• Modern wedding. A wedding without traditions is a new direction in wedding fashion

    09.08.2019

    A wedding is a bright and memorable event in the life of a family. Every bride dreams of being a princess... early years. Young people wear a festive costume in honor of such an event. And from just a loved one, the young man turns into a handsome prince, who rushed to his beloved on the wings of love. But couples often do not want to celebrate such an event the way their parents did. that have developed over centuries seem ridiculous and inappropriate to them. They have outlived their usefulness.

    No boring buybacks! Unbridled fun - yes!

    Young people prefer to celebrate their wedding in a different way. They are disgusted by ransom with competitions a la the 80s. I don’t like sitting around the table singing songs to the accordion. The modern wedding is the solution to the problem. Weddings require adherence to style and theme. Every little detail is important for the overall atmosphere, right down to the dress code of the guests. A wedding happens once in a lifetime, and you want to have a celebration not only for the body, but also for the soul.

    Starting preparations for the wedding, they draw up a script. This is what they do:

    • the newlyweds themselves;
    • leading;
    • Event Agency;
    • Friends;
    • relatives.

    The place and time have been determined. What's next?

    Before drawing up a script for a modern wedding, the concept of the event is determined. It is worth carefully considering the location of the wedding. It could be:

    • restaurant;
    • Vacation home;
    • yacht;

    Depends on the venue and the desires of the young people. on a yacht - the scenario of a modern wedding for newlyweds, in whose company there are few representatives of the older generation. You can celebrate a wedding in a restaurant like a social event. Ladies in long dresses and gentlemen in tailcoats will not leave even the older generation indifferent. And the musical accompaniment of the symphony ensemble will delight the ears of sophisticated audiences.

    Conservatives, go!

    Those who pay tribute to traditions would like to arrange a bride ransom. Instead of money, they use alcoholic drinks and souvenirs. And the redemption scenario is proposed as modern. Invented competitions are characterized by unconventional thinking. More precisely, this will be the completion of a quest. It can be organized in absolutely any territory chosen for the celebration. You can do a traditional romantic photo shoot early in the morning before the wedding.

    So that everyone can fully enjoy the celebration, a modern wedding can last two days. On the first day, the newlyweds attend the ceremonial registration at the registry office and go to a photo shoot. This eliminates the need for guests to follow the newlyweds around the city in search of good locations for photos. And on the second day, the newlyweds and guests enjoy the fun. The bride can wear the same dress twice or appear in a new outfit every day.

    It will help not to divide the wedding into two days. It will take place in the same place where the newlyweds plan to have fun with guests. Instead of the standard registry office hall, the newlyweds will find an arch decorated with flowers and waves of fabric, a path of flowers and petals, beautiful live music and friends on both sides of the arch. What could be more romantic?

    The bride can be escorted to the altar by her father or godfather. This will also emphasize the girl’s transition to new family. After this, the newlyweds say: Everything depends only on the wishes of the newlyweds.

    After registration is completed, you will not have to stand in traffic jams getting to the banquet venue. Guests and newlyweds can start having fun.

    When writing a script, it is worth thinking through all the questions regarding:

    • musical arrangement;
    • lighting design;
    • color scheme;
    • floristry;
    • costumes for young people and guests;
    • leading.

    Timeless classic

    We should not forget about the representatives of the older generation. They do not always share youth trends. When organizing a wedding, it is necessary to take into account their interests. There are rituals that have not changed for a long time:

    1. Lighting up the family hearth. Mothers of young people pass on to them a piece of the warmth of their hearth.
    2. The first dance of the young. This is one of the most beautiful and gentle dances at a wedding.
    3. Dance of the bride with her father. It emphasizes the depth of feelings between them.
    4. Cutting the cake. According to tradition, the young people sell the first piece. This is an additional guest contribution to family budget new cell.

