    Snowflakes float in the air and fall to the ground like a fluffy coat! And how fabulous the houses, trees and bushes look in a snow-white robe - magic, and that’s all! The caring mother winter took care of nature and covered everything with a soft blanket until spring. If you look closely, this blanket is woven from an infinite number of openwork snowflakes. Tiny shaped particles surprise with their variety of shapes and patterns, amaze with their bright shine in the sun and cause delight in the souls of children and adults. On the eve of holiday celebrations, every family has a desire to decorate the interior by doing something with their own hands. This is especially true for children who enjoy creative activities.

    We continue our series of selections of master classes on. Following, it's time to find out different techniques and from different materials. We invite you to take part in ours!

    Paper snowflakes

    Traditional paper snowflakes

    Of course, the first and most common option is white office or transparent tracing paper. We have several master classes on this topic. How to fold a piece of paper to make a snowflake with six rays:

    Fold in three:

    And in half again:

    And then everything depends only on your imagination. You can first draw the desired pattern and cut it out, or you can simply cut out pieces of paper of any shape, and each such snowflake will be unique.

    How to cut a beautiful openwork snowflake

    White, delicate, elegant snowflakes on windows and walls are irreplaceable companions of the New Year holidays. Begin the winter vacation, snow falls. You can not only have snowball fights in the yard, sculpt castles and figures, but also engage in amazing paper crafts. How interesting it is to create carved crafts to set the festive mood and have fun New Year. We suggest considering the option of cutting out a beautiful openwork snowflake from paper. Call all family members, especially children, and get started.

    Materials for winter crafts:

    How to cut a snowflake step by step

    Take a square and fold it in half.

    Mark the places for further bends to create a multi-layer workpiece. Fold the corner of one layer opposite the long base down until it touches the center.

    Fold the selected small triangle in half again, and then follow the highlighted lines on the sides of the triangle.

    Using the points obtained, and also based on the central point of the base, bend the right and left parts of the triangle.

    Fold the piece in half and remove the outer part with scissors.

    Using a simple pencil, draw a sketch for further cutting. Outline the beveled lines, then select the carved rays. For convenience, everything unnecessary can be painted over to clearly demonstrate the cut lines.

    Using scissors, cut out a very thin carved blank. This is an easy symmetrical cutting technique, and the only difficulty will be that the paper is folded in several layers. Sharp scissors will solve this problem.

    Unfold the paper step by step. Be careful not to tear the thin strips. A beautiful openwork snowflake must be smoothed out with an iron or placed under a stack of books for a while so that the paper can straighten out. The New Year's decoration is ready.

    Such snowflakes make very beautiful figures ballerinas:

    Original and beautiful snowflake with Christmas tree

    Even if you don’t draw well or don’t know how to create beautiful ornaments on paper, you can make a beautiful New Year’s snowflake with the image of a Christmas tree. The specimen proposed in this lesson by Elena Nikolaeva is a wonderful decoration for a window, door, mirror or other place in an apartment or classroom. The central image of the Christmas tree is relevant, you will get an unusual winter craft. The snowflake is quite simple and can be completed in a matter of minutes. And you can cut out the entire structure with scissors, and not with a stationery knife.

    To cut out a snowflake of an unusual shape, prepare:

    • regular white sheet;
    • scissors;
    • simple pencil;
    • eraser.

    How to cut a snowflake

    To quickly cut out the symmetrical border of a beautiful snowflake, fold the prepared paper in a special way. Take a white square and fold it in half.

    Fold the resulting triangle so that at the bottom you get an angle of 60 degrees. You can mark the fold lines intuitively or use a ruler, protractor, or other tools available.

    Now bend the bottom corner in half, you will get a piece with a sharper angle of 30 degrees.

    First, start with the edging. Draw a pencil line so that you can later cut out the carved edge and form frosty windows. The lines can be smooth or zigzag.

    Use small scissors to cut out the outer edge and windows.

    So far you have a kind of napkin with a carved outer edge, but the inside is still solid. Unfold the workpiece, leaving it folded in only 2 layers. Using a semi-arc, draw a wavy line along the edge, in the center - half of the Christmas tree, consisting of several triangular tiers. At the top, leave the top in contact with the edging; at the bottom, remove the stump. In these places the Christmas tree will be attached to the carved edging.

    Cut out the Christmas tree along the contour, cut the stripes, separating each tier from each other.

