    Eggs made from threads

    String eggs are a great idea for home decoration. The principle is the same as when creating balls from threads, only in this case the role of the frame will be played by an eggshell.

    You will need:

    • multi-colored threads;
    • glue (PVA is possible);
    • egg.

    You need to make a hole on the sharp side of the egg and pour the contents into a plate. Wash the shell, dry it and spread it thick cream for your hands so that the threads do not stick. Then wind the threads soaked in glue around the shell. When everything dries and hardens, pick out the shell with nail scissors and remove.

    Ready-made openwork eggs can be placed in a small vase, hung as a decoration, assembled into a garland, or decorated with an Easter holiday tree. The scope for using this decoration is great.

    An unusual decoration would be an eggshell wrapped in thread.

    The frame can also be an inflatable ball. How to make an egg from threads with your own hands, see the video below.

    Original stands for paints

    Paints installed in special stands will look beautiful and extraordinary.

    For a stand, a rectangle is cut out of colored paper, the length of which will correspond to the diameter of the product. Cuts are made on one side - this will be the grass. The paper is glued and decorated at your discretion. Such stands can be multi-layered: using several rectangles.

    You can make a stand out of cardboard and design it in the shape of a rabbit. The base of the stand is cut from the inner tube toilet paper or glued together with your own hands and then painted over with regular gouache. Ears are made from cardboard and attached inside the tube. All that remains is to attach the nose (large beads or beads) and draw a muzzle. You can decorate bunnies with bows made of felt, paper, or ribbon. For boys we make butterfly bows. For girls - hairpins.

    How to make an origami stand, see the video below.

    Easter egg stands made from birch or willow branches will look stylish and original. Twigs are taken, immersed in hot water, which will make them soft, and a “nest” for the egg is woven. At the end, the branches are braided with ribbon.

    You can weave an unusual stand yourself. For this you will need: cardboard, twine and glue. The work process is simple:

    • cut out a small circle from cardboard;
    • make an odd number of holes in it (for example, 19);
    • Pass pieces of string through each pair of opposite holes. You need to work from the inside - out, so that the walls are on top of the circle;
    • thread the thread from the skein into the remaining hole and begin weaving the basket, alternately passing the twine over and under the bottom of the “walls.” Upon completion of the work, pass the end of the thread into the middle and secure with glue. Cut the side twines and secure them inside the basket;
    • You need to decorate such baskets with light elements: napkins, corrugated paper or decorative feathers.

    How to make a basket from twine using a ball, see the video below.

    Easter eggs using decoupage technique

    An important point for working with boiled eggs, which will later be eaten: you only need a natural paste. You can cook it yourself.

    Basics of working in decoupage technique:

    • After application to the shell, the paper element is treated with paste. The glue is applied using a brush from the center to the edges.
    • A final application of glue to the entire product is required.
    • Such eggs must be dried carefully so as not to damage the work: on a stand made of toothpicks or a special grill.
    • You can use multi-layer napkins, but in this case you will only need upper layer.

    There are several types of preparation of a natural adhesive base.

    • From protein. To do this, lightly beat the egg white with a fork. It is necessary to prevent the appearance of foam, as air bubbles will interfere with work.
    • From starch. Dilute half a teaspoon of starch in two tablespoons of water. Then you need to boil half a glass of water and add diluted starch. Stir until the mixture boils and then remove from heat.
    • From sugar. Dissolve two teaspoons of sugar in two tablespoons of hot water.

    Christians consider Easter to be the most happy holiday per year. Easter cards and eggs, handmade crafts will help create a festive mood and special comfort in your home. In this collection you will also find interesting ideas for gifts to loved ones and relatives.

    Easter egg decoration

    Both painted and unpainted eggs can be used for decoration. Considering that almost all methods of decorating Easter eggs use glue, it will no longer be possible to eat such eggs. Therefore, it is better to use blown eggs, which can be stored for years. If you want to use Easter eggs for food, use raw egg white instead of glue.

    How to blow out an egg? To do this, pierce it on both sides with a needle, then pierce the yolk with a long needle or wire so that it flows out more easily. Gently blow the egg into a plate using a straw (you can also use a syringe).

    When working with eggshell There is always a risk that it will crack. An original solution to this problem is offered by the website Country of Masters. To prevent the shell from cracking during decoration, you need to fill the blown egg with polyurethane foam. Detailed instructions see the link.

    The easiest way to decorate Easter eggs is to use store-bought or homemade stickers. Cut out Easter-themed pictures from a magazine or print them from the Internet in a small size so that they can lie flat on the surface of the egg without wrinkles. For example, like .

    Apply PVA glue or special glue for decoupage to the egg, glue the picture, you can cover the picture with another layer of glue on top. Let it dry.

    Using the decoupage technique, you can use napkins with beautiful spring designs or patterns. Cut out pictures from napkins. It is not necessary to do it very evenly; you can leave small white edges, since they will still be invisible on the egg. Separate the top layer of the patterned napkin; you won't need the other two layers. Coat the surface of the egg with glue or egg white. Carefully smoothing out the folds, glue the cut out design or pattern. Apply another layer of glue on top. Let it dry.

    For Easter decoupage, it is better to take white eggs, because the design looks brighter on them.

    You can use the shell for decoration colored eggs. Using PVA glue, stick it onto your Easter egg.

    You can also glue Easter eggs with bright floss threads in contrasting colors.