    Everyone is having fun

    Preparing a script for a wedding, funny and modern tendencies necessary and can be used. Humor has always been the key to success. Therefore, it is worth spending a couple humorous competitions, which will not hurt the feelings of the guests. Such competitions will amuse those present and lift the spirits of the young people. Following modern trends, you can record a humorous video about a wedding. In general, it’s up to the young to decide how to introduce a touch of humor. The main thing is that it pleases them and those around them.

    The prize goes to...

    Well, what would a wedding be without competitions! After all, just sitting at the tables and periodically going out for dance breaks will be boring for guests. Representatives of two families gather at the wedding. For the most part, they are practically unknown. It is competitions that will allow everyone to get to know each other better and make friends.

    “Bearded” competitions with balls and pencils are not in fashion today. Self-irony and creativity have become the pillars on which modern wedding competitions are based. For example, we can offer to congratulate the newlyweds on in a comic form. A second example of a competition would be a list of flattering and laudatory epithets addressed to the bride and groom. Whoever names the most wins.

    The children's favorite game of forfeits is also not left aside. When compiling a list of modern competitions, do not forget about the favorite competition of all newlyweds: determining the gender of the first-born using sliders and the guests’ money. This is what witnesses do. Mothers of young people should not sit at the table either. They are asked to quickly swaddle the baby. After all, they may soon become grandmothers, and remembering the skills will not hurt. A competition with a rope will amuse guests. Having pulled it at a decent height, guests are invited to walk under it while dancing. Each time it sinks lower and lower. Only the bravest and most flexible guests will reach the finals.

    Songs until the morning

    Modern performers delight listeners with various musical compositions. They can be used to arrange musical breaks throughout the celebration. But to entertain guests, many presenters offer to do some kind of karaoke. To do this, the melodies of famous hits are taken, and the words are written independently. They also contain various wishes. If you don’t have time to come up with words, you can use ready-made ones and choose to your taste among hundreds of compositions. Such modern wedding alterations will appeal to all guests, regardless of age and social status.

    Host of the evening

    As for the hosts of the wedding celebration, you should not skimp on them. Even the most thoughtful and clearly planned modern wedding can be ruined by the unprofessionalism of the host. A toastmaster with little experience or someone invited at random may behave incorrectly, which will put the newlyweds and guests in an awkward position.

    So that the newlyweds do not have to worry about their holiday, a modern wedding toastmaster is required. In conditions of fierce competition, the hosts try to please the guests and the bride and groom as much as possible. They will not allow bearded competitions or toasts. Jokes below the belt will not be allowed. In order to avoid other troubles, it is worth discussing in advance all the awkward moments regarding taboo topics and preferences in conducting the holiday.

    Modern presenters, as a rule, collaborate with sound engineers, which will help save time searching for one. They can also take care of the lighting design. They can also recommend an inexpensive company for decorating the hall.

    From what, from what...

    Modern wedding traditions are presented in a wide range. These include:

    • outside registration;
    • engagement;
    • hen and stag parties;
    • exchange of wedding rings;
    • showering the young with sweets, petals, rice, millet, etc.;
    • dance of the young;
    • bouquet and garter toss;
    • releasing pigeons;
    • a wedding cake;
    • gifts for parents.

    The list of traditions is wide. It includes the main components of any wedding. They can be supplemented with others or modified in accordance with the wishes of the bride and groom. But for the most part they remain. Almost no couple can deny themselves the pleasure of having fun before the wedding at bachelor and hen parties. And not giving gifts to the people who gave life on such a day is simply a crime. Determining those next in line for family happiness has also become a good tradition.

    Congratulations to the young

    As for the guests, they also want to be as original as possible. To do this, they come up with all sorts of ways to surprise the newlyweds and their guests. Reading a congratulation from a postcard and giving a gift is considered trivial. It is much more interesting to congratulate the newlyweds with a song of your own composition or perform an original dance. It would be useful to compose and show a scene from a big and friendly family. Such a congratulation will be etched in the memory of the newlyweds and guests for a long time. Pop stars can congratulate the newlyweds. Such modern wedding congratulations will make a lasting impression. This will allow you to show your talents and your originality.

