Hello to all tinkerers! flying crafts! Today we will tell you How even the smallest ones can do kite from paper. The proposed model is well suited for the first steps in designing flying aircraft. All you have to do is prepare everything necessary materials and tools, as well as step by step follow all the steps in the instructions.

Materials for constructing a paper kite

For creating paper kite We will need, in fact, a sheet of thin or thick paper, strong thread, ribbon for the tail, tape, scissors, a spool of thread (it can be made from cardboard), a stationery knife, as well as colored pencils or markers for coloring.

    Craft materials

    Making a paper kite

To create the body, we need a square sheet of thick paper, which we first fold diagonally.
Then, turn the corner of the sheet towards the central bend

    Picture 1

and do the same on the other side.
We unfold the workpiece, as in the figure below, and bend the corners marked with arrows to the sides.

    Figure 2

We make holes in the places marked with circles in the figure.

    Figure 3

    Paper kite body - READY.
Now you need to make a bridle, i.e. thread a strong thread through the holes and tie it to the body of the kite.

    Figure 4

The bridle should reach halfway to the body.

    Figure 5

For strength, tape the tied bridle with tape.
In the middle of the frenulum ( required condition) make a loop.

    Figure 6

We proceed to creating a tail from a ribbon 2-3 cm wide and 4-5 meters long.

    Figure 7

At the end of the ribbon you can attach a paper bow, which will stabilize the flight of the kite.

    Figure 8

If you don't have a spool of thread, you can make one from thick corrugated cardboard.

    Figure 9

Draw a coil diagram on it, cut it out, color it for beauty. Wind 20-30 meters of silk thread onto a spool, and tie two to its end (they will be used to fasten it to the bridle on the snake).

Basic forms origami is the basis on which the most different models. Some with minimal addition of folds, and some go so far from the “base” that it’s impossible to even keep them away! In addition, many of the simplest basic origami shapes serve as the basis for folding more complex basic shapes. Here we present six of the simplest basic shapes available for preschool children to fold:

    Basic origami shape “Triangle” Triangle
    Basic origami form “Kite”
    Basic origami form “Pancake”
    Basic form of origami “Book”
    Basic form of origami “Door”
    Basic origami shape “House”

Basic origami shape “Triangle” for children from 4 years old.

The simplest form. We bend a square sheet of paper diagonally. Kids accept this explanation well: we make a “scarf” out of a “handkerchief.” To fold neatly, we connect the opposite corners, hold them with the finger of one hand, and smooth out the fold with the other hand.

Based on the basic “Triangle” shape, you can make it with kids, for example, or a model and

Basic origami form “Kite” for children from 4 years old

First, fold the basic triangle shape and unfold it. We have the intended diagonal.
Connect the sides of the triangle to this line and the basic “Kite” shape is ready.
Based on this basic form, you can make a modular model

Basic form of origami “Pancake” for children from 5 years old

First fold the square diagonally in one direction. Let's unfold it and fold it into another one. Let's expand the square again. We get two diagonals marked with folds.
The intersection of the diagonals is the center of our square. Bend all the corners of the square towards the center.

This is the basic pancake shape.

Basic form of origami “Book” for children from 4 years old

A very simple form - just bend the square in half.

Basic form of origami “Door” for children from 5 years old

Fold the square in half and unfold it.
Bend the edges of the sheet to the intended center line. This is the basic "Door" shape

Basic form of origami “House” for children from 6 years old

This is the most complex of the basic forms presented here.
Fold the square in half, connecting the top and bottom sides of the square.
Fold the resulting rectangle in half and unfold it. We get the center line outlined by the fold.
Bend both sides of the rectangle to this line.
Now the most difficult part of the model remains. We take it with our fingers on one side right hand most upper layer paper and begin to unfold it from the center.

We hold the model with our left hand so that the remaining layers of paper remain in place. When we completely bend the paper, a triangle roof will form on top. Let's smooth it out with our finger. Let's repeat the same on the other side. The result was a house with two “entrances”.
You can use the basic origami shape “House” to create.
More complex basic origami shapes: square, double triangle, fish, bird and catamaran can be found in the article
To read the diagrams correctly and easily, get acquainted with. But keep in mind that these symbols are intended primarily for you. Children are ready to get acquainted with the elements of these signs only after seven years, and they will be able to “read” diagrams fully no earlier than 10-12 years, when their abstract logical thinking is formed.