    Unfold and iron the snowflake. Admire the fruit of your creativity.

    Volumetric paper snowflakes

    Volumetric snowflakes made of paper look very beautiful; they are usually hung from chandeliers or on the ceiling so that the volume is visible.

    Snowflakes using quilling technique

    Wire snowflakes

    Chenille wire- one of the new products in materials for needlework. Soft, bright, flexible - a pleasure to work with your hands. The variety of its textures and colors provides excellent material for realizing creative fantasies.

    To make the snowflake, I used a set of already cut wire 30 centimeters long. Accordingly, the diameter finished snowflake will be 30 cm. For one snowflake you will need eight such segments.

    Since a snowflake is a symmetrical figure, maintaining symmetry is necessary condition to get a good result.
    We take three sticks, they will be the main spines of the snowflake. We bend one of the sticks in half to find the middle, unbend it and place it just above the middle of the other spine. We make a couple of turns around to secure it.

    We do the same with the third stick. We get six axes.

    Due to the fact that we wrapped two sticks around the third, they became a little shorter. To level all the axes, slightly pull out one of the ends of the third stick, and long end Let's make a loop for hanging.

    We take the next three sticks, find their middle and cut along it. We bend one of the segments in half and apply it to one of the axes so that their edges coincide (we will do this every time to maintain symmetry). We make a turn to secure it.

    We perform the same actions for the other five segments.

    Take the remaining two sticks and cut each into four equal parts. We get eight short segments, two of which are not useful to us. Bend a small piece in half and apply it to the edge of the axle so that the edges match. We fix it on the main one.

    We perform the same actions for the remaining five segments.

    We adjust all the sticks to create symmetry of the figure.

    What are they used to make New Year's crafts? The authors' imagination is limitless.

    "Snowflake made of clothespins". Sorokin Artyom.

    We will need:

    • wooden clothespins,
    • glue,
    • spray paint.

    Disassemble the clothespins into parts.

    Then you need to glue two pieces together with the back side.

    Then fold all the resulting parts into a round snowflake and glue them together.

    After drying, paint with spray paint. The color we chose was gold. Make a loop. The snowflake is ready.

    From tubes

    An unusual New Year's snowflake or star can be made from cocktail tubes. Since there are tubes of different colors and even multi-colored stripes on sale, they make wonderful New Year’s crafts. This lesson tells you how to make a New Year's gift or decoration that will fit beautifully into the interior or shine on a New Year's tree. MK Elena Nikolaeva. Easy craft and simple, even children can do it on their own.

    For work, prepare:

    • cocktail straws of two colors (4 and 8 pieces, respectively);
    • scissors;
    • 8 small rubber bands for weaving;
    • half bead, button or cabochon;
    • paper or plastic cup;
    • marker.

    How to do New Year's star from tubes step by step

    Prepare the materials necessary for work. Paper cup needed in order to make a special form that will help in the work. Rubber bands will allow you to fix the rays of the star. It is convenient to use a marker to draw lines along which to cut out the mold.

    Cut off the top of the glass and use a marker to draw narrow rectangular stripes. There are only 8 pieces around the circumference at equal distances from each other.

    Cut out the template along the outline. You will get a kind of ring with teeth.

    Prepare the tubes for the star. It is better to cut off the top part, which is corrugated.

    Use a modeling cup mold. Insert the first row of pink (or any other color) tubes into the grooves. There are only 8 holes in the template, they are just designed to insert 4 tubes.

    Place a small rubber band on the end of each ray for braiding.

    Now create a star by laying tubes of a different color. 8 such parts were initially prepared. Thread the tubes of this variety into the cloves so that there are still two empty cloves between them. At the same time, put on an elastic band on top.

    Fill the entire structure with tubes around the circumference in this way. Gradually move forward and insert the tubes into opposite slots, leaving the 2 cloves between them empty.

    Securely secure each of the eight rays with an elastic band. Thus, in each ray there will be 3 tubes (2 of one color and 1 of another). The sprocket model is ready.

    Glue any beautiful center to the center.

    And a few more ideas, how to make snowflakes with your own hands(just a photo):

    If you have your own photos of snowflakes, send them to our competition!

    It is impossible to imagine the New Year without snow and a beautifully decorated house. And not only at home. On New Year's Eve, the whole city dresses up and lights up. I suggest making beautiful snowflakes out of paper and decorating your home with them. And children can take these snowflakes to school (or kindergarten) and decorate their classroom. And cutting out snowflakes is a pleasure: it’s always nice to know that you are doing something beautiful!

