• DIY paper crafts light Christmas tree. Christmas trees made from individual fragments. Master class on making a cone-shaped Christmas tree from paper and cotton pads

    12.08.2019

Good afternoon Dear friends. We continue to prepare for the New Year and prepare crafts for this holiday that can easily be turned into gifts. In the last article we looked at it in general, and today we will create Christmas trees in a narrow manner. Link previous article.

Today's crafts will be made exclusively from paper. And there are so many instructions that with a normal approach, even a child can handle creating a Christmas tree. And if you don’t think it’s enough, you can try to make or create it yourself.

Well, for now we will begin to create beautiful forest beauties that will decorate your home throughout the holidays. And if you make a few pieces, you can assemble a whole fairy-tale forest on the window.

Take a regular sheet of paper. Of course, ideally it is better to take green, but white will do. Bend the sheet in two long side and draw the diagram shown in the photo below.

After applying the design, cut along the lines and bend as shown below. We make three blanks, and then glue them together. It turns out very beautiful and stylish. I am sure you will not see such Christmas trees anywhere else.

The following set of templates for making will allow you to create a Christmas tree in 3D format. You need to save and print the templates. We draw the diagram on a sheet of paper folded in two along the long side. And then we cut it out.

We cut along the main contour, and where the lines go inside we only make cuts. We bend the cuts at the end. Here, too, it is necessary to make two identical blanks in order to glue them together at the end and get volume.

If you wish, you can cut out more than just a Christmas tree. And a Christmas tree together with a fawn or a small Christmas tree standing next to it.

If desired, any craft can be painted to make it stand out from the rest of the Christmas trees. You can also use paints that glow in the dark.

And here is proof that children really love to do their own handicrafts.

Our beauties are ready. It turned out simply gorgeous. How do you like this idea?

For the next tree, it’s better to take it right away colored paper and immediately make a green Christmas tree. The tree is created from loops and curls.

On that score, if there was something you didn’t understand from the photo, I’ll leave a video on how to create such a masterpiece.

Christmas tree using origami technique (simple diagram for children with description)

Many people have been able to fold various figures from a sheet of paper since childhood. Well, remember airplanes or boats did all this simple technique origami. And I simply cannot help but talk about the fact that you can make a Christmas tree using the origami technique.

In order to fold the Christmas tree, you need to find an old book without a thick cover or a notebook with writing on it. Found it? Now let's continue, we wrap all the pages from the left corner to the middle. And so on every one. Therefore, a book that is too thick will not work.

Then we bend all the pages into a bag again.

The lower ponytail will need to be trimmed using scissors. Try to do everything slowly and carefully.

The product is completely ready. All that remains is to straighten out all the pages and sprinkle them with glitter.

How about this idea? The Christmas tree is a little more complicated to make, but it turns out more beautiful. First, train on a white sheet, and then when you understand the whole process, you can do it on a green one.

The following beauty can be offered to the children to make at a labor lesson in primary school. All instructions are provided below.

How to make a three-dimensional Christmas tree from corrugated paper for the New Year 2019

As promised above, today there will be various options making forest green beauties. And for the next craft you will need special corrugated paper or crepe paper. You will get a very beautiful Christmas tree.

    You will need to find:

    • cardboard or thick paper
    • corrugated green staple paper
    • scissors
    • red paper
    • various bows
    • beads

    Production stages:

We make a beautiful tall cone out of cardboard and cover it with green paper.

Make the strips approximately 10 cm long. We wrap each strip on a thin wooden stick or use a small brush to make a bud like this.

Fluff each bud and glue it to a paper cone. For a cone about 10-15 cm high, you will need to make over a hundred of these curls. To decorate the Christmas tree, you can use both ready-made and homemade bows. Christmas balls can be made from cotton balls sprinkled with glitter.

If the first option is too difficult for you, I suggest another option for making a Christmas tree from corrugated paper. It is less labor intensive.

We make the base of the Christmas tree from cardboard. You will need green paper, 18 cm wide and 2 meters long. We fold it in two along the entire length. Apply glue to the edge, leaving a free strip of 2 cm.