    A successful modern wedding involves many nuances. Their observance is mandatory for all invitees and newlyweds. It is necessary to choose a professional host and carefully develop a script, invite loved ones to your celebration, and come up with modern wedding competitions. Then you can put on nice outfit and enjoy what you have done. The main thing is to love and be loved, and the organization of the holiday can be entrusted to professionals. May you live happily ever after!

    “I want a modern wedding in European style“,” “We dream of a modern wedding” - in the last couple of years, these phrases have been heard from the lips of newlyweds more and more often.

    And that's actually great. Being modern is great.

    There’s just one question - what is a MODERN wedding?

    Personally, I have the impression that by “modern wedding” most newlyweds mean all those fashionable, trendy trends that have come and continue to come to us from abroad. For example, on-site registration. Or sweet table. Or a wedding with a certain style. Moreover, brides are sure that ANY of these points (even just one) automatically makes their holiday modern.

    Here is a bride writing on the forum that she wanted so much, she really wanted a modern European (another obsessive word) wedding, she did so much for it. Let's look at the report: the day begins with a ransom in a shabby entrance, continues with the registry office (witnesses with ribbons all over their chests are obligatory!), then a banquet with vague decor, and the photos themselves are somehow cloudy. Oh yes: the bride chose the wedding palette! She put a blue belt on her dress and ordered the same bouquet, and tied an indigo tie for the groom. Super. But where is such a desired modern celebration?.. After all, in terms of scenario and implementation, this holiday is almost no different from the wedding that the bride’s mother had.

    Yes, I also believe that everyone has the right to celebrate the way they want. But I am against the substitution of concepts. If you like a TRADITIONAL wedding - for God's sake! Mothers and grandmothers celebrated this way, and it’s not a sin for us. But when they add a couple of fashion trends to a traditional wedding (which often looks ridiculous) and proudly call the resulting mess a “modern wedding,” it doesn’t go anywhere.

    So let's figure it out.

    What is a TRADITIONAL wedding?

    1. Keeping Traditions (as the name suggests) - the most important part celebrations. No one thinks about the deep meaning or appropriateness of the rituals; the main thing is to carry them out.
    2. A traditional wedding is a family event and a reason to get together. Therefore, it is customary to invite all close (and distant) relatives to such a celebration in order to personally demonstrate to them the new family members.
    3. The registry office is a mandatory and indispensable item wedding day. After all, official registration takes place there - that’s what the holiday is for.

    At a traditional wedding, the desires of the newlyweds, their capabilities, their tastes are not so important - the main thing is to do everything “like people do.” Therefore it is often said that traditional wedding is arranged for parents and guests, and not for young people. Although in reality this is not so: after all, no one thinks about the real needs and desires of guests and parents at such a holiday. A traditional wedding is organized essentially to feel that everything was “right”: no worse than others and the way it has been for many years. The fact that the holiday turns out to be tiring, hectic, and simply ugly does not matter. The standard is met - that means everything is in order.
    Decor, photos and videos, and the overall aesthetic side of the celebration at a traditional wedding are little things. Therefore, the bride can get ready in her parents’ cluttered apartment, the ransom ceremony is held in the entrance, a cheap dining room decorated with posters is chosen for the banquet, and “Vasya’s friend with a DSLR” is contracted to film – and this doesn’t bother anyone at all. Delays, hours-long waits, stupid driving back and forth, troubles at such a holiday are also the norm, since the concept of “organization” (and especially the organizer) is virtually absent. Someone just “takes care” of the wedding—the bride, the newlyweds’ parents, the bridesmaids. Also, for a traditional wedding, it is completely natural to organize a party for 100 people with a budget of 200,000 rubles - well, we save, so what. After all - see above - traditions have been carried out, relatives have been gathered and signatures have been placed in the registry office, and this is the main thing.