    Beautiful simple paper snowflakes (10 patterns)

    Snowflakes made this way turn out very beautiful. And there is an unlimited number of patterns that can be cut out. You can come up with a scheme yourself and bring it to life. I will show you some options for making beautiful, openwork paper snowflakes. Snowflakes made in this way turn out to be six-pointed, just like real ones.

    More more ways To make very beautiful snowflakes, see this article.

    How to fold a sheet of paper correctly

    First you need to fold the paper correctly. For all the snowflakes that I will show next, the paper is folded in the same way. The only difference is the pattern that will need to be cut. The main thing is to carefully repeat each step to make a snowflake.

    In order to make a snowflake, you need a square sheet of paper. By the way, origami paper is now sold (in bookstores and stationery stores), it is square, multi-colored, with patterns. In general, you can choose any one to suit your taste. And origami paper is thinner than standard A4 printer paper. Accordingly, it is easier to cut out of it.

    To make a square from plain A4 paper, you need to fold it, as shown in the photo.

    You have a square folded diagonally (triangle).

    Next, this triangle needs to be folded in half again. The fold will determine where the center of the snowflake is (I indicate the fold location with a dotted line). Folded it and put it back. In front of you will be just a square, folded once diagonally.

    To make the snowflake perfect, you will need a protractor. Measure an angle of 60 degrees from the center of the snowflake to the left and right side. It is along these lines that you will need to bend the paper.

    Fold the left corner first, then the right. Bend carefully as shown in the photo below.

    Now turn your workpiece over and bend it in half lengthwise. Cut off all unnecessary elements from the resulting figure, leaving a triangle.

    That's all! Everything is quite simple, the main thing is to first carefully read the instructions and repeat everything. And you will succeed. Now you need to draw any pattern on the resulting triangle and cut it out.

    Some patterns of openwork paper snowflakes

    First option: snowflake with hearts. Using a simple pencil, draw a pattern as shown below and cut it out. It's better to have sharp scissors. It was convenient for me to cut with nail scissors, especially the elements where there are smooth, curved lines.

    Such a beautiful snowflake turned out according to this scheme.

    Another diagram for an example of a six-pointed snowflake. This is a snowflake flower.

    And here is the result. Like? Write in the comments which snowflake you liked the most. Or maybe you ended up with a very beautiful snowflake according to your own invented design?

    The third pattern is for you! It's simple: fold it, draw it, cut it out, and get beauty!

    This snowflake turns out to be very openwork, almost like lace.

    The fourth scheme is a simple paper snowflake.

    And the end result is in front of you.

    Such snowflakes will become decorations for your home, Christmas tree, and windows during the New Year's season. And if you get a little more creative, you can decorate them with sparkles. Make a snowflake from white paper and color it with colored markers. As you noticed, I made these snowflakes large, from a whole A4 sheet. But snowflakes can be made from a square of any size. Only snowflakes that are too small will be more difficult to cut out and draw a figured pattern on them.

    And now for the bonus! 6 more patterns for cutting simple snowflakes from paper.

    Volumetric “fluffy” paper snowflake

    This snowflake turns out very beautiful and fluffy. Such a paper snowflake will lift your spirits and make it truly New Year's. Be sure to check out other options for beautiful voluminous paper snowflakes! The more different snowflakes, the more beauty.

    This option is made from an eight-pointed snowflake. The workpiece is folded differently than in the previous, six-ray version. But first you need a square. Take a sheet of A4 and make a square out of it. Do not throw away the cut rectangle; you will later make small snowflakes from it.

    The resulting square has already been folded diagonally to form a triangle. Next, this triangle needs to be folded in half again to get a smaller triangle.

    And fold the resulting triangle in half again. It turns out that the square will be folded three times. The output will be a small triangle.

    Now take the fold line of this triangle and bend it to the very long side. You will get a figure like in the first photo below. Now you need to cut off the excess part of the workpiece. You cut along the conditional line, which is shown in the photo, and you get a ready-made blank from which the snowflake will be cut.

    Take the workpiece with the center of the snowflake facing up. The bottom of the snowflake needs to be trimmed, something like a fringe should be made, which will make the snowflake look fluffy. The cuts should be made about 4 mm wide. The more cuts you make, the more magnificent the result will be.