Glue and pull together to make a small skirt.

Next, we decorate our cone in a spiral with this blank. Don't forget to glue the strip to the cone. Finally, we decorate with improvised toys.

Or here’s another option for making a New Year’s beauty. We cut multi-colored strips 2-3 cm wide and wrap each strip cardboard cone all the way to the top.

Or you can do it like this.

New Year's beauty made of colored paper and cardboard

To make such a Christmas tree you need to make some blanks, three semicircles of different diameters. On each semicircle we make small cuts to create a fringe.

Then use scissors to twist the fringe. And we glue cones from the blanks. Well, then, on the large cone we put less on the middle one and the smallest one. At the end we will make a beautiful star.

Here is a similar option, but in the video there is a small life hack on how to quickly and beautifully cut these circles.

But such Christmas trees will look very organic on festive table. All made from the same paper circles various shapes. By the way, if the question of preparing salads is still open to you, here are some tips.

Or this option for making Christmas trees from simple wrapping paper.

Well, if you want to make something big, beautiful and warm, you can make a big beautiful New Year's beauty. To make a large Christmas tree you need to glue together several sheets of cardboard. Roll them into a cone.

Wrap the resulting cone in beautiful wrapping paper.

After removing everything unnecessary, decorate the Christmas tree with improvised toys and a star.

You can also make a Christmas tree from cardboard, but we won’t make cones.

You will need to print this stencil.

Next, cut out the resulting stencil, apply it to sheets of cardboard, trace it and cut it out. Fold in the middle. We make 8 identical blanks.

We'll go through the edges with a hole punch. If you have a figured hole punch, you can use it. We glue the middles together using double-sided tape.

Then we sew with white thread along the holes made. And we also cut out the star.

Finally, it is advisable to decorate with artificial snow and white sparkles.

Try making a colorful Christmas tree like this from paper circles and a wooden stick.

Or try making the same Christmas tree from candy wrappers and magazine clippings. Finally, coat the tree with glue and sprinkle with flour or sugar.

You can glue a Christmas tree from paper handprints. Preschoolers will really like this work.

And here is another master class on creating a Christmas tree from a glossy magazine.

And with such a Christmas tree you can decorate your workplace. You will need a green piece of A4 paper. We cut out a triangle and make a hole in the middle with a standard hole punch. We unfold the accordion and put it on the improvised trunk. Which can be made from the same sheet of paper rolled into a tight tube.

You can find these tips on the Internet. By the way, individual elements can be used to decorate the space around you.

A Christmas tree made of loops is something new; I really wanted to make something like this myself.

Another option for making crafts from loops.

Here's another idea on how to make a Christmas tree from improvised materials.

Let's return a little to decorating the office table. The next tree will be made from reminder leaves.

And even a preschooler can cope with this task.

Maybe you haven't tried making a Christmas tree using the quilling technique? So here's a good idea for you.

Yes, you can even make a beautiful New Year's beauty from napkins.

In order for you to get such beauty. You need several layers of napkins. Draw circles on a napkin, cut them out, and staple each circle in the center. Afterwards, crumple each layer to form a circle. Here are photo tips to help you.

Or try making a card like this.

Paper Christmas tree on the wall

Who said that a craft should be small and remote. I propose to make a large Christmas tree that will be mounted on the wall. There are immediately finished options, and there is an option in the form of a coloring book that you can color as you wish.

The first Christmas tree will be like this. We will make it from cut strips.

The second option will need to be downloaded and printed. Then collect it on a large sheet of Whatman paper.

Of course, these are not all the options for Christmas trees that can be made for New Year's holidays and decorate your home, office or room with them. But these options seemed to me the most beautiful and more New Year's. Happy new year to you.

The Christmas tree is one of the main attributes of such a large-scale holiday as New Year. No one forgets about it when purchasing live or artificial Christmas trees for their home and decorating it with different outfits, souvenirs, and garlands. We will make a Christmas tree out of paper, which can be placed somewhere in the apartment (for example, on a table), or it will not even be a shame to give such a craft to relatives or friends. Next, we will look at several ways to create Christmas trees from paper.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper (1 method):

Will need green paper, ruler, compass, glue, scissors and pencil (or a straw for juices, cocktails).

