    I hope that you understand everything and that you have no questions on this topic. Now let's continue with the main topic.

    We make wreaths from pine cones with our own hands

    For this version of the New Year's wreath, any cones from any tree will suit us. If you don’t have pine trees, then you can safely take others into account. This will not make the view worse, and it may even turn out better.

    In this version we will make artificial Christmas tree branches from paper. If you don’t want to tinker for a long time, then you can easily get by with purchased ones.

    We will need:

    • bumps
    • cardboard
    • baking paper (newspaper)
    • A4 paper
    • acrylic paint (green)
    • copper wire
    • Super glue
    • ribbon and beads for decoration

    How to do:

    1. Cut out a “donut” from cardboard of any size you like. To do this, draw circles on cardboard and cut it out.

    2. Glue baking paper or old newspaper to the resulting frame using tape.

    Before gluing, the paper must be thoroughly crumpled so that it becomes voluminous.

    3. The result is a blank like the one in the photo below.

    4. Now we paint the A4 sheet in green color on both sides and let dry.

    5. After that, cut it into strips 3-4 cm wide and move on to the next step.

    6. We need to make a fringe from the strips. To do this, we fold the painted strips in several layers and make frequent cuts, approximately 2/3 of the width.

    7. Carefully open it so that the workpiece does not tear.

    9. We put it on a paper fringe and begin to wrap the wire in paper, gradually going down.

    10. Let's fluff it up a little and get a branch like this.

    11. Having made several of these branches, you can collect larger branches by connecting them together.

    12. Now we glue the cones with the resulting Christmas tree branches to the base of the wreath.

    For beauty, several cones can be painted red, which is what we did.

    13. Decorate the finished wreath with beads and tie a ribbon.

    That's all! Ready. As you can see, everything is quite easy and simple. And in the end we got such a beautiful, festive wreath on New Year and Christmas.

    Wreaths made from burlap and wine corks

    The wreath that I want to offer you now will look very good in the kitchen. In addition to corks and burlap, we will use bay leaves, allspice, cinnamon tubes and various nuts. The result is a very fragrant wreath that will fill your kitchen with its aroma.

    How to do:

    1. First, as always, let's make the base. You can make it from ordinary newspaper, twist it and connect the ends with glue or paper tape. You can also use the first option described in this article.

    2. We wrap the workpiece with burlap or decorative mesh, as in our case. Use a glue gun to glue it to the base of the wreath.

    3. Now it's time for wine corks. We paste them around the entire perimeter of the future wreath.

    4. Let's make a loop from ribbon or some kind of rope. It also needs to be glued with a glue gun, and the free ends should be wrapped around the entire surface of the workpiece.

    5. Decorate the wreath with nuts (almonds or walnuts), placing them on glue.

    The more nuts, cinnamon and bay leaves, the more festive and beautiful the finished product will look.

    6. Next come cinnamon sticks.

    7. Our composition will be completed with bay leaves and allspice.

    Ready. How do you like this idea?

    Making a wreath for the New Year 2019 from beads

    People who weave all kinds of bead products know that anything can be made from it. So the New Year's wreath is no exception. It will take a little time and skill, and in the end you will get a very beautiful product that can be hung anywhere. Let's try to do it.

    We will need:

    • green beads
    • copper wire
    • aluminum wire (noodle)
    • ribbon
    • beads
    • glue gun

    How to do:

    1. First of all, we need to weave Christmas tree branches from beads. To do this on copper wire thread in as many beads as possible.

    2. Count out the beads, approximately 12-15 pieces, and make a loop.

    3. Twist the wire 3-4 turns.

    4. We carry out steps 2 and 3 until we reach the required length.

    5. Now we wrap the aluminum wire with green tape and glue the end with a glue gun.

    6. We wind the “needles” of beads onto this wire in a circle.

    7. Connect both ends of the wire, giving round shape. We wrap the joint with red tape and glue it.

    8. We also form a bow from the red ribbon and glue it to the wreath.

    9. Glue red beads to the finished product.

    10. We thread golden beads into copper wire and wrap it around the wreath.

    That's the whole process. Agree that it turned out very beautiful.

