• How to sew voluminous bumpers into a crib. Step-by-step creation of pillow sides. We sew bumpers for a baby crib with our own hands - additional points

    18.07.2019

Main fabric, inner filling, Velcro fasteners. First, let's decide on the main fabric. An excellent option would be natural, but quite dense fabric. Cotton works best.

Natural cotton has the property of excellent air permeability, it is a “breathable” fabric. Can be used calico, chintz or flannel. These fabrics meet all our requirements: natural (and therefore environmentally friendly), (cannot harm the health of the baby), suitable for frequent use, and do not fade.

Currently available in stores widest range of fabrics of various colors, including those with a pleasing children's theme.

Choosing a color think about it in advance, I would like the sides to be the same color as bed linen or they may differ.

In order for our sides to be dense and “keep their shape”, we will compact them soft filler.

The filler is extremely important from a functionality point of view. It is through this that it is achieved the protection we need for our baby from impacts o hard wooden bed slats. Excellent for compaction padding polyester, foam rubber and holofiber.

    Fabric calculation

To calculate the amount of material we need, we will do measurements of the crib itself. Having measured all 4 sides, multiply this figure by the height of the sides. The best way would be to make them tall 30 centimeters.

This is exactly the height that most of the sides sold in the store have. Lower height will not ensure the performance of basic functions, but big– will not allow sunlight, which is so necessary for the development of the baby, to penetrate into the crib.

    Let's start cutting

Having chosen the fabric and calculated the cut size, we begin cutting.

You can make sides from one single piece, but you can make them prefabricated, with Velcro. The second option will be more practical during use.

If necessary, you can install only 2 or 3 parts in the crib, leaving, for example, one wall for better review baby. Mom can place a crib with sides without one wall next to her sleeping place. This will make it easier for her to control the baby.

Besides one-piece side It is inconvenient to stuff with padding polyester or foam rubber, and it is also difficult to remove often for washing.

We will make our sides from two parts. Draw a rectangle on the fabric. Considering what I have length 120 cm and width 60 cm, and we have planned the bumper from two separate parts, we need to draw rectangle size 180cm*60cm.

By height we will get a fold line. We will need 2 of these parts. When cutting out the filler, we draw rectangle size 180cm*30cm. You will also need 2 of them. We will fasten both parts of the sides together using Velcro.

For decoration You can sew in ruffles and frills. They can be made from our main fabric or from another, contrasting color. For the same purposes, you can use various tapes.

    With removable cover

Everything that the baby comes into contact with should always be contained in spotless cleanliness.

Therefore, frequent washing cannot be avoided. However, frequent washing will not benefit the filler of our sides. So, it’s worth taking a look at tailoring sides with removable cover.

Their manufacturing scheme is similar to that of “non-removable” bumpers. The only fundamental difference is that in addition to the main fabric we You will need fabric to sew the inner cover and zipper.

Cutting on the main fabric 2 rectangles 180 cm*60 cm, the same 2 rectangles for the inner cover And 2 rectangles 180cm*30cm made of foam rubber, we receive all the necessary details. All that remains is to carefully insert the filling into the inner case, sew zippers into the outer case and sew on the Velcro.

    Quick navigation through the article

To update the interior of a children's room and make the baby's crib more comfortable, just decorate it with a couple of decorative pillows. We offer creative mothers to sew them with their own hands, because it is done quickly, simply and on a budget. The main thing here is to come up with interesting design and choose the right materials.

In this article, we have collected 30 inspiring photo examples of children's pillows for beginners and experienced craftswomen, and also prepared 3 step-by-step master class for DIY sewing:

    1. Toy pillows in the shape of a cloud.
    2. Letter pillows.
    3. Patchwork style pillows.
    • Combine different pillows with each other to make the interior more fun. The composition can be united by the shape, color or print of the products. When selecting fabrics, it is easiest to focus on the colors and patterns of the wallpaper, as well as the rest of the textiles in the children's room. For example, pillows can match curtains, sofa upholstery and, of course, a blanket.
    • When coming up with the style and decor of a future product, take into account the style of the interior. If, say, you can sew bright toy pillows for a modern interior, then products of calm colors and traditional styles in the form of bolsters and pillows with ruffles or tassels, as in the photo below, are more suitable.