    Now carefully unfold the snowflake. It is important not to rush here so as not to tear the “fringe”. This turned out to be the lower part of a voluminous snowflake. Now you need to make 2 more (or maybe 3) the same snowflakes, only smaller in size. Pieces of different colors will look beautiful.

    That is, if this snowflake was made from a 20x20 cm square, then make the next one in exactly the same way, only the square should be 15x15 cm. The third snowflake will be even smaller - from a 10x10 cm square.

    Place the smaller snowflake on top of the larger one so that the rays do not coincide. Glue them in the center. In the same way, place the third, smallest snowflake, and glue it too. If desired, you can glue sequins, beads to the center or otherwise decorate your creation. By making several of these snowflakes in different colors, you can very beautifully decorate your apartment, house or school classroom.

    I wish everyone a Happy New Year! And let your snowflakes be the most beautiful!

    A New Year's snowflake can be made from paper, pasta, and even from the base of a toilet paper roll.

    There are many ways to make a paper snowflake. You will learn how to make a regular and voluminous snowflake. Connect the kids and let's get started. You will definitely succeed.

    How to make a snowflake with your own hands

    1. Prepare a square sheet of paper and fold it in half, diagonally.

    2. Fold the resulting triangle in half again.

    3. Notice how the new triangle is formed. This is done by eye. The main thing is that one side of the triangle touches the opposite fold.

    4. Cut off the bottom of the shape and you can draw an outline along which you will further cut

    Here are some pattern options.

    How to make a snowflake (video)

    Step 1: make the blanks

    Step 2: draw a pattern and cut out a snowflake

    How to make a voluminous snowflake

    You will need:

    Paper of any color (preferably not too thin);
    - scissors;
    - stapler (you can use glue or tape);
    - a simple pencil;
    - ruler.

    1. Prepare 6 squares of paper. The squares must be the same size. Bend each square in half, diagonally.

    * If you want to make a small snowflake, then the side of each square can be 10 cm, and if large, then the whole 25 cm. For large snowflakes, it is better to use thick paper. For beginners, it is advisable to make the first snowflake small.

    2. Using a ruler and pencil, mark 3 parallel lines. The distance between each line should be the same. When making a large snowflake, you can make more stripes.

    * In the image, the lines are drawn with a red felt-tip pen to make it easier to see.

    3. Using scissors, start cutting the paper from the edge, not reaching a little to the middle (about 3-5mm).

    4. Turn the paper back into a square and start rolling the first row of strips into a tube (see picture).

    * Strips can be fastened with a stapler or glue.

    5. Turn the paper over to the other side and fasten the next two strips, also fastening them with a stapler, glue or tape.

    6. Turn the snowflake over again and connect the last strips.

    7. The same process must be repeated with the remaining five paper squares.

    8. When all the parts of the snowflake are ready, they need to be connected in the middle with a stapler. First you need to connect half of the snowflake, that is, 3 of its parts, and then the remaining 3 parts.

    9. Staple both halves together, as well as all the places where the snowflakes touch. This way the snowflake will not lose its shape.

    10. Start decorating the snowflake the way you want. You can use stickers, glitter, etc.

    * Yours beautiful craft You can hang it on a window, wall, or Christmas tree.

    How to make a big snowflake from paper strips

    You will need:

    Thick paper of any color;
    - scissors;
    - glue.

    1. Cut 12 strips of paper 1cm wide and 20cm long.

    * You can slightly increase the size of the strips - width 1.5cm, length 30cm.

    2. Fold the two strips crosswise in the middle and glue them together as shown in the picture.

    3. Add 2 more strips vertically and horizontally, intertwine them and attach them together.

    4. Glue the corner strips together as shown in the picture. We get this figure, which represents half a snowflake. Using the same technology, prepare the other half of the snowflake.

    5. Now it's time to glue the halves together. To do this, you need to rotate each one 45 degrees. Glue the loose strips to the corresponding corners of the petals (see picture).

    * You can glue the halves in the middle so that the snowflake looks like a flower.

    Making beautiful snowflakes from pasta

    You will need:

    Pasta of various shapes;
    - glue;
    - acrylic paints;
    - brush;
    - decorations to taste (glitter, stickers, artificial snow (you can use sugar or salt instead), etc.);

    * To make it easier, place the pasta on a large flat plate.

    * To avoid staining the table with glue and paint, cover it with paper.

    1. Before you start making a snowflake, you need to come up with a shape, i.e. what it will look like. At this stage, it is also worth considering what form will be durable and will not come apart.