    A very beautiful and bright wreath can be made from the balls with which we usually decorate the Christmas tree. It's very simple and quick way. But the result is simply stunning. A few balls, Christmas tree tinsel, a cardboard base and glue - that's all we need. And of course good mood and a confident attitude.

    We will need:

    • Christmas balls
    • tinsel
    • ribbon

    How to do:

    1. Distribute the balls over the cardboard base and glue them with glue.

    Leave a small gap between the balls so that you can decorate the wreath with tinsel.

    3. Glue a ribbon bow.

    4. You can hang a couple of balls on the finished wreath.

    This creativity takes very little time, but it turns out very beautifully.

    Step-by-step instructions for making a felt wreath

    Did you know that you can make more than just toys from felt? As you probably already guessed, now we will try to make a Christmas wreath, which will contain elements. made from this material, namely felt flowers. Let's be patient and get started.

    • felt (red and white)
    • pine branches (live or artificial)
    • bumps
    • beads
    • ribbon
    • glue gun

    How to do:

    1. You know how to make the base, so I won’t describe the process, but will immediately move on to the next step.

    2. Using glue, glue the burlap tape to the base.

    3. Let's start decorating. Let's make flowers from felt.

    4. We cut out flowers using a stencil. We need to cut out one whole shape and 5 separate petals, as in the photo below.

    5. We sew the lower part of each petal, forming a recess and sew it to the main flower.

    6. We do the same with the remaining petals and sew them together.

    7. Glue a bead into the middle of the flower.

    8. Glue the finished flowers to the base of the wreath with a glue gun.

    10. Attach gold ribbons.

    11. The edges of the flowers can be painted white to give them a more finished look.

    12. And finally, glue the pine cones and decorate the wreath with a ribbon bow.

    Door wreath made of pine cones and Christmas balls

    The last option would be a New Year's wreath, assembled from various cones and balls, as well as some other elements that will complement the picture with their presence. This wreath looks very good anywhere, but we will hang it on the door.

    Agree that when it comes to New Year's wreaths, you immediately imagine the front door on which it hangs. So why not make it and hang it exactly where it looks best?

    We will need:

    How to do:

    1. We wrap the base of the wreath with tinsel, distributing it evenly over the entire surface.

    2. Glue the cones in a chaotic order.

    The edges of some pine cones can be painted White color. It will look more beautiful this way.

    3. Now it's time for the balls. We also glue them over the entire surface.

    4. And the last decorative elements are nuts.

    5. Use white paint to slightly tint all the components of the wreath.

    6. If desired, add white and silver beads.

    7. Sprinkle with artificial snow and hang on the door.

    That's all. It turned out very cool and festively beautiful.

    That's all I have for today. It's up to you. Happy creativity! I will be waiting for your feedback on what and how you did it. Thank you for your time and attention.

    New Year, the most magical, fabulous holiday, always bright, cheerful, expected. The birth of the New Year is closely connected with the holiday of Christmas, a sacrament to which various rituals and symbols are dedicated.

    One of them is a kind of wreath-calendar that counts down the days until solemn date. A wooden wheel, decorated with spruce paws, ribbons and candles, was placed so that it could be seen from afar. This beautiful tradition has taken root all over the world and has acquired a more secular character; the wreath has also become a New Year’s symbol.

    Traditionally, New Year's decoration is made in the form of a ring of pine needles with 4 candles - a symbol of eternal life, the Earth with its four parts of the world.

    In the weeks leading up to New Year's, you can choose any decoration in a store without really thinking about the meaning and significance. But in anticipation of a miracle, it is advisable to create this winter symbol that attracts happiness with your own hands, especially since you don’t have to look for what to make a wreath from - there is material all around, apparently and invisibly, all you have to do is turn on your imagination.

    Needles and cones - December sketch

    Neat branches of spruce, pine, fir, shining with dark green, intertwined with a red or white satin ribbon with pine cones whimsically scattered around, interspersed with Christmas balls and tinsel.