    1. Using a compass, draw several circles on paper. Each next circle is 1-2 cm smaller than the previous one. Choose the number and size of circles yourself, depending on the size of the Christmas tree you ultimately want to see in front of you.

    2. Fold each circle in half once, a second time and a third time (that is, you need to fold each circle in half three times). To ensure that the fold lines are clear, we draw along the edges with scissors.

    3. Straighten the circles. We cut a hole in the center of each that matches the diameter of a pencil or tube (depending on what we will use). It is also worth saying that the circles are the tiers of our future Christmas tree.

    4. Cover the pencil or tube with green or brown paper.

    5. Now we begin to assemble the Christmas tree. We string all tiers onto a pencil.

    6. Decorate the top of the Christmas tree with a beautiful bead or star. You can decorate the Christmas tree with sparkles if desired.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper (method 2):

You will need green paper, scissors, pencil, glue, compass, ruler, needle, wire.

    1. On green paper, draw a circle with a compass, the size of the lower tier of the future Christmas tree. Next, draw another circle inside the first circle, retreating from the first one a little more than half the radius. Using a ruler, divide the circle into 12 sectors.

    2. Along the business lines, cut to the inner (second) circle.

    3. We roll each sector into a cone, which we secure with glue.

    4. We create the remaining blanks in a similar way, gradually reducing their size.

    5. Using a needle, make a hole in the center of each workpiece.

    6. Roll the bottom of the wire into a spiral.

    7. We assemble all the tiers of our Christmas tree using wire. We attach a cone made of paper on top.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper with your own hands using the quilling technique (3rd method):

You will need: green paper strips 5 mm wide and four strips 1 cm wide, red and yellow strips 3-5 mm wide, toothpicks, glue (instant and PVA).

    1. Use four green strips with a length of 30, 20, 15 and 10 cm. Using a toothpick, twist them. Remove the part from the toothpick and let it unravel a little. The end of the strip is secured with PVA glue. We give all the spirals a drop shape by clamping and slightly pulling one of the ends of the spiral upward.

    2. Wrap wide green stripes tightly around a toothpick and glue the tip to them, not allowing it to unravel. Our tree trunk will consist of this.

    3. For the top of the tree, make a drop from a green strip 30 cm long.

    4. Now we begin to assemble the Christmas tree, securing its elements with instant glue. Glue the barrel parts together and give the glue time to dry.

    5. We insert a toothpick inside the trunk and glue our droplets-twigs. We start gluing with the smallest ones, which we glue to the top of the tree.

    6. Make toys from yellow and pink stripes by twisting the paper without using a toothpick. You can secure the ends until the paper unwinds, or you can make the toys a little looser and give them the shape of small droplets. Glue the balls to the branches you like.

    7. Glue a drop at the very top (don’t forget about it), and a decoration on it.

    8. You can make a stand, if desired. To do this, you will need to make nine curls from white paper strips. Glue the curls tightly together. Now we fix the Christmas tree on a snowy white stand with glue.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper with your own hands (4th method):

You will need: green cardboard, glue, scissors, tape, colored paints, pencils, felt-tip pens. Stickers, glitter, etc. can be used as additional decorations.

    1. Bend a sheet of cardboard in half and cut it along the fold line.

    2. Fold the resulting parts in half again.

    3. Draw half of the Christmas tree on one of the cardboard halves located opposite the fold (see picture).

    4. Place the sheets together and cut with scissors along the drawn line. As a result, you will get two Christmas trees of similar size.

    5. Mark the middle of each tree discreetly using a ruler.

    6. Make a cut on one tree, starting from the top to the middle, and on the other, from the bottom (base) to the middle.

    7. Insert the trees into the cuts so that you end up with one voluminous tree.

    8. To give the Christmas tree more stability, use tape - use it to glue the lower and upper halves together.

    9. To decorate the Christmas tree, use pencils, markers, glitter and other materials. You can use a hole punch to make small multi-colored circles, which you can then stick on the Christmas tree. You can tape a star to the top of your head.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper (5th method):

You will need: colored cardboard, glue, scissors, a hole punch, a small stick with a diameter approximately equal to the diameter of the holes that are obtained from the hole punch, decorations to taste.