    What is a MODERN wedding?

    1. Individuality. The most important thing when organizing a modern wedding is to reflect the personalities of the newlyweds, their tastes and hobbies. Therefore, for such a celebration they are looking for some of their own “tricks”, “highlights” that no one else has.
    2. Atmosphere. The key step in creating a modern wedding is choosing a concept, i.e. the mood and style that the newlyweds want to breathe into their holiday. Cheerful or gentle, youthful or cozy - each of these words has its own wedding, different from others.
    3. Aesthetics - great importance is attached to the external side of the celebration. At a modern wedding, everything should be beautiful - inside and out!
    4. Comfort. A modern celebration is organized convenient and enjoyable for everyone: guests, newlyweds, wedding professionals. Otherwise, what kind of holiday is this?

    A characteristic feature of a modern wedding is the desire to stand out, to make the celebration unique, unlike all others. It is from this desire that the choice of style, theme and palette of the wedding, thoughtful decor, images of the newlyweds, an individual ceremony, etc. follow. and so on. After all, all this is designed to distinguish YOUR holiday, make it special, and create the right atmosphere. Since a lot of effort is directed specifically at the external side of the celebration, the key specialists at a modern wedding are the photographer and videographer: beauty should be adequately captured and remain in your memory forever. In addition, maximum attention is paid to the competent organization of the holiday: a convenient day plan, precise timing, insurance against possible force majeure. This allows guests to have fun and relax, newlyweds to relax and enjoy their day, and wedding pros to do their job in peace.
    But elements “like everyone else” are not welcome at a modern wedding and are excluded if possible. Yes, traditions have their place - but, as a rule, in a modified form: the newlyweds strive to play with them in their own way, to give them some kind of individuality or at least aesthetics. The registry office with its standard registration is also not attractive - after all, it cannot be decorated to your taste, and the ceremony can only be held at a strictly designated time in a place not designated by you.

    RESULT:

    I think the attentive reader has already seen the fundamental difference between a traditional wedding and a modern one. If a traditional wedding is a celebration “as everyone else does,” “as it should be,” then a modern wedding is “NOT like everyone else,” “as WE want.”

    A modern wedding is not a set of some “fashionable” elements, not “that’s the way it is now.” This is a holiday that you create FOR YOURSELF and TO YOUR TASTE.

    Many brides ask questions like, “Are gifts needed for guests? How much should they cost? “What traditions must be carried out at a wedding?” “Can the bride take a bouquet other than flowers?” and so on. Obviously, they are waiting for some kind of “correct” answer, an authoritative opinion that will judge how to do it and what not to do. But MODERN concept wedding suggests that the answers to all these questions can only be in one place - in your head. Because there are no MANDATORY elements at such a wedding, and the only condition for the celebration is the presence of the bride and groom. All other elements can be added, removed and changed to your taste.

    To create a modern wedding, you need a certain courage and breadth of thought: after all, it is much easier to focus on “standards” than to come up with essentially your own personal holiday scenario. Therefore, only a few newlyweds are still pursuing the path of creating a truly modern wedding. The majority continues to follow traditions, supplementing them with some modern details as much as possible. Hence, for example, a huge number of weddings with an outdoor ceremony, but a mandatory visit to the registry office on the same day in the morning, and even in the presence of parents. Why, then, one might ask, organize a second registration in the evening, since one has already taken place today? After all, this is inconvenient and generally strange. Because marriage is “supposed” to take place in the registry office, and not anywhere else, so we go to the registry office. And going away is for guests, for beauty, it’s so fashionable, but we ourselves don’t believe in it. Here all I and common sense can do is throw up our hands in complete helplessness.