    Cones of different sizes look great, slightly sprinkled with sparkles, surrounded by bright berries rowan. Rowan, according to the Druids, is full of worries about tomorrow– it is now fashionable to include representatives in the composition different cultures, suitable for the topic.

    In the tradition of decorating New Year's, Christmas symbols and bows. Priority - red, white, gold, with two rings and forked tails. And of course, an angel - where would we be without him on such a magical holiday! Cute angels can be present everywhere; there are no boundaries or restrictions for them.

    Candies and sweets - children's joy

    Not only kids love candy! Chocolate balls in shiny foil go perfectly with Scandinavian candy sticks and real mirror balls. Long striped caramels form a thoughtful disorder, creating a mood, and a strict bow sort of tidies up their cheerful interweaving.

    New Year's fruits - oranges and tangerines

    The bright color of citrus fruits, their spring joy and figures made of aluminum foil will remind you of a wonderful winter holiday even in summer. Orange discs, conveniently located on a pine pillow, are a recognizable New Year's wreath.

    Original ideas - there is no limit to holiday imagination

    It’s not difficult to create a New Year’s wreath like no one else has. With a little skill and great desire, guided by our master class, the windows of your cafe will be decorated with a composition of wine corks or plastic cups.

    On children's party openwork snowflake wreaths, skillfully made from napkins, will call.

    A strict masculine character is visible in the work of carpentry, which attracts attention with its clear lines and lively lines of wood.

    How to do it or a small master class

    Almost any wreath can be made with your own hands from available materials. It is good to cut the base out of cardboard, plywood or thick foam - it is important that the parts are attached to the base material with glue, small nails or pins.

    We offer schematic instructions for making original jewelry to help - step by step photos. The first two steps, as can be seen in the photo, are the same for any decor option.

    Preparatory stage

    1. The basis. The size of the future product depends on where it will be located - on the outside front door, on a window, in a display case, on a table or on the wall of the living room. Using a compass or ordinary plates, draw 2 concentric circles at a distance of about 10 cm from each other. Cut out the ring.
    2. On back side You should attach a loop of twine or thin wire to secure it to a door or window.

    Warmth of textiles

    Wrap the prepared base around the ring with satin or velvet ribbon, braid, rope or thread - the wreath is ready! Examples are in the photo. All that remains is to add Christmas touches - an impromptu candle, fir paws, bows and other decorations.

    Balls of multi-colored wool and fragments of knitting, ostentatiously pinned to the ring with knitting needles, look wonderful. A sort of symbol of home.

    Gifts from a squirrel

    Nuts are a wonderful material for making New Year's decorations. Use a glue gun to attach them to the circle.

    Colored burlap

    1. A wonderful, textured, pliable material - burlap, cut into squares with a side of 15 - 20 cm.
    2. Fold each square in half into a triangle, then pull the long ends to the central corner (connect the sharp corners with the straight corners). It turns out to be a square with a depression.
    3. Using small nails or pins, we attach the free edge of the square to the base braided with straw or twine, and overlap the next one, gradually filling the surface of the ring.

    An unusual wreath with soft corners can be decorated with bows, small cones, candies or Christmas balls, leaves cut from the same burlap, spruce branches, arranging them in any order.

    New Year's wreath from a carpentry workshop

    Having prepared identical wooden rectangles, fasten them to the base in a random or strict geometric order. Additional decor - pine paws, bows, berries. An example is in the photo.

    Snow wreath made from paper napkins

    1. Preparing the filling. Round napkins Fold in four to create triangles with a rounded lace edge.
    2. We attach each triangle with a pin to the foam template, as shown in the photo, then, as close as possible to the first, the second, third, and so on, until the entire surface of the base ring is covered under an improvised snow layer.
    3. Decorate the snow circle with a bright red bow, one or four (imitating 4 candles).

    Unusual material

    The original material is an exhaust pipe. It is enough to bend a shiny, neat exhaust pipe, identical along the entire length, into a ring, and disguise the junction with a beautiful ribbon, a New Year’s “rain”.

    Christmas decorations

    As a base, you can use a wire trempel - a clothes hanger. Leave the hook intact to secure the masterpiece. Unbend the rest of the wire and bend it again, now in the shape of a ring, and then hook the very tip to our hook.

