- To give the image of a snowman expressiveness, we need to pay attention to his face. To do this, glue ready-made eyes or black buttons to the appropriate places; We cut the mouth out of red felt or any other fabric and attach it in the form of a perky smile, also using glue.
- Let's start creating a nose - a carrot. For this purpose, we need a sheet of colored or snow-white paper, A4 size. We need to roll it into a tight cone like a carrot, later securing it with tape.
- When the base of the spout is ready, we should take orange threads and also pre-moisten them in the adhesive solution. Then we wrap it tightly onto a paper frame so that we get a bright and even shade, preferably without large gaps. Give it time to dry. After a certain period, we should remove the paper from the thread cover very carefully.
- Frame - we sew a carrot to the snowman's face.

To make balls of thread you will need:
- threads (preferably cotton);
- PVA glue in a small plastic bottle;
- needle according to thread size;
- air balloons;
- rope for drying;
- narrow colored ribbons;
- rubber gloves (preferably, but not required).
1. Blow up several small balloons.
2. Thread the needle without cutting it from the spool, and put on gloves.
3. Now pierce the bottle of PVA glue with a needle. The needle can be removed and you will no longer need it.
4. Pull the thread through the glue bottle and wrap the thread around the ball (if you have a large bottle and don’t want to spoil it, you can pour a little glue into a plastic cup and pull the thread through it). You need to wrap it in such a way as to evenly fill the entire surface of the ball with threads. To speed up the work and make colorful balls, you can pierce the bottle of glue several times and at the same time pull not one, but two or three threads.
5. Continue wrapping the ball with threads until relatively small windows remain between the intersecting threads.
6. Hang the resulting ball of thread on a rope to dry.
7. Wrap the rest of the balls in the same way and hang them up to dry. It is better if the balls hang closer to the battery - this way they will dry out faster.
8. Now you need to be patient and wait until the glue completely hardens. This will take at least a day.

They are original decorations that can be used to decorate not only a festive Christmas tree, but also any space. Creating such toys is a fun process that both adults and children will enjoy.

Since I already have the balloons, although I gave away most of them last year New Year, but I still had a few left, I decided to experiment a little more and made flat jewelry from threads using this technique. This time, I will share with you the whole process and the result of my efforts.
MATERIALS FOR CREATING NEW YEAR'S DECORATIONS FROM THREAD AND GLUE

Various decorative decorations (sequins, glitter, ribbons, lace, etc.)
The first thing you need to do is draw on thick paper the templates of the toys you want to make and cut them out. I got them like this. I decided that I would make a ball, a house, a star and a Christmas tree.
After this, we proceed directly to work. For this I used a foam tray. You can come up with something else, but this object must be flat and easily pierced with needles. One more thing. Since the thickness of the tray is not very large, and for work it is necessary that the needles fit tightly enough, I placed fabric folded several times under the tray from below. The needles pass through the bottom of the tray and penetrate the material. Thus, they are securely fastened and do not move under the tension of the threads.
At the bottom of the tray you need to put stencils of future toys and mark with needles all the corners of the figure and some intermediate places (optional). The more needles, the more intricate and dense the pattern becomes.
Take any deep plate and pour PVA into it. If the glue is thick, then it must be thinned a small amount water. The thicker the resulting liquid, the denser and stronger the resulting toy. We put the threads with which we will work in a plate and let them thoroughly soak in the liquid. This important point, since unimpregnated threads will remain soft. And this is not what we need. But you shouldn’t keep them there for too long. One minute is enough.
After this, we pull the thread by the tail and pull it between the needles in a variety of directions. Create a chaotic geometric pattern. Please note that I made the Christmas tree from two colors: white and green. Initially I pulled a white thread, and then a green one. Thus, the Christmas tree turns out to be a different color on both sides. I made the star entirely out of red thread.
In the same way I made a house and a ball. By the way, I also made a window on the house. It is performed after the yellow threads for the main template are stretched between the needles.
This time, I didn’t wait for my toys to dry naturally, but dried them with a hairdryer. This took some time. Do not pull out the needles while drying!
After the product is almost dry, it must be carefully separated from the tray and dried with reverse side. This is what I got as a result. In principle, they can be left in this form. But, I decided that I would make them more artistic and decorative.
This part of the process took me most of my time. I raked out what I had in my craft arsenal and began to come up with decorating options. As you can see, I used the most different materials: a string of faux pearls, sequins, silk ribbons, a pendant with a pebble, a gold ribbon and even remnants of bead fastenings.
I hung each toy on round strings. Here's what new Year decoration from the threads I got the result.
To be honest, I liked the Christmas tree the most. She is beautiful in her simplicity. Pearl garlands make her very elegant and a little glamorous. In my master class, I want to teach you not only how to make a New Year's ball-web, but also to cultivate skills such as hard work, patience, accuracy and individuality.
For work we will need the following materials:
air balloons;

1. Dilute PVA glue with water, approximately 3:1. Instead of glue, you can use starch paste. To prepare it, take 3 teaspoons of starch per glass of cold water, mix thoroughly and bring to a boil.
2. Inflate the balloon until the right size, give it round shape, tie it with thread.
3. Rewind required amount yarn, put it in a bowl and leave for 5 minutes.
4. Wrap the ball with yarn, first leaving a large distance between the threads. If you are unable to wind glue-soaked thread onto a ball, you can wind dry thread and then thoroughly soak it in glue using a brush or sponge.
5. Gradually reduce the distance between the threads until the entire ball is wrapped in yarn and resembles a cocoon. You can use yarn (threads) of any color or paint it with any paint or glitter (spray). Leave it to dry (at least for a day).
6. After complete drying, burst balloon and carefully remove it from the thread cocoon.
7. We tie a string to the ball of thread for fastening.

- Saturate the thread with PVA glue. To do this, unwind the ball, and then loosely wind the threads again. Dip the whole skein into a container of glue. You can do it this way: punch 2 holes in a tube of PVA glue and pass a thread through them, threaded through a needle, as you make the toy. Remove excess glue drops with a napkin.
- Start wrapping the ball by securing the thread at its base. Make sure that each subsequent turn overlaps the previous one. You may need an assistant here, for example a child.
- After you have wrapped the entire ball, cover the end of the thread with a thick layer of PVA glue and hide it under the winding. Evaluate the work. If somewhere the threads do not fit tightly, you will need an additional layer of glue.
- Finished balls of thread need to be hung to dry. This usually takes at least 20 hours. You should not place the craft next to heating devices to speed up the process: the balloon may deflate.
- The base can be removed from the hardened workpiece. To do this, pierce the balloon with a needle and carefully pull it out through the holes in the threads.
How to decorate balloons
The resulting blank can be decorated in different ways. For the ball to become a toy or decorative decoration, you will need to use your imagination. You can involve children in decorating crafts.