Take rectangular cardboard, fold it several times as shown in the picture above, and then pierce it in the center with a hole punch. Then this cardboard is cut out at an angle so that the craft ends up looking like a Christmas tree (see picture). We drag our stick into the hole, and if it doesn’t hold firmly, we can secure it with glue. We decorate the Christmas tree. Decorations can be attached with glue. Such a Christmas tree can be placed somewhere (if you make a base for it), or hang it somewhere.

How to make an origami Christmas tree (method 6):

The material for such a Christmas tree will be one large magazine or several small magazines. If the magazine has a hard cover, you can simply remove it.

Do this for each page following procedure:

    1. Starting at the top right corner, fold the page at a 45-degree angle.

    2. Bend the sheet diagonally in half again.

    3. The corner that extends below the borders of the magazine needs to be turned up.

    4. We also do this procedure with the remaining pages and in the end we get a beautiful origami Christmas tree.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper using the origami technique (method 7):

First you will need to do triangular modules, from which the Christmas tree will begin to form. They are easy to make. You just need to know how to make them and be careful when creating them.

How to make triangular modules was discussed on our website in the article -? (look in the middle of that article for information about this if you don't know how to create them).

Here's another option from paper strips. This Christmas tree is ideal for decoration. Take a rectangular green piece of paper. Make it into a square. Cut the strips as shown in the photo below. Unfold the workpiece. Start gluing the resulting strips slightly overlapping each other.

Decorate the tree with any materials.

Or simply gluing strips onto a cone.

    • Take paper with a variety of New Year's themed designs;
    • Cut out 4 circles of different diameters;
    • On all circles, perform addition as shown in the diagram;
    • Turn the circle with the white side, continue folding until you can divide it into 8 equal wedges;

    • Continue folding the circle in half, dividing each of your 1/8 wedges in half so you have a total of 16 wedges;
    • Next, put each layer on the lace in order;
    • For the tree trunk, use wooden thread spools. Decorate the top with a large bead.

And another one interesting idea. It's very simple, but the souvenirs come out great.

Let's start with simple folding, but really not with classic version, since the parts will also need to be processed with scissors.

Take a square of double-sided paper 20 by 20 cm. Fold it in half, connecting the opposite corners. Next, complete the basic design - a triangle with folded internal corners. The product will be octagonal. Then make cuts and make sure that all the folds are in one direction.

AND detailed diagram with a description of how to fold the basic structure.

This is what a souvenir can look like.

Now a more complex version of modular components.

And now I offer you simple origami patterns for children's creativity.

How to make a Christmas tree from corrugated paper for the New Year

To give it more volume, it’s great to use corrugated paper instead of regular paper. Moreover, the process itself remains as easy and simple.

First you need to create a cardboard cone and secure its edges. Then cut strips of corrugated paper and glue them with a “skirt” in a circle to the base. Then, using different decorative elements, decorate the product.

Or here’s an option for making such an elegant craft.

If you cut the corrugated strips further, you will get fluffy branches.

Video on how to make a voluminous Christmas tree on the wall with your own hands

In addition to the fact that such products are made as window decorations, Christmas decorations, souvenirs for gifts, they also decorate entire walls and doors.

For example, here's a whole teamwork. You can also make such a miracle with your child at home.

I liked the wicker tree made from scrap A4 paper.

Or choose crafts from the options already proposed and mount them on a wall or door. I also recommend placing small items on shelves.

Or make a decoration according to the suggested photo master class.

By the way, you can also use large coloring pages in the form of our tree. At the same time, you also involve the children. Let them color and then you can mount their creation on the wall.

I think everything looks very beautiful and festive!

Master class on making a cone-shaped Christmas tree from paper and cotton pads

And finally, I propose to make a white beauty, 30 cm high and 15 cm in diameter at the bottom. And as a material we will use not only paper, but also cotton pads.