Summary of a lesson on paper construction on the topic “Kite”.

Tasks: Teach a new way of folding paper - diagonally and in different directions. Develop Creative skills when making crafts.

Tools, materials and equipment:Square sheets of paper with a side of 25-30 cm, long cords or thick threads, colored and corrugated paper, glue, scissors.

    Progress of the lesson:

    1.Organizing moment.

Educator: Guys, today we will make a new one interesting craft. But I won’t tell you what it is, but I suggest you guess.

    This bird won't fly away

    This bird will return.

Let him circle under the clouds -

I hold the tail with my hands.

    Children: Kite.

    2.Learning new material.

Educator: Yes guys, it's a kite. And I propose to consider what types of snakes exist in different countries.

Showing illustrations with various types kites.

Educator: How many of you know where the kite came from? (children's answers)

    Teacher's story.

The kite was invented about three thousand years ago. There is a legend in China that once upon a time, a peasant, working in the field and fleeing from scorching sun, put a bamboo hat on his head. But a strong wind came and tore it off. The peasant managed to catch only the ribbon: the hat continued to dangle high in the air. It was this flying headdress that became the prototype of the kite. Then, for entertainment, kites were made from leaves or paper. However, kites have been used for military purposes for a long time. They were either filled with gunpowder and set on fire so that they exploded in the enemy’s camp, or the commanders-in-chief flew into the air on them to assess the size of the enemy’s army from above. And Buddhist monks used kites to ward off evil spirits.

The Chinese made kites in the form of dragons, birds or butterflies, brightly painted them, and attached them long tails. The snake had a long cord. Holding it in his hand, the person had to run quickly, then the wind would pick up the kite and lift it up. Later this toy took root in other countries. One day, an English inventor noticed that if you make a snake with wings and a tail, it will be able to rise into the air without wind or cord. This is how the glider was invented - a small light aircraft without a motor that could rise into the air by the power of the wind. And modern inventors, looking at the kite, came up with a large wing capable of lifting a person into the air. This wing is called a hang glider. Perhaps some of you have seen these aircraft. This is how a simple toy served people.

Educator: Would you like to learn how to make kites and then fly them outside? (Yes)

Showing one or two options for finished kites.

    Explanation of kite making.

Educator: A square of paper is folded diagonally, i.e. matching opposite angles. The fold is ironed well and unfolded again. Then each corner is folded so that its edge aligns with the fold line. After this, small corners are bent in the opposite direction.

    Goals:

    1. To increase the interest of preschoolers in designing using the origami technique.
    2. Teach children to construct a kite out of paper using a step-by-step map.
    3. Strengthen your skills in decorating finished crafts.
    4. Develop vocabulary and expressiveness of speech.

Equipment: surgical card, squares of colored paper, paper scraps, multi-colored threads, scissors, glue.

Lesson for the preparatory group on design using the origami technique (origami circle)
    Topic: "Kite"

    Progress of the lesson

    1. Organizational moment

Guys, today we came to our workshop to design. What are we going to design? Listen to a poem by Sergei Mikhalkov.
    (S. Mikhalkov’s poem “Kite” is read to the children)
(pictures of a kite are shown)

    - So guys, what does it take to make a kite? (paper, wood chips, glue).
What kind of weather should the weather be like for a kite to fly into the sky? (windy)

That's right, today we will construct a kite out of paper and fly it into the clouds.
(an operational map and a sample of a kite glued to the depicted cloudy sky are displayed)

Here is a step-by-step map for constructing a kite, let's try to figure it out. What shape of paper do we need? (square)
What should you do with it first? (roll diagonally).
What then? (turn to the diagonal, the sides that are adjacent to each other).

    - Well done! And to decorate the resulting kites, let’s take colored pencils, colored paper and multi-colored threads for the tail.

    Physical education minute

We cut paper, cut it (movement according to the poem test)
    We crumple paper, crumple
    We glue paper, glue
And we take it to the exhibition.

Children construct their own kite using a step-by-step map.

    - Well, guys, we have finished our crafts. You made some wonderful kites. How did we make them? Who will tell?

“Now let’s launch them into the clouds, like the boy from the poem.”
