    Explanatory note

    The problem of organizing the educational and developmental process in a mixed-age group of preschool educational institutions is very pressing today. Knowledge of the specifics of working with preschoolers, the ability to correlate the individual qualities of preschoolers with the goals and objectives of the educational program aims teachers at finding optimal forms of work. Project activities, undoubtedly, is such a form and is widespread in our practice of working in preschool educational institutions. This project makes it possible to fully implement an educational program with pupils aged 5-7 years on cognitive development with a priority moral and patriotic direction.
    The patriotic focus of the project ensures that children develop patriotic feelings, love for the Motherland, pride in its achievements, and confidence that Russia is a great multinational country with a heroic past and a happy future.
    The moral orientation of the project ensures the development of respect for traditional values: love and respect for elders, caring attitude towards children, elderly people; instilling in children the desire to follow a positive example in their actions.
    The project implementation period is from April 1 to May 9, 2015. The project brings together teachers, pupils from 5 to 7 years old and parents of pupils.

    Relevance of the project:

    Every year there are fewer and fewer veterans of the Great Patriotic War. We, the current generation, are obliged to remember those who forged Victory at the fronts and worked in the rear. It is the direct responsibility of adults to help preserve the memory of the heroic facts of our history, to instill in young citizens pride in their Motherland, and to nourish the receptive soul of a child with sublime human values.
    The period of preschool childhood is favorable for the emotional and psychological impact on the child, because the images of perception of reality and cultural space are very bright and strong and therefore remain in the memory for a long time, and sometimes for a lifetime, which is very important in the education of patriotism.
    Raising patriotism in children preschool age means nurturing affection for the small Motherland, understanding and recognition of the elements of the historical and cultural heritage of one’s country, which in the future becomes the basis for the formation of pride, love and respect for the Fatherland. This is noted in the Concept of Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation: “The education system is designed to ensure... the education of Russian patriots, citizens of a legal democratic, social state, respecting the rights and freedoms of the individual, possessing high morality and showing national and religious tolerance.”
    The authors of modern educational programs highlight the task of expanding the social competence of children in matters of social significance of the national holiday of Victory Day (E. S. Evdokimova, L. V. Kolomiychenko, L. A. Paramonova, etc.). Within the limits accessible to children, they emphasize the importance of introducing preschoolers to the fact that war is always a tragedy and grief for people. At the same time, it is important for children to learn to admire the courage and heroism of the people who defended their Homeland; experience your involvement with distant events of history, feel the joy of the Great Victory, pride in your Fatherland.
    In solving this problem today, an important role should be given to preschool education, since it is at preschool age that the basic moral qualities of a child are formed. In this regard, teachers of a preschool educational institution are faced with the task of developing in children citizenship, a sense of love and pride for their Motherland through the construction of an optimal pedagogical system aimed at developing the civic and patriotic qualities of preschoolers using modern multimedia technologies. One of the most effective methods of patriotic education is project activity, which allows you to create a natural situation of communication and practical interaction between children and adults.
    The project “Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten...” is aimed not only at creating conditions for the formation of children’s ideas about the history of the Russian state during the Great Patriotic War, but it is also intended to give children the opportunity to reflect their ideas about these events in various types of activities. The idea of ​​the project is this: on the basis of cognitive and creative activities, to develop children’s desire to learn as much as possible about the history of the country and city during the Great Patriotic War. The topic of the project is quite relevant in modern stage social reality. Federal State Educational Standard preschool education calls one of the basic principles of preschool education: introducing children to sociocultural norms, traditions of the family, society and state.

    Relevance of the topic:

    Instilling a sense of patriotism in preschoolers is a complex and lengthy process. Love for loved ones, for kindergarten, for one’s hometown and home country play a huge role in the development of a child’s personality. In recent years, there has been a rethinking of the essence of patriotic education: the idea of ​​cultivating patriotism and citizenship, acquiring increasing social significance, is becoming a task of national importance. Modern researchers as a fundamental factor in the integration of social and pedagogical conditions in the patriotic and civic education of preschoolers, a national-regional component is considered. At the same time, the emphasis is on nurturing love for one’s home, nature, and the culture of the small Motherland.