    • To sew children's pillows, it is advisable to use natural and dense fabrics (linen, cotton), which are much easier to wash, say, felt, and look much more beautiful than synthetics like fleece.
    • Before sewing, you should wash and iron the fabric, then you will sew taking into account the shrinkage of the material.
    • It is clear that children's pillows should be washed often, but how to wash decorative pillows that do not have pillowcases and must always retain their shape? We recommend using the following as a filler for children's scops owl toys and soft bumpers:
    1. Sintepukh (not to be confused with padding polyester);
    2. Holofiber.

These materials are hypoallergenic, hold their shape well after washing, and can be washed in washing machine at low temperatures even with spinning. Unfortunately, synthetic winterizer, natural fluff, buckwheat, batting, foam rubber and other fillers do not have such properties.

    • If you want to make both a decorative and sleeping pillow, for example, a bolster or a side for a crib, then it is recommended to sew not just a pillow, but a bedspread with a pillowcase. After all, removable pillowcases are much easier to wash, and besides, by sewing one pillowcase and a pair of matching pillowcases, you can update the interior according to your mood.

Master class No. 1: Sweater cloud pillow

As you know, the world of children's interiors has its own trends, and cloud-shaped pillows are at the peak of popularity. They are good because they are easy to sew, look cute and are suitable for decorating the room of both a boy and a girl. In this master class we will tell you how to sew a soft cloud with your own hands from any sweater in a pleasant color.

    Materials:

    1. Sweater (preferably made of polyester, not acrylic. By the way, instead of a sweater, you can take an old cotton sweatshirt, T-shirt, etc.);
    2. Synthetic fluff;
    3. Sewing supplies;
    4. Sewing machine (if you have one);
    5. Paper for making patterns.

Step 1. Draw a pattern on paper in the form of a cloud or any other shape that you like.

Step 2. Turn the sweater inside out (!) and attach the resulting template to it (including the back layer of fabric) using pins as shown in the photo. Then we outline the outline of the cloud and begin to cut out the blanks with an indentation of approximately 0.7 mm (for allowances).

Step. 3. Now we begin to sew the two parts of the pillow along the previously drawn outline, but be sure to leave about 10 cm unsewn.

Step 4. We make cuts in the places where the cloud is rounded and in the corners - this will make the shape of the pillow neater and more correct.

Step 5. Turn the pillow inside out and stuff it tightly with filling, using a Chinese stick, for example. Finally, close the opening with a blind stitch.

Woo-ala! The baby pillow is ready!

Based on this master class, you will be able to sew pillows of the most different forms and colors. For example, a cloud can have arms and legs, beady eyes and rosy cheeks made of felt.

Instead of a cloud, you can sew a star, a raindrop, a moon, a heart or a candy. See the following selection of photos for examples of such pillows.

Master class No. 2: Letter pillow

And now we propose to sew another simple but original letter pillow, which will help to personalize a nursery or a bed, if, for example, there are more children.

    Materials:

    1. Textile;
    2. Synthetic fluff;
    3. Sewing supplies;
    4. Sewing machine.

By combining 3 types of fabric, you can use leftovers and make your pillow design more fun.

Step 1. Select a letter, draw it (or print it in A4 format) and cut it out along the contour.

Step 2. Now we need to cut out two parts of the pillow - the front and the back.

    • To cut out the front part of the pillow you need to: place our template on the fabric lying face up, also face up, trace it and then cut out the blank.
    • To cut out the back side of the letter you need to do everything the same way, but first turn the template “wrong side” up, that is, according to the principle of mirror reflection.

Step 3. Now you should prepare the side of the pillow.

    • Its length should be equal to the perimeter of the letter + 2 cm for allowances. You determine the width of the sidewall yourself, for example, it can be 4 cm, then taking into account the 2 cm seam allowance, the width of the workpiece will be 6 cm.

But since you most likely won't be able to cut a single strip of fabric, you will need to cut several strips of the same width and stitch them together so that you end up with one strip of the desired length.

Step 4. Sew the side panel to the first letter. To do this, we fold them facing each other and begin to grind along the entire perimeter of the workpiece.

    • For convenience, the side strip can be attached with pins.

We repeat the same procedure with the second half of the pillow, but leave a small section unfinished.

When a baby comes into the family, parents buy a lot of things they have never heard of before. Crib bumpers are one of those things. What are they needed for? What kind of sides are there? Is it possible to sew the sides of a newborn crib with your own hands? How to choose the material and decide on the size?