    All that remains is to string the Christmas tree balls in any order, of any size and color. There's someone who's up to something! But the wreath turns out bright and original.

    As an option: you can come up with cute products from tinsel, satin ribbons, even from ordinary pasta!

    A New Year's wreath attached to the outside of the front door invites guests; lying on the table speaks of the cordiality of the owners; greeting passers-by from a window or shop window pleases the eye and lifts the mood.

    New Year is a holiday highly revered in our country. This new stage life, many believe that with the onset next year change is bound to happen. And they depend on how you spend this holiday. There is even a proverb among the people: “how you celebrate the New Year is how you will spend it.” On this holiday, it is customary to prepare many different dishes, clean the house and decorate it in every possible way. Even without following traditions, people still decorate their homes before this holiday, since decorations are the harbingers of the holiday. They create a special atmosphere, create Christmas mood and allow you to surprise guests with the skill of the owner. Today we will dedicate the day to create a DIY New Year's wreath with you.

    Decorations are harbingers of the holiday

    For the New Year's Eve, a wreath will be an excellent decorative element.

    Wreaths are made from anything

    In our country, it is customary to make a wreath as a New Year's decoration. However, it has a certain history and symbolism. This decoration came to us from Western countries, where it is a symbol of Christmas. And its real name is “Advent wreath”. Its invention is believed to date back to 1839, and is attributed to the hands of Johann Hinrich Wichern. A Hamburg theologian and Lutheran raised children from a poor family. With the onset of winter, they often asked their mentor if Christmas would come soon (and according to Catholic traditions it is December 25). So that the pupils could count down the days until Christmas, he made a wreath from an old wheel, branches from the garden and satin ribbons, and put 24 small red candles and 4 large white ones in it. Every day the children lit one candle, and on Sunday, along with the small one, they also lit a large white candle. So on December 24, the last candle was burned on Christmas Eve, which indicated the coming of Christmas.

    This version is the most famous. However, there is information about ancient Germanic settlements where such wreaths were made before Christmas. The ancient Slavs made similar wreaths from ears of corn and hung them on the door at the entrance. They considered him a talisman and revered him very much. But there is no exact information about what these wreaths looked like and what symbolism they carried. In the old days, the Ukrainian Slavs, for example, used the didukh decoration as a symbol of Christmas. This is a sheaf of straw, which was installed in the corner of the house under the icon. It was considered a talisman, a symbol of wealth, prosperity and preservation of the ancestral family.

    IN modern traditions The Christmas wreath has lost its symbolism and is used as a decoration. Often, fir branches, holly, mistletoe and poinsettia are used to make it. These plants are famous for their ability to stay green all winter. In addition, there is a belief that if two lovers kiss under a wreath of mistletoe on Christmas night, their life together will be full of happiness. So, this decoration is hung above the front door or placed on festive table. In the second case, candles are often used to light them on New Year's or Christmas night.

    In general, this tradition is typical for Western countries. However, we also find it in our country as a decoration. Only here it does not carry any special symbolism, and wreaths are made not for Christmas, but as a New Year's decoration. They look very attractive. We propose to create this miracle.

    The New Year's wreath has its own history and symbolism

    There are several stories of the appearance of the wreath

    General principles

    Although a Christmas wreath is recognizable in any form, different countries it has its own modification. So in Scotland we will see pieces of checkered fabric on the product along with spruce branches. American decorations use red ribbons, maintaining the country's traditional Christmas combination of red and green. In France we see wreaths with dried flowers intertwined. We use all available means. So you can see on your neighbors’ doors wreaths made of socks, ties, tinsel, and of course traditional spruce branches.

    For each country the wreath has its own modification

    The purpose of all wreaths is the same, only the modifications differ

    Red ribbons are used in American jewelry

    But regardless of their modifications, Christmas wreaths have general principle creation. Only the tools and materials used differ; in some cases, the number of stages and principles of creation may differ. Let's divide the work into several stages.

    materials

    tools

    Preparatory

    All finished parts of the composition

    Glue, thread, tape, wire

    We see the main stages of creating a composition. We will follow them as we work. Let's start making holiday decoration, having considered different types New Year's wreaths.