    You will need:

    • thick paper or cardboard;
    • cotton pads - 180 pcs.;
    • scissors;
    • scotch;
    • glue gun;
    • stapler;
    • beads;
    • ball.

    Manufacturing process:

    1. Cut out a base-cone from thick paper. Roll up the piece and secure everything with tape. The bottom can be additionally cut out of round cardboard and glued to it.

    2. Roll the cotton pads into triangles and secure with a stapler. Measure 3 cm from the base of the cone and begin gluing blanks from cotton pads. From this row, measure 3 cm again and then glue the disks. Repeat the steps until the very top.

    3. Glue a ball to the top of the head, and glue beads to cotton pads.

If you paint the wheels in advance, you will get a green beauty instead of a snow-white one.

As you can see, the discs do not need to be rolled up, but rather glued onto a cone in a round form.

For such a product, you can additionally make angels from the same cotton pads. They will only decorate your craft.

All products made using this technique are certainly very impressive and bright. The kids can easily make them. Therefore, schools and kindergartens can make just such crafts this year.

That's all, actually. As always, I wish you creative inspiration and positive communication, and as a result, Have a good mood. And yes, be sure to create a paper Christmas tree. May it bring you happiness this year!

First of all, we glue a cone out of cardboard. I do this by simply twisting the sheet around my hand. To prevent the workpiece from falling apart, we fasten it with a stapler.

And now we trim the base so that the tree stands straight and not crooked.

We always start from the foundation. The first two rows are “put down”, i.e. Glue them so that they lie on the surface, so the product will be more stable.

And subsequent rows need to be raised exactly on the previous ones by an amount equal to half the “spiral”.

When you finish the top, we begin to cover the entire craft with paint.

You can take green, or you can buy gold or silver paint in a can. Only then you need to spray it not at home.

I really like the result. It doesn’t take much time, but it looks very elegant.

Now it’s the turn of yarn and cord.

To make a Christmas tree from yarn, you need to paper cone wind the thread exactly above each other. Periodically fastening it with hot glue to the base.

    Decorate with decor.

This product is made even faster than from pasta.

You can decorate them with buttons.

    We will need:

    • Wire
    • Decor

First we select the wire. It should be tough and not thin. From it we roll up a cone-shaped spiral. We check for stability. The bottom can be wrapped twice.

We begin to string the cord onto the wire.

    Dry and decorate.

The glue will give the structure additional strength and will not allow the cord to slide down along the frame.

Volumetric Christmas tree made of paper

Paper is always the first thing the word “craft” is associated with. And from it you can create not just one Christmas tree, but an entire spruce forest, in which not a single tree will be the same!

Let's say we want a paper tree to make us happy on the kitchen table. Then you need to make it fluffy and voluminous. And also as stable as possible.

So, I have selected several detailed master classes with a clear description of the process.

    Option 1

    We will need:

We cut out many circles of the same size from paper.

And we begin to glue their edges to the cone, observing the rows.

The first layer always goes at the base.

This craft is accessible in terms of complexity, even to a two-year-old child. And it looks quite rich because of the different shades of the same color.

    Option 2. Terry cone herringbone

Cut out 4 semicircles. Each of them is 2 centimeters smaller in diameter than the previous one.

Glue the blanks into a cone and slightly cut the edges around the perimeter to get volume. Fold the terry edges a little.

Now we glue a smaller cone onto the largest piece. And so on downward.

    That's the whole simple process.

Option 3. Let's make a spruce out of paper circles

Cut out 4 circles. Each of them is 1 centimeter smaller than the previous one.

Then fold each circle in half 3-4 times.

We also make a base from paper. You can wrap green paper around a pencil or kebab stick.

We string the round blanks onto the trunk in descending order of size.

To give stability, you can place the trunk in plasticine, wax or wine cork.

    Option 4

We mark 15 circles, each time reducing the diameter by 1 centimeter. Then we divide each circle into 12 equal parts, drawing lines through the center.

From the center, mark half the radius and draw a circle. Now we cut the lines clearly to the drawn circle.

Glue the ends of each petal together.

