Every year I make playful educational birthday parties for my children. This time I decided to do an insect ball for my daughter and her guests.

The decision was made long before the birthday, since I bought all the necessary props in the winter, when there is a very large choice before the New Year. During the week, we invited guests (2 girls and 4 boys) to our insect ball, which took place at the dacha. The children's ages ranged from 3 to 9 years.

In the morning at the dacha we decorated the area in front of the house: we hung posters, balloons and small postcards with various insects.

When all the children had gathered, it was announced that they had arrived at the insect ball and they needed to change clothes. Props: antennae, insect wings, the birthday girl and the bee had matching dresses.

When the kids changed clothes, the following insects were our guests: ladybug, a bee, a bumblebee, a butterfly and three ants (older children).

The children were told that it was ladybug’s birthday, but we couldn’t start it because of the spider that was hiding on the web (in the morning they made a web on the tree, on which they put the spider, there was a note in its legs).

Draw the eyes with mayonnaise using a toothpick, and dots can be made from black caviar.

There were also various sweets on the table, and instead of juices, I made compote in advance.