    2. Once you've come up with a shape, you can start gluing. IN in this case Moment glue is used, but if you don’t have it, you can try replacing it with PVA glue.

    2.1 Drain the inner circle of the snowflake first. After this, you need to leave the glue to dry and this small part of the snowflake to get stronger.

    2.2 Start gluing the next circle.

    * Using the same scheme, you can “build” several circles, but remember that the material is fragile, which means you shouldn’t get excited and make huge snowflakes.

    2.3 After gluing, leave your snowflakes for a day.

    3. Time to paint the snowflake. For this you can use acrylic paint. Spray paint may be the best option, but it is best to apply it outdoors rather than indoors.

    * You should not use gouache - not only will it take longer to dry, but it may also crack if applied in a thick layer.

    *If you're using acrylic paint, you'll also want to choose a brush that can get into all the crevices of the pasta.

    * It is advisable to have several brushes of different sizes for convenience. If necessary, you can apply a second coat of paint.

    4. Decorating a snowflake. You can use glitter or artificial snow, for example.

    * Snowflakes do not dry quickly, so it is better not to rush to hang them on the Christmas tree immediately after making them. You can hang such snowflakes both on the Christmas tree and on the wall.

    How to make a snowflake from a toilet paper reel

    One such reel is enough for just one snowflake.

    Press the bobbin down and cut it into 8 equal pieces (each about 1 cm high).

    Simply glue the resulting rings together.

    Now you can decorate your snowflake as you wish.

    How to make a very beautiful snowflake from buttons or rhinestones

    In this lesson I present the most interesting, beautiful and original templates how to cut snowflakes from paper with your own hands with diagrams and unique step by step photos. On the eve of the New Year holidays, everyone wants the house to be extraordinarily beautiful, cozy and fabulous. A good option decorating the house before the New Year holidays will include window decoration paper snowflakes, unusual drawings, festive motives, which will bring a pre-holiday mood and a New Year's fairy tale into the usual decor of the room.

    The simplest thing you can do with your own hands is to cut it out and attach it to different places paper snowflakes. Everyone remembers how, as a child, they cut them out before the holidays. kindergarten or at home. Today, having become parents, you can spend time with your child with benefit and pleasure, cutting out beautiful snow-white snowflakes from paper with your own hands. Kids are always with great joy take part in such events.

    Paper snowflakes made with your own hands and with joint efforts with children are not only a way to decorate your home, but also to bring into it the New Year's spirit, a sense of celebration and family comfort and unity.

    Teaching your child to cut out a snowflake yourself is not at all difficult. To do this you need to prepare necessary tool and paper. As a base, you can use napkins, colored paper, or just a white sheet from an album.

    Sheet thickness does not have special significance. But you need to know that thin sheets make the most delicate and airy snowflakes. And paper that is too thick will be difficult to cut.

    You will also need a pencil and sharp scissors. After the pattern for the future snowflake is selected, the paper is folded as shown in the photo. If you have a sheet of A4 paper, then cut off the excess to get a square.

    Fold diagonally.

    The more folds you make, the more interesting and delicate the snowflake will turn out to be.

    The size of the future decoration depends on how large sizes a sheet is initially selected. In this case, the choice is influenced only by the desire to have a large or small snowflake.

    Once the design is on the paper, we begin cutting. This process requires special care and precision. Under no circumstances should you cut off the edges of the paper at the folds, as the snowflake may simply fall apart.

    Children really enjoy this process. After all, in the end you will get a beauty with your own hands, which is so nice to decorate a Christmas tree, windows or walls in a room.

    It should be noted that such a seemingly simple activity as cutting out snowflakes from paper with your own hands is a great opportunity to develop a child’s imagination, sense of beauty and artistic taste.

    It so happened that the snowflake became an attribute of any New Year's holiday. Often on New Year's parties The girls' first role is a snowflake. We can safely say that a snowflake is the main attribute of the New Year celebration.

    Snowflake using paper quilling technique

    Quilling snowflakes look elegant, especially if they are complemented with sparkling rhinestones and small foil elements or in the form of small patches. It is not necessary to buy special paper to create New Year's snowflakes, you can cut regular office sheets into thin strips and use a toothpick instead of a split stick. You can wind the strips using a simple method: pressing the paper onto the stick with two fingers and twisting it in your hands.