Why do you need bumpers in a newborn crib?

A baby bed is most often made of wood, durable plastic or metal. These are hard materials that can easily hit a child and cause injury. Since small children are very mobile, and coordination and orientation in space have not yet been fully mastered, the risk of injury when hitting the bed bars is quite high. To avoid this trouble, bumpers are needed.

The sides are a kind of soft pads that are attached to the sides and head of the crib, protecting the child from impact. In addition to its main purpose, this useful accessory performs a number of other functions:

    • They protect the baby from bright sunlight and drafts that can enter the bed through the bars.
    • They create a cozy atmosphere in the crib so that the child feels more comfortable. It has been proven that babies are calmer in confined spaces and are afraid of large open spaces. This is associated with the memory of intrauterine life.
    • Entertain the child. Bright drawings develop the baby's vision and occupy his leisure time.
    • Development. Often the sides are equipped with various tweeters, “rustles,” and elements with different textures. This makes it possible to turn the accessory into a full-fledged educational toy.

    Types of bumpers for cribs

Today, manufacturers and hand-made craftsmen offer many types of bumpers for cribs:

    • The classic version of 4 parts (two pieces for the sides, one for the headboard and one for the legs).
    • A solid side that runs along the entire perimeter of the bed and has only one joint. Similar options can be found in Ikea stores.
    • Sides in the form of pillows that are attached to the crib with ties. Pillows can be made in the form of separate elements or sewn together.

Each version of the sides can be made in various variations using various equipment sewing, patterns, fastening methods, shapes and sizes.

Up to what age do you need bumpers in a crib?

You can use this useful accessory from birth until the moment your baby starts trying to get out of bed. If the mother notices that the baby has begun to climb, trying to get out of the crib, then the sides must be removed immediately! This is necessary so that the child does not use them as a device to get out.

The child may still sleep restlessly and hit the bars, but a small bruise is better than falling from a decent height when climbing over the side of the bed

The parents themselves must determine the age of the baby when bumpers in the crib are no longer needed, depending on the child’s development and his abilities.

How to sew bumpers for a crib

Buying beautiful bumpers for a crib in a store today is not a problem. There are options for every taste and budget. Many parents prefer to buy sets of canopy borders and bed linen, made in the same style and color scheme. If you are not satisfied with standard sides, you can make them to order from hand-made craftsmen. Handmade always looks more refined and original. But such pleasure will be expensive. Much more interesting and safer for family budget try sewing bumpers yourself. Moreover, it is not at all difficult if you have necessary tools (sewing machine), a little skill and patience.

    Preparation

First you need to choose a fabric.

Since the accessory will come into contact with the baby’s skin, the fabrics should be of the highest quality, dense and natural:

    • Calico.
    • Satin.
    • Flannel.

The fabric should have a pleasant, calm shade and a large pattern so that the child can look at it. When purchasing fabric, you need to think not only about the main fabric, but also about the lining. This is necessary to sew the sides with removable top covers, which can be removed and washed at any time without having to wash the entire product.

Tip: Before you start sewing, you need to wash the fabrics. Natural fiber always shrinks when washed. And the quantity of material must be purchased taking into account shrinkage.

In addition to fabric, you need to take care of soft filler for the sides. The filler can be padding polyester, padding polyester, thin foam rubber.

It is best to choose synthetic roll fill that can be washed without compromising its quality

And also for needlework you will need:

    • Sewing machine. Diligent needlewomen can sew the borders by hand, this is possible if you have hand sewing skills.
    • Scissors.
    • Needle.
    • Centimeter or long ruler.
    • Tailor pins.
    • Chalk, soap, pencil or marker for cutting.
    • Paper for making patterns. If you have good sewing experience, you can cut directly on the fabric.
    • Threads in the color of the main fabric.
    • Zippers (40 cm long) or buttons. They are needed for removable covers that can be washed. If the sides are sewn without covers, then fasteners are not needed.
    • Braid, ribbons for ties. The ties can be sewn from the main fabric.
    • Depending on the model and imagination, you may need various other decorative elements(various buttons, lace, felt appliques, etc.).