When you have completed all the levels, start assembling the Christmas tree from the widest row to the smallest.

How do you like the ideas, I think you will find ideas for yourself.

Crafts from cotton pads for the New Year in kindergarten

Was your child dumbfounded by the task that you need to bring a craft to kindergarten tomorrow? And outside the window, of course, it’s already night. Then you can use a package of cotton pads. In most families they are actively used.

    We will need:

    • Packaging of cotton pads
    • Cardboard for cone base
    • PVA glue
    • Decor

We roll up the cardboard frame and connect the edges with a stapler.

Take a cotton pad and fold it in half.

Then we place two ends of a cotton semicircle on harmless PVA glue.

And glue the workpiece to the base, having previously smeared its fold with the same PVA glue.

We do this row by row. It’s better to glue cotton pads closer friend to a friend so that there is a minimum of gaps.

All that remains is to decorate the delicate beauty!

For children in kindergarten You will definitely like your product, and you won’t be ashamed in front of other parents.

    DIY craft from napkins

Another very affordable material is napkins. You can use the most inexpensive and plain ones.

We take white, red, blue and green holiday shades.

We fold the napkin several times to get a square shape, then we cut the folds and crosswise fasten the middle with a stapler.

Now we bend each layer, forming a pompom.

We lay out the first row on the frame with these balls. Then we glue the balls and other Christmas tree decorations onto double-sided tape.

And fill the entire surface of the frame with napkins.

    Everything is pretty fast.

By the way, you can see how to make one from napkins here. It also turns out very beautiful.

    Christmas tree made from candies

A craft made from candies would be a wonderful gift: buy a box at the grocery store good sweets in beautiful packaging.

It is made of two parts - a base for candy and a barrel.

Glue the base with a side of 23 centimeters. When cutting, make indents along the bottom edge and at one edge of 1 cm. We will apply glue to them.

We decorate beautiful paper or film. Glue the bottom to its base.

We make a trunk, decorate it and glue it to the frame.

Now we evenly place candies, braid or Christmas tree beads onto the hot glue.

Use the same color scheme for the base and candies.

Making a New Year tree from pine cones

Natural material always adds the right zest to the decor. Your home will immediately smell fresh and resinous. Will give symbolic meaning to this winter holiday.

The cones are also suitable for various crafts.

You can create a Christmas tree from only pine cones, or you can dilute them with sisal balls, decorative flowers or spruce branches.
The combination of pine cones and dried citrus fruits also looks unusual.

Glue the pine cones onto the base using hot glue. You don’t have to think about the side you have them on. This will add a slight, mesmerizing carelessness to the product.

We alternate cones with Christmas balls or other decor.

Cover with artificial snow or white enamel from a sprayer.

Everything is quite easy, and the result is incredibly beautiful.

    Light tinsel Christmas tree

We cannot imagine the New Year without tinsel! There are all sorts of decorations on it now: stars with balls, and multi-colored tips. It is used to decorate windows, curtains, walls and, of course, is used as a material for crafts: wreaths and Christmas trees.

Since most tinsel manufacturers put it on a thin wire, it easily lends itself to various bends and shapes.

A spruce tree is made from it in three minutes!

    We will need:

    • Tinsel
    • Sheet of cardboard
    • Double sided tape.

We make a cone-shaped base from cardboard and cover it with double-sided tape.

We remove the protective film from the first row and begin gluing the end of the tinsel, tightly wrapping the frame.

If you don’t have enough tinsel, then glue the end with tape, and put the next fluffy ribbon of the same color on top of it.

    Fluffy beauty made of pompoms

Pom-poms have also long been loved by our craftswomen. Previously, we made a dog out of them, but now we will create a fluffy beauty.

The balls themselves can be made in two different ways: wind 20 layers on a fork or use two round blanks.

We will go with the second method.

Take cardboard or plastic and cut out two identical rings.

Now, having stepped back 5 centimeters from the edge of the thread, we begin to wind the yarn very tightly.

Then we cut the outer fold between the blanks.

Using the remaining thread tip, we tie the middle of the pompom so as not to lose all the threads.