    Another example: brides allocate truly ridiculous budgets for wedding decorations, and even that money is pitying to the point of tears - but “nowadays it’s customary to decorate.” As a result, the hall is “decorated” by the cheapest novice designer who, to put it mildly, does not create masterpieces. Situations are also common when a bride finds a job she likes in a decorator’s portfolio and asks to do “the same thing, only in a different color.” But “the same thing” is like at someone else’s wedding, which means it’s not unique, not customized, but “like others do.”

    There are no known bad or good options weddings There is what YOU choose! Therefore, the most important thing is to understand what is important to you in a celebration. Do you believe in the registry office? So go to the registry office and don’t break yourself! Do you feel sorry for spending money on wedding decorations because, in general, they don’t matter to you? Find a beautiful banquet hall and relax. And stop chasing fashion if all these trends are deeply alien to you, and your soul asks for something familiar, understandable and “ours.”

    And if you still want a REAL modern wedding, my respect to you. Read my blog - it's definitely for you. ;))

    What does the average person imagine when they hear the word “wedding”? Registry office, wedding procession, banquet in a restaurant, competitions, songs, dances. These are the modern wedding traditions. However, a modern wedding is not necessarily a “standard” scenario, which involves a ceremonial registration at the registry office and restaurant gatherings with the participation of a toastmaster and fifty relatives.

    As opposed to the traditional wedding, there is the so-called creative wedding, radically different from what our ancestors were used to. True, no matter how cool the modern youth ceremony may be, there is no, no, and there is at least one ancient tradition, be it bride ransom or throwing unmarried girls. Not to mention exchanging rings...

    Customs of our ancestors at weddings

    Interesting facts about the ancient customs of our ancestors. In earlier times, a wedding was the logical conclusion of a whole chain of events. First there was fortune telling for the betrothed. As a rule, fortune telling was done on religious or pagan holidays. Then - the bride's party, and after them - matchmaking and engagement. On the eve of the wedding, the bride always had a bachelorette party, and the groom had what was called “groom’s get-togethers.”

    In Rus', it was also customary to take a steam bath on the eve of the wedding - this symbolized washing away the sins of single life and accepting new responsibilities “with a clear conscience.” As a rule, in those days there was practically no marriage for love; most often, mothers married their daughters to rich, older men. An integral part of the ceremony was the bride price, the wedding train and the wedding ceremony, after which a feast was held, if not for the whole world, then for the whole district. Throwing tradition wedding bouquet into the crowd is also one of the traditions of our ancestors.

    Today, wedding traditions have undergone some changes. Before deciding to get married, young people can cohabit for some time, checking each other out in everyday life. At one fine moment, a young man proposes his hand and heart to a girl - and we get ready for the wedding!

    Meeting the parents (in our time this can take place even after the proposal), submitting an application, and on the wedding day – bride price, wedding procession, often led by a limousine or other cool “car”, ceremonial painting and continuation of the celebration somewhere in a restaurant where young people and guests are entertained by the toastmaster. Among modern traditions, it is worth noting the tying of champagne bottles “for good luck” and the release of doves into the sky - birds of peace and harmony. Moreover, not only newlyweds, but also witnesses and sometimes guests are released - it all depends on the financial capabilities of the bride and groom.

    Modern wedding in our time

    A modern wedding, unlike an ancient one, does not necessarily imply following traditions. Even a bride in a long white dress is more a tribute to the customs of our ancestors than something obligatory. Modern brides keep up with fashion trends, choosing a wide variety of styles of wedding dresses, including ultra-short dresses, not to mention experimenting with color schemes.

    The wedding ceremony is also not mandatory and is performed solely at the request of the newlyweds. And the solemn ceremony in the registry office is also not required condition. Interesting solutions for outdoor ceremony scenarios are becoming an excellent alternative congratulatory speeches, memorized by the registry office employees.