How to decide on the size and style of bumpers

In most cases, the sizes of cribs are standard: width - 60 cm, height - 55 cm, length - 120 cm. To sew the sides for a standard bed, you will need approximately 3.6 meters of fabric. If the sides are sewn with covers, then the same amount of lining fabric is needed. If you have doubts about your abilities, it is better to buy a larger piece so that you have the opportunity to correct mistakes. And also excess fabric can be useful for finishing, for example, decorative frills.

Tip: When making sides self made It’s better to immediately take care of buying suitable fabric for bedding for the crib. Such a beautiful set will look more harmonious and neat. There will be no shame in giving this set as a gift for the birth of a baby.

Dimensions of standard classic 4-piece sides:

    • 2 parts 30 cm high and 60 cm wide.
    • 2 parts 30 cm high and 120 cm wide.

For beginning craftswomen, it is best to focus on this option, since it is the easiest to perform and sewing will not take much time.

If the crib has non-standard sizes and shape, you will have to take measurements first. For example, a round crib will need two sets of sides, since over time it will transform into an oval one.

For this type of bed, it is best to choose pillow-shaped bumpers

The pillow bumpers look beautiful, and you can immediately sew the number of pillows that you need for an oval crib, and add or add them as the baby grows and the bed transforms; this is much easier than sewing two separate sets of classic bumpers.

It is better to sew pillows with removable covers, and the size and shape can be chosen arbitrarily, based on the size of the crib and the desire of the needlewoman. For example, bumpers in the form of pillow houses are very popular.

With such pillows you can decorate not only the crib, but also other furniture in the child’s room, for example, a sofa or chair; this will make the nursery interior more harmonious

The situation is similar with bassinets for babies. The cradle is not always sold complete with bedding. And finding a suitable set of sides is generally an almost impossible task.

A good way to decorate a cradle beautifully is to try and sew the bed linen and bumpers yourself or buy them to order. The sizes of the accessories, of course, will be non-standard, but the issue can be easily resolved by careful measurements and the construction of a simple pattern

    Patterns for sides

If mom decided to make the sides in the form of pillows, then a pattern is not needed. Just cut out the squares the right size. For a standard rectangular crib you will need 12 pillows measuring 30x30 cm.

Houses can be sewn using this pattern. The size is chosen arbitrarily, based on the size and shape of the bed

For standard classic sides of 4 elements, the following patterns are suitable:

    Pattern of simple rectangular sides

Pattern of bumpers and bed linen for a crib

Note: Before sewing, it is better to carefully measure the crib and adjust the dimensions if necessary.

The process of sewing classic sides

    Cutting

You need to prepare the fabric and filler. Patterns must be made in advance. The patterns are carefully transferred to the fabric. Don't forget to leave 1-1.5 cm seam allowances. If bumpers are sewn with covers, then you need to cut two sets of fabric - for the covers and the lining.

Filling in the form of rolled padding polyester or foam rubber is cut out in the same way, but you need to reduce the size of the patterns by 1.5-2 cm depending on the thickness of the foam rubber so that the filler fits into the case. If the sides are sewn in the form of pillows, then the filling is simply stuffed, there is no need to cut anything out.

    Sewing sides

The lining fabric is folded right side inward and the cover is sewn around the perimeter. You need to leave a hole to place the filler inside. After this, the cover is turned inside out and foam rubber is inserted. The hole must be carefully sewn up. It is better to do this manually with a hidden seam. A similar procedure is done for each side (4 pieces in total).

    Sewing ties

Ties can be sewn in two ways - simple and with Velcro. Ready-made braid or ribbons can act as simple ties. They can also be sewn from fabric.

This is what a Velcro fastener looks like. This option is not so difficult to implement, but is much more convenient than conventional ties

The sizes and number of ties are chosen arbitrarily. Typically at least 20 fasteners are required. 4 for short sides at the head and near the legs, 6 for long sides for the sides of the bed. To better secure the bumpers, you can make more ties.

Beautiful ties are made from satin ribbons. The length of the fastening element is chosen independently, but it is better to make the ribbons longer. This makes the bow easier to tie and looks more beautiful.

Note: If you are sewing pillow sides, you need to make at least two fasteners for each.

    Sewing upper decorative covers

The upper covers, which can be removed and washed, are sewn around the perimeter, with the front side inward. You need to outline the location of the ties in advance and baste them in order to sew them into the main seams. Velcro fasteners also need to be sewn in advance, while the parts of the cover are not yet sewn together. The inner edges must be finished with an overlocker or overcast by hand. You need to leave a hole (about 40 cm) for the fastener. The fastener can be made in the form of a zipper or regular buttons. Then you need to turn out the covers and make a fastener. Ready!