    Acquaintance of children with their native land: with historical, cultural, national, geographical, natural features forms in them such character traits that will help them become a patriot and citizen of their Motherland. After all, vivid impressions of one’s native nature and the history of one’s native land, received in childhood, often remain in a person’s memory for the rest of his life.

    The growth of scientific and technological progress, new discoveries and technical inventions have relegated spiritual values ​​to the background. The problems of educating the younger generation to love their small Motherland have fallen out of sight of scientists and practitioners for many years. With the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard for preschool education, significant changes have occurred in the development of the education system. This led to changes in the content of education. One of the priority areas was the introduction of preschool children to the national and regional cultural heritage and history of the country and region.

    The main tasks of moral and patriotic education in the education system:

    ensure the historical continuity of generations, preservation, dissemination and development of national culture, fostering a caring attitude towards the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia;

    education of Russian patriots, citizens of a legal, democratic state, capable of socialization in a civil society;

    formation of peace and interpersonal relationships.

    Conducted among children and parents of our students preschool the survey shows:

    by 5-6 years old, 65% of preschoolers lack cognitive interest in the history and cultural heritage of the city or region;

    70% of children have a low level of knowledge of the history of the city and region;

    85% of parents do not have the opportunity to visit local cultural institutions due to high employment;

    45% of parents find it difficult to know the history of the city or region;

    10% of parents do not know and do not want to know the history of the city and region.

    The task of instilling a sense of patriotism and love for the small Motherland was traditionally solved in preschool educational institutions, but the results of the study showed the need to strengthen work in this direction and fill it with new content. Therefore, there was a need to change the forms of organizing the pedagogical process to familiarize children with the features of the city and the region. In our opinion, the solution to this problem was the implementation of the project: “Me and My Motherland”

    We believe that the project method allows children to learn complex local history material through a creative approach to problem solving, thereby making the cognitive process interesting and motivational. Project activities develop Creative skills preschoolers, helps the teacher himself develop as a creative personality.

    Implementation of project content.

    This project was tested within the framework of the Central Children's Preschool Educational Institution - Kindergarten No. 51 "Alyonushka" in 2015-2016 academic year with children of senior preschool age in specially organized activities; joint activities of a teacher-psychologist and a child (subgroup of children); independent children's activities; activities of children and parents.

    During the implementation of the project, we came to the conclusion that such activities, games, productive activities based on the individually created album “Globe of Poznavaika” unite children with common impressions, experiences, emotions, and contribute to the formation of collective relationships.

    A “genuine meeting” with the cultural and historical heritage of their native village and region helped to reveal the intellectual and creative abilities of children, and formed some judgments and assessments. The developmental environment created in groups by educators helped to implement the main directions of museum pedagogy. And most importantly, the necessary conditions for the implementation of the project were created:

    interest of children and parents;

    methodological developments,

    integration with kindergarten specialists.

    Results achieved:

    You should not expect children to show adult forms of love for their hometown, but if during the implementation of the project children acquire knowledge about the history of the city, symbols, attractions, know the names of those who founded and glorified the city, begin to show interest in the events of city life and reflect your impressions in productive activities, then we can assume that the goal and objectives of the project have been fulfilled. And based on the results of the control diagnostics of children on moral and patriotic education, we can safely say that almost all expectations from this project were met: cognitive interest in the history and cultural heritage of the native land and state increased by 25%; the level of knowledge of the history of the native village of Kostrovo increased by 40%; The importance of the child in the life of the family increased by 45%.

    As a result of the work we did, the idea arose to create a long-term project on moral and patriotic education, which will consist of four blocks:

    The problem of patriotism education of the younger generation is one of the most relevant today.
