    On your page The manager welcomes you physical education

    Grishanova Olga Georgievna

    Currently great attention is devoted to the physical education of preschool children, the protection and strengthening of their health.

    All the work of physical education leaders and teachers in our preschool education institution is aimed at implementing the following tasks:
    - maintaining and strengthening the health of pupils;
    - improving their physical capabilities;
    - development of motor activity;
    - fostering a sense of mutual support, camaraderie, and a friendly attitude towards peers;
    - ensuring physical and mental well-being.

    To successfully implement the assigned tasks in kindergarten conditions have been created to ensure that children's needs for physical activity are met. There is a gym equipped in each age group There are health centers, and there is a physical training ground on the territory of the institution.

    The head of physical education is equipped with regulatory legal documentation, methodological recommendations, educational and methodological documents in the field of education and sports of the Republic of Belarus. Card indexes of outdoor sports equipment, morning exercises, outdoor games, and materials on teaching a healthy lifestyle have been compiled. Plans for interaction with specialists, notes for consultations, leisure activities, and physical education events have been developed. We are working with the families of the pupils.
    Teachers have data on the health status of pupils, their physical development, contraindications and doctor’s recommendations, which indicates the organization of physical education and health work taking into account the health status of pupils.

    Physical education planning is carried out in accordance with the program Preschool education. Teachers’ plans reflect work with students in various forms physical education and health work: morning exercises, physical education classes, outdoor games and physical exercises during walks, motor breaks, active recreation.

    It is impossible to imagine the life of a child in kindergarten without fun sports events, leisure activities, and competitions. Some develop intelligence, others develop ingenuity, and others develop imagination and creativity. But they are united by a common task - to educate the child’s need for movement and emotional perception of life, as well as to gain the opportunity to show greater activity, independence and initiative in actions.

    Our kindergarten has its own physical education traditions: one of them is the annual celebration of “Mom, Dad, Me” sport family!”, with the participation of pupils and their parents. This is a very bright and spectacular event. After all, parents and their children participate in all competitions. And also on July 1, International Children’s Day, the institution holds “Fun Starts!”

    Today we can say that we have developed a certain system in working with parents. The use of various forms of work gave certain results: parents from “spectators” and “observers” became active participants, an atmosphere of mutual respect was created.

    Physical activity and child health

    How often do we, adults, get irritated when children, as it seems to us, senselessly run around the apartment, rush around the yard, and we cannot take them home. This seems to us like playfulness, unwillingness to obey our demands. Is it so? A child’s playfulness should not be confused with the satisfaction of his biological need for movement, but such a need exists. Take a closer look at your child's behavior. If his movements are limited for 2-3 hours, then in the future he will try to “compensate” for this with increased mobility. During the day, the child makes many different movements. Their sum is called motor activity. The daily amount of physical activity must fully satisfy the body's biological need for movement. The task of parents is to create the necessary conditions for optimal motor activity of children.
    Why is it important? The fact is that lack of movement has a particularly negative impact on the growing body of the child, on the state of his cardiovascular and respiratory systems, on the development and functions of many organs. A sedentary lifestyle can even cause a disease that doctors call hypokinesia. With this disease, metabolism, the activity of the musculoskeletal system and the autonomic nervous system are disrupted, and physical performance is sharply reduced.
    Your child is five years old and starts school in a year. Classes at school, academic loads, and the need to sit at a desk for a long time can lead to a limitation of his physical activity. The question naturally arises - how to avoid hypokinesia, how to organize the physical education of a child in the family? Morning hours and minutes should be devoted to gymnastics. It’s not for nothing that these physical exercises are called energizing for the whole day. The exercises are simple and varied. It is recommended to change the set of exercises approximately every two weeks. Don't forget to open the window before starting the exercises. The child must exercise in a T-shirt and shorts. Clean, fresh air, movement, and after that washing - and lethargy, drowsiness, as if it had never happened.
    On weekends, during vacation, when the child stays with you, you need to find time to run with him, skate or ski if it is winter; in the summer, play ball, ride a bike, go to the forest, etc. This watch joint activities beneficial not only for the child’s health, but also for yours. Don't miss this opportunity!

    If the child does not attend kindergarten, more attention should be paid to physical education. The child should spend as much time as possible daily in the air, in movement. Everything that was said about daily morning exercises and outdoor games is an obligatory element of the daily regimen. The child should be able to jump and run. Such spontaneous activity compensates for the lack of movement and “satisfies” motor hunger. Don't interfere with this.
    It is not always possible to equip a home “stadium”, but a hoop, a jump rope, a ball, a gymnastic stick are available to everyone, just like sleds, skates, and skis. Buy them.
    In recent years, some parents have sought to involve their children early in regular sports such as figure skating, gymnastics, swimming. Is this useful? It is impossible to answer unequivocally. Regular training and associated physical activity, if necessary for a child preschool age beyond our strength, they will be harmful. From the age of seven, only some children who have undergone a thorough medical examination can begin such activities.
    Scientists have found that a child 5-7 years old should take 13-17 thousand steps and be in motion for 2.5-3.5 hours. This amount includes not only walking, but also running, jumping, and other types of movements.
    If your child attends kindergarten, then physical education classes are conducted according to a specific program, tailored to the age of the children. The program includes gradually increasing in volume and complexity exercises, outdoor games, etc. These activities are an integral part of the daily routine in kindergarten. But they are not enough.
    In the evening, when you pick up your child from kindergarten, find an opportunity to walk at least part of the road with him. A walk is your socializing time, and 20-30 minutes spent on it will return your vigor after a hard day, and “will not go to waste” either for your health or your mood. Involve children in work that is feasible for them. A child can help set the table, clear the table, wipe dust from low furniture, water flowers, etc. Even if he doesn’t do it very well at first, he will gradually learn to carry out all your instructions correctly. This is also useful for developing labor skills, and at the same time is a form of physical activity.
    Outdoor games, learning to skate and ski not only improve a child’s motor skills, develop agility, speed, strength and endurance, but also contribute to the development of such important character traits as perseverance in achieving goals and a sense of camaraderie. These qualities will be very useful in life.
    Scientists have established an unconditional connection between physical activity and the development of a child, the ability of his body to resist diseases. This is why active children get sick less often.

    Ten tips to improve children's physical health

    Tip 1. Try to actively participate in your child's health. Not only tell him what he needs to do in order not to get sick, but also show by personal example the health benefits of following the rules of personal hygiene, morning exercises, hardening, and proper nutrition.

    Tip 4. Help your child master health self-monitoring skills, especially when performing physical exercise. To do this, keep an observation diary and write down data about his physical condition: weight (body weight), height, heart rate, well-being (sleep, appetite, etc.).

    Tip 5. Teach your child to properly use natural healing factors - sun, air and water. Cultivate in your child the desire and habit of strengthening the body.

    Tip 6. Remember that life is in motion. Play sports with your child, take more walks, and play in the fresh air. Healthy image life, cultivated in the family, is the key to the child’s health.

    Tip 9. Introduce your child to the rules safe behavior in the house, on the street, on vacation and teach him to follow these rules in order to avoid life-threatening situations.