    The advantage of organizing a holiday by wedding agencies

    A wedding was an expensive affair even in ancient times, let alone these days, when so many possibilities are open! And young people believe that they will get married once and for all, so they want the best, the brightest... But you can’t foresee everything! Therefore, it is not surprising that services have become popular these days wedding agencies(not to be confused with marriage!), who take upon themselves the organization of the wedding celebration. Young people are busy with the list of guests, choosing clothes, personnel - photographers, cameramen, makeup artists... They don’t want anything extraordinary, they just need a high-quality organization. At the request of the bride and groom, the wedding agency organizes a celebration, be it a banquet in a restaurant for a certain number of invited guests or a cool ceremony in Las Vegas. Weddings abroad are in great demand among wealthy young people, so the number of offers from wedding agencies is quite large.

    Creative wedding

    Almost every modern couple wants their wedding to be the most unusual, the coolest, the best. Today's youth are of the opinion that a wedding should be played, first of all, for themselves, so you need to think through its scenario based on your wishes, and not the demands of relatives. A creative wedding that is not similar to a traditional ceremony and does not fall into the usual wedding templates - this is what many modern young couples gravitate towards.

    Decisions for such a wedding can be the most unexpected, starting with the bride’s outfit and ending with the place of the ceremonial celebration. There is no clear definition of the concept of “creative wedding” - it all depends on the imagination of the newlyweds. Interesting outfits made from the most unexpected materials, from peacock feathers to condoms, a beach or a railway carriage as a ceremony location, an orienteering quest instead of the usual competitions.

    Cool outdoor ceremony or wedding script, based on a fairy tale where a brave knight rescues a princess from a dragon's cave. A celebration based on common interests related to lifestyle. Thus, a solemn wedding in the registry office of a biker couple who arrived at the ceremony in vests and accompanied by a huge clone of motorcycles is also a creative wedding.

    Modern antiquity at a wedding

    Despite the “boom of extraordinary weddings,” many couples prefer ceremonies that are as close as possible to previous traditions. So, even if the bride and groom live together, on the eve of the wedding they leave so that the next morning, before visiting the registry office, the groom can commit.

    Tradition is being revived church wedding. As you know, in the old days, the blessing of the church was considered the basis for concluding a union, and official registration of marriage was introduced so that representatives different religions could also get married. Gradually, the state seal replaced the sacred union, but modern wedding statistics show that more and more couples prefer to add a church rite to the stamp in their passport.

    An interesting observation: in the era of extraordinary and most unexpected solutions for wedding ceremonies, in an era when search original options for weddings has become mainstream, following traditions has acquired a new connotation. If until recently this was tacitly considered a sign of conservatism, today weddings with an emphasis on the traditions of our ancestors carry a certain warmth and sincerity that is not inherent in “non-format” weddings. So we can conclude: no matter how many new things humanity invents, everything still returns to its roots. And a traditional wedding will always be relevant and modern, regardless of the passage of time and newfangled wedding trends.

    A wedding is a fairly traditional event. But modern trends in its celebration can turn this ceremony into a unique and inimitable one.

    Everyone knows how it was customary to play weddings in the old days: matchmaking, dowry, ransom, wedding, noisy folk festivities. Many traditions today have disappeared or changed. A modern wedding is a celebration of two people, which they create only to their liking.

    Inviting guests

    Those times when all relatives, including the most distant and complete strangers, were invited to a wedding are a thing of the past. A modern wedding has become quite an expensive pleasure. In addition, today this is a family celebration in the full sense of the word. It is celebrated in a narrow circle of those people with whom you sincerely want to share the joy. Moreover, what fewer guests, the higher the level of service, overall organization of the holiday and, ultimately, fun.

    By the way, the approach to wedding invitations has also changed. Postal invitation cards have lost their importance: now they serve rather as an elegant addition to phone call or email. Ideal modern version— sending beautifully designed wedding invitations by e-mail.