    Making your own wreath is easy if you follow the instructions.

    Any available means can be used for a wreath

    Various options

    We offer you a variety of options for making New Year's wreaths. You will be surprised what materials are used and how many modifications of wreaths there are. We have already said that the principle of their creation is similar, but only the external design differs. And the ring for the New Year's wreath on the table is approximately the same for various options. There are two most used types: wire base and cardboard base. Of course, you can make a circle out of paper, wood, foam, or not use a base at all. However, the use of cardboard or wire will help make the product more durable. So, let's start with the basics.

    A wreath can be made from cardboard

    The wreath ring can be made of metal or cardboard

    The use of wire can make the wreath more durable

    Wreath ring

    First, decide on the size of the future wreath. It depends on its location. If you plan to decorate the table, remember that it should be neat and not interfere with the food, but at the same time noticeable at the holiday.

    So, first, draw a circle on a piece of paper that matches the size of your future wreath. Now cut the amount of wire to fit the circumference. We calculate its size using the presented formula:

    Where C corresponds to the circumference, n is a mathematical constant equal to 3.14, r is the radius of the circle. You can measure the radius with a ruler and calculate the required wire length using the proposed formula. You can also use another method, and by applying the wire to the sketch of the circle, determine the required length. It’s even easier to form a circle “on the fly” without precise calculations.

    In any case, we have decided on the length. Now twist its ends using pliers to form a circle. Depending on what the next layers are made of, wind one or two more layers of wire, fastening them all together. Ready.

    The cardboard ring is made without a blank. A circle of the required diameter is drawn on a sheet of cardboard. Next, a certain distance from the outer line is set aside at four points of the circle (so that the inner one turns out even). The inner circle is drawn using the marked points. Now we remove it without disturbing the external one. So we only have the headband left. These are the rings for the New Year's wreath, on which decorative elements are attached.

    Now the base is ready, and with its use we can start making Christmas decorations using various materials.

    First of all, you need to decide on the size of the wreath.

    It’s much easier to make a wreath on the go, rather than counting every centimeter

    Christmas tree branches

    It is worth paying tribute to tradition. The symbol of the New Year, and in Western countries, where this tradition came to us, and Christmas, is the New Year tree. A wreath made of fir branches is perfect as a decoration for a door, window, or table.

    To create it, use both wire and cardboard bases. It is better to wrap the latter in a thick layer of paper to add volume. Now we prepare the decorative part. Take spruce or pine branches (with short needles), cut them into small pieces, prepare glue and yarn. Additionally, you can use pine cones, satin bows, artificial berries, bells, etc. But don’t overdo it. It is advisable to mix no more than three colors (in our case, green, red and gold).

    Now let's start with the layout. It is carried out in two ways.

    Regarding fasteners, you can:

    1. tie the branches to the base using threads;
    2. glue them using polymer glue.

    The most popular is a wreath made of spruce branches

    Toys, pine cones, and ribbons are suitable for decorating a wreath.

    To create such a wreath, you can use cardboard and wire.

    As for the appearance, we make the wreath in the following variations.

    1. “Russed”, arranging the branches in a chaotic manner. To do this they must be short. Place them on the glue so that they stick up. Fill in the gaps and add braid, pine cones, etc.
    2. “Smooth” compared to the first option. To do this, we tie the ring so that the branches are on both sides, and they are attached to the inside of the ring. This way they will be directed in one direction (from the inside to the outside), and we will get a relatively smooth and voluminous wreath. For this option you will need flexible and long branches.

    A wreath of holly, fir or mistletoe is made in the same way. You can find it in flower shops or grow it in the garden. This amazing plant also remains green throughout the year.

    The wreath can be made smooth by placing the branches in one direction

    By arranging the branches in a chaotic order, you can get a voluminous wreath

    Natural materials

    Other natural materials that are quite suitable for making a New Year's wreath for the table with your own hands include pine cones, acorns, nuts, tangerines (dried), and berries.