Now we look for a thick wire and roll it into a spiral. Leave the base wide. We string pompoms onto it.

If the wire is not found, then we use the experience of previous products and form a triangular or conical base.

    Felt Christmas tree ideas

Felt is also popular among our craftswomen. It can be used to make educational toys and Christmas tree decorations. Today I will give you a few ideas for creating a spruce tree.

From the most simple options, to complex.

Option 1. Cut out 10 Christmas trees of the same size from felt. Fold in half and glue the fold to the trunk.
We use branches, tree cuts (preferably spruce or pine).

Option 2. Cut out many identical triangles from felt.

We glue them to the frame in rows. The top triangle fits between the two bottom ones!

Option 3. Prepare 5 squares of different sizes: 9 cm, 7 cm, 5 cm, 3 cm, 1 cm.

We make five of each size.

Now we string the largest squares onto the thick one, distributing them diagonally to each other so that there are no voids.

We pass all the squares like this.

New Year's beauty made of fabric

And two more ideas for fabric beauties. The ends can be finished with a decorative stitch using a thick contrasting thread. Sew buttons or beads onto symbolic branches.

Use several fabric colors and textures. For example, take velvet on one side and linen fabric on the other.

You can also choose different designs in the same color scheme or, on the contrary, play with companion colors.

You can fill the Christmas tree with holofiber, padding polyester, or pieces left over from your creativity.

If the product is small, fill it with cotton wool.

My dears, I tried to select for you the most interesting and accessible materials for creativity. I would really like to know your opinion in the comments!

In the fall, you increasingly begin to think about the coming of the New Year with its festive mood, meetings with friends and family and, of course, gifts. In addition, since childhood, we have all associated the New Year with the Christmas tree! So let's talk about it)

Fortunately, people are increasingly thinking that it is not worth cutting down a live Christmas tree for the sake of a few holidays. Krestik and I fully support this decision and believe that a DIY Christmas tree is much more interesting and humane! In addition, these are excellent options for those who have nowhere to put a large Christmas tree (for example, there is no free space, or free space active little child).

We present to your attention large selection master classes on creating a decorative Christmas tree with your own hands, which will serve as a wonderful decoration for your home and an original gift to a wonderful holiday!

Christmas tree made of pine cones

Very original Christmas tree you can make it with your own hands from pine cones. But we will not use the whole cones, but will use only their scales so that the tree is not too bulky.

So, first, let's separate its scales from the cone. This can be done with a sharp knife, wire cutters or pruning shears.

Be careful, take care of your hands!

The next step is to make a cone from thick paper or cardboard, which will be the base of our Christmas tree. We roll the paper into a cone, glue it on the sides and cut off the excess at the base.

Then we simply take the scales in our hands and glue them in a circle, starting from the base of the cone.

You can glue each new row in a checkerboard pattern, or, like here, on top of each other.

You can glue a clove to the top of the tree (such a spice))

After the glue has dried, you can start painting our beauty. To do this, you can use spray paint or regular paint. acrylic paint.

If you choose acrylic paint with a metallic effect, your Christmas tree will look much more impressive.

Then we cover the ends of the “twigs” with PVA glue and sprinkle glitter on them.

This is the beauty that results from these simple actions:

Using exactly the same principle, you can decorate the cone with chains and beads, decorative cords, ribbons, braid, etc.

Another very popular way to make artificial Christmas trees with your own hands is to weave them from beads. This is perhaps the most painstaking method, but for lovers of beadwork nothing is impossible!

The detailed process of weaving Christmas trees from beads cannot be contained in one article, so we are sharing with you links to master classes previously published on Krestik.

This tree is very similar to a designer one, don’t you think? It’s all because of colored designer cardboard, which is so beautiful and bright that you don’t even need to decorate the Christmas tree with anything else), which simplifies the process of making a Christmas tree with your own hands.

Secondly, to make a designer Christmas tree, you can use threads that are wound on a paper cone using the technology of making openwork balls.

Thirdly, flower net and bouquet net.

The technology for making these three Christmas trees is very similar, so the process of creating them is shown in one master class.
