Most beloved women's clothing is a cardigan with wonderful properties transform the female image. Fashionable things are made from the most different materials– viscose, knitwear, acrylic, cotton. A mohair cardigan is especially appreciated, as it is lightweight, ergonomic and attractive. appearance. This product brings softness, femininity, elegance to the image and can radically change the appearance.

The jacket, made of Angora goat wool, is pleasant to the touch, warm, durable and remains in excellent condition for a long time. At proper care the product does not lose its novelty, attractiveness and does not deform after washing. A distinctive feature of products made from lightweight wool is weightlessness and provides reliable protection from the cold. A lightweight cardigan made of thin mohair is almost imperceptible, but at the same time it adequately performs its functions. It's never cold or uncomfortable in these clothes, because natural fabric provides optimal temperature conditions and good air exchange.

Mohair has excellent properties, so clothes, toys, and accessories are made from yarn. Special attention I'm attracted to the knitted mohair cardigan, which has good quality and authentic quality. To make a sample, knitting needles, hooks and yarn of different compositions are used. It can be a thin thread based on mohair, cotton and acrylic or a dense fabric including angora, wool and polyacrylic.

Depending on the purpose and style, the product is knitted from above in a circle or from below, each piece separately. Stocking is used garter stitch, elastic band or openwork patterns. Samples made from fine yarn are designed for the warm season and show a variety of openwork patterns - pine cones, leaves, flowers. In winter, they wear thick products with braids and plaits made with English or Polish elastic.

    Models

A variety of shapes and colors allows you to choose the best model that will perfectly fit into a woman’s image. If you prefer sport style, you can use a short jacket with a hood and small pockets. Lovers of classics wear with pleasure, distinguished by their exquisite cut and discreet decoration. For street style You can use women's mohair cardigans of any length. These can be thin or voluminous samples, with a round or V-shaped neckline, with or without sleeves, with buttons or a zipper. For every taste and fashion preference you can choose stylish thing, which will emphasize individuality and feminine beauty.

    Types of mohair cardigans:

    • With shawl collar and Aran braids.
    • Long, warm item with buttons.
    • The sample is short with braids and plaits.
    • Product with relief configuration.

Each model is unique and inimitable, adding a special twist to a woman’s image and style. When choosing a shape and color, it is important to take into account not only taste and fashion preferences, but also the features of the figure and the color type of appearance.

    Material advantages

Angora goat yarn makes it possible to produce high-quality and exquisite items. Mohair fabric is very light, elastic and warm, has insulating properties and absorbs moisture well. As a result, fashionable mohair cardigans with high performance are born. These are durable and elegant designs that are widely used. Refined and stylish jackets can be worn to a festive event, business meeting, office work or a walk. In such clothes it is always warm, comfortable and very convenient.

    Length

Fashion designers annually present hundreds of innovative models of different cuts and decoration methods to the public. We offer short, long and cropped products up to mid-thigh. It is the length that influences the style and shaping female image. Young people choose short samples with delicate openwork patterns or models up to the middle of the knee.

Older women prefer a long cardigan made of mohair, which visually corrects the figure, giving the image nobility and the silhouette elegance. Thanks to the loose cut, it is possible to hide excess volume of the hips and abdomen and emphasize best sides appearance. At the same time, long samples are great for thin girls, as they add roundness to the figure and femininity to the appearance.

    Colors

The variety of colors allows you to choose a chic model that will not only decorate, but also emphasize the individuality of a woman’s image. Brunettes prefer things in neutral or cool tones - white, black, blue, brown. Warm shades are suitable for brown-haired women - apricot, orange, peach, chocolate, red. For blondes, things of completely different tones are acceptable - blue, coral, marsh, cream.

Particularly popular is the multi-color Lalo style pattern. This trendy item was created by the Georgian Dolidze sisters using thick yarn and a special knitting method. Thanks to smooth color transitions and the presence of wide braids, the product looks authentic and bright, while adding elegance and expression to the image. Volumetric, slightly shapeless products with a color gradient look especially good on young girls.. Branded clothing can effectively transform the fair sex and add a special twist to their style.

    Fashionable looks

An elegant cardigan with a formal style or a festive asymmetrical pattern requires a special cut. A business look can be created with tight-fitting blouses, plain midi skirts, and straight-cut trousers. Suitable for a special occasion Evening Dress and an openwork weightless cardigan with a bow. A playful summer look can be created with denim breeches, miniskirts, shorts, combined with a T-shirt or top. Cotton sundresses combined with knitted T-shirts or T-shirts are suitable for studying. The best choice for urban “grunge” - exquisite dresses, sundresses, etc.

What to wear with a winter insulated jacket? You can use insulated, brushed trousers, straight or tapered, combined with knitted socks. Wool skirts or gabardine sundresses in combination with a thin blouse with a deep neckline or turtleneck are acceptable. Whatever image you choose, it is important to combine all the elements, taking into account the style direction and color. Then you will create a harmonious and attractive female ensemble that emphasizes the best aspects of your appearance.

    Shoes

Pairs with a fashionable cardigan different shoes. If you want to look taller, use stiletto heels or boots with a comfortable platform. For everyday wear, sandals, ballet flats, slip-ons, and moccasins are useful. In summer you can wear lace boots and elegant sandals with numerous decorative elements. In spring or fall, closed shoes with zippers or laces will come in handy.

Cardigan is interesting and fashion accessory in wardrobe modern woman. The variety of shapes and styles of the cardigan allows you to wear it with anything: with a skirt, dress, classic trousers And ripped jeans. Cardigans have been knitted by needlewomen for many years now, because they are in trend. Particularly interesting are the cardigan models, knitted from thick yarn or from thick braids - imitation of volumetric knitting: cardigans with Lalo knitting needles, cardigans with merino knitting needles, etc.

Knitting a cardigan using thick yarn is easier because the work moves quickly and requires much less time and patience. After all, not every craftswoman will find the strength to knit one thing for 2-3 months. So, if you are not ready to have a lot of patience, choose thicker yarn, larger knitting needles and interesting master– classes.

What color yarn is best for knitting a cardigan?

Of course, it is best to start from your color type, choose shades from fashionable colors which suit you best. And most importantly, make sure that the knitted cardigan fits well into your wardrobe.

Fashionable colors of 2017 are natural, soft shades. Among them are:

    • Rich green
    • Rose quartz
    • Rich electric blue
    • Blue cold, icy shade
    • Bright saffron
    • Taupe (iced coffee)
    • Gray with a hint of lilac
    • Yellow muted
interesting selection to the website 17 beautiful models

If your clothes are office wear, then feel free to choose shades of gray, cool blue or rose quartz. And if you wear more casual clothes, denim, then buy saffron or electric blue. Although gray also looks good with jeans.

The yarn consumption for knitting a cardigan is quite large: 1-1.5 kg. In this case, you can save money by purchasing yarn in packages in an online store, rather than individually at retail. It's even better to do this:

    • buy 1 skein from 2-3 yarn options
    • knit a pattern pattern for a cardigan
    • wash it and calculate the loops.

As a result, you will know the quality of the yarn: whether it sheds or not, whether the yarn shrinks, whether it holds the pattern you have chosen well. This careful preparation will save you from the disappointment of choosing the wrong yarn. Or, as an option, buy only the yarn recommended by the author of the model you have chosen. There is no point in experimenting in this matter.

We wish you good luck in the complex process of knitting a cardigan. We hope that the result will not disappoint you. To help you, we have selected more than 35 interesting models of knitted cardigans with descriptions and diagrams. If you want to show your finished cardigan, send your work to our editorial office. We will be happy to publish it.