    For these materials, it is better to use a cardboard base, tying it with a large layer of paper or fabric (for volume). The best way to secure it is with glue.

    You can make a wreath made entirely of pine cones. So, paint them the same color, different ones, or leave them natural brown. The pine cones also make excellent company for tangerines and cinnamon sticks. Gifts from a squirrel - nuts and acorns - look good together.

    It is better to dilute such compositions green using natural green leaves or some pine needles. It will also be good to keep the entire composition in brown color, adding twine or burlap to it.

    Natural materials can be used for decoration

    Pine cones are perfect for decorating a wreath

    For natural materials It's better to use a cardboard base

    Fabric and thread

    By the way, about burlap. Use it yourself too. This is a great material for creating a warm, rustic atmosphere.

    Create a wreath using burlap squares. We cut out identical squares and modify them as desired. We suggest folding them, turning the edges, and placing them overlapping each other. This way fill the entire circle. Add some greenery and a bright bow to the composition.

    Another option. Cut a long piece of not very stiff burlap, fold it in half and sew it together. Then, using a needle and thread, sew a stitch down the center, gathering the fabric a little (to create an “accordion”). Here we have an airy and light wreath. Use it without a base, or secure the resulting element on a cardboard ring by diluting decorative elements(bells, stars, berries, etc.).

    Introducing original idea using threads. A wreath of colorful balls. This option looks great both on the door and on the table, symbolizing home comfort and warmth. It is made as follows.

    Make balls of wool of varying sizes. The threads should be woven as freely as possible to make the balls light. Then sew or glue the resulting balls to the cardboard base in a chaotic manner, quite tightly. Knit a small fabric from the same threads. Sew it to several balls and stick the knitting needles. This idea looks creative and adds a special coziness.

    You can use fabric and thread to decorate the wreath

    This wreath looks very beautiful and gives the room a special atmosphere.

    Tinsel and Christmas tree toys

    New Year's tinsel is a material that is found in every home and is a symbol of the New Year. It will also make a wonderful Christmas wreath.

    Here we will use a wire base. It is enough to wrap it in large quantities rain to create a voluminous silhouette, and the wreath is ready. We dilute it with cones, acorns, sweets, New Year's balls. By combining several colors of New Year's tinsel, you will get a wreath with a pattern that does not require additional elements.

    Mentioned christmas balls, like other Christmas tree toys, can be used independently. The principle is the same. Secure them with thread wire frame, and the wreath is ready.

    There are also many ideas: use pasta, socks, ties, beans, clothespins, sweets... In general, whatever comes to your mind. The main thing is to have a festive mood while working.

One of the most important attributes of the New Year is the Christmas wreath, which is used to decorate the festive table or front door.

    I've always loved Christmas wreaths. I enjoyed looking at them in photographs in magazines. But they weren’t sold in our stores back then, and for some reason the idea that you could make a wreath with your own hands didn’t even occur to us.
    Then such wreaths appeared in our stores, but the thought of making them myself again did not occur to me. I wanted to have such a wreath, but the price somehow didn’t fit in with my desire. The Internet appeared and, finally, the smart idea came to look in its vastness for the technology of making New Year's wreaths with your own hands.
    At first, my eyes ran wide from the many options. But then I remembered that I like it to be beautiful, fast and economical, and I began to look in this direction. What I liked, I bring to your attention.

    By the way, do you know that the tradition of decorating a house beautiful wreath from fir branches came from Western countries, where Lutherans, Catholics and Protestants celebrate the Nativity of Christ on December 25?

    The story of the origin of the Advent wreath is very touching. In 1839, Lutheran theologian Johann Wichern, who raised children from poor families, made such a wreath for the first time. The children were looking forward to Christmas and constantly asked if it would come soon. Then Johann came up with a great idea - with the onset of Lent (Advent), in 28 days, make a Christmas wreath from an old wheel, decorating it with fir branches. He placed 24 small red candles and 4 large white ones on this wheel. And every day before morning prayer he lit one red candle, and on Sundays a large white one.