    Newlyweds' outfits

    Today's newlyweds do not hesitate to deviate from traditions in their outfits. Brides are no longer limited in their choice of shades of white. Wedding Dress can be bright, rebellious: even red and black colors, unthinkable before, are quite acceptable today. Moreover, the bride's dress does not have to go to the floor. Midi and mini options are very popular, especially in summer. And a wedding trouser suit has long been considered acceptable.

    The groom is also allowed to experiment with his outfit. Low-key monochrome is no longer the only option for his image. The modern wedding allows for unexpected color combinations (even the iconic yellow boots, which blow up the classic dress code) and extravagant styles.

    Bridesmaids and best man

    In the newlyweds' retinue, changes along Western lines have also emerged. Increasingly, the best man and bridesmaids are taking the place of the traditional witness and witness. The latter, by the way, are usually dressed in the same style - another wedding trend that we picked up from movies about beautiful life.

    Bride ransom

    Ancient rite The bride price is rapidly losing its usual weight. Many newlyweds consider it a relic of the past and simply refuse this stage at their wedding. Others are trying to modernize the ransom, since there are many ways to get away from banality. In any case, the newlyweds dictate their own rules, and accept traditions flexibly necessary forms.

    Holiday decor

    In the decoration of the celebration, there is also a noticeable departure from fair folk customs. Modern weddings have become much more restrained, romantic and stylish. Today, in the decor of the bride’s home and banquet hall, you can see posters with “Tili-tili-dough” less and less often.

    The ditty (sometimes even obscene) congratulations on the walls have lost their relevance. Appeal to wedding designer becomes the norm. But even if the celebration is organized independently, there is a noticeable desire to withstand High style: One-color celebrations, eco-friendly and themed weddings are popular.

    Themed wedding

    Stylized weddings are at the height of fashion today. The usual wedding scenario - ransom, registry office, walk, banquet - they allow you to play it out in such a way that no one gets bored or tired. There are a lot of inspiring themes: retro, dudes, an 18th century ball, Hawaiian madness or Alice's adventures in Wonderland.

    Remember your favorite book or movie - and go ahead, implement it! The secret to a successful themed wedding is attention to detail. Invitations, decor, menus, souvenirs for guests - absolutely all wedding moments should be subordinated to the chosen idea.

    Outside registration

    Popularity themed weddings closely related to the possibility exit registration marriage. Agree, it is much more pleasant to take the oath of allegiance in a blooming garden or on the seashore. This is a great chance to escape from everyday routine and enjoy the holiday to the fullest.

    Today, a registry office employee can be called to almost any place you want. Moreover, you can write a speech to him yourself - a godsend for those who want to organically weave the official procedure into original script weddings

    Banquet

    The crowning point of the Russian wedding celebration - a feast for the whole world - is also undergoing certain changes. Today's newlyweds increasingly prefer a buffet to a lavish banquet, especially when it comes to a destination wedding. This form of holding a wedding feast is distinguished by the fact that the invitees freely move between tables with food and drinks, serving themselves.

    There are no chairs or a common table with strictly designated places, since the purpose of the evening is fun and communication, and not a rich meal with libations. Another innovation that came from the West: at the end of the holiday, it is not the young people who see off the guests, but the guests who see off the young people.

    Wedding procession

    The once popular tradition of decorating the main car of a wedding cortege with a bride doll has also died down. But a modern wedding is rarely complete without a luxurious limousine. True, in pursuit of overseas chic, Russian newlyweds often forget that this iron horse is not very suitable for maneuvering on crowded streets.

    An equally impressive, but more convenient option for a wedding car is a retro beetle. And newlyweds who want to turn their wedding into a real fairy tale, they often rent a horse-drawn carriage. After all, when else can you allow yourself to make your dream come true if not on your wedding day?

    Departure from ancient traditions and the emergence of new ones is a natural process that should not be frightened. After all, a modern wedding is not only a birthday new family, but also the opportunity for self-expression.

