own hands.

    Assembling the bag

Before you start sewing the bag itself, you need to prepare everything you need:

    • Fabric - 30 * 67.5 cm
    • Two pieces of fabric for pens, each - 7 * 33 cm.

Measurements already include all seam allowances. First we will make the straps of our bag.

To do this, both long edges of the fabric must be folded 6 mm inside out, ironed.

Machine stitch along the long edges and the straps are ready.

Now they need to be placed above the top edge of the bag.

Above this topmost edge, the ends of the straps should protrude 2.5 cm. Sew the straps in place.

We continue to sew the bag with our own hands, the master class is already at the equator itself, the hardest part is behind.

We pull the straps up, bend the upper edge of the bag 1 cm inside out. We smooth this place with an iron.

And now we have to sew a cosmetic bag (which will serve as the basis) to the bag itself. We make 4 marks along the base of the bag, the same - along the circumference of the cosmetic bag. We put the wallet and bag right sides together. We align all the corresponding marks, making sure that the straps are located against the long edge of the wallet. If necessary, pin with pins. Sew along the edge to secure.

Very important points to help you get the job done right:

    • You need to use a special zipper foot - you will not see the zipper between the layers of fabric, but the foot will help you feel the teeth of the zipper.
    • The product must be placed under the zipper foot so that the material of the bag is on top, and the fabric of the wallet is on the bottom. Just not vice versa.
    • On the seam allowance (along the base of the bag) you need to make small cuts. This is necessary so that our fabric bends more easily.

Now we sew along the edge of the base of the bag, except for one point (where the tail of the zipper “meets” that very middle line). We fix the seam, leaving a hole of about 1-1.5 cm.

The hole is necessary so that the zipper slider can pass through it later.

After that, you will see that the base of the bag is almost ready.

And the bag itself will look like this:

The bag must be turned right side out and the slider very carefully pushed through the hole left.

Now we turn the bag inside out again, cut off the seam allowances, the extra zipper tape (to reduce it). Previously, this cannot be done in any way, otherwise the slider will simply fall out.

Well, we can say that the bag itself is ready. You can, however, sew a finishing seam along the edges of the cosmetic bag. This way it will look neater. And do not forget to secure the edges of the hole that was left to push the slider through. To do this, you need to bend the seam allowances and the zipper tape under the cosmetic bag and sew the finishing seam through all layers, except for the fabric of the bag itself (move it aside).

When you reach the hole, sew it very carefully, as close as possible to the edge around the slider.

And now the bag is definitely ready, while we put it aside.

Of course, you already understood how to sew such a bag with your own hands, but this is not the end of the work)

    We sew a lining

To make the lining we need:

    • Lining fabric for the bag - 30 * 67.5 cm (together with seam allowances). We recommend choosing nylon as a fabric, it is waterproof and does not unravel.
    • A piece of lining fabric, cut along the contour of the cosmetic bag. Account for seam allowances.

Sew up the side, attach the base of the bag. This is done by analogy with the previous work (tailoring the bag itself). But it will be easier to do all this now, because you don’t need to insert a zipper, as well as leave a hole. Just make a seam around the very base to secure it. Make sure that the oval of the base of the lining clearly matches the shape of the base of the bag itself. After all, this is not a circle that can be sewn in any way, you have to try.

Make sure that the side seam is done correctly, the lining is completely in line with the shape of the bag.

    Final assembly of the bag

Let's move on to the end of our work. Turn the bag right side out. The lining remains turned inside out. Then proceed according to the scheme:

Insert the wrong side inside the bag, remembering to align their oval bases.

Align the folded upper edges of the two layers, sew close to the edge with a finishing seam. This will hold the two layers together.

Now we make another seam around the entire perimeter, 2.5 cm below the previous one. The second seam will secure the ends of the straps of our bag.

Hooray! Finally, our transformer bag is ready!

Now fold it up and zip it up.

We got a cosmetic bag, a wallet or a small clutch that you can take with you anywhere.

What is the beauty of this product? First of all, in its compactness, smart and matching your clothes. appearance. A cute, aesthetic product that is in no way inferior to its store counterparts. Putting it in your usual bag or in the glove compartment of a car, for example, you will get it at the right time, and then hide it again. Such a transforming bag is a practical and very fashionable thing. The product can have a completely different shape, and even color solutions simply cannot be counted.

    Color compatibility

Let's say we have already figured out how to make a bag with our own hands, but how to choose the right color and texture of the fabric?

Today, the choice of fabrics allows our imagination to run wild as much as we like. Someone loves pastel colors that do not go out of fashion - this will be an interesting, classic solution.

Of particular note are bright bags with a floral print. They attract attention to their owner, and now you compare favorably with women with ordinary packages or template shopping bags! This bag looks great at the height of summer on the beach.