    What to prepare for modeling snowflakes:

    • a sheet of office white paper;
    • scissors;
    • any glue with a brush or a special thin spout;
    • stick or toothpick;
    • snowflake created using a hole punch or patch blue color;
    • blue half beads.

    How to model a snowflake quilling

    Take either special paper or cut the sheet into strips of the same width. Use scissors or a stationery knife, a ruler and a special thick mat. It will take many strips to create individual parts.

    Wind each strip individually onto a stick. The paper easily remembers forced bending, but so that the parts do not unwind and take a certain shape, it is necessary to glue the ends together.

    For the middle, prepare 1 large round piece. Also make droplets to fill the body of the snowflake. Only 12 pieces. Make sure they are the same size.

    Glue 6 droplets around the circumference, adding a drop of glue to the side wall.

    If there are large enough gaps between the parts of the first layer, you can fill them with small rolls. Roll 6 small rounds.

    Glue small rounds into the gaps of the first layer.

    Apply the second layer of droplets. Apply glue to small parts and press down the droplets with the back (wide) part.

    A paper quilling snowflake model has been assembled. Now we have to decorate it with blue decor. Glue a snowflake and a half bead in the center. Add 6 blue crystals to each ray.

    Blue sparkle will add a festive touch. The New Year's craft is ready. It can be hung on a green branch or on a window.

    In this master class, I propose to make an unusual snowflake-card from paper on a stand. It will be an excellent gift for your mother or grandmother, and at a school exhibition it will have no equal. Also, by doing this craft, the child will learn how to fold paper, carefully cut it and use glue. And of course, fantasize! After all, creating snowflakes is a real art!

    Materials needed for the postcard:

    • colored paper delicate shades;
    • cardboard for base or stand;
    • glue;
    • scissors;
    • sequins for decoration.

    Look at snowflakes with your children, tell them how snow is formed, what types of snowflakes there are and how they differ. Usually snowflakes are six-pointed, but we will have an eight-pointed snowflake, since it is made using the origami technique. In order to make one snowflake, you need to bend a sheet of colored paper in half and cut out two identical squares.

    Now fold each square in half in different directions. You should get two folds that divide the sheet into four squares. Use a pencil to make marks on back side. They are located in the middle of the side of the small square.

    Carefully cut the paper to the marks.

    The following blanks are obtained. For one snowflake you will need two things.

    Using glue, attach the corners to the rays.

    Now you need to place the blanks on top of each other with an offset. It turns out to be such a snowflake!

    It's time to decorate the snowflake. To do this, you can take rhinestones, beads or sequins. They need to be glued so as to cover the joints of the corners.

    All that remains is to make the base – the stand. To do this, you need to fold a wide strip of cardboard inward so that you get three equal parts. Then use scissors to round the corners.

    You can write a congratulation inside the base. All that remains is to glue the snowflake to the edge of the workpiece. We placed a small snowflake cut out of foil in the center.

    These are the snowflakes you get in half an hour - bright, airy, sparkling! And most importantly, they keep children's hands warm.

    How to make a simple paper snowflake step by step video tutorial

    Blue paper snowflake using origami mosaic technique

    The origami mosaic technique allows you to create beautiful relief paintings from paper. They look unusual and very attractive. Those who have not yet mastered this needlework technique and are just about to try it, should immediately tune in to painstaking work that requires maximum concentration and perseverance. Even the simplest image in an origami mosaic will take a lot of time, because you not only need to choose a clear diagram, but also make a lot of miniature square blanks.

    In this master class I will show you how to make a volumetric blue snowflake made of paper using the origami mosaic technique.

    To create such a New Year's panel you will need different materials and tools:

    • scissors;
    • black lead pencil (simple);
    • wide tape;
    • ruler;
    • 2 sheets of white cardboard;
    • 6 sheets of white paper;
    • 2 sheets of blue double-sided construction paper;
    • tube of PVA glue.

    First, on white and blue paper you need to draw squares measuring 3x3 cm.

    Now cut the blanks into individual elements.

    And start forming squares from which a panel in the form of a blue snowflake on a white background will be assembled.
    How to make a square out of paper using the origami mosaic technique?
    Take one square.

    Gently fold it in half.

    Fold this blank in half again so that you end up with a square half the size of the original one.

    Unfold all sides to their original position.

    Now bend each corner of the square towards its center.

    This is how it turns out.

    Turn it over to the wrong side.

    And again begin to bend the corners of the square to the center.

