It's rare to come across a woman who is completely satisfied with her appearance. Even those who have, in the opinion of others, the most beautiful face will always find something to complain about. Nowadays, many real or imagined flaws in appearance can be corrected with the help of makeup. And indeed, skillfully applied makeup can work real miracles - visually making the nose shorter, lips plumper, eyebrows more graceful, etc. Today we will talk about how to visually enlarge your eyes.
In fact, making your eyes appear larger and more expressive is not so difficult. To do this you need to know a few simple techniques and follow them if necessary.
Pay attention to your eyebrows
The fact that eyebrows should be neat, combed, without protruding hairs is not even discussed; this rule applies to absolutely all women. Those with small eyes, eyebrows, and especially their shape should pay maximum attention. Remember, the higher they are located, or create such an illusion, the more wide and open the eyes will look. To achieve this effect, the eyebrows must be corrected correctly - eliminate the maximum possible number of hairs in the lower part. But at the same time, it is very important not to overdo it and not make them look like strings, because everything is good in moderation. Ideally, the shape of the eyebrows should correspond to the shape of both the eyes and the face, while at the same time the eyebrows should remain thick enough without affecting the upper eyelid. we talked about it in one of our previous publications. Use concealers
Dark circles and other imperfections located in the eye area make the eyes appear smaller. Concealers will help correct this. Neutralizes well dark circles pink-orange corrector, of course you can also use products flesh colors, however, they will give a slightly worse result.
Combine shadows
Proper makeup for small eyes should be done with at least two shades of eyeshadow - light and dark. Light shades (white, beige, peach, etc.) must be applied to the entire eyelid, inner corners of the eyes and under the eyebrow. Pearlescent shadows do a good job of enlarging the eyes, but they are recommended for use only by women who do not have wrinkles.
Dark shadows can come in different shades. For daytime makeup, you should use more natural, moderately dark colors; when creating evening makeup, use those that you like best or that suit the overall look. Dark shadows should be applied at the outer corners, above the crease of the eye socket, on the lower eyelid, but not further than the level of the pupil, and the upper eyelid, also not further than the pupil. In this case, the moving eyelid may not be affected at all. The shadows must be well shaded in the direction of the temples. Ideally, the shaded area at the top should be visible with open eyes. 
Don't forget about the arrows
Arrows for small eyes can be drawn with either a pencil or eyeliner, but this must be done correctly. Their line should be as thin as possible and barely noticeable closer to the inside of the eye and thicken at the outside. Often, when applying makeup for small eyes, arrows are drawn only from the middle of the eyelid, approximately from the level of the iris, to the outer corner. Such a line must look neat and natural.
Highlight the “water line”
Eyeliners to enlarge the eyes can be not only black, but also white. They are applied to the inner, mucous area of the lower eyelid, which is often called the “water line”. IN in this case the white line seems to merge with the white of the eye and is visually perceived as its continuation. This makes the eye appear larger. In addition, this technique makes the eyes shiny and vibrant, and the face fresh.
Highlight the corners of your eyes at the bridge of your nose
Another wonderful effect that allows you to visually enlarge your eyes is highlighting the inner corner of the eye. Thanks to this technique, the eyes seem to move away from each other, and their inner part is slightly lengthened. Highlighting can be done with a white or very light pencil, as well as shadows; it is also possible to use products with mother-of-pearl.
Pay attention to your eyelashes
Long eyelashes, in addition to giving expressiveness and depth to the look, also significantly enlarge the eyes. Since nature has not endowed everyone with such wealth, to achieve the desired effect, use good mascara and apply it in two layers, you can read about how to do this correctly in.
Before applying mascara, be sure to curl your eyelashes using special eyelash curlers. This procedure will open your eyes even more, and therefore make them visually larger. If things are really bad with your eyelashes, you can use false ones. In this case, it is worth using non-solid thick eyelashes, but separate tufts of eyelashes curled towards the top, which will make makeup that enlarges the eyes more natural. Applying such eyelashes is quite simple, for this:
- Apply mascara to your eyelashes, wait for the mascara to dry, then squeeze a small amount of glue on your hand and wait a couple of seconds for it to thicken.
- Using tweezers, carefully remove a bunch of eyelashes and dip their tip into the glue.
- Apply the eyelashes to the eyelid, as close to natural as possible.
- Glue the required number of tufts, starting from the outer corner and gradually moving to the middle of the eyelid. At the same time, try to place the eyelashes as close to one another as possible.
Makeup for enlarged eyes - step by step
To apply makeup you will need:
- Black liner.
- White, beige or pearlescent shadows.
- Matte peach eyeshadow, colors Ivory or beige.
- White eyeliner (preferably high quality and soft).
- Shadows of dark tones, in this case brown were taken.
- Black mascara.
- Eyelash curler.
- Bunches of eyelashes.
Using a corrector or concealer, if necessary, hide dark circles or other possible imperfections. Then even out the tone of your entire face using Foundation. After this, apply a special shadow base to the eye area. This product can be replaced with regular translucent powder.
After preparation, you can apply makeup to enlarge your eyes. To do this, first cover the upper eyelid and the area under the eyebrows with light matte shadows. Apply a little brown, not too dark matte eyeshadow to the crease of your eyelid. Blend them thoroughly so that the clear boundaries disappear. Not too dark brown eyeshadow with mother of pearl, paint the lower eyelid. Do this starting from the outer corner with a thicker line and gradually taper it towards the middle of the eye. Then blend thoroughly.
Paint the upper eyelid and inner corner of the eye with light pearl shadows. Using a thin brush, paint along the eyelashes with dark shadows. Brown arrow, so that it thickens towards the outside of the eye. Then blend it slightly. 
Using a white pencil, paint over the “water line” and then the inner corner of the eye. Apply two coats of mascara to your eyelashes, then lightly tint your lower lashes. After the mascara has dried, line the end of the arrow with a black liner and curl your eyelashes with a curling iron. Glue several bunches of eyelashes on the outside of the eye. 
Makeup to enlarge the eyes, finish by shaping the eyebrow line. If they are dark and expressive enough, simply comb them and apply a little gel. Those with light eyebrows should draw on their eyebrows with a pencil that is a shade darker than their hair. This can also be done with shadows.