    Decorating the sides

You can decorate the sides different ways: decorate with ribbons, bows, large bright buttons, appliqués, rhinestones, frills, etc. If the edges around the perimeter are decorated with frills or lace, then you need to baste them in advance and sew them into the main seams at the fourth stage to make the product look neater. Depending on the design, lace and frills can also be sewn on top of the front side of the cover.

Beautiful bumpers for girls, decorated with soft rose pillows

Sewing bumpers for a newborn’s crib will not take much time, and the result will exceed expectations, because the item will turn out to be exclusive and of high quality.

    Reading time: 4 minutes

Waiting for a baby is a delicate, trembling, exciting matter. Parents, in search of the “best,” visit a lot of children’s stores, study a huge amount of literature about babies, and arrange the room. By the time the baby arrives, mommies and daddies prepare in advance. They buy everything: diapers, baby vests, pacifiers, nappies. But the children's room, or more precisely, the baby's crib, deserves more careful attention from future parents. Here attention is paid to everything: beauty, convenience, safety. To create an increased comfort zone, Special attention Borders are attached to the crib for newborns.

    Security territory

A crib...and a lot of questions. What material should it be made of, which size is most optimal for the baby, where should it be placed and how to decorate it?

All this is important, but the main thing that needs to be realized is the issue of the baby’s safety. It is the sleeping place that must be protected from otherworldly eyes guests, from beloved pets, from childhood hyperactivity, when the baby suddenly decides to crawl through holes. Everything needs to be provided for.

    Bumper for baby bed

The solution has been found. These are the ones that simultaneously perform two functions – protective and decorative. 90% of parents use it to frame their bedroom children's place sides (bumpers) and express the most flattering compliments in their direction. The only drawback of this device is the price range, which cannot be described as optimal. The fabric is natural, the colors are child-friendly, the model is modern, which means the price is high, and this is not affordable for everyone.

But today is the day this issue can be easily resolved using your own strength, creativity and creative thinking. You can make your own protective bumpers for a crib, focusing on the design of the room, taking into account the size of the bed and based on individual preferences.

To sew protective bumpers, pediatricians recommend using only those that have passed dermatological tests and have a quality certificate. Natural, hypoallergenic fabrics include cotton, chintz, calico,. When choosing fabric for sewing “protection”, you should not lose sight of this.

“Protection” made of chintz and foam rubber

    Materials and tools:

    • Main fabric – (flannel can be used. The main thing is the density and naturalness of the fabric). Fabric length – 5-5.5 meters (the amount of fabric is indicated taking into account the width of 1 m 10 cm)
    • Filler – foam rubber. Its length is 2 meters (it will be enough if the width of the filler is 1m 50cm). To make the product look aesthetically pleasing, you need to choose foam rubber 1 cm thick.

    On a note

Before sewing, textiles must be washed to take into account the degree of shrinkage of the material.

    Step-by-step instruction

    • Taking measurements. It is necessary to measure the baby's crib in both length and width. It is these values that will determine when cutting the fabric. It is important that the measurement accuracy is high.
    • Cutting fabric. Oddly enough, when sewing “protection” you can do without a special pattern. It is enough to apply measurements to the textile fabric using a pencil. If you have cutting skills, you can draw a pattern on paper and then transfer it to fabric. It will be more professional this way.
    • Cutting out structural elements.
    • Stitching the edges. All edges of the cut out elements, except one, should be stitched. The unsewn edge is necessary in order to fill the side with foam rubber. You can sew in a frill if desired. Typically, the basis for a frill is a ribbon in the color of the main textile or its main colorful elements. The main fabric can also be used for the frill.
    • Marking and cutting out foam rubber. Using a felt-tip pen or marker, you need to mark the filler and cut it out. It is important that its size is half a centimeter smaller than the main fabric on each side.
    • Filling the case with foam rubber. This stage will be successful if you first cut the filler in half vertically and carefully distribute it along the entire length of the side.
    • Sewing the last hole. The process can be performed either by machine or by hand.
    • Attaching fastener tapes (ties). It is better to sew on ribbon ties at the moment when it is possible to accurately and clearly determine their place (it is advisable to have a bed at hand). If this is not possible, then it would be more correct to sew ribbons in the middle of the sides and along their edges.