    The result should be a very small square measuring 1.5x1.5 cm.

    In total, you need to make 136 blue squares and 225 white ones. This amount was calculated according to the diagram attached below.

    Now take a simple pencil, a school ruler, and on two sheets of white cardboard, draw a grid of squares with sides equal to 1.5 cm.

    Using tape, glue the two sheets together and cut a square so that each side holds exactly 19 squares.

    Now we move on to pasting the base with small squares. To begin, mark the center of the craft and glue a white square onto it.

    Now apply a drop of PVA glue to each shaded cell and fill them with blue blanks. Glue the central stripes.

    Then place the squares diagonally.

    Form a pattern according to the diagram.

    The blue paper snowflake mosaic is almost ready!

    All that remains is to glue white squares on the empty squares.

    When the work is finished, you will receive an original panel in the form of a blue snowflake on a white background. She looks like this! Look how unusually the texture of the craft is visible, creating volume and relief.

    Using this technique, you can make many other snowflakes, which will differ in image pattern or color.

    This panel looks great on the wall and creates a festive atmosphere. It can also be used as original postcard for one of my friends.

    Fold the square in half diagonally and transfer the diagram as shown in the figure. Fold in half again.

    The next step is to cut parallel lines. The cuts must be made in such a way that they are directed towards each other, but do not converge completely.

    We connect and glue the corners of the first small square.

    Then we turn it over and glue the corners of the next square.

    And so on in order until all the corners are glued together.

    To make the snowflake voluminous, you need to very carefully glue the corners of all the squares. The result is six snowflakes, which, when glued together, form a three-dimensional 3-D figure.

    We connect the corners of all the blanks together.

    In order for the figure to keep its shape and not fall apart, you need to additionally glue the sides of the snowflake.

    Volumetric snowflake star

    We will make a snowflake according to the diagram. We fold the piece of paper diagonally and make three slits on the fold side. Connect the two shortest ends. We unfold the workpiece with the wrong side. Glue the ends of the two middle strips together. We unfold the workpiece again and continue until all the ends are glued together. You will get 6 blanks.

    We glue all the blanks with the base to each other.

    If you find it difficult to make this snowflake, you can watch the video and everything will become clear:

    Carved volumetric snowflake

    This snowflake turns out soft and fluffy, and kids really like it.

    To make it, we use a sheet of double-sided colored paper, cut it to make a square, and fold it diagonally. Then we fold it three more times to make triangles.

    There should be three sides and a common fold side.

    We wrap the long end inward and cut off the resulting triangle.

    We make straight, long cuts.

    Carefully unfold the workpiece so that the fringe does not tear.

    To make the snowflakes voluminous, we make several of the same blanks (two or three) of a smaller size, connecting them in the center. Our voluminous beauty is ready!

    If you find the production difficult, we can go through the whole process step by step using a video:

    Snowflake using quilling technique

    The voluminous snowflakes that we make using the quilling technique (the art of paper rolling) turn out very beautiful and festive. They can be made from newspapers, or from plain paper.

    Prepare paper strips:

    • 8 pcs size 25*2 cm,
    • 16 pcs size 21*2cm
    • 16 pcs size 19*2 cm

    But you can take other sizes, then the snowflake will turn out larger or smaller.

    Glue the ends of each strip together.

    We form blanks.

    We cut out a strip of paper 2 cm wide, wrap it, for example, on nail polish :)) glue the ends and create the center of the snowflake.

    Newspaper is thinner than paper, so you need to make strips in several layers to add thickness.

    We combine everything into one product.

    Creating a three-dimensional snowflake can be seen step by step using this video:

    Multi-colored volumetric snowflake

    We cut strips of two colors - 5 long, 10 medium, 10 short, as in the photo.

    Then comes the turn of short stripes. It turns out to be such a preparation.

    Use a stapler or glue to connect the pieces in the middle. Glue a circle of paper into the center and decorate with any pattern.

    It turns out to be a voluminous snow beauty!

    1. Cut the paper to make a square. Fold it diagonally.

    3. We draw three lines along which the cuts will go, but not all the way to the fold, since this will be the center of the snowflake.

    4. Cut along the lines. We will make triangular slits at the bottom.

    5. Unfold the workpiece.

    6. Bend and glue the middle stripes of each ray in the center.

    7. We make the second snowflake in the same way.

    8. Glue the blanks together so that the rays are staggered. We carefully glue the center and decorate it with rhinestones.