    What is a modern wedding like? If previously all weddings were similar to each other, now almost every celebration is a surprise for the guests. And sometimes (if the wedding is turnkey) - for the newlyweds. What are newlyweds giving up now and what innovations are attracting them? Why are old traditions becoming obsolete? Time is running. Life is changing, people are becoming more and more active in it Newest technologies, and the young people themselves increasingly want something new and unusual. Nowadays there are many companies engaged in organizing weddings. To be competitive, they constantly attract creative and talented photographers, cameramen, presenters for cooperation... This is how new ideas are born, and therefore new celebration traditions.

    What new traditions are replacing the old ones?
    • Bride and groom. New traditions.
    • Organizing a wedding in a new way. Unusual places and themes.
    • Innovations for guests and parents.

    It’s no secret that for today’s youth, the traditions of parents’ weddings are simply boring. I want something original, and the organizers are ready to provide it. What new wedding traditions exist today? The tradition of celebrating a bachelor and bachelorette party before a wedding as the end of a bachelor’s and girl’s life came to us from Western countries and has taken root well. They are celebrated cheerfully, with competitions and entertainment. The bride usually makes small veils from colored tulle for herself and her friends.

    Now more and more newlyweds are abandoning the traditional ransom, replacing it with a quest for the groom. Many motivate this by the fact that bride price is similar to buying and selling, and the quest is similar to the trials that a knight goes through in order to win the heart of a beautiful lady. The bride often waits for the groom to arrive not at home, but in a hotel room. As a rule, the girl’s preparations are filmed there.

    In addition, now the bride and groom rarely just sit at the table, kissing while shouting “Bitter!” They dance, sing, perform professionally wedding anthem, reading wedding vows...

    Another innovation that is borrowed from Western traditions is the early departure of newlyweds from the wedding. This is like the final chord of the celebration. The newlyweds leave the holiday by car to the applause of the guests. Particularly romantic people can replace a car with a horse-drawn carriage or a motorcycle. The holiday can be completed in another way, but also brightly: with fireworks, a fire show, launching balloons, sky lanterns or a flash mob for guests.

    Previously, the scenario of any wedding was standard: bride price, celebration with the host in a restaurant, second day. A modern celebration is almost always a surprise. If desired, the newlyweds can turn the celebration into a real magical event by choosing a theme to their liking. Preparations for the wedding can be entrusted to the wedding registrar.

    A themed modern wedding is a real masquerade, sometimes with theatrical performances and the active participation of guests in everything that happens.

    But you can turn a classic wedding into something completely special by choosing an unusual place for the celebration. New traditions at a wedding are the ceremonial painting and pronouncing of vows not within the walls of the registry office, but in other places. Romantics choose places to register in parks, gardens, nature or ancient castles. You can surprise your guests by inviting everyone on a boat or taking a ride on hot-air balloon. You can arrange a collective horse or bicycle ride with a picnic, a sports wedding with fun games, you can have fun at the trampoline park or on the beach. In general, there is a sea of ideas.

    What did wedding preparations look like before? Parents got together, weighed their financial capabilities... Modern traditions At a wedding, it is the future spouses who are required to take on the role of organizers.

    Whom to call is also often decided by young people today. If previously most of those present at the celebration were distant relatives, friends and colleagues of the parents, now they are close relatives and friends of the bride and groom, which is much more convenient. A small wedding is easier to organize and pay for. In addition, if most of the guests already know each other, it is easier for them to communicate.

    The role of guests has also changed. If earlier they often had to sit at the table with refreshments and make toasts, having fun only by dancing and participating in competitions, now they are the most active participants in the celebration. Guests at a modern wedding take part in photo sessions, make a whole performance out of presenting a gift, sing and dance, have fun with photo and video booths...

    Wedding is an important event, and the newlyweds must make their most cherished dreams come true on this day. So, in fact, it does not matter whether it is a celebration according to the old model or something completely new. The main thing is that this day should be remembered for its happy moments.
