We would like to show you a master class of a very simple and beautiful fish that can be made from colored paper. The fish turns out voluminous.

How to make a paper fish

The fish can be of completely different sizes, but they are all made from a rectangle in which one side is twice as long as the other. How to implement this in practice? Very simple. First cut out a square. We bend it in half so that we get 2 rectangles. Cut along the fold line.

Each rectangle will make 1 fish (that is, the square is enough for 2 fish). Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise long side. We cut on one side along the bias, on the other we get roundness.

Let's expand. We make cuts for weaving the ponytail.

We place the strips on top of each other one by one and glue them at the intersection point.

    The fish is almost ready.

We draw the eyes of the fish and decorate it at our discretion. Now you can stick these fish on a sheet of blue paper, glue paper algae and we will have a very beautiful aquarium. What if the whole class or group gets together? kindergarten, and make a lot of these fish, it will be an excellent and impressive group craft!

In this article we have collected the simplest origami fish models. Of course, only the first fish based on a triangle is suitable for four-year-old children. The remaining options are for children from five years old. But you can try making them with little ones too if you are teaching them the art of folding. And, of course, with your active help, children even four years old will be able to cope with any models. At first glance, the last two models look very simple. But make no mistake! The simplicity of operations is deceptive. After all, it is not at all obvious at what angle you need to bend the paper. And although this angle is quite flexible, it is not at all arbitrary. Finished fish can be placed in an “aquarium”. For example, stick a picture of the seabed on a poster. Or make a three-dimensional aquarium out of paper.

Now let's bend the top side along the already marked line and turn the figure over.

This is what the figurine looks like so far: reverse side.

Bend the top corner down. The line should be lower than the previously bent corner on the back of the figure.

Fold the sides of the figure towards the center.

    Let's make two small cuts.

Bend back the triangles from the cuts.

The fish is ready. All that remains is to draw the eyes.

Let's look at an example of a very simple paper craft. Such crafts are of greatest interest to parents who have children preschool age. It will be easy for a child to make such a fish out of paper, but in the process of creating it for small child There is one difficult, but very instructive moment. It is as follows: when we make all the necessary bends of the paper square, we must turn it out so that we get a triangle. This is not very easy for a small child, so he needs to repeat this point several times to reinforce it.

It is important to note that many paper crafts are based on this folding of paper. Further, there is nothing complicated in creating this fish, and it is with this that we advise you to start teaching your child simple models - after all, the fish will turn out almost immediately as soon as he completes this exercise.

After the child learns how to create such fish, be prepared that you will have a whole lake on the floor, teeming with fish of different colors and sizes, and while the child is fishing with a toy fishing rod, you can take a real feeder and go fishing.

We are forced to note that, unfortunately, there are very few such simple models on the Internet, and adults often teach the child right away complex crafts, and sometimes they can be really difficult for a small child. In the near future, we will try to publish a whole series of crafts aimed specifically at preschool children - experts highly recommend such exercises for developing logic in children.

An interesting craft that middle-aged children can make is an origami paper fish. Thanks to the upper part cut into strips, the fish can wriggle in all directions, like a living one.

    Materials for work:

    • Colored paper of any shades;
    • A little white paper for the eyes;
    • Scissors, glue, black felt-tip pen, pencil.

How to make an origami fish out of paper

To work you will need a sheet of paper square shape. To do this, fold a standard A4 sheet from the short side to the long side. Cut off the remaining unused strip.

Unfold the paper, which is now in a square shape. But a fish from a square of this size will turn out to be quite large; if you need a smaller one, you can use a ruler or a triangle.

Fold the sides along the fold line so that the top corners of the paper meet on it. Press the side folds well.

Open the paper and fold it in half, but this time corner to corner. The result is a triangle with folds clearly visible on it, which will be a kind of indicator of where and how many cuts need to be made.

Without changing the position of the paper, cut it from the folded side into small strips. But you need to cut to the fold line and to the very corner. This way you will have cuts on two pieces of paper at once.

Open the paper and overlap the outer, uncut triangles of the sides.

You will get a complete tummy and a cut back.

Cut off the resulting sharp tip, making the fish's face flatter, which it is, at least on most fish.

Cut out circles for the eyes from white paper. They can be quite bug-eyed. Cut out fins and a tail from colored paper. It is better to make these details of the fish in a different color for brightness, but they may well be the same as the whole craft.

Use a black felt-tip pen to draw pupils on the eyes, stripes on the fins and tail.

Glue all the parts, add eyelashes to the fish. But the work is not finished yet; there is a missing detail on the lower part of the fish’s head.

To do this, cut out a slightly elongated semi-oval.

You can put a fish on a piece of paper and draw a semicircle of the required length and width with a pencil, guided by the size of the fish. If necessary, cut off any exposed corners.

Glue the part, the jaw, probably, to the bottom of the head, you will get an open mouth for the fish.

That's it, the paper origami fish is ready. Interesting craft and a fun, moving toy for children. After all, something made with your own hands is often much more interesting than something purchased.