The following unions are in fashion today:

    • Pink + gray
    • Lilac + pink
    • Pink + purple
    • Blue + yellow
    • Light green + orange
    • Red + orange
    • White + emerald

You can dream up and choose a fabric with a childish pattern or a print that imitates the design of bags from Louis Vuitton.

If you decide to change the design of the bag a little, remember:

    • the circumference of the bag should always correspond to the perimeter of the cosmetic bag
    • the main zipper should be at least 7 or 8 cm longer than the perimeter
    • it is better to use a long zipper: you will cut off the excess part at the end, and working with a long zipper is much easier.

Try, experiment, despite the long description, this work will not take very much time. In the process, you yourself will guess how and what to do next. Having sewn one such bag, you will surely decide to make your girlfriends happy with such a useful and stylish product. By the way, what a great handmade gift!

Hello dear needlewomen))) Finally, I will show you how I create my favorite handbags))) I apologize in advance for explaining myself in my wrong language, because I have not completed any sewing courses and I don’t have people who are fond of this wonderful work girlfriends. that is, there is absolutely no one to speak with in terms) But on the other hand, there will be so many pictures here that, perhaps, you won’t even have to talk much.

    Well, let's start)
For the bag itself (as well as the lining, if it is of the same fabric), I cut out 4 rectangles 28 by 23 cm (including allowances).

I measure 1.5 cm from the beginning of the tuck, 4 cm to the sides and draw a rounded line, along which I will then sew the details.

I sew a pocket on one of the 4 parts.

I fold 2 parts with the front sides, cut off so that the tucks match and sew. I cut corners.

I turn the bag inside out and sew loops for carabiners (for a strap) at the top. For loops, I cut out rectangles measuring 7 by 3.5 cm.

For the front side of the valve, I made such a blank in the patchwork style. The squares are 6 by 6 cm (cut out 8 by 8), only the top one is longer, since the flap on top will go back ... First, I sewed all the squares together, and then stitched onto a rectangle from the same fabric as the bag (for strength).

From the extreme squares I measure 6.1 cm (1 mm as a margin) and lay a line along which I will then sew the front and inside of the valve.

I round the edges, I use a disk as a stencil (I really like its diameter).

I fold the outer and inner parts of the valve with the front sides and chip off ().
By the way, when I sew a valve from one layer of dense fabric, I definitely strengthen it with a doubler, it must be plump, otherwise it will ugly lie in waves.
And in this case The valve on the front side consists of two layers (cotton patchwork + cotton), on the wrong side cotton + cotton, glued with double-sided adhesive).

After I flashed the valve along the intended line, I cut off the allowances (I leave about 0.6-0.7 cm), and “on the turns” I make notches in a checkerboard pattern.

I install a magnetic lock on the inner part of the valve, placing a rectangle of felt (so that the bent "antennae" do not show through from the front side).

I turn the valve inside out and stitch along the edge.

After that, I sew to the edge on a typewriter.

I fold the bag and valve right sides and sew.

Oh yes, I forgot to say - the valve is cut 2 cm narrower than the bag (since there are still loops on the sides). The length of the valve in this case is 20 cm (it covers almost the entire bag), you can make it smaller (for example, the red bag with hearts has a length of only 15 cm, including allowances).

Next, you need to fold the front top of the bag with the front side lined. About the stitching you see... The lining and the bag are originally cut to the same size, but the darts on such a thick fabric create some height (i.e. they are thick, especially considering that one overlaps the other. So before sewing these parts together, I insert the lining into the bag, straighten it well and it turns out that the lining sticks out a little in height from the bag itself. That is why I lay such a line, with which I then combine the edge of the outer part of the bag (I hope someone understood something?).

As you can see, the lining is sewn not only along the front edge, but also grabbing a little back edge (as far as possible). Then the lining is turned right side out and inserted into the bag).

I fold it the way it should look like in the end.
I close the valve, straighten it well.

And I mark with a pencil where you want to put the second part of the button.
I install the button (without capturing the lining).
Then I sew the bag around the perimeter on a typewriter (previously, as you can see, there is a line sewn by me manually). Special attention should be given to the sides, where loops for carabiners are sewn. They turn out to be very thick (these sides) and they need to be stitched very carefully.

For the strap, I cut out a strip 120 cm long and 7 cm wide (if the strap is made of the same fabric with a fold). I use adhesive tape to reinforce. I don't know what it's called, but it's VERY dense. I glue the tape, then I smooth the allowances, I also bend the allowance on the opposite side inward.

I sew the edges of the strap and cut off the corners. And the tape is not made to the end, so that it would not be so difficult for the machine to then sew on the strap. But the tape should fall on the fold of the strap (on the carabiner).
Then I sew the strap around the perimeter and sew carabiners to it.

    Well, that's all.

Our little bag is ready and I hope it will please its owner.