    Initially, the tradition of decorating a house with a Christmas wreath meant a pleasant anticipation of the holiday. And still in many European countries, 4 weeks before Christmas, one white candle is lit on Sundays. The round wreath means eternal life, and candles are divine light.

    But the tradition itself turned out to be so beautiful that it spread to other countries, including Orthodox ones. The wreath is prepared before the New Year, and it has become an integral beautiful attribute New Year's holidays in our homes.

    DIY New Year's wreath base

    You can make wreaths from various auxiliary materials - fir branches, cones, burlap, Christmas balls and even wine corks. But the main thing in a wreath is the base on which all this beauty will be attached.

    There are a lot of ways to make a base; perhaps over time you will come up with your own. And now I want to offer you a very simple and inexpensive way to obtain the basis for any Christmas wreath.

    What we need for work:

    • wire about 75 cm long, you can use aluminum with a cross-section of 2 mm; it is important that it is not soft and keeps its shape;
    • old newspapers;
    • threads;
    • light paper (toilet paper, paper towels or used paper tablecloth);
    • organza ribbon 4 cm wide;
    • padding polyester

    Step-by-step instruction:

    1. We bend the wire so that we get a circle with a diameter of 25-27 cm. It is possible with a smaller diameter, but you need to take into account that then you will glue cones, toys, and so on to the base, not only along the outer diameter, but also along the inner one.
    It is necessary that when finished, there is empty space inside, otherwise it will no longer be a New Year’s wreath.
    Twist the ends of the wire. If it is difficult to do this with your hands, use pliers. It is best to ask men to do this; they have been able to handle wire since childhood.
    The result should be a ring, as in the photo.

    2. Now we take old newspapers and threads. First, we crumple newspapers in our hands, and then we begin to wrap the wire with these newspapers without pressing tightly. To prevent the paper from moving, we wrap it with thread on top. We make 2-3 turns with newspaper, then we wrap these turns with thread, again 2-3 turns with newspaper and again secure with thread, and so on.
    3. If the first layer seems thin to you, then roll up the second layer of newspapers, not forgetting to wrinkle them well first. This gives volume to our workpiece. The result of this stage is in the picture below.

    Actually, the blank is already ready, you can glue twigs and toys onto it. Would you say it's ugly? I think so too. So let's move on.

    4. Now take white paper and wrap the resulting donut with white paper, securing it with white threads. You can make several layers, this will only benefit the bagel, it will become stronger.

    Look at the picture to see what happened. Already beautiful, right? But there is one caveat. If in the future you plan to decorate the wreath not very tightly, then White paper will shine through, and this is already low-quality work. So let's make another layer

    5. Take an organza ribbon and wrap our donut in one or two layers over white paper. If you took a brown ribbon, then the bagel turned into a ring of Krakow sausage. Does it really look like it?

    We choose the color of the tape depending on what you will glue in the future. We were going to stick on pine cones and spruce branches, so the brown tape will show through quite naturally.

    Why did you choose an organza ribbon and not a satin one, for example? Because details don’t stick well to satin ribbon, but they stick to organza very well.

    That's it, the base is ready, you can start making the Christmas wreath itself.

    But, take your time. We have another very simple version of the base.

    You can use strips of thick white padding polyester instead of newspapers and paper. Just like with paper, wrap these strips around the wire. Just fasten it not with threads, but glue it with a silicone gun after 2-3 turns.
    First, glue it to the wire; if a second layer is needed, then to the padding polyester of the first layer. The end result is this cute fluffy miracle.

    Just remember that this base will hold up to lighter embellishments.

    I warn you right away that this is not the easiest wreath to make. Rather, it can even be called complex. But it turns out so beautiful and so economical that I couldn’t help but talk about it. Or rather, it will not be me who will tell the story, but those craftswomen who have mastered this method.

    So as not to surf the Internet and waste time, I suggest you watch a video right here and now on how such wreaths are made.

    Christmas wreath made of pine cones - step-by-step instructions

    An inexpensive and very cute wreath is made from pine and fir cones. Let's go to the forest or the nearest park and easily find material for our wreath.

    Glue on ribbon bows.