Sides based on calico and padding polyester

The proposed tailoring option is created taking into account standard sizes beds for babies (length - 1m 20 cm, width - 60 cm). The resulting side has dimensions: height – 30 cm, at the place of the baby’s head – 45 cm.

    What is necessary?

    Creating structural elements:
    • You should cut out two sheets of colored calico. The size of the resulting pattern must correspond to the following values:
    • The length of the first canvas (element A) is 1 m 80, width is 30 cm. Quantity is 2 pieces.
    • Length of the second cut (element B) - 1m 40 cm, width - 30 cm. Quantity - 2 pieces.

Total: 4 pieces of colored calico.

    • Preparing a semicircle 60 cm long (element C), where the extreme points in height reach a value of 30 cm, and the average value (in the middle) is 45 cm.
    • Cutting a strip of fabric 7 cm wide (this size is quite enough to create a ruffle). The length of the frill is determined according to individual preferences.

    Manufacturing stages:

    • The resulting fabric strip must be fixed (stitched) along its entire length. This is done from the cut side. The front edge is folded up and folds are formed.
    • The cut out elements A and B are sewn to element C on both sides (one element on each side).
    • The canvases are folded right side out.
    • The ruffle is placed inside the fabrics and sewn on.
    • Creation of Velcro. It is necessary to prepare 16 ribbons: 8 of them are 6 cm by 10 cm in size, and 8 are 6 cm by 20 cm, allowing for seam allowance). Next, the cut strips are folded in half in length and then stitched. Velcro, 2 cm long and 3 cm wide, is sewn to the resulting ribbons.
    • Velcro is fixed on calico fabrics. The soft and hard parts of the adhesive tape are located on different sheets.
    • Fastener tapes are sewn from the outer part of the fabric so that the long ones are located in the place where the side is directly attached, and the shorter ones are located right in the middle).
    • At the final stage, it is necessary to unscrew element B left side and stitch the side and bottom sides.
    • In element C, you should turn up the edge on the side and create loops in order to sew buttons on the other side.

To prevent the protective sides from “bulging” and gathering at the bottom, you should sew additional tapes and throw them over the top side of the baby’s crib.

The process of making a protective bumper for a baby's crib is simple, but painstaking and responsible. As they say, “what you won’t do for the sake of your beloved and long-awaited child.” The important thing is that it will be reliable, safe and loving.

Advice: orthic pillows for the crib are necessary accessory for children under 1.5 years old, you should not neglect them if the child’s health and sound sleep come first.

    Advantages of soft sides:

    • The pillow sides in the crib can be soft or denser, depending on the filling, but in any case they should reliably protect the newborn from the following unfavorable factors:
    • Impacts on the hard wooden edges of the crib. This is especially true for active babies, who, even while lying down, are able to move quite energetically and can easily hit their heads or arms on the headboards of the bed. With soft curbs, bruises are not a problem.
    • The bumpers in the crib for newborns reliably protect the baby's legs and arms from getting stuck between the fencing bars. Soft pillows around the perimeter of the cradle will prevent the child from injuring himself in this way and getting scared, trying to free himself.
    • The baby is not afraid of drafts if the crib is surrounded by soft sides. This is especially important if the sleeping place is located close to or there are cracks in the walls through which air easily penetrates. In addition, you can safely ventilate, even if the child has already fallen asleep in the crib.
    • Thick pillow sides protect the newborn well from bright light. This is important if during nap It’s very sunny in the nursery, or the sleeping place is located in one.
    • Less dust gets into the crib with sides, most of which settles on the outside of the pillows.

Tip: soft sides will soften the fall of a child who is just learning to stand up, clinging to the edges of the crib if he suddenly loses his balance.

Thus, the crib, complemented by a protective soft fence, turns into a reliable, cozy, safe “shelter” in which the baby will feel as comfortable as possible.

In addition, you can buy sides with pockets in which you can easily store things necessary for the baby (diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, etc.), in general, everything that may not fit in. Such pockets should be located on the outside so as not to cause discomfort to the newborn, because the child can easily get caught on the protrusion and tear it off, using it as a support.

    Types of sides

On sale you can find bumpers for newborn cribs, the price and photos of which vary greatly. If everything is individual with the visual side, then the cost will depend on the quality of the product, its shape and the materials used.