    Add bows made of gold braid. Glue pearls into the middle of the bow, or pine cone, or wherever else your heart desires.

    Wreath made of burlap and wine corks

    This wreath is suitable not only as a New Year's decoration, but also for decorating the kitchen. After all, in almost every home there are used wine corks. These are the ones we will use.

    What you need to make a wreath:

    • sackcloth;
    • wine corks;
    • cinnamon tubes;
    • Bay leaf;
    • allspice or black peppercorns;
    • nuts;
    • Raffia is a natural fiber made from palm leaves; you can use a suitable rope or twine instead.

    We take the base for the wreath and instead of a brown organza ribbon we wrap the future wreath with burlap. We do this carefully overlapping, so that later, while we are gluing the corks, our wreath will not become disheveled. We use a glue gun as usual, gluing the burlap to the base from time to time.

    Now we will glue the corks to the burlap, beautifully distributing them throughout the wreath.

    It turned out like this “bagel sprinkled with corks.”

    Now take the raffia, fold it in half and make a loop. I have already written that instead of raffia, you can take rope or thick twine; it is important that they match the color and do not seem alien. Glue the loop to the base.

    The remaining long ends We wrap the raffia around the base and secure the ends with glue.

    We finally decorate the wreath with cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, peppercorns, seeds, nuts and anything else that comes to hand in the kitchen. Bright accent The wreath would contain red rose hips or any other berries.

    Master class on making a New Year's wreath from beads

    What you need to make a wreath:

    • green wire thickness 0.37 mm;
    • large beads, red or blue;
    • green beads (can be mixed);
    • gold beads No. 10 for the garland;
    • a ring or steel wire of the small diameter we need;
    • ribbon;
    • bell;
    • glue.

    1. As always, the work begins with making the base. For this wreath, we take a ready-made ring or make it ourselves from wire. The diameter of the ring is approximately 15 cm. The ring can be wrapped in green tape or paper so that the gaps are not so noticeable later.

    2. Then we string green beads onto a thin green wire 3-3.5 meters long.

    3. We twist the following loops from the stringed beads.

    Our goal is to get a long ribbon of identical loops

    4. We wrap the base with the resulting ribbon, periodically gluing the beaded ribbon and the base. Our simple boring wire became green and fluffy.

    5. The next stage is to string large red (you can add blue, silver) beads onto a thin wire.

    6. Again we wrap our already green and fluffy base with wire with red beads, beautifully distributing them between the green loops.

    7. We string gold beads onto a thin wire 1.5 - 2 meters long. We wrap the resulting beauty around a base with greenery and red beads. From red satin ribbon Let's prepare a bow.

    The junction of the warp wire must be closed

    8. Glue some beautiful leaves on the front side. We wrap the loop of the bell with a loop of ribbon and glue it so that the ribbon loop from the inside covers the junction of the wire. We attach the bell to the leaves from the front side.

    9. The final touch: glue a red bow on top.

    Congratulations! The beaded wreath is ready. Like?

    How to make a wreath of Christmas balls with your own hands

    A wreath made of Christmas balls is the most beautiful and most New Year's wreath. And you can do it very quickly, in just half an hour.

    Provided, of course, that everything necessary materials on your desk:

      • white and blue ribbons;
      • Christmas balls of different sizes;
      • white wreath base;
      • white tinsel;
      • strong white thread.

    First of all, we wrap the base of the wreath with white tinsel. To prevent the tinsel from moving, we glue it to the base in several places.

    We tie one end of the white thread to our fluffy donut. The thread must be strong enough so that it does not break when we start stringing balls onto it.

    Let's start decorating the wreath. We string 3 balls, make 2-3 turns of thread around the base and glue it. Next, we string 3 more balls, again make 2-3 turns of thread and glue again. And so on until we decorate the entire bagel.

    We make a loop from the ribbons, tie it to the wreath and tie it beautiful bow. Our wreath is ready. Did you do it in half an hour? Great!

    2. We wrap the workpiece with green tinsel, gluing it in several places.

    3. Where the loop is located, glue a red bow on the front side.

    4. We wrap a garland of red beads around the entire wreath.
